Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Slips Into Little Sister Kylie Jenner's Dress

We've said it before and we'll say it again: Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy style is not your average maternity wear.

The 35-year-old reality star, who is pregnant with her third child, slipped into her 17-year-old sister's white minidress as she stepped out in Beverly Hills on Oct. 16. Kardashian apparently didn't ask Kylie Jenner before she borrowed the outfit, but she owned up to the petty theft in the caption of an Instagram photo, writing: "Shout out to my fashionista sister @kyliejenner for letting me borrow your dress AKA I stole it and you had no idea but for not freaking out when you see me wearing it."

One downside of being a celebrity? The paparrazzi photos will let your sister know if you take her clothes without asking.

Paris Hilton's Moschino Outfit Is The Most Paris Hilton Outfit Ever

The wildly fun outfits in Moschino's Spring/Summer '15 line, accurately described by some as "Barbie's dream collection," don't exactly lend themselves to casual errand runs. Unless, of course, you're Paris Hilton.

The heiress, who's gone for the "Barbie princess" look before, hit the streets of New York in a Moschino-branded, black and pink crop top and matching skirt. Of course, Hilton brought along a dog with her, who was also draped in pink. It's hard to tell if the dog is the Mr. Amazing, Hilton's ridiculously tiny pup that she reportedly dropped thousands on. After all, it could easily be one of her other (approximately) 35 pets.

Channing Tatum Opens Up About Struggles With Dyslexia And ADHD

0

In a recent interview with T, The New York Times Style Magazine, Channing Tatum opened up about his past struggles with dyslexia and ADHD. "I have never considered myself a very smart person, for a lot of reasons," he said.

Tatum believes that, based on his experiences, the "system is broken."

"Not having early success on that one path messes with you," he said. "You get lumped in classes with kids with autism and Down syndrome, and you look around and say, 'Okay, so this is where I'm at.' Or you get put in the typical classes and you say, 'All right, I'm obviously not like these kids either.' So you're kind of nowhere. You're just different."

Of course, Tatum overcame that difficult time. He's gone on to become one of Hollywood's top-earning actors, recently adding sculpture to his long list of skills. "I could never carve away marble like the ancients," he said of his work. “I’m more of an additive guy.”

Tatum's career makes for a powerful statement of the healing power of the arts, and the truth that you can go on to become anything your heart desires, be it a famous actor or a casual sculptor.

The ladies of Twitter were on their A-game while dating this week. We need to take a page out of Gaby Dunn's book of pick up lines after she tweeted, "'You're telling me you made it this far in life without knowing your Hogwarts house?!' - another successful conversation with a man." Very smooth.

As the week wound down, the women of twitter were, understandably, a bit tired. Twitter user AnotherBottleofWhine was one of the many exhausted ladies excitedly awaiting for Friday, "I love you. // - a thing I just whispered to my bed." TGITW (Thank God It's The Weekend).

Bradley Cooper And Jimmy Fallon Have Egg On Their Faces, Literally

When we say Jimmy Fallon and Bradley Cooper have egg on their faces, we don't mean they're embarrassed. But maybe they should be.

Cooper and Fallon played an intense game of egg Russian roulette on "The Tonight Show" on Friday. In the suspenseful showdown, the two took turns selecting eggs and cracking them on their own faces. Some eggs were hard-boiled, and some were just plain raw. Watch the fierce competition in the clip above.

Jena Malone Might Play Robin In 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice'

0

Rumor has it that Jena Malone just might play Robin the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Local news station WILX-10 in Michigan spoke with an extra from the film, who said it will feature a female Robin. As Variety notes, Malone has been seen "has been seen on the WB set and at recent movie premieres sporting a new red hairdo." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Malone is definitely in the film, playing a "mystery role" in the film.

So, this is small leap ... the kind you take while wearing lycra and fighting the bad guys. Since "Batman V Superman" doesn't come out until March of 2016, there will likely be plenty more "alleged" and "reported" casting rumors before Malone's part can be confirmed. Either way, this does not smell like good news for all those Matt Damon memes.

HuffPost has reached out to both Warner Bros. and Jena Malone's representation for comment; this post will be updated if and when they respond.

Rob Lowe: 'Living Well Is The Best Revenge'

0
0
Rob Lowe, 25 years sober, sat in the Champagne Room at the famed Palladium Theater in Hollywood, California on Friday night, dressed in all black but sans tie. The 50-year-old actor was all ready for prom.

There with his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, Lowe was on hand to support comedian Seth Rogen’s third annual Hilarity for Charity event. This year, the theme was '80s prom, which suited Lowe just fine: He never even went to his own prom, forgoing that seminal rite of passage for 1983’s cult favorite, “The Outsiders.”

“I’m going to try to make up for lost time by making out with my wife in the backseat of a car tonight,” he said to HuffPost Entertainment, looking over at Berkoff, who was seated nearby.

Lowe has long been involved in raising awareness for health issues, specifically cancer. He has worked tirelessly with Stand Up To Cancer and was the first male spokesperson for breast cancer awareness, having lost his mother and grandmother to the disease.

Now, he's working with Genworth to encourage families to start having conversations about long-term health preparation for diseases like Alzheimer’s. He likens it to having the adult version of the birds-and-the-bees talk, and says it can be uncomfortable.

“It’s a tacit acknowledgment of aging and mortality. And we don’t want to talk about it," Lowe said. "We don’t want to think of our parents in that light and we certainly don’t want to think of ourselves in that light.”

rob lowe

Lowe has been married to Berkoff since 1991, and they have two adult sons who are both in college -- but he is still getting used to that statement. One is at Duke and one is at Stanford and Lowe actually shudders at the word "adult" when discussing his children. “It’s such a depressing phrase,” he said with a laugh. “I prefer rambunctious. But I can’t really call them kids anymore, can I?”

In fact, most of Lowe’s die-hard fans have loved him since he was practically a kid himself. After starring in many films during the 1980s and 1990s -- he was one of the original members of the Brat Pack -- Lowe transitioned to long-running television series like “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation." He is perhaps one of the best people you could talk to about the definition of success. But the meaning of that word has undoubtedly changed throughout the decades of Lowe's career.

rob lowe

“When I was filming ‘The Outsiders,’ my idea of success was getting the next Martin Scorsese movie,” he said. “In fact, when Tom Cruise did get the next Martin Scorsese movie ['The Color of Money'], I was very angry. And then to add insult to injury, it was starring fucking Paul Newman. So I wanted to kill myself.”

But over time, the value he places on success has morphed quite drastically. Now, at age 50, Lowe calls upon a new interpretation. “Living well is the best revenge,” he says. “It’s more about how I can live my life with the people I love. And if work doesn’t fit around my lifestyle, I’m not interested.”

rob lowe

Part of that lifestyle is living close to the ocean in Montecito, California and surfing whenever he can. Surfing is such an integral part of his life that in 2011 Annie Leibovitz shot him on the cover of Vanity Fair, shirtless with nothing but his board. She also shot a photograph of his two sons for the magazine, and he has it signed and framed at home above his desk. It’s also the screensaver on his phone.

Recently, Lowe has taken to stand-up paddleboarding. “Maybe it’s because I’m a Pisces. But whether it’s surfing or just being in the water, I find the ocean unbelievably recharging,” he said.

He has an animated show in the works at Comedy Central with Elizabeth Banks called “Moonbeam City,” and a recently announced NBC comedy where he plays a character described as a “newly sober narcissist father.”

“Really what I’m playing is the Dos Equis 'Most Interesting Man In The World' -- without the Dos Equis,” he said.

But the better phrase for his character, according to Lowe, is a "benevolent narcissist." It's a term coined by his former “Parks and Recreation” co-star Rashida Jones.

“I’m taking it as a compliment,” he explained of the nickname. Besides, as Lowe relayed, Jones thinks all the best people are narcissists, including even her father, Quincy Jones.

rob lowe rashida jones

In an attempt to define the term, Lowe used Quincy Jones as his example. “He lives a huge, talked about, endlessly interesting, larger-than-life life. Charismatic. Walks into a room and lights it up with energy. Hilarious. Interesting. And likes to be the center of the action,” he said.

Comedies that are about the lives of the people making them are most exciting to Lowe. "Like driving the car today, 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald' comes on the radio. I’m singing along. I loved it. My wife hates it, she wants me to turn it off. We fight about 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,'" Lowe said. "That is an episode of this show."

Talk about doing whatever it takes. Ashley would be so happy, because they could have sex much more easily now.

Celebs Show Us Different Ways To Sport A Bob On This Week's Beauty List

0

The celebrities who topped this week's best beauty list proved that they are a cut above the rest with their bangin' bob haircuts.

Jennifer Lawrence looked drop-dead gorgeous at a "Serena" premiere in London with her blonde bob set in deep waves. Emma Stone made a stunning appearance at the New York Film Festival sporting a sleek bob hairstyle. And Noomi Rapace kept it fashion-forward with her platinum bob center-parted and tucked behind her ears.

Check out these bob haircuts below, and see which other stars made our best and worst beauty list this week.

BEST: Jennifer Lawrence

jennifer lawrence

We just can't stop gushing over Lawrence's wavy blonde bob. The color and style looks amazing with her black tuxedo dress, and the chin-grazing cut frames her round face beautifully.

BEST: Emma Stone

Stone's shiny red strands standout even more with this blunt 'do. And the swoop bangs gives way to her subtle green eyeshadow and rosy lip color.

BEST: Noomi Rapace

It's great to see the Swedish actress land a spot on our best beauty list this week. With her bone straight hairdo, smokey eyes and contoured cheeks, she put together quite the red carpet look.

BEST: Maisie Williams

maisie williams

You may not be used to seeing the "Game of Thrones" actress like this, but doesn't she look great? She balances out her racy orange-red lipstick with dewy skin, winged-out liner and glossy curls.

WORST: Shailene Woodley

shailene woodley

It's pretty obvious where our issue lies here with Woodley's beauty look: her headband. The width and thickness of the black hair accessory reminds us more of something we'd wear while working out or washing our face before bed.

WORST: Teri Hatcher

teri hatcher

At just a few months shy of her 50th birthday, Hatcher looks even more beautiful as she grows older. However, we wish she'd lose the strip false eyelashes and powdery white shadow that takes away from her beauty.

WORST: Dascha Polanco

We were in love with the "Orange Is the New Black" actress' new 'do when she first debuted it at New York Fashion Week. But this style makes it very clear that she's wearing a wig.

WORST: Rebecca Wisocky

The struggle of having hair with multiple textures is oh-so-real. Wisocky's attempt at straightening her roots might have come out a bit more polished with a few drops of smoothing serum that also protects her strands from heat damage.

Martin Sheen Protects Oceans, Newest Sea Shepherd Vessel Unveiled

Martin Sheen has campaigned for 25 years with Sea Shepherd and long-time friend and founder of the movement Captain Paul Watson. These two intrepid warriors have stood shoulder-to-shoulder opposing brutal bludgeoning of Harp seals along Canada's eastern seaboard.

Sheen told me that, "It's a huge honor and privilege to have a research ship named after me. The biggest risk and danger to the world today are plastics in our oceans. The RV Martin Sheen will conduct scientific research on ocean plastics to protect our oceans and all its sealife."

Sheen agreed that it's imperative that all nations globally work hand in hand to prevent over 20 million tons of land-based plastics each year from entering our oceans and being eaten by fish, and suffocating a hundred thousand marine mammals and a million sea birds.

Sheen joins Brigitte Bardot, Bob Barker, Steve Irwin and Sam Simon in an elite class of Hollywood stars, conservationists and television executives who support Sea Shepherd and have vessels named in their honor.

It was a salubrious and jovial Saturday morning along the docks at Marina Del Rey joined by Captain Paul Watson via Skype from Paris, France.

The addition of the RV Martin Sheen to Sea Shepherd's fleet strengthens their research commitment and ability to protect the ailing oceans at a crucial time in the history of the human race.

Here's How You Get To The Real 'Sesame Street'

0

"Can you tell me how to get to "Sesame Street"?

It's undoubtedly one of life's greatest questions. For years, we've asked how to get to "Sesame Street" while singing the theme song, but the location has always remained a mystery ... until now.

Throughout the "Sesame Street" series, savvy viewers have picked up on subtle clues to the areas where the street could reside. It's always been suspected that "Sesame Street" is in New York City, but through clues like zip codes and subway stations, you can theoretically figure out the real neighborhoods that could be home to the street.

In honor of its 45th anniversary, HuffPost Entertainment gathered these clues together, narrowed down the most likely whereabouts of the real street and then reviewed the info with the show's executive producer, Carol-Lynn Parente, to get her take on if "Sesame Street" could possibly be found in one of these locations.

Here's how you get to the most likely locations for "Sesame Street":

Possible Location 1: Astoria, Queens

kaufman

The New York Public Library (NYPL) points out that Queens is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York City and it seems like a great fit for Elmo and the gang. But the strongest evidence that "Sesame Street" is in Astoria, Queens, is that it's actually filmed there.

Filming for the show moved to Queens' Kaufman Astoria Studios in the '90s, so technically directions to the studio tell you how to get to "Sesame Street." In fact, if you click on the lamppost in the interactive map on SesameStreet.org, you'll see directions to "Sesame Street" that would also take you to Astoria.

map

After reviewing the clues that "Sesame Street" is in Queens, Parente reiterated the NYPL's point. "That diversity really does speak to what 'Sesame Street' is," she said.

How to get there

Take the R train to Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens.

Possible Location 2: Lincoln Center

lincoln center

Shortly after the show began, the area became home to the Sesame Workshop offices, the nonprofit organization behind "Sesame Street." Because of this, Parente told HuffPost, "The heart of the show really lives at Lincoln Center."

The neighborhood has gone through some changes since "Sesame Street" first started ("West Side Story" is actually set in the area), but original "Sesame Street" set designer Charles Rosen reportedly used Lincoln Center as inspiration for the look of the show.

big bird

Further solidifying Lincoln Center as a possible location for the street, former mayor Michael Bloomberg temporarily named the corner of 64th and Broadway "Sesame Street" for the show's 40th anniversary.

How to get there

Take the 1 train uptown, toward Van Cortlandt Park. Get off at 66th Street - Lincoln Center.

Possible Location 3: Upper East Side/East Harlem

east side

The 86th Street subway stop is one of the most cited ways to get to "Sesame Street" because of its appearance in the 1978 movie "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street."

86 street

Further evidence: In the episode "Elmo Visits the Firehouse," Engine Company 58/Ladder 26 puts out a fire in Mr. Hooper's store. This engine company serves East Harlem and the north end of Central Park. When considering the subway stop clue, this would again put the street on or near the Upper East Side.

How to get there

Take the S train to Grand Central, transfer to the 4, 5 or 6 to 86th Street.

Possible Location 4: Upper West Side

86west

This location would again be consistent with an 86th Street subway stop. In addition, Victor DiNapoli, who spent more than 30 years as art director for "Sesame Street," reportedly said the show was always supposed to take place on the Upper West Side.

72nd

In an interview with Time Out New York, Napoli also said the subway entrance in the show is modeled after one from the area:

This is a direct copy of the original 72nd Street subway entrance on the Upper West Side ... It’s typical of a time when New York built many of the city’s Carnegie libraries, and it reflects the architecture of those buildings.

Parente offered more evidence in support of this location. "I think from an inspiration of physicality, certainly the Upper West Side. There’s something about the neighborhood people-wise of the Upper West Side that feels like it has the energy of 'Sesame Street,'" she said.

How to get there

Take the 1 train uptown to the 86th Street.

Possible Location 5: 123 Avenue B, Alphabet City

123avenueb

During a talk at New York's Museum of Television and Radio in 1994, "Sesame Street" creator Joan Ganz Cooney revealed that she had originally wanted to name the series "123 Avenue B," which would place the location in Alphabet City, across from Tompkins Square Park, within the East Village. The title was later changed to find a more universal option, as explained by author Michael Davis in "Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street":

It had its supporters ... But just as many argued that the title was precious and provincial. It sounded too much like a show tailored to New York viewers rather than a national audience.

essex

Parente confirmed Alphabet City is a location visited by set designers to get inspiration for the show, and proof of this can be seen in actual stills from the program. For instance, the image above of the "Murray has a Little Lamb" segment was taken at Essex Street, a location near Alphabet City.

How to get there

Take a 2 train down to 14th street, walk through the tunnel to the 6th Ave and grab a Brooklyn bound L train. Get off at First Avenue and walk to Avenue B.

So now can you tell me how to get to "Sesame Street"?

sesame street

Parente told HuffPost that one of the reasons the show hasn't revealed an actual location of "Sesame Street" is because it's meant for kids everywhere to identify with; as such, despite some clues, nothing can necessarily be verified. But she continued to say that the staff visits various locations to get inspiration for the show, drawing some of its strongest influence from the neighborhoods throughout New York City.

"I would say that’s pretty much all the facts you could manufacture for figuring out the mystery," Parente said. "We have sort of played with it over the years, which you see in the evidence you’ve gathered. You pretty much hit every neighborhood. We went to Alphabet City, we go to the Upper East side, Spanish Harlem, even Downtown."

Some of the other clues "Sesame Street" has played with include showing the Brooklyn Bridge in one of the show's openings and even sneaking in various New York zip codes, such as 10123 in "The Street We Live On," the 35th anniversary episode:

sesame
10123 is in Midtown.

After reviewing all the evidence, HuffPost finally asked Parente, "Can you tell me how to get to 'Sesame Street?'"

Parente's response: "With a lot of hard work and good intentions."

So there you have it, kids. You finally know ...

Lorde's 'Royals' Banned From San Francisco Airwaves Until After World Series

And they'll never play "Royals," royals. Or at least they won't till the World Series is over.

Two San Francisco radio stations have benched Lorde's chart-topping single from their airwaves until either the Giants or the Kansas City Royals win the World Series, per KMBC.com. The two teams will play Game 1 of the Series on Oct. 21.

In response to the ban, Kansas City radio station 99.7 The Point plans to play "Royals" once every hour from 7. a.m. to 7. p.m. the day of the opener.

"You might try to stop the #Royals on your airwaves... but we'll just pump 'em up!" the station wrote on their Facebook page.

Lorde was inspired to pen her song's unforgettable refrain after seeing a 1976 photo of then-Kansas City third baseman George Brett in an old National Geographic magazine, "Royals" emblazoned in blue across his chest.

Earlier this year, to commemorate the teenage singer-songwriter's success, Brett sent her a special Royals jersey. He signed it with the note, "You are Royal to me."
