Apparently one fun-filled weekend of music, parties and over-the-top bohemian outfits wasn't enough for Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

The sisters attended the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., after just rocking out for three days straight last weekend. This time around, they brought some of their other friends, including famous BFF Jaden Smith.

Kendall, 18, opted to leave her humongous nose ring at home and wore a green shirt and cut-off white shorts while Kylie, 16, donned a big floppy hat and a rock 'n' roll t-shirt adorned with bird feathers. (Yes, real feathers.)

Also in attendance for back-to-back weekends was Vanessa Hudgens, who slipped into a tiny bra-top and high-waisted skirt for round two of festiviites.

Oh, the fabulous life of a young star.

Most people tend to cover up or at least throw on a cardigan when going to visit their grandma, but Kim Kardashian is not most people.

The 33-year-old reality star didn't let her lunch at with her maternal grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, keep her from embracing her signature sexy style on April 18.

Photographers spotted the pair as they were leaving Maria's Restaurant, and Kardashian -- whose wedding to Kanye West is almost a month away -- was all smiles in a low-cut light pink jumpsuit, with a sheer back that exposed her bra.

Former "Boy Meets World" star Maitland Ward was surprised to learn that one little dress could cause such a commotion.

The 37-year-old actress best known for her role as Rachel McGuire on the beloved ABC sitcom got people talking this week when she wore a sheer black dress that made it clear exactly what she wasn't wearing underneath, to the Los Angeles premiere of "A Haunted House 2."

Ward, whose last role was a guest spot on "Rules of Engagement" in 2007, is only slightly baffled by all the attention her revealing dress has garnered. "I have been bombarded with messages, press, questions today about THAT DRESS last night. Had no idea it would cause such a stir... Well, maybe I did a little," she wrote on Instagram on April 17.

Kristen Bell was her usual wonderful, charming self during her appearance on "The Ellen Show" on Friday, April 18.

The 33-year-old's visit was nothing short of delightful as she revealed that her 1-year-old daughter Lincoln can say a total of three words, including "boobies."

"She says, 'Mama,' 'Dada,' and tries to say 'boobies,' which sometimes comes out, which is really cute," Bell told host Ellen DeGeneres. "For her [it's a necessary word] because all day she looks at me and ... wants milk. I'm a walking food truck."

Bell, who earlier in the segment said she would definitely be on board if Disney makes a sequel to "Frozen," also demonstrated her daughter's awesome dance moves. Just watch.

Quentin Tarantino Continues Work On 'Hateful Eight,' Despite Having His Feelings Hurt

When Quentin Tarantino's "Hateful Eight" script leaked back in January, he said he had "no desire to make it" and told Deadline that he was "very, very depressed." Tarantino had given the "first draft" to a mere six people, and felt intensely betrayed by the leak, further slamming Gawker with a lawsuit, after they published the entire script online.

Now, after whatever sort of grieving process a "very, very depressed" Tarantino must go through, he seems to have reconsidered. On Saturday, Film Independent held a staged reading at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, where Tarantino said he is working on second and third drafts.

"This is the first draft," he clarified for the 1200-person audience, presumably in the voice of a third grader who is too nervous to enter a school-wide poetry contest.

According to Variety (and our most basic assumptions), the reading introduced Samuel L. Jackson in the role of Major Marquis Warren. Other actors included Bruce Dern as Confederate General Smithers, Kurt Russell as a bounty hunter named John Ruth and Amber Tamblyn as his prisoner Daisy Domergue, among others.

"We’ve been rehearsing this for the last 3 days and we’re not bad,” Tarantino said beforehand, while slowly regaining confidence in himself and his work.

Meanwhile, the Gawker trial date is set for January 27, 2015. No word if any of the site's writers will be allowed to attend the film once it emerges in final draft form.

Stars Shake Things Up With Their Signature Looks On This Week's Best & Worst Beauty List

Last week, celebrities took bold risks with their hair and makeup. While some stars like Kate Walsh and Jennifer Garner blew our minds, others just left us scratching our heads. (Yeah, we're still not sure what Katy Perry was thinking when she dyed her hair green.) But it looks like more stars are taking Perry's lead and switching things up in the beauty department.

Brandy ditched her signature box braids for an Afro hairstyle. Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley appears to be having some fun experimenting with wearing more makeup these days. And we've decided to give Leighton Meester a pass for her ombre hair because we can't deny how stunning it is.

See these examples of gorgeous hair and makeup below (plus some not-so-pretty looks).

BEST: Brandy

brandy

Brandy's big and beautiful 'fro frames her face perfectly. And it doesn't hurt that the singer/actress has some of the best brows in Hollywood.

BEST: Shailene Woodley

The "Divergent" star dazzled on the 2014 MTV Movie Awards red carpet with slicked-back hair, luminous skin and rosy lips. Those few strokes of mascara and black eyeliner is what really makes her eyes pop.

BEST: Rita Ora

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's why we'll never grow tired of Ora's side-swept waves, bold brows, smokey eye makeup and matte red lips.

BEST: Leighton Meester

"The Gossip Girl" actress' ombre locks are the only acceptable version of 'do in 2014.

BEST: Camilla Belle

camilla belle

Belle perfects festival beauty with her shoulder-length haircut, well-groomed brows and peachy-pink lips.

WORST: Gemma Arterton

gemma arterton

This helmet hair isn't something that we'd expect to see on a Bond girl. The thick and heavy hairstyle practically covers up Arterton's beautiful freckles.

WORST: Giuliana Rancic

giuliana rancic

It looks like Rancic rolled around in a tub filled with sunless tanner. Her unnatural orange glow competes with her bronze hair color and neutral eyeshadow.

WORST: Pia Mia

Take your lavender bandana, blue contact lenses and oversized chain hoop earrings and return them to the costume store that sold them to you, Pia.

WORST: Kendall Jenner

We have a strong feeling that Jenner stuck this earring (there's no way that's a nose ring) onto her face just so we'd talk about her.

WORST: Monique

Snooki comparisons aside, this young lady's red hair, red brows and sea green eyeshadow is just a catastrophe.

Jack White Records, Releases Single In Hours For Record Store Day 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Jack White played his new single "Lazaretto" for a couple of hundred fans on Record Store Day and four hours later a copy of the performance was available on a limited run of vinyl.

The singer and guitarist called it the "world's fastest-released record." But don't look for it in the Guinness World Record Book, as White admitted he doesn't know if anyone else has attempted the feat. The stunt was a promotion for Record Store Day and his upcoming album, "Lazaretto."

White performed Saturday morning at his Third Man Records label. As he was playing, fans could watch on television the acetate record being cut in a room behind the stage. After the title song from the upcoming album, he also recorded a cover of Elvis Presley's "Power of My Love," which was the B-side on the record. The master was then hustled over to the United Record Pressing plant, also in Nashville.

After the recording was finished, White played a short set of fan favorites, including "Hotel Yorba," along with songs from his new album, which will be released in June. White will be touring this summer, including headlining gigs at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, and the Glastonbury Festival in England.

White said he was worried about so many things that could have gone wrong in the recording or pressing process that would have stalled the record.

"We had a horrible moment last night about 11 p.m. where the record cutter, the cutting mechanism blew up," White said. "So the only other cutter we had that we could use that was in town was a mono head, so we actually cut this single in mono, which I think is actually even cooler than the way we were gonna do it."

Three hours and fifty-five minutes after the performance, White was back at the store, waving high over his head the first copies of the vinyl, which were sold to eager fans who were waiting in line.

"I think for a while there a few years ago it was starting to become a joke in music that record stores don't exist anymore," White said. "But I think the people that have always been real music lovers have always been there."

White, who is behind such bands as The White Stripes, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs, also works as a producer and heads Third Man Records label. He said people are coming back around to buying music from record stores.

"Thank the mom-and-pop, brick-and-mortar record stores all these years for staying alive, the ones that could," White said. "Now it's bigger than ever. Every neighborhood wants to have one."

Animal Welfare Activists Picket Liam Neeson's NYC Home Over Carriage Horse Issue

$

NEW YORK (AP) — Animal welfare activists picketing Liam Neeson's home on Saturday said they don't agree with him that the city's carriage horses should keep working.

Neeson didn't appear as about 50 demonstrators filled the sidewalk in front of his apartment building on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Police watched, and doormen photographed protesters hoisting signs with such slogans as "Liam Neeson: Stop Supporting Cruelty!" and "Worked to Death!" with an image of a dead horse in a park. Holding the second sign was Peter Wood, an animal protection investigator for various organizations that say it's cruel for the horses to be subjected to traffic, pollution and possible accidents.

"It's 2014, not 1914. It's time for a change," said Wood, who lives in Manhattan.

"Horses don't belong in traffic, surrounded by buses. They don't belong in the city; it's outdated, it's cruel," he said, adding, "Life attached to a carriage with a poop bag attached to your rear end — that's no life."

Neeson, whose movies include "Schindler's List," ''Taken" and "Non-Stop," is a vocal supporter of the city's carriage horses, which are kept in stables he toured recently with lawmakers. He says the horses are not being mistreated.

"It has been my experience, always, that horses, much like humans, are at their happiest and healthiest when working," Neeson wrote in an April 14 editorial in The New York Times.

He called the horse carriage trade a "humane industry that is well regulated by New York City's Departments of Health and Mental Hygiene and Consumer Affairs."

Neeson said the city's horse-drawn carriages have made an estimated 6 million trips in traffic in the past 30 years, most ending up in Central Park. Four horses have been killed in collisions with motor vehicles, with no human fatalities.

"In contrast to the terrible toll of traffic accidents generally on New Yorkers," Neeson wrote, "the carriage industry has a remarkable safety record."

His publicist declined to comment on Saturday's protest.

The City Council must vote on the issue, but legislation has yet to emerge.

Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Democrat, has pledged to ban the carriages and replace them with electric vintage-style cars, commissioned by a group called NYCLASS.

On Saturday, NYCLASS' members joined protesters from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. They noted that the horse-drawn carriage trade was ended in at least three other cities: London in 1947, Paris in 1965 and Toronto in 1998.

The electric vehicle was unveiled several days ago at the New York International Auto Show. But Neeson said it can't replace the horse-drawn carriages, which he calls a "signature element of New York's culture and history."

Here Is A Photo Of Mariah Carey Dressed As A Bunny And Using Nick Cannon As Furniture

Behold, the only Easter-themed photo more disheartening than a mural of a crucified Kanye West. Indeed, that below is Mariah Carey and her manservant husband, dressed as massive bunnies, with the latter being used as furniture.

Cannon uploaded the photo on Good Friday, with the caption "#EasyerBunnyFresh #GoodFriday," despite the fact that the photo is from last year and does not appear to have been a good Friday for anyone involved.

On Easter of 2013, Carey shared the photo, writing "Happy Easter dahhlings...I finally caught the Easter bunny," thus, officially winning the awards for both Most Awkward Holiday Photo and Most Confused About Easter Traditions.

Now, the photo has been resurrected (no pun intended) by Cannon in what we can only assume is a cry for help and/or frustration that no one has come to rescue him since the posting of this other photo, in which he is being used as a piano stool.

Max Greenfield Talks 'About Alex' And His 'Confidence-Building' Appearance On 'The O.C.'

$

In person, Max Greenfield is engaging, chatty and often hilarious. Here, in New York, we'd say that he likes to schmooze. The 33-year-old actor has shot to fame over the last three years by playing Schmidt on the Fox series "New Girl," and he's the kind of person fans hope all their favorite actors are in real life: appreciative, but good-humored about success.

Thus far, Greenfield has spent the bulk of his career on television. Before "New Girl," there were roles on "Ugly Betty," "Veronica Mars," "Greek," that reboot of "Melrose Place" and even "The O.C." This year, though, he's becoming a movie star: In addition to a cameo appearance in the "Veronica Mars" movie, Greenfield has featured roles in David Wain's new comedy, "They Came Together" (out this summer), and the Tribeca Film Festival debut, "About Alex." Directed by Jesse Zwick, that film is a spin on '80s ensemble dramas such as "The Big Chill": Following a suicide attempt by the title character (Jason Ritter), a group of college friends (Greenfield, Aubrey Plaza, Nate Parker, Max Minghella, Maggie Grace) reunite after years apart for a weekend of memories, drinking and drama. Greenfield plays Josh, the cantankerous malcontent of the group, who thinks society is headed to hell on an express train (don't even think about getting him started on social media). As Josh jokes during one of the film's group scenes, he hates nostalgia, can't stand the present and thinks the future looks even worse.

HuffPost Entertainment spoke to Greenfield following the Tribeca premiere of "About Alex." An edited transcript of our conversation is below.

Max Greenfield: I follow the HuffPost on Twitter.

That's good. You're very funny on Twitter.
I try to not dive into anything that I'm unqualified to talk about. As many seem to do. I mean, what the fuck? Some people comment on shit and it's like ... there's something that takes away from the importance of the issue and whatever point you're trying to make by putting it in 140 characters on Twitter. Cut it out.

It's good for jokes.
I'll just do jokes on there, and then every once in a while if someone dies who I love, I'll just throw in [a comment]. What that does though, you hope -- especially because we have all these young fans -- is encourage people to then go, "I want to know who Phil Hartman is. I don't know who that is, let me look him up." You should fucking know who Phil Hartman is, children! I don't think the fucking "Glee" audience knows who Phil Hartman is. It drives me nuts.

All this social media discussion is a good entry into your new film, "About Alex," which includes a lot of opinions about how Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are hurting interpersonal relationships.
That's great. I was waiting for that segue. I knew it was coming. Had you missed it, I would have been like ...

So where do you stand on this: Is social media a problem?
There's a very realistic element to it that's I think relevant to the movie, where you follow your friends on there, and because of that you think you have some sort of connection to them. You think, "They must be fine. Look at them off in Disneyland! Look at the wonderful pictures on Facebook, all 98 of them." Then there's the other thing, where you see these snapshots of people on Instagram and you start judging their lives. Like, "Stay out of the fucking sun, man! Jesus. You're just asking for skin cancer."

Where social media is taking us? I think, like anything powerful, there are extreme advantages and positives to social media. Endless. With that, comes extreme negatives. This movie gives us an opportunity to wave our finger at all the negative aspects of it, and be like, "Blah blah blah." But how about we choose not to do that, and look at it. These things are extremely positive tools that have the ability to bring us all together.

Or provide information. If two people looked up Phil Hartman because you tweeted about him, that's a good thing.
Totally. 100 percent. I agree.

What was it about doing this movie that interested you?
We do the show for eight months and then we have a four-month hiatus. So scheduling is everything. I'm also not in a place where I can just go pick and choose parts. It has to be a nice marriage where it's something I would want to do, and then a movie that would want me to do it. I remember reading a bunch of scripts previous to reading this one that were just awful. I knew I wanted to do something, but I was not going to go do some insanity. This was so different, though, and I really liked it. I had known there were a couple of other people in the mix. I think Nate Parker was set already. I'm a huge fan of his. He's so great, and Nate is such a different actor than I am -- we have such different backgrounds, and our careers are in different spots. I thought it would be very interesting. There were a lot of positives to working with him. I went and auditioned, and I supposed it went well.

You're in the movie, so yes.
Then I met with Jesse and we talked. At that point, some other actors had come on, and it felt like this was becoming a real cast of people who I was fans of and wanted to work with.

There's so much chemistry between the cast. You guys all seem to like each other, and that really helps the finished product.
This is a tough movie to shoot, just because of the amount of coverage you had to do. A lot of the group scenes seemed endless. You have one camera because you don't have any money. You're doing these same scenes over and over and over again. Forget about liking them, you just want to go in with a bunch of people who are seasoned and professional and just know the etiquette in those scenes; who know that this is not about them, but us as a group. I think somewhere within the first week or so, when we realized who were dealing with -- Jesse was a great leader, and he seemed to have control of the situation; we didn't really have any problems in the cast -- it was like, "Oh, now we can just have fun." It really was a fantastic group of actors. They just got it, and were all respectful of one another. I think that allowed the movie to have those extra moments, where you needed them as friends for the film to work, as opposed to just going from scene to scene.

Your character here is different from what you do on "New Girl." Do you actively try to find roles that aren't like Schmidt?
No. I think you look for what's good and what you want to be a part of. Here's an example: After the first season of "New Girl," I had gotten a couple of offers on movies and I was not too thrilled with any of them. Some of them were like different versions of "New Girl." Then I read "They Came Together." David Wain and I have the same agents, and I called them and said I would do a line in this movie as opposed to any of the other movies I was being offered. After begging, they agreed it was a good idea to have me maybe in the movie. I remember that was one where it was a full-court press. Sometimes, something will come around like that. I don't know that I've ever felt that way about a project other than "They Came Together." I'm doing another movie with Michael Showalter this summer. He'll be directing. I couldn't be more excited. Those guys -- I don't know what it says about me, but I feel like their tone is exactly where I want to live comedically and dramatically. I don't know! I just feel really at home inside their world.

Actors clearly do both now, but do you want to make more movies in the future or stay on television?
I just want to continue doing things. I haven't done anything yet where I've been like, "This was a mistake." I feel like I'm really lucky in that respect. I want to continue doing that. I'm sure, eventually, I'm going to have that experience, and it's going to be terrible, but I want to try to prolong this reality for as long as I can.

The first time I ever saw you was as Young Sandy Cohen on "The O.C."
Good casting, right?

Great casting! Did you ever meet Peter Gallagher?
I met him once, and I was like, "Hey, man, I played the young you!" He did, like, one of these: "... You did." I don't think he gave a shit. I suppose if someone played the young me, I probably wouldn't give a fuck either.

Oddly enough, the writer of that episode of "The O.C." was a woman named J.J. Philbin, and J.J. works on our show now. We both put it together somewhere in the middle of season one. We were like, "Holy shit."

What do you remember about doing that episode?
It was actually a transitional moment in my career. I hadn't worked in a while. I had taken some real time off. Not that I was taking time off from much, but things weren't working and I had done a show for The WB that got canceled. I was just like, "What the fuck am I doing?" I didn't know where I should be. It was a really tough moment for me. So I took a break for about a year or more, and I started to slowly come back into acting. "The O.C." was my first job after that. I remember that it was quick and easy. Then the way they had cut it together, and with the music they chose, it ended up being a really nice scene. It was one that my mom loved. But I remember thinking, "Oh, I feel like I'm okay in this. I like this scene. I like what they did with it." It was a very big confidence-building moment for me.

It really was a great show.
Great show.

Chris Messina On The Criticism 'The Mindy Project' Wouldn't Get If It Was 'A Man's Show'

If you didn't think Chris Messina was the most adorable guy on the planet before, you probably will now.

The "Mindy Project" actor joined HuffPost Live on Friday to offer a genuine apology for breaking Mindy Lahiri's heart, give insight as to what we can expect for the rest of the season, and talk about how pretty he thinks his co-star is.

"I apologize to the fans but there's a lot of good stuff to come," he told host Ricky Camilleri. "You get to see my character feel terrible and find his way back to Mindy."

Camilleri also brought up a common critique of "The Mindy Project" -- that Mindy's love interests are "too attractive." Messina explained that he finds that particular criticism to be gendered.

"I think Mindy Kaling's beautiful," he said, "and why not have some handsome guys with her? And I agree -- if it was a man's show [this wouldn't be an issue]."

Chris Messina's directorial debut, "Alex of Venice" premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, April 19th.

Courtney Love: I Was A 'Fag Hag,' Gays Taught Me How To Be A Rock Star

Courtney Love opened up this week about the influence of her gay friends on her development as a rock star, as well as her status as a gay icon.

Speaking to Gay Times magazine, and as reported by Contact Music, the lead singer of Hole said, "When I was a kid I was definitely what you would call a fag hag because that's how I learned to dress and be extrovert and walk into a room."

She also stated that her "freshman year of learning how to be a rock star was just hanging around drag queens.."

This isn't the first time that Love has acknowledged the impact of gay individuals on her career and the large percentage of gay men that make up her fan base. She previously told Vanity Fair that, "My homos -- they stick by me through thick and thin." She also told The Rainbow Times last summer that she needs her gay fans at her performances, stating that "If I don’t have the gays, I just go nuts, because they always know every word and they’re the best core audience you can have."

Love also addressed her status as a gay icon in her Gay Times magazine interview, claiming that longevity with that tile is about "surviving. It has to be. Surviving, and also the ability to do drag, to clean up nice. I might look like s**t this morning, but you know, I clean up nice."

Love recently confirmed that fans can expect a Hole reunion next month, with both new music and a tour.

Celebrities Mourn Peaches Geldof At Funeral In Kent

Loved ones gathered to mourn Peaches Geldof on Monday, April 21, at a private funeral in Kent, England.

Geldof's funeral was held at the St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, the same church where the funeral for her mother, Paula Yates, was held in 2000 after she died of a heroin overdose, the BBC notes. It is also where Geldof married musician Tom Cohen in 2012.

Supermodel Kate Moss, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman were among the celebrities who paid their respects at the ceremony for the 25-year-old, the BBC reports. Bono and Annie Lennox were also expected to attend, according to the Independent.

A hearse carried a blue coffin painted with images of Geldof, Cohen, their two children and dogs. Her ashes are expected to be scattered in the garden of Sir Bob's Davington Priory country estate, according to the BBC.

Geldof was found dead in her Kent home on April 7. An autopsy performed earlier this month failed to provide a cause of death. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months.

Neil Patrick Harris Heckles Fan At 'Hedwig' Performance: 'I'm Doing Something Up Here, Motherf**ker'

Neil Patrick Harris is making headlines for allegedly heckling an overzealous fan during a performance of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" on Broadway, but the actor insists the incident was part of the act.

As Page Six and Entertainment Weekly are reporting, Harris stayed in character in the midst of one performance after a female fan yelled out, "I love you, Neil!"

Harris' response: “I’m doing something up here, motherf**ker!”

The actor took to Twitter shortly after news of the so-called outburst broke:

Meanwhile, a representative for Harris told GossipCop that the actor's response was more appropriate in full context.

“When the fan initially yelled, ‘I love you, Neil,’ Neil (as Hedwig) then responded, ‘Who’s Neil? I’m not Neil.’ He then looked over at Yitzhak (played by Lena Hall) and said, ‘Are you Neil? You better not be Neil’ followed by Hedwig then offering the quote in question.”

“The response to the fan yelling was actually done in character — Neil as Hedwig, not as though Neil stopped the show to respond out of character,” the rep added.

Harris's remarks have nonetheless drawn comparisons to Patti LuPone and Hugh Jackman, both of whom have stopped mid-performance to address fans caught using cameras and cell phones during Broadway shows.
