Look out world, there's another Kardashian on the way.

Kim Kardashian is pregnant with her first child, her rep confirmed to Just Jared.

The 32-year-old's boyfriend Kanye West announced the big news in a big way -- right in the middle of his concert at Revel in Atlantic City on Dec. 30. The 35-year-old rapper told the crowd to "stop the music and make noise for my baby mama," referring to Kardashian, who was in the audience.

The couple first starting dating in April and things got serious pretty quickly, despite the fact that Kardashian is in the middle of a messy divorce from Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries.

Rumors that the reality star was pregnant began this past week, when MediaTakeOut reported that she had been spotted leaving an OB-GYN’s office, followed by reports she was being treated for acute morning sickness.

Kim's sisters Khloe and Kendall also confirmed the good news via Twitter.

"KIMYE!!!!! ... Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!," Khloe wrote on early Monday morning, while Kendall added:

Congrats to the happy couple!

'RHOA': Phaedra And Cynthia Visit Strip Club With Hubbies

On "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Phaedra and Cynthia were trying to figure out their husbands' fascination with strip clubs. The men regularly frequented them, so their wives decided to join them for one memorable experience. And it certainly was.

"It’s beautiful to me to see women of this age enjoying and celebrating their nude bodies," Phaedra said. "Scrumptious!"

After spending some time with the girls carousing around the club, Cynthia's husband Peter remarked, "If you guys wanted to turn me off from coming to strip clubs, it worked!"

One amusing point had Cynthia wondering about the women on stage -- many were middle-aged and somewhat overweight. "Are these the stippers or can anybody go up there?" she asked. In looking at the women, her husband couldn't honestly answer.

The unexpected twists and turns keep coming on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Kimye: Expecting!

Move over, Kate Middleton, there's another pregnant celebrity in the spotlight: The one, the only, Kim Kardashian.

Kanye made the official announcement mid-concert in Atlantic City, NJ, on Sunday night. The Kardashian/Jenner clans quickly followed up on Twitter, sending best wishes to Kimye.

Honestly, did anyone see this coming? Kim has been out and about the past three months, photographed in everything from leather leggings to a mermaid costume, with nary a bump suspected. Traditionally, most couples wait for the 12-week mark before announcing -- whether to an auditorium filled with fans or their families -- so this should put her due date somewhere in June.

And you just know we'll see every moment leading up to the delivery on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Again, this is all good ol' fashioned speculation. Assuming that she's been pregnant for the full twelve weeks, we've decided to take a look at Kim's style to see if there had been any possible clues. Just for fun, you know.

Click through the slideshow below to see Kim's pre-maternity fashion choices. What do you think she'll wear next?

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — A kid for Kimye: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child.

The rapper announced at a concert Sunday night that his girlfriend is pregnant. He told the crowd of more than 5,000 at Revel Resort's Ovation Hall in song form: "Now you having my baby."

The crowd roared. And so did people on the Internet.

The news instantly went viral on Twitter and Facebook, with thousands posting and commenting on the expecting couple.

Most of the Kardashian clan also tweeted about the news, including Kim's sisters and mother. Kourtney Kardashian wrote: "Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!"

West, 35, also told concertgoers to congratulate his "baby mom" and that this was the "most amazing thing."

Representatives for West and Kardashian, 32, didn't immediately respond to emails about the pregnancy.

The rapper and reality TV star went public in March.

Kardashian married NBA player Kris Humphries in August 2011 and their divorce is not finalized.

West's Sunday night show was his third consecutive performance at Revel. He took the stage for nearly two hours, performing hits like "Good Life," "Jesus Walks" and "Clique" in an all-white ensemble with two band mates.

'Sister Wives' Finale: Logan Leaves For College

It was a major milestone for Logan and the entire Brown family on the season finale of "Sister Wives." Logan was getting ready to head off for college, making him the first of the large clan to move away from home. Patriarch Kody was struggling with the emotions of the occasion.

"I’m mixing these two emotions," he said. "This excitement that he has to get out and see the world, coupled with my melancholy."

As a going-away present, the family all signed their names on a "virginity quilt." The quilt had pictures of all of their faces on it as well, and was intended to serve as a reminder for Logan to maintain his virginity until marriage.

While he balked a bit upon first seeing it, he ultimately decided it was a touching gesture from the family.

Coco Austin was prepping a benefit to raise money for pet owners affected by Hurricane Sandy on "Ice Loves Coco," and she wanted to make sure every detail was properly attended to.

"So these are the biscuits and stuff that’s gonna be?" she asked. The plan was for these dog treats to be handed out by waiters to their canine guests.

"Okay, mom needs to try it first," she declared. And that's exactly what she did. She even decided that she liked the flavor of it, or at least she sounded like she did.

There's dedication and drive for perfection, and then there's Coco Austin.

'Sister Wives: Secrets Revealed': Separate Homes

After the third season finale of "Sister Wives," the Brown family reconvened for "Sister Wives: Secrets Revealed." They took a look back at the season, and answered some of the unanswered questions that cropped up as their lives unfolded on television.

One topic discussed was why the Browns have separate houses for each of Kody's four wives. As Kody explained, "I want them to have their autonomy," So that one wife isn't being stifled by the relationship inside a home with another wife."

Janelle agreed, saying, "I actually don’t think that sharing a kitchen means that we’re together. I think that together, for us, means we cooperate in raising the children."

She was referring to their vacation with another polygamist family, the Dargers. Joe Darger and his three wives seemed critical of the Brown family living in separate households, specifically saying that their own shared kitchen is one of the reasons the Dargers polygamy works. Sharing that space keeps them all closer.

The Browns are members of the Apostolic United Brethren Church. While The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has officially rejected polygamy, the Brown family openly continues with the practice.

Pat Gallagher: The 11 Nicest Post 50 A-List Actors In Hollywood

$
0
0

I am nobody. I promise. But I talk to lots of somebodies in my job as a celebrity freelance journalist. I'm happily writing for The Huffington Post now, and that helps the cause but my name isn't Oprah or Katie or Ellen so it's a bit more of a challenge for me to get an interview with the A-List population of actors in the Hollywood community than it is for those high-profile mega-star talk-show hosts.

A-List Hollywood celebs can sometimes get cranky and be self-absorbed, but there are those A-listers who need to be called out for being just plain wonderful. (To put this in perspective, if I were doing a list of the nicest country artists -- an area I covered for over six years -- I'd have to do a "Top 200" list in no particular order.) If you catch the following 11 Hollywood types walking alone on a street where you happen to be standing (walking alone?), you can actually say hello to any one of them without worrying they'll call Bluto -- the beefed-up security guy -- to run interference. They will be nice to you. Count on it. Here's why.

George Clooney

I covered the "K Street" reality show premiere party at The Palm restaurant in Washington, D.C. in 2003 for Us Weekly. I was joined at the hip (on purpose) with "K Street" producer George Clooney for about an hour trying to get some quotes from the superstar. Hundreds of Washingtonians took turns approaching ... surrounding him -- making small talk with this cinematic giant -- to get their Clooney fix. The "Ocean's Eleven" actor never -- not even once -- made an effort to kick my journalist butt to the curb. I've never seen such a commotion, and trying to get in my questions with a mob circling their prey became a surreal challenge. Clooney spent the evening smiling, making nice with every person who walked up to him. Kind. Nice. Gentle. Polite. I can't say these words enough times to describe this man. I will always like him. Always!

John Travolta

John Travolta was filming "Ladder 49" in Baltimore in 2004 when he attended the "Ghosts of the Abyss" documentary screening hosted by "Titanic" director James Cameron. I was stationed in line on the red carpet as Travolta traveled along dutifully answering questions from the press. I had learned that his childhood nickname was "Bones" so I asked him if that were true. He laughed, saying, "Yes, but I fixed that didn't I?" Afterwards he actually spent five minutes with me at a VIP reception just making small talk. Do you have any idea how many times superstars make idle chit-chat with "small-time" reporters at any event? I'm guessing... never. He's the man!

Ron Howard

Everyone from Hollywood to Timbuktu knows that Ron Howard is the nicest person in this galaxy. I've interviewed both Ron and his actor/father, Rance, for The Huffington Post so I know that "Ronny" was raised in a household that channeled love and respect for all mankind. Ron spent 45 minutes with me on the phone in 2010 to talk about the 50th Anniversary of "The Andy Griffith Show." When I got off the phone with him, I thought to myself: I just interviewed Opie! And that was OK with Ron, who understood my need to talk to the best kid ever to grace the small screen -- of my all-time favorite TV show -- inside my living room... when I was 12.

Tom Bergeron

Tom Bergeron is what I would call the cute guy in high school that everyone liked because he had a wonderful sense of humor and he knew how to use it. To prove my point, just watch him do his magic on "America's Funniest Home Videos," and "Dancing With the Stars." I interviewed the sexiest man alive over 50 (my opinion) -- for The Huffington Post -- just before he took home his Emmy last September, and the word "nice" is an understatement for this charming human being. If he's ever driving down your street, make a citizen's arrest so you can pull him over and make him talk to you.

Jeff Foxworthy

You might be a redneck if you like Jeff Foxworthy. Or, you might be a Yankee (isn't that someone from the North?). Whatever... everyone can relate to this southerner's clever redneck jokes. Interviewing Foxworthy was one of the highlights of my career. Just between us, comedians can sometimes be a tough interview, but this Atlanta native could not have been nicer as he actually laughed at one of my jokes (that almost never happens). It didn't sound like fake laughter either. How much nicer could he be?

Henry Winkler

Would Henry Winkler take a big step backwards if I tried to hug him? I doubt it. He's just the type of guy you'd like to make a move on -- in the form of a subtle hug. Yes, the Fonz was sexy and irresistible, but who's his daddy? Henry Winkler. I've interviewed "The Happy Days" and "Royal Pains" actor twice for AOL and The Huffington Post, and it's just hard to not to want to jump through the phone and give him a reasonable, but gentle bear hug. OK, I'll stop now. I don't need a restraining order, but, my guess is, he would allow the hug. Sooooooooo, nice! Xoxoxo

Billy Crystal

It's 1987. I'm talent coordinator for an entertainment show on NBC's local O&O station in Washington, D.C. I've booked Billy Crystal months in advance. We did the show live (to tape). The PR guy, who had schlepped Crystal around the entire day doing various promotional interviews (with print and other TV outlets) to promote his live show that evening at a local venue, called me to say that he thought Billy was much too tired to come to do our show at 5 p.m. After I threatened to make it impossible for this PR guy to ever have enough sperm count to sire children of his own, he delivered a very tired Billy Crystal to our studio. Crystal was not only polite and gracious, he was, by far, the funniest man I've ever talked to in my life. I wanted him to be my BFF... and I still do.

Ted Danson

Ted Danson (a.k.a. Sam Malone on "Cheers") appeared at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C. (circa 1988) as the spokesperson for the American Oceans Campaigns. I met him one-on-one in one of the press rooms to talk to him for a little "Chatter" for People magazine. As he entered the room, I introduced myself, and he immediately said: "Pat Gallagher. I think I've seen your byline before." (WHAT? Ted Danson has actually seen my byline?!!! ... That would have been a kiss-on-the-lips moment but I didn't want to scare him. Every writer alive wants someone to actually know their byline.) We sat knee-cap-to-knee-cap as he politely answered all my questions. Big handsome smile. A real charmer... who might just be in my will.

Tom Cruise

Us Magazine sent me out to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. in 2002 to grab a quote or two from megastar Tom Cruise who was there to attend the three-dimensional Imax feature "Space Station" premiere. He patiently talked to Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, People magazine, The Washington Post, USA Today and on and on and on. As he was approaching me, making his way to the top of the stairs where I was standing, his "people" explained that he had to get inside for the event, which meant I could not talk to him. Dear God! I had to get something! I went after him like a fox in a rabbit hole, somehow managing to get Bluto to let me do a Half Nelson Pin Maneuver on Cruise's elbow as he was walking inside. Cruise turned around, looked at me in such a tender way as I begged: "Please, can I just ask you one question?" He stopped... politely listened: "So, if you were in space for three months -- inside the space station -- what would you miss the most here on earth?" "That's a GREAT question," he offered. (Yes!!!). Then, as he flashed those beautiful pearly whites at me, he politely answered: "Ice cream." You can find his answer on page 30 of the May 20, 2002 issue of Us Weekly. I love you, Tom Cruise!

Billy Bob Thornton

I conducted a phone interview with Billy Bob Thornton in 2009 to talk to him about his new CD "Modbilly" with The Boxmasters. I always tape my conversations so I don't screw up the answers to all of my intellectual questions. About 30 minutes into our conversation, I looked down at my tape recorder and realized it had been turned off (BBT had put me on hold just as we were about to begin to go answer his doorbell, and I turned it off for a "minute"...duh!). My heart sank to my knees, and when I sheepishly explained to BBT that my tape recorder had not been on for the past 30 minutes, he said with a laugh, "I hope you have a good memory." Well, I don't. BBT sweetly said, "OK, let's start over." He allowed me to ask him every question over again and happily reenacted his original answers. He, then, gave me 15 more minutes of interview time. If he ever finds himself single again, I will marry him.

Tom Hanks

I've never interviewed Tom Hanks but I will one day, I just know it. Journalists talk. I've heard that the "Forrest Gump" actor is one of the nicest people on planet earth (from a couple of others who have had the pleasure of speaking with him, and that's good enough for me). I'm coming for you, Tom. Tell your publicist. Can you put me down for, let's say, March so I can interview you and your lovely wife, Rita -- for The Huffington Post -- about your upcoming 25th wedding anniversary? I know you won't let me down. I'm sure of it.

Charlie Sheen is apologizing after video footage of the "Anger Management" star dropping an anti-gay slur at an event in Mexico surfaced.

In the clip, first obtained by TMZ, the 47-year-old actor proclaims, "How we doing? Lying bunch of faggot a**holes, how we doing?"

Sheen, who reportedly made the declaration at the Dec. 28 opening of his new bar at the El Ganzo Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, later apologized by telling the website he "meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one," and that he "meant to say 'maggot,' but I have a lisp."

Earlier that day, Sheen tweeted a photo of the hotel, calling it the "sickest place in Cabo." Among those in attendance the opening were Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who also performed, according to the New York Post.

Cindy Crawford And Her 'Unforgettable' Red Lips

We may be a bit bias to declare the '90s as one of the best decades EVER, but there isn't too much to debate for an era that gave us the option to Super Size our fries at McDonald's, Michael Jackson's epic "Remember the Time" video, and of course, supermodels like Cindy Crawford. Born in DeKalb, Illinois, Crawford gained international acclaim with countless magazine covers and fashion campaigns as the face of Versace, Escada and Revlon (do you recall this "Unforgettable" fragrance ad?)

In this 1990 photograph, the catwalk queen-turned-Meaningful Beauty creator channels screen sirens of yesteryear wearing a retro curly hairstyle and sparkly diamond jewelry. Crawford's creamy red lipstick matches the halter dress perfectly. With the right amount of face powder, eyeliner and mascara, her bold brows and famous mole comes through beautifully.

12 Celebrities Who Had A Worse Year Than You

We all have bad days -- times when we lose our temper, our perspective, even our minds. But with the top publicists on speed dial, one would hope for a certain amount of discipline and restraint from Hollywood's heavyweights. Below is a roundup of stars who had a rough 2012 -- here's to hoping 2013 is kinder.

Getting Ready For Midnight

NEW YORK -- Yes, Ryan Seacrest has a New Year's resolution for 2013: improve his skill at dancing.

"There's a Significant Other in my life who's very good at it," he notes. That would be professional dancer Julianne Hough, a two-time champ on "Dancing with the Stars" in whose proximity "I feel the pressure to be as good as she is. It sounds like a joke, but this is a serious thing for me to accomplish next year."

So add dancing lessons to the long list of projects that keep Seacrest famously fast on his feet. His numerous broadcast gigs include roles on E! Entertainment and NBC, a syndicated morning radio show for Clear Channel, as well as "American Idol," whose new season starts next month on Fox. Behind the cameras, he has a swiftly expanding production empire that includes the Kardashian portfolio of reality shows.

But as Monday nears, Seacrest is focused on this annual rite: "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest," which, with related programming, will blanket ABC from 8 p.m. until past 2 a.m. EST.

Booking musical acts has been in the works for months, Seacrest says. Performers include Carly Rae Jepsen, Neon Trees, Flo Rida and Pitbull, as well as Taylor Swift, in the headliner position just before midnight.

But Friday afternoon in Manhattan, Seacrest is soon due at a production meeting "to work out the nitty-gritty of the show – some of which we will stick to, some of which we won't."

Already he has appeared on "Good Morning America," then headed to the rooftop of One Times Square, where the huge crystal ball was poised for its flashy descent, along with half-a-dozen TV teams queued up to tape interviews with him.

An hour later, at ABC's Upper West Side headquarters, Seacrest has shed his top coat and taken a break to reflect on Monday's extravaganza. This will be his eighth New Year's Eve turn for ABC. But it's his first since Clark's death last April at age 82.

Clark, of course, originated "New Year's Rockin' Eve" four decades ago. And it is Clark on "Rockin' Eve" who gave Seacrest as a youngster his earliest memories of ringing in each new year.

"I'd like to say I can imagine how it's going to feel, but I'm not quite sure," says Seacrest. "I looked forward so much to each year that I did the show with him."

Seacrest recalls how typically he would be posted outside overlooking Times Square, while Clark, who had suffered a stroke in 2004, made brief appearances from indoors.

"Then, right after midnight, I would run inside and stand next to him, and he always has some funny, clever thing to make fun of me about," says Seacrest, unwittingly speaking in the present tense. "I think I will really miss that moment this year."

The night will begin with a two-hour tribute, "New Year's Rockin' Eve Celebrates Dick Clark," hosted by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

Then Seacrest takes over for the countdown show at 10 p.m. EST.

"I definitely will say something about him, and it will be from the heart," Seacrest promises. "But the night will be, as he would want, a celebration of what's to come: Dick was always one to say, `The show must go on.'"

That clearly resonates for the man who claims Clark as his mentor.

Seacrest, who marked his 38th birthday on Christmas Eve, grew up in Atlanta loving music and dreaming of a career in broadcasting.

From childhood, he was a student of Dick Clark, who in the 1950s had pioneered melding music, youth and TV on a show he called "American Bandstand."

"I loved the perception that people came together to hang out and be introduced to new music," Seacrest says. "Dick was brilliant at making everyone feel at home and comfortable, and never getting in the way. That's the key."

That became the key for Seacrest, who, today, is among the most accomplished at doing what he does. But just what does he do?

"At the doctor's office where it says `Occupation,' I always have trouble knowing what to write in that box," he says with a laugh. "I usually put `Host.' I enjoy bringing pop-culture moments and events to an audience, introducing the country to a promising new act or sitting down with an artist who has had a big hit.

"I like being the host of a party. I never feel like I need to be the star of it. Just host."

Seacrest wangled a shift on an Atlanta radio station when he was still in high school. So, from the start, he was live on the air, "and I felt comfortable when things didn't always go as planned. I didn't realize how valuable that would be until later, when I was standing on the `American Idol' stage."

Populated with jittery contestants and volatile judges, "Idol" counts on Seacrest to keep everything on track.

And he does – even when a problem pops up of his own making.

"I remember a results show when we were down to the final two contestants," he says, "and I realized I didn't have the results card with me. I'd gone offstage during a commercial and set it down. So while I'm standing there with those two contestants, I thought to myself, `How am I gonna leave this shot, get that card and get back, without everybody seeing it?'

"In a split second, I decided the only way was to ask Randy (Jackson) at the judges' panel a question, knowing they would cut to a shot of him – I figured he would give a longer answer than Simon (Cowell) – and I'd have time to jump to the side, grab the card and sprint back."

It worked. No viewer was the wiser.

"Idol" returns January 16, and earlier this month Seacrest was busy as the show completed shooting contestants in Los Angeles, with winners of that round set to move on to the live competition.

At the same time, he tends a growing crop of productions and other business ventures, with some 50 people in his employ.

"I put as many hours into that as I do in all the shows that I'm hosting," he says. "Production is hard work, but fulfilling. That entrepreneurial spirit is a great lesson I learned from Dick," whose dick clark productions established him not just as an entertainment personality, but as a media mogul. "If he wasn't on the air, Dick was in his office working hard."

But does Seacrest ever feel like he's taking on too much?

"Only some mornings," he replies, with a look of mock-weariness. "But then I'll be somewhere watching something and thinking, `Gosh, I want to be part of that. I feel like I'm missing that party.' I wouldn't want to be home watching New Year's Eve! I want to be bringing it to YOU!"

"American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino is angry that she is being "judged" in a world that has legalized same-sex marriage and marijuana.

On Sunday, Barrino posted what some perceived to be an anti-gay rant on Instagram, condemning same-sex marriage and other anti-Biblical issues, Towleroad reports.

Via Good As You:

I Rise ABOVE IT ALL!!! THE WORLD IS GONE MAD. KIDS, THE GOVERNMENT THE church House... Everybody Trying!!!!!!! Its a lot that going on that the Bible speaks about we should Not be doing. Weed legal in some places, Gay Marriage Legal BUT YET IM JUDGED!!! I'm not doing Nothing for you... My Life!!!!

However, a statement regarding Barrino's remarks was later released.

Comments made by Ms. Barrino through her Intragram account were recently taken far out of context, and the purpose of this release is to set the record straight. Ms. Barrino is not now, nor has she ever been an opponent of the LGBT community. She has supported and performed at numerous events that are sponsored by the LGBT community. Whether it’s through a live performance or placement on social media, Ms. Barrino uses every opportunity to reach out and connect with her fans, all of her fans.

What judgment Barrino was originally referring to is unclear, Towleroad notes. The 2004 "Idol" winner has been out of the spotlight since winning her first Grammy last year, but she has had difficulties dealing with public scrutiny before.

In 2010, Barrino attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on a bottle of Aspirin, The suicide attempt took place just days after the singer was accused of having an affair with a married man.

"I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much," she told "Good Morning America" in August 2010. "I always take a licking and keep on ticking... It just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise... There's so much that people don't understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we're human and we go through things."

Barrino is set to take the stage at the 2013 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in New Orleans in February.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks is ringing in 2013 with a baby on the way!

Parks confirmed that she is expecting her second child with husband Apollo Nida to People magazine. She shows off her growing baby bump in a black bathing suit in a photo sent to the magazine, taken while she vacationed in the Bahamas with her family over the holidays.

Parks, an entertainment lawyer, and Nida wed in 2009 and welcomed their first child, son Ayden, one year later, according to E! Online.

Her first pregnancy was filmed for Season 3 of "Real Housewives," and controversy surrounding her due date became a central storyline. Parks claimed that she did not know her baby's due date, but others pointed to the possibility that he was conceived out of wedlock. "In my family, you can't have [a baby] unless you married," she said during a Season 3 episode. "That's momma's rules."

The "Housewives of Atlanta" star recently opened up about juggling life as a career woman, a wife and a mom during an interview with the Examiner. "It’s very difficult, but I have a great support staff, great parents, great friends, great husband, and everyone pitches in," she said. "It’s a lot of prioritizing and we try to do everything in the best interest of our son and our family."

Parks is currently promoting her new exercise DVD, Phine Body. She tweeted to a fan that she used the work-out after her previous pregnancy.

Samuel L. Jackson Dings 'Lincoln' Ending

Samuel L. Jackson isn't afraid to speak his mind, which is why his new comments about Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" should come as a surprise to no one. (Spoiler alert for those who don't want to know how "Lincoln" ends.)

"I don't understand why it didn't just end when Lincoln is walking down the hall and the butler gives him his hat," Jackson said to The Los Angeles Times. "Why did I need to see him dying on the bed? I have no idea what Spielberg was trying to do."

"Lincoln" ends with the 16th president (played by Daniel Day-Lewis) being assassinated offscreen, and then returning via flashback to speak at his inauguration months earlier.

Continued Jackson, in what the Times called a "mini-rant": "I didn't need the assassination at all. Unless he's going to show Lincoln getting his brains blown out. And even then, why am I watching it? The movie had a better ending 10 minutes before."

This isn't the first time Jackson has put a popular director on blast. The actor dinged M. Night Shyamalan in an interview with The Huffington Post earlier in December.

"You'll have to ask the brilliant director who wrote it and didn't do the rest of them," Jackson said when asked about any possible sequels to "Unbreakable." The 2000 film was supposedly the first part of a trilogy of movies that never actually got made.

"I mean, he hasn't made a really good movie since ['Unbreakable']," Jackson said candidly.

The "Django Unchained" star even had some real-talk reserved for Quentin Tarantino.

"In the original script, Quentin had a really generic ending," Jackson told the Times about the "Django" denouement, which has been criticized by some for being drawn out. "So he decided to add a lot of other stuff."
