It's a family affair!

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and baby North headed out in New York City last night (Nov. 22) for a dinner date for three. Kardashian pushed her daughter in a stroller before West showed off his paternal side and carried the tiny tot in her car seat.

Kardashian looked effortlessly chic in grey jeans, a t-shirt and a leather jacket while West rocked jeans, a white tee and a beige trench coat.

The trio has been spending time in the Big Apple while West is on his Yeezus tour. He performed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn earlier this week and is set to rock Madison Square Garden tonight (Nov. 23) and Sunday night.

Miley Cyrus Made GQ's Least Influential Celebrities Of 2013 List

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dennis Rodman is at the top of a list no one wants to be on. He's been named GQ's No. 1 least influential celebrity of 2013.

The 52-year-old former basketball player who has visited Kim Jong Un in North Korea was selected as the top pick in the magazine's third annual list of the least influential celebrities, which also includes twerking pop star Miley Cyrus, President Barack Obama, and celebrity chef Paula Deen. GQ called Rodman a "Q-list celebrity willing to commit borderline treason just to hang out with a dictator who himself aspires to be a Q-list celebrity." Rodman said this week he's preparing to return to North Korea late next month for an exhibition basketball tour.

Deen, whose cooking empire imploded this year after she admitted to having used the N-word to describe black employees, came in at No. 2 on the list behind Rodman, while former sexting U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner took the No. 3 spot.

"He's the saddest lecher in American politics, and that's saying something, because they're all lechers," the magazine said.

Cyrus, who garnered attention at this year's MTV Video Music Awards for her provocative performance with a foam finger, won the No. 6 position for "basically trying every inane strategy she could think of to rile up America's few remaining pearl clutchers." The magazine noted "what's sad is that it totally worked."

Obama came in at No. 17 because "nothing gets done."

Other celebrities deemed non-influential include Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ryan Reynolds and Will Smith.

'The Blacklist' Star Ryan Eggold On Tom's Big Secrets & What's Ahead

Ryan Eggold really doesn't want to spoil "The Blacklist" for you.

On "The Blacklist," Eggold plays Tom, the nice-but-maybe-kind-of-murdery husband to main character Liz (Megan Boone). It's one of the biggest hits of the year and shows no sign of slowing down. While Season 2 has yet to get the green light, Eggold seems to know exactly where "The Blacklist" is heading. The actor stopped by The Huffington Post office to talk about playing a lurky maybe-killer, Tom's sex life and some major spoilers regarding the upcoming Nov. 25 episode.

NOTE: Do not read if you are not caught up on "The Blacklist" Season 1.

I'm all caught up and let's be real: Everything's crazy.
Yeah. It’s getting crazy. The week before last that was when Liz’s dad died, right?

Yes, and your first scene with James Spader.
That was awesome. Working with him was fantastic. He’s supremely professional and amazingly gifted, obviously. He’s just a very supportive actor. He knows what he wants to happen and he likes to have a dialogue with you. He gives a lot and is very generous. Not a lot of number ones are like that. Then, I enjoyed seeing the scene because it was an interesting experience to play a number of possibilities in that scene.

I was under the impression before the scene that you would completely know who he was just on sight.
Because of Liz?

Yes. Maybe she showed him pictures or something, but you had no idea.
Liz doesn’t share her work with me at all and I think Red’s one of those behind-the-scenes figures. So, Tom as a school teacher has no idea who he is. But if there is some other person lurking inside that’s a whole other story.

I assume you know.
I just got the goods. When we shot that scene I truly didn’t know where they were going to go with Tom, but I just got a great scoop from the writers and they told me some ideas and they’re awesome. They’re very long term and they’re very ever-changing.

What can you tell us about Monday’s (Nov. 25) episode?
Monday is [executive producer] Joe Carnahan’s episode, I believe.

The promos are very dramatic. Every commercial says this episode is the one we’ve been waiting for.
The Blacklister is amazing, but more so what’s important about this episode is the relationship between Red and Ressler [Diego Klattenhoff] because they go through a crazy experience.

That’s good because I think Ressler’s been needing more ground to stand on.
Totally. This episode will definitely change Diego’s character permanently, which is awesome. [Ed note: At this time in the interview, we watched the above trailer for next week’s episode] “The episode that will change your life forever! You’ll never be the same. You’ll never love again!” Joe Carnahan directed our pilot and he directed this one and he wrote it. Joe Carnahan is just a phenomenal beast of a talent and when I read the episode I literally freaked out and then I was like, “Oh, this episode is going to be amazing.” They shot it and it’s awesome. Tom is unfortunately doing a bit of his background Tom thing like, “Hey babe, you alright?”

Like, “Where’s our baby?”
Yeah, like, [Eggold makes baby noises], "Wanna have a baby? I’ll just be in here drinking coffee.” Poor Tom. Locked in the kitchen with coffee. But it’s all about the FBI center and what happens and it’s sort of a close call for a lot of them in terms of you know, losing a lot.

Thinking long term about "The Blacklist," earlier you said Season 2 starts shooting next July.
Which is not official by the way.

Is that off the record?
Well, eh … I don’t want to be presumptuous but I don’t know. Yeah, I guess whatever. There’s going to be a Season 2.

So thinking long-term people have been really hyping this show as the No. 1 fall show. How has that affected you?
When I walk down the street, people shout at me, “Hey man, are you bad?!” I’m like, “It’s cool, man.” It’s really fun. People like the show. It’s fun to be a part of a show that people have passionate opinions about. Some people think Tom’s this, some people think Tom’s that.

It’s also interesting because you have had this background role, but you’re the big mystery.
He’s sort of the link between everything. I think he’s an important character, too. What’s interesting about our show is that it does a very good job of balancing the procedural element that’s self-contained in an episode and the long form story element that you might get on “Homeland,” which kicks ass, so I think Tom in that sense is part of our longer story.

Do you think Tom has other lovers like Gina?
Obviously I can’t say, but I know … I wonder if I can say this. I think I can say this. Please print that I’m not sure if I can say this! There is a new girl coming on the show who’s not Gina. But I’ve heard that Gina might come back, on a side note. But there’s a new girl coming on the show that I’m going to interact with -- this is so delicate! -- that will lead to some answers about who Tom is.

That is vague enough.
So vague! It’s so hard doing interviews because I’m like, “He’s a guy in the world. He has legs?” Once some cats are out of some bags, maybe. But the catch of our show is that there’s always mystery. Even when we answer these questions, the next episode takes a turn, which is fun.

ryan eggold

I’m fascinated by the relationship between Liz and Red. I think he’s her father, but I know other people don’t.
People argue over it. But I think a lot of people think that.

Especially after last episode.
I think you can expect the answer to be more complicated than him being just her father.

Are you saying that’s true?
No. No, I’m not.

I was also a huge fan of "90210."
Nice. "90210" was three years of goodness.

You had this good guy-gone bad thing that seems to be happening on “The Blacklist” also.
I never thought of that. Maybe I’m just good and bad. Maybe every role I get cast in is like a sweet, nice role and then I just fight to make it horribly dark. I think that come Season 2 of “The Blacklist” as it starts to progress, there’s going to be room for more depth because the beginning has to be about those questions. When we start answering those, things start happening like what happens to Diego’s character on Monday. There will be things that we can’t come back from, things that we can’t change. As we go further we can continue to dig deeper under the surface of things and that’s what I think is fun about it.

Catch "The Blacklist" on Mondays at 10 pm EST on NBC.

Stars Show Us How To Embrace Messy Hair In This Week's Best & Worst Beauty (PHOTOS)

We spend a lot of time oohing and ahing over the perfectly polished hairstyles celebs wear on the red carpet. But this week, we were left stunned by messy hair.

Karolina Kurkova attended a celebration for the 50th anniversary of the Pirelli Calendar sporting a wispy low ponytail, and Jennifer Lawrence rocked her new pixie haircut with a punkish edge. But not everyone was successful at making messy hair look effortless. (We're looking at you, Pixie Lott!)

Check out these messy hairdos below (plus more statement-making beauty looks) and tell us what you think.

BEST: Jennifer Lawrence

jennifer lawrence

You may not be feeling Lawrence's much-shorter strands, but she sure is having fun with it. The "Hunger Games" star nailed this '80s-inspired look with her boyish pixie, dark brows, smokey eye makeup and bright pink lipstick.

BEST: Shay Mitchell

shay mitchell

THIS is why the "Pretty Little Liars" actress scored a hair contract with Pantene. Mitchell works her signature glossy waves with groomed brows, black liquid liner and matte red lips. Simply sophisticated.

BEST: Karolina Kurkova

karolina kurkova

We'd like to thank the Czech model and actress for proving that messy hair can be sexy, too. Her platinum blonde locks fall loosely out of her ponytail, framing her gorgeous skin and red pout.

BEST: Garcelle Beauvais

garcelle beauvais

Beauvais' style keeps getting better with age. This shoulder-skimming haircut is the perfect length to go with this strapless dress, and it doesn't hurt that her jet black hair color doesn't look dull. The 46-year-old actress' purple smokey lids and raspberry lip gloss add the finishing touch.

BEST: Kristen Bell

kristen bell

The newlywed is positively glowing! So naturally she kept her hair and makeup simple by wearing slightly tousled waves, lash-thickening mascara and coral lipstick.

WORST: Jena Malone

jena malone

Between her unflattering hair color, too dark and too thick eyebrows and dated lip gloss, there really isn't much salvageable here. May we recommend a sleek chignon and softer makeup for your next red carpet appearance, Jena?

WORST: Ke$ha

kesha

Ke$ha still misses the mark even when in costume (or at least that's what we're calling this). The beaded hair jewels, "Black Swan"-esque eye makeup and ill-placed gold glitter look like items she found in the Halloween sale section at the drugstore.

WORST: Brandi Cyrus

brandi cyrus

Yes, this is Miley Cyrus' little sister. And yes, she has greasy hair, unkempt eyebrows and spidery false eyelashes on the red carpet.

WORST: Pixie Lott

pixie lott

The English singer-songwriter's lopsided beehive hairstyle, thick black eyeliner and frosted pink cheeks and lipstick reminds us of an old Barbie doll we didn't treat with care.

WORST: Ashlee Simpson

ashlee simpson

The too-fake-to-fake-it hair is really what kept Simpson off of the best beauty list. Her side-swept curls are practically taking over her face and distracting from her pretty eye makeup.

2013 American Music Awards To Feature Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus

$

Katy Perry thinks most awards shows are fun, but she especially loves the American Music Awards.

Perry says the Dick Clark-created show "is about serious musicians and their art," and she's thrilled to open the live ABC broadcast Sunday night with her latest single. Three hours after Perry opens the show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Miley Cyrus will close things down. And in between, most of the year's top performers are scheduled to take the AMA stage.

As 2013 nears an end, the question is how can these acts distinguish themselves in an especially memorable year that's included some brinksmanship and plenty of skin?

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are the fan-voted show's top nominees with six, while Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake have five apiece. Pitbull hosts.

'SNL' Scorecard: Josh Hutcherson Is Offered Up As A Serviceable Tribute

$
0
0
Josh Hutcherson as an “SNL” host was … serviceable. He certainly wasn’t great -- I’m not sure he brought really anything special to the table except having a nice attitude about the whole thing -- but, at the same time, he didn’t get in the way.

Hutcherson just kind of blended in to his surroundings until the show was over (much like Peeta in the first “Hunger Games” movie, really). And, honestly, I’d take this any week over a host who makes the whole proceedings about him or her. (I don’t think we have to mention any names here.)

Join me, if you will. For this week’s edition of the SNL Scorecard:

(Also: I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the work of Chris Harnick who gets up every Sunday to edit these posts and who is now moving on to bigger and better things. Anyway, expect more typos in the future.)

Sketch of the Night

”Office Boss” (Beck Bennett, Josh Hutcherson, Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, Vanessa Bayer) I’m under the impression that Beck Bennett used this adult baby character as his audition and that would make perfect sense. And it’s nice that he finally got to do it on the show. And there’s no way that we won’t be seeing this as a recurring character in the future. I mean, with Bennett’s deep, monotone voice, this is near impossible not to laugh at.

Score: 8.0

The Good

”’80s Party” (Vanessa Bayer, Josh Hutcherson, Ensemble) My least favorite part of this sketch was the fact the punchline was Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl.” After basing an entire sketch on a known, but certainly not overplayed song from The Outfield’s “Play Deep” album (“Your Love” peaked at number seven on the Hot 100), the punchline of the sketch turns out to be the most overplayed, perhaps widely known song from the entire decade of the 1980s. I can only guess this came down to “Well, we need to play something else at the end and the most obvious choice was used. Also, I wish Josh Hutcherson knew the lyrics to "Your Love" because his lip-synching was pretty lousy. Alas. Still, hey. “SNL” based an entire sketch on The Outfield’s “Your Love.”

(Due to song rights issues, this sketch isn't online.)

Score: 7.8

”Dancing” (Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett) I’m glad that Mooney and Bennett are getting this kind of stuff on the air. And Mooney is quietly having a pretty nice rookie season -- I say “quietly” because his stuff is airing deeper into the show and isn’t quite getting the recognition it deserves.

Score: 7.5

”Matchbox 3” (Jay Pharoah, Kenan Thompson, Josh Hutcherson, John Milhiser) I honestly wonder if this is funny to anyone who doesn’t live in New York City. Perhaps this kind of sketch falls on deaf ears much like my disdain for “The Californians.” Regardless, I do live in New York City and this was pretty dead on stuff -- especially when subway performers try to do their act during rush hour, it really does wind up being something kind of like this.

Score: 7.2

”Bugs” (Mike O’Brien, Josh Hutcherson) Mike O’Brien: What a weirdo. I mean that in the most positive way possible. I honestly could watch a 30 minute show of Mike O’Brien talking to bugs. (OK, yes, that last statement might be hyperbolic -- but not counting “Parks & Rec,” have you actually seen NBC’s primetime lineup? I feel “Mike O’Brien Talks To Bugs” would do quite well in comparison.)

Score: 6.5

”Josh Hutcherson Monologue” (Josh Hutcherson, Kate McKinnon, Noel Wells, Cecily Strong, Vanessa Bayer, Kenan Thompson, Bobby Moynihan) Well, he seems nice. And the “easily injured” joke was solid. Yeah, yeah, the whole “Hunger Games” theme was a bit convoluted, but we couldn’t have an entire show without some mention of the movie and it’s actually impressive that this was the only mention of the movie. And, again, Hutcherson seems nice.

Score: 6.5

The Bad

”Weekend Update” (Seth Meyers, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant) I’m not sure what happened here: Aidy Bryant’s “The Worst Lady on an Airplane” should have been comedy gold. It’s one of those “Weekend Update” segments that, when the title of the character is announced, it’s hard not to get excited because we all know terrible people on airplanes! Alas: it didn’t hit. It happens, but this one felt a little more disappointing than usual. Actually, this was the most disappointing “Update” of the season -- and certainly the shortest. The whole thing just felt rushed. Honestly, it’s hard to be too critical of “Update” considering how good it’s been overall this season -- just not tonight.

Score: 5.5

”Thanksgiving Guest” (Vanessa Bayer, Josh Hutcherson, Aidy Bryant, Taran Killam, Bobby Moynihan, Kyle Mooney) Yeah … I’m not sure if this sketch knew if it wanted to be a play on “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner” or if it just wanted to be a sketch about a turkey that is dating a human being. Anyway, this seems like a bit of a missed opportunity. (Though, the shot of an actual turkey leaving the house was quite bizarre.)

Score: 5.0

”Girlfriends Talk Show” (Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong, Josh Hutcherson) It’s usually Aidy Bryant who makes this recurring sketch at least notable -- but Bryant’s yin to Cecily Strong’s yang just seemed off for whatever reason.

Score: 4.5

”Cold Open: Piers Morgan” (Taran Killam, Kate McKinnon, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett) OK, yes, the George Zimmer/George Zimmerman joke wasn’t bad. But other than that this was possibly the most lackluster cold open of the season. C’mon, just bring Moynihan’s Mayor Rob Ford back again -- there’s no shame in that, I guarantee it.

Score: 4.5

”Animal Hospital” (Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Josh Hutcherson, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Brooks Wheelan) Boy, this went nowhere. There seemed to be an interesting idea here -– and, hey, live animals! -- but I think there may have been too much of an attempt to be “weird” as opposed to just being weird (see Mooney and Bennett’s “Dancing”).

Score: 4.0

The Ugly

”Best Buy” (Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, Josh Hutcherson, Ensemble) I don’t know what else to say about this recurring sketch other than, again, it just seems mean-spirited and crass. And the best thing about this sketch -- Tim Robinson’s dopey boss character -- is now gone. I get that it puts the whole cast on stage at once, but when the main joke here is the overuse of the word “bitch” -- please, please put this one out to pasture. Actually, no, I would never want to eat cheese made from this sketch. Just make it go away.

Score: 2.0

Average Score for this Show: 5.75

The temperature in New York may have hit a cold 31 degrees last night (Nov. 23) but that did not get in the way of Kim Kardashian's sartorial decision making. Kim stepped out to fiance Kanye West's Madison Square Garden show in a little black dress that left her long legs exposed to the elements, paired with black net stilettos to match.

Kim and Kanye have been residing in Soho this past week as West took on Brooklyn's Barclays Center twice last week and has a fourth show in the area tonight (Nov. 24). Their five-months old, North, has been spending the week in New York with them.

'Catching Fire' Box Office Stuns With $161.1 Million Opening Weekend

NEW YORK (AP) — The "Hunger Games" sequel "Catching Fire" opened with $161.1 million at the box office, narrowly besting the original film and setting a record for a November opening.

The result, from studio estimates Sunday, fell short of some expectations, and failed to dethrone the year's biggest box-office opening of $174 million for "Iron Man 3." But it did best the previous top November opening of $142.9 million by "Twilight Saga: New Moon." But the bigger budget and better reviewed "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is doing far better abroad than the 2012 original. It opened with $146.6 million internationally.

The domestic total included Thursday night screenings that made approximately $25 million. The film's three-day weekend total of $136.1 million was actually less than "The Hunger Games."

Jon Bon Jovi Is Interested In Buying The Buffalo Bills: Report

The Buffalo Bills may soon have a new rockstar owner.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that Jon Bon Jovi is one of several parties in the running to buy the NFL team. The New York football team is expected to go on the market after current owner Ralph Wilson, 95, passes.

According to the report, Bon Jovi has been spending a considerable amount of time in the Buffalo area meeting the local movers and shakers.

Bon Jovi's interest in owning a majority share football team may come as no surprise since the frontman almost bought a stake in the Atlanta Falcons, but ultimately passed on the opportunity becuase of the NFL lockout.

Though the rocker may want to buy the New York team, which is currently valued at $870 million, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll win the sale. As La Canfora notes, Toronto-based Rogers Communications may have the best chance of winning a bid since the group has worked closely with the Wilson family in the past.

Rogers Communications struck a deal with the Bills in 2008 to bring the team to Toronto for several games over a five-year period, per the National Post. In 2010, the telecommunications company expressed interest in a more long-term partnership with the football team.

"We're there for the long haul in one way or another," vice chairman Phil Lind told The Associated Press at the time. "We believe in this."

How Kelly Osbourne Dropped 70 Pounds, And Kept The Weight Off

Ever since Kelly Osbourne began her weight-loss journey in 2009, the "Fashion Police" star has embraced some wacky methods to drop a whopping 70 pounds: everything from calorie-burning hula-hoop parties to following the Reverse Diet (eating pizza for breakfast and oatmeal for dinner). Now she’s Hollywood’s poster girl for a U.K. weight loss craze called the mushroom diet, aka the M-Plan, touted as a way to shed pounds without losing your curves. After Osbourne's success, superstar Katy Perry also got on board, giving the diet a major buzz boost when she tweeted about it recently while shedding 15 pounds.

The M-Plan calls for replacing lunch or dinner each day with a mainly mushroom dish for two weeks, resulting in a loss of four to 10 pounds. Skeptics abound –- Perry's own trainer, Harley Pasternak, tells Life & Style he opposes single-food diets and is “giving her a hard time about it” -– but nutrition experts tout mushrooms as a great meat substitute at a fraction of the calories (only 25 per cup).

“They’re high in protein and fiber, helping you feel fuller longer,” says mind-body wellness expert Peggy Hall, creator of 52 weeks of weightloss.com. Additionally, ’shrooms are satisfying because “they taste meaty, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just eating a pile of lettuce leaves,” explains registered dietitian Dr. Wendy Bazilian.

Beyonce, Beatles, Other Stars Stars Donate Songs For Philippines Relief Album

NEW YORK (AP) — Dozens of top stars have donated songs to an album aimed at raising funds for disaster relief in the Philippines.

Songs by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Beyonce, U2 and Bruno Mars are among the 39 donated to "Songs for the Philippines," available for purchase Monday at Apple Inc.'s iTunes and for streaming on iTunes Radio. The artists, record companies and music publishers have agreed to donate the proceeds to the Philippines Red Cross.

Thousands were killed, injured and displaced by Typhoon Haiyan earlier this month and officials have struggled to keep up with humanitarian aid demands.

The compilation album has a little of everything, from the disturbing images of a live version of Eminem's "Stan" to the calming effect of The Beatles' "Let It Be."

Paris Hilton Says She Made No Money Off Her Sex Tape

It's been 10 years since Paris Hilton's sex tape with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon was released and the one-time reality star is still claiming she never cashed in on her X-rated night-vision romp.

TMZ caught up with the 32-year-old at LAX following news that the hotel heiress is pursuing legal action against a Slovenian porn site that's illegally profiting off her name and sex tape, "One Night In Paris." With her X-rated tape back in the news, TMZ wanted to confirm Hilton's claims that she never profited from it.

"[I] never made a dollar," Paris told the cameraman, adding that she never tried to get a cut of the profits either. "I make enough money in nice ways. My fragrance makes enough, I don't need to worry about that."

It's a claim Hilton has been making for years, telling British GQ in 2006, "I never received a dime from it. It's just dirty money and he should give it all to some charity for the sexually abused or something. To be honest, I don't even think about it anymore."

While Hilton may not have profited directly from the sales of "One Night In Paris," the tape boosted her profile enormously, turning her into a household name. The blonde heiress, who until then was best known for her antics on the party circuit, suddenly had her own reality show, perfume line, and like it or not, earned a place in pop culture history.
