Abigail Breslin Poses Topless In Risque New Tyler Shields Shoot

Goodbye "Little Miss Sunshine"! Abigail Breslin is all grown up and topless in a series of racy photos for celebrity photographer Tyler Shields.

"Abigail wanted to do something new, something iconic," Shields told Us Weekly of the shoot. "People see her as innocent, but everyone grows up. After we made 'Final Girl' together, we had a great relationship and it was easy to do this. She trusts me."

In one of the shots, Breslin poses topless with a red lollipop in her mouth and a white sheet covering her bare chest. In another, she looks up at the camera with Kohl-rimmed eyes while topless in a bubble bath.

Shields told Us she was "great" when it came to shooting. The two have experience working together after the photographer directed her in the upcoming thriller, "Final Girl."

The snapshots show a decidedly different side of the 17-year-old actress who got her start in the biz with 2002's "Signs," and earned an Oscar nod for her role in 2006's "Little Miss Sunshine" when she was just 10 years old. While she has been making headlines for her nearly unrecognizable new look recently, it's not meant to prove anything.

"I don't make these conscious decisions to do it, to like prove to the world that I'm grown up," Breslin told E! News of the Shields photos. "I think people see my work and see what I do and see that I'm grown up. But yeah, I'm almost 18. Every headline for the past three years has been 'Abigail Breslin All Grown Up,' so I am kind of growing up. I do want to try different things but it's all for fun."

Beyonce has gone and surprised us yet again by dying her blond hair a vibrant platinum hue.

The superstar singer stepped out Thursday night (Nov. 21) with Jay Z for the Oklahoma City Thunder versus Los Angeles Clippers game in Oklahoma City. Beyonce showed off her lighter and longer locks, styled in big curls, while courtside with her hubby, E! News first noted. The new color appears a bit darker at the roots and bleached below, which popped against her white T-shirt and dark lipstick.

The 32-year-old has been changing her hair up quite a bit recently.

Back in August, she shocked everyone when she chopped off her tresses into an edgy pixie cut. That look didn't last long, however; only days after revealing the 'do, she stepped out with a long, asymmetrical bob. In September, her long hair was back to its original length.

While we think Beyonce can rock any 'do, stylist Adam Reed told Cosmopolitan he thought her "lob" looked "dated."

George Jones Tribute Concert Features Stars Aplenty

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The George Jones tribute concert opened Friday night with Big & Rich rolling onto the stage on riding lawn mowers. Sam Moore serenaded Jones' widow, Nancy. And Megadeth rocked in memory of "King George."

Dozens of artists from all over the musical map participated in "Playin' Possum: The Final No Show," a marathon salute to Jones at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The show was originally planned as Jones' final performance of his last tour, but the revered vocalist and Country Music Hall of Fame member passed away in April at 81. "During the funeral, we mourned George," host Keith Bilbery said. "Tonight we celebrate him."

Many of the performers who took the stage had already committed to perform with Jones, and dozens more signed on after his death. Country stars such as Garth Brooks and George Strait rubbed elbows backstage with fans who come from farther afield, including Kid Rock and Styx's Tommy Shaw.

Jones' rocking chair was placed stage right symbolically, and a sold-out crowd of 16,000 listened to stars play their favorites with the help of Jones' touring band and a teleprompter. The performances ranged from faithful renditions of hits like Alan Jackson's take on "He Stopped Loving Her Today," Strait and Martina McBride's "Grand Tour" to Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton's "I Barely Get By" and Moore's "Blues Man." But the show also featured unlikely teamups — like Megadeth and Jamey Johnson taking on "Wild Irish Rose."

"Heavy metal is all about rebellion, and George was definitely a rebel," Megadeth lead singer Dave Mustaine said.

Midway through the show, actor Jon Voight took the stage to lead the crowd in a moment meant to raise the spirits of stricken singer Randy Travis, who suffered a stroke recently and is in physical rehabilitation in Nashville, Tenn.

"Let's form a human chain of love for Randy," Voight said before leading the crowd in a cheer of, "We love you, Randy."

Many of the night's acts embraced Jones' love of laughter. Big Kenny and John Rich, for instance, fired up a pair of John Deere riding lawn mowers to open the show with "Love Bug," a tip of the cap to Jones' arrest while driving a lawn mower to the liquor store.

"No one was ever more generous to me or anyone he ever met than George Jones," said Brad Paisley, who sang "The Corvette Song." ''I know he's looking down and he's saying, 'Well, son, where's all the money going for this?'"

Lady Gaga: Taylor Kinney Is A 'Hidden Weirdo' And 'Extremely Strange'

Many people, including Ellen DeGeneres, assume Lady Gaga and her boyfriend Taylor Kinney are complete opposites. But, in reality, they are extremely compatible -- at least according to Gaga.

The "Applause" singer sat down for an interview with DeGeneres, airing Monday (Nov. 25), and revealed how and why she and Kinney fell in love.

"He's a hidden weirdo. He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other's weirdness," she told DeGeneres of the "Chicago Fire" star. "That's actually one of the first things he ever said to me. It's a Dr. Seuss quote, that you find in someone else a 'compatible weirdness.' And it was one of the first things he said to me."

Gaga, 27, and Kinney, 32, who've been dating since July 2011, first met on the set of the her "You and I" music video, in which she dons some pretty outlandish looks.

"I looked ridiculously crazy ... I mean why he found me attractive just completely moves me," she laughed, adding, "We were in the middle of this scene and I remember he kissed me and he wasn't scripted to kiss me and I was sort of like, 'Uh, was that real or was that fake?' And he just really didn't say anything. And that was fine by me."

"At the end of the day, he's my best friend," Gaga gushed, "and having your lover be your best friend -- I mean, it's the best thing ever."

Everybody now ... Awww.

'Alice In Wonderland 2' Set For May 2016, With Johnny Depp And Mia Wasikowska Officially On Board

It's through the looking glass again for Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska, who are now officially set for "Alice in Wonderland 2."

Disney made the announcement on Friday following months of speculation. Depp and Wasikowska will reprise their roles as the Mad Hatter and Alice, respectively, in the sequel that was once tentatively titled "Into the Looking Glass." (Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" received an 1871 sequel called "Through the Looking-Glass," both of which were used as inspiration for the 2010 movie directed by Tim Burton.)

Burton won't return to the director's seat for the sequel, however, instead being replaced by James Bobin, who co-created "Flight of the Conchords" and directed 2011's "The Muppets." The script should feel familiar to fans of original, as "Wonderland" scribe Linda Woolverton ("Beauty and the Beast," "The Lion King") will pen the sequel as well. No plot details have been revealed.

Disney set a Memorial Day 2016 release for "Alice 2," making it the first movie to nab a spot during that coveted weekend. The only film already set for May 2016 is an untitled Disney/Marvel release.

The 2010 original, co-starring Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway, became a box office behemoth, despite mixed reviews. It marked the sixth movie to earn more than $1 billion worldwide.

Disney's live-action adaptation of "The Jungle Book" also received a release date on Friday. The Jon Favreau-directed project will bow on Oct. 9, 2015.

The "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" star was photographed arriving at LAX Airport, wearing a long-sleeved striped crop top and a sexy skirt featuring a thigh-high zip-up slit. Malone, 29, was all smiles as she made her way through the airport and to her car.

"Catching Fire," which opened in theaters yesterday (Nov. 22) is estimated to make between $135 million to $150 million during its opening weekend.

"It's kind of like winning the lottery as an actor," Malone told On The Red Carpet of playing Johanna Mason in the box office hit. "I mean, getting to join such an incredible franchise with an amazing book series, an amazing fan base, an amazing cast and you know, having a new director come on board so you don't feel like you have to kind of fit in to something that's already been created."

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas (AP) — Singer Willie Nelson has suspended his tour after three members of his band were hurt when their bus plowed into a bridge pillar in East Texas during rainy conditions.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says Nelson was not aboard in the weather-related accident around 3:30 a.m. CST Saturday on Interstate 30 near Sulphur Springs, 75 miles northeast of Dallas. Matt Smith Explains His 'Doctor Who' Departure

Matt Smith opened up about leaving "Doctor Who" as the show prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Smith announced his departure from the show this past summer, noting that this year's annual Christmas Special will be his last outing as the titular character. He first appeared as the Eleventh Doctor in 2010 and has become the face of the series in recent years.

"It's a very intense process to play the Doctor. The line-learning is really hard, and you have to live away from home for nine or ten months a year. I love the show, and it wasn't an easy choice to come to, but it's the right time for both of us" Smith told The Hollywood Reporter.

“I’d have very happily done another year. It’s a wonderful show. But I think you gotta go when you gotta go, and for me, it just felt like the right time to move on" Smith revealed to the Los Angeles Times earlier this year.

Smith also has thoughts on his Doctor swan song "I think he should go out as he came in -- with a bit of a whiz and a bang. Hopefully it will be funny and touching in equal measure. That, for me, would be the right balance."

Following Smith's final outing as the Doctor during this year's Christmas Special, Peter Capaldi will be boarding the TARDIS as the Twelfth Doctor later in 2014.

This weekend's "Doctor Who" 50th Anniversary Special entitled "The Day of the Doctor" is the first "Doctor Who" episode to be simultaneously broadcast around the world and follows a weeklong marathon of episodes and specials devoted to the series on BBC America.

"The Day of the Doctor" special airs on BBC America on Saturday Nov. 23 at 2:50 p.m. EST.

Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig Endorses Selfies, And We Love Him For It

Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig is here to defend the common man's right to take selfies.

The singer, whose own Instagram account is heavy on jovial self-portraits, voiced his support for the Oxford Dictionaries' 2013 Word of the Year. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Koenig said:

"I think that anybody who's anti-selfie is really just a hater. Because, truthfully, why shouldn't people take pictures of themselves? When I'm on Instagram and I see that somebody took a picture of themselves, I'm like, 'Thank you.' I don't need to see a picture of the sky, the trees, plants. There's only one you. ... There's all this bulls--t about 'the younger kids today are more self-absorbed.' It's like, give me a f--king break! I've been in nursing homes, where my grandma is. I've seen some of the most selfish people on the planet in there. ... And the world that these kids are born into literally could not get more selfish. The world is so f--ked-up and unequal and full of a--holes. You can't blame it on the younger generation."

Koenig's stance may not be universally accepted, but we fully endorse his love for selfies, if only so he'll continue to flood his Instagram with charming photos. There's even a Tumblr account devoted to the many smiles he's flashed in the mirror. Here are some of Koenig's best.
