The Wanted Boy Bander Not Involved In Lohan Bar Brawl

Reports that Lindsay Lohan punched a woman in the face early Thursday because she got friendly with Max George from the boy band The Wanted and that she attended a Justin Bieber concert earlier in the evening because his opening act was The Wanted can't be true, according to several people attending the sold-out Madison Square Garden concert.

“If Lindsay came to the concert to see ‘The Wanted,’ she missed them,” one person at the show told The Huffington Post. “They came on first, then Carly Rae [Jepsen]. Lindsay missed them all and showed up 10 minutes before Justin hit the stage.”

Lohan, 26, was charged with third-degree assault after fighting with a fellow patron at Manhattan's Club Avenue early Thursday. Police told the Associated Press that Lohan struck the woman in the face with her hand. TMZ said the fight began after the other woman began talking with Max George.

George did turn up at the same club as Lohan, but was seen getting friendly with a woman not involved in the fight with Lohan and leaving with her.

NSFW PHOTOS: Talk Show Host Would 'Rather Go Naked Than...'

Wendy Williams proved that she would "rather go naked than wear fur," in the latest PETA ad targeting holiday shoppers. "As a talk show host where everything has to be so covered up, I welcomed the reason to go naked," she said in her PETA interview.

wendypetaad

In an effort to promote PETA's national winter campaign, Williams launched her ad in Times Square on Wednesday afternoon, according to a press release from the animal rights organization. The talk show host, who used to wear real mink and fox fur, now says she'd "rather go naked than wear fur."

"I have a little jiggle, but jiggle is what separates the men from the women," Williams declared in her interview, adding, "if this is a sexy ad, I must tell you, jiggle is sexy."

"We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs," she said in the press release.

According to PETA:

When people learn that millions of innocent animals are beaten, boiled, hanged, and electrocuted for their fur every year; that each fur coat, each piece of fur lining or fur trim, and each fur cat toy represents the intense suffering of dozens of animals; and that furriers intentionally mislabel the fur of cats and dogs as fur from other species or as faux fur—then every decent human being will want to go fur-free.

Williams is also encouraging those who have old fur coats to donate them to PETA's drive so they can be given to the homeless this winter. PETA is partnering with New Jersey shelters to give coats to the homeless, many of whom have been displaced after Hurricane Sandy.

LAS VEGAS — A spokeswoman for Michael Jackson's father says the musical family's patriarch has suffered a mild stroke.

Angel Howansky says Joe Jackson went to a Las Vegas hospital late Wednesday night when he had trouble standing up and walking. She says the 83-year old Jackson was having pains in his head but reports he is feeling fine Thursday and should be released on Friday.

She says he called a friend who drove him to the hospital.

Jackson's wife, Katherine, is reportedly on her way to Las Vegas to be with him. Jackson has maintained a residence there for many years while his wife lives in Los Angeles, where she cares for the late pop star's children.

Howansky says Jackson has had small strokes at least twice before this.

'Sons Of Anarchy' Autopsy Reveals New Truths In Bizarre Case

LOS ANGELES -- A former "Sons of Anarchy" actor who was the lone suspect in the killing of his landlady did not have drugs in his system when he died, according to an autopsy report released Thursday.

Authorities had been interested in whether Johnny Lewis was on drugs or medication when he apparently killed Catherine Davis in her home and then fell to his death in her driveway.

Lewis had recently been released from jail and had a string of drug-related arrests before the killing. His attorney had speculated he might have been in a drug-induced psychosis when he killed Davis.

Toxicology results on Johnny Lewis found no traces of cocaine, alcohol, marijuana or any other types of drugs in the actor's system. Officials checked for anti-psychotic drugs as well as psychedelic drugs.

An autopsy report noted that Lewis had nail marks on both sides of his neck when he died and had suffered partial strangulation. His death was ruled accidental because there was no evidence he attempted to kill himself or had been pushed.

Police believe Lewis fell while trying to flee the home after killing Davis, 81, who operated a retreat for writers and actors out of her home.

Lewis had played Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on the TV drama "Sons of Anarchy" in 2008 and 2009 before his character was killed off.

He had been arrested three times during the past year. Probation officials earlier this year expressed concern about Lewis' mental health and his danger to others.

A probation officer who evaluated Lewis' case after he attempted to break into the home of a woman wrote that he was being "very concerned for the well-being of not only the community but that of the defendant."

The report added Lewis suffered from some form of chemical dependency and mental health issue, and was a transient.

"Given this, (Lewis) will continue to be a threat to any community he may reside," it said

The break-in attempt came about six weeks after the actor hit two men over the head with a bottle during a fight.

Lewis' attorney, Jonathan Mandel, said after his client's death that drugs may have been a factor in the deaths. He said he recommended treatment for Lewis but he declined it.

LOS ANGELES — Attorneys for Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend have settled court issues that arose after a Thanksgiving Day fight at the actress' home.

The fisticuffs involved Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and her fiance, actor Olivier Martinez. Aubry was arrested after the fight, which left him with a black eye, a broken rib and other injuries.

Aubry obtained a temporary restraining order against Martinez. The model and Berry have been battling over custody of their 4-year-old daughter for months and have appeared twice in a family law court since the fight.

Blair Berk, an attorney for Berry, and Shawn Holley, who represents Aubry, released a statement after Thursday's hearing that said the two sides had reached an amicable agreement.

No details were released, and the attorneys declined to answer questions.

LOS ANGELES — Court records show Mayim Bialik filed for divorce from her husband of nine years on the same day she announced the couple's split in a blog post.

She cited irreconcilable differences with husband Michael Stone in the documents filed Nov. 21 in Los Angeles.

Bialik currently stars on the CBS comedy "The Big Bang Theory" and rose to fame as the star of the TV show "Blossom."

She has been a proponent of "attachment parenting" and the former couple have two sons together, ages 7 and 4. Bialik has said their parenting style was not a factor in the divorce and she is seeking joint custody of the children.

The 36-year-old wrote in her post last week that the divorce is "terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible" for children.

Lindsay Lohan Likely To Be Cleared In Nightclub Fight Case

LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan was charged Thursday with crimes in New York and Los Angeles, marking her latest setbacks as she tries to revive her career and avoid a return to jail.

Prosecutors in Santa Monica charged Lohan with three misdemeanors related to a June accident. Hours earlier, the actress was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, also a misdemeanor, after a woman was punched in a New York City nightclub.

The California charges came about six months after Lohan's Porsche crashed into the back of a dump truck. She told police her assistant was driving, but detectives now believe the actress was behind the wheel as she headed to a movie set.

In that case, Lohan, 26, was charged with lying to police, reckless driving and obstructing a police officer from performing duties.

Lohan's California attorney, Shawn Holley, said she could not comment on the crash-related charges.

In New York, her attorney Mark Heller said he expects the assault charge to be dismissed.

"Once again, Lindsay Lohan is a victim of someone trying to capture their 15 minutes of fame," Heller wrote in a statement. "From my initial investigation, I am completely confident that this case will be concluded favorably and that Lindsay will be totally exonerated."

The California charges could trigger another probation violation for Lohan, who was ordered to stay out of trouble when she was released from supervised probation in March after being convicted of the misdemeanor theft of a necklace and two DUI charges.

Since then she has been arrested twice in New York, crashed her car on Pacific Coast Highway, been treated by paramedics in her hotel room, and gotten in an argument with her mother that prompted a 911 call.

None of the events are likely what the clearly relieved actress anticipated in March when she thanked Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, who warned the actress that she could face up to 245 days in jail if she violated her probation again.

"You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work," Sautner said.

In recent years, Lohan has been sentenced to the Los Angeles-area women's jail five times. Most of her stays have been short due to overcrowding, and she was allowed to serve 35 days on house arrest in 2011.

Lately, Lohan has been filming two movies and doing a cameo in the latest installment of the "Scary Movie" franchise. The first film, "Liz & Dick," premiered Sunday night on Lifetime to mostly negative reviews.

She was on her way to shoot scenes for "Liz & Dick" in June when her Porsche crashed into the dump truck and the actress was briefly hospitalized. A week later, paramedics were summoned to her hotel room. Her then-publicist Steve Honig attributed the health scare to exhaustion and dehydration.

Lohan relocated to New York after finishing her work on "Liz and Dick" and a Bret Easton Ellis film titled "The Canyons" was complete.

Her arrest at 4 a.m. EST Thursday was the latest by New York police since September, when a man accused her of hitting him with her car. Prosecutors did not pursue charges.

The following month, police were called to Lohan's childhood home on Long Island after a report of a fight between her and her mother. An investigation revealed what authorities called "no criminality."

On Thursday, police said Lohan got into a spat with a woman at Club Avenue in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. The woman was hit in the face and did not require medical attention, authorities said.

It remains unclear when Lohan will return to Los Angeles. No court date was announced for the crash-related charges.

People charged with misdemeanors in California can generally avoid court appearances if they have an attorney, but Lohan would have to be present for a probation violation hearing.

When Jennie Garth went for a coffee run with Luke Perry in North Hollywood Thursday, it was just like the old West Beverly days ... except Kelly Taylor would never wear jarringly printed harem pants.

The erstwhile "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-stars are reportedly developing a sitcom together and have remained friends over the years. In fact, Perry has even offered to play matchmaker for Garth, who split from husband Peter Facinelli earlier this year.

"He keeps saying he wants to because he doesn't approve of my choices so far," Garth told Us Weekly in November.

Sounds like a plan -- unless, of course, Jennie chooses herself instead.

About six years ago I had the great opportunity to be a guest on Martha Stewart's Living radio program. I have forever been a Martha fan, but wasn't really sure what antiques and crafts had in common. I mean -- sure, I do some crafting with vintage items I find -- because who wants to throw away antiques? It's just wrong! But I thought it was the only recycler out there.

Come to find out, Living fans were huge collecting enthusiasts. The sheer volume of people who called in just to talk to me was mind-blowing. And because of that, I have been asked back again and again.

Over the summer I was asking to be a guest during Antique Week, and had the pleasure of chatting with Brian Kelsey. Brian is that guy you've seen on Martha Stewart, Fox & Friends, HGTV, etc... hot guy, repurposing furniture, DIY projects. You can't miss him!

At the time I learned he was "starting" to collect wristwatches. I'm all about wristwatches as you know, but I just figured he would be into something a little more interesting. So the other day he called to tell me he realized he actually does collect something!

Reyne Haines: I knew you were a collector! Nautical themed items... I totally get it. Tell me more...

Brian Kelsey: I have been renovating a 1957 Chris Craft boat for years -- and have collected nautical items, mainly mahogany and teak, and mostly structural items. Things like wood hatches, doors and oars, but also brass portholes and ship lights.

I must admit, it's not often I see younger guys collecting this type of thing. Did you inherit items from family members and create a collection from there or?

I have always loved yacht interiors, fine woodwork and the sailing life always appealed to me. I've started my collections from scratch, and use the items to create furniture and other home furnishings and accents.

2012-11-26-brian3.jpg

I'm going to bet that your family had a boat when you were a kid. Often the things we collect take us back to a special time in our life.

My dad had a tiny sailboat, and he taught me everything I know about working with wood. It does harken back to those days on that little sunfish out in Long Island Sound! I find [that] boat interiors are very cozy and safe, utilizing every bit of space. Something about that is so comforting to me.

I feel like some people are born with the collecting bug. Did you collect anything as a kid? Sports cards, comic books?

Definitely! At 13-years-old, I had developed an unusual collection of beer cans. A very rare collection in fact, that had me digging in the woods and along the side of the road for the classic 'cone top' beer cans. I'd make my parents pull over if I spotted empty beer cans on the side of the road so I could see if there were any valuable ones. Unfortunately, my parents had enough of the stench of unwashed beer cans in my room, and got rid of most of the collection.

At least it wasn't a collection of comic books they threw out! You have two boys; have they picked up on your interest in collecting?

Well, they have the collecting bug for sure! Everything from Legos, to Ninjago, to any other small toys of the moment!

Working with Martha Stewart and her creative team has to be amazing. It gives you exposure to all types of collectibles and decorating. Has this job inspired how you collect, or how you decorate with your collection?

I finally feel like I among like-minded people! Collecting and decorating is embraced, I could talk about using nautical accents to give a room some character for hours! When I come back from the Brimfield Antique Show every year, finally I have someplace to brag about it!

My next home is going to be all mid-century modern. I spent the last 16 years living with Tiffany lamps and mission furniture. It's time for change. What would you make for me that would fit with my modernistic style?

Reyne, I'll build you anything you want! So funny, because I love mid-century modern! That is how I plan on decorating my next 'residence', wherever that may be. I could make you a cool low sideboard or low TV-stand, with sliding doors, in the mid-century modern style... or a coffee table...

...

That's right ladies: Brian will make something just for me. I knew I loved this job!

Tune into Morning Living on Martha Stewart Living Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 110 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. EST to hear Brian talk about restoration, crafts and interviewing some great guests!

He has his own website with some great DIY videos at www.KelseyOnTheHouse.com. New videos added all the time!

And his series Kelsey on the House is about to take to TV. Watch for details on his website and follow Brian on Twitter and Facebook.

Will Lindsay Lohan Be Barred From Nightclub Where Fight Occurred?

$

If you or I got arrested outside a trendy Manhattan nightclub for allegedly throwing a punch, it would be fair to assume we wouldn't be welcomed back. That is not the case with Lindsay Lohan.

Lohan, a regular at the Chelsea hotspot Avenue, was banned from the club earlier this year following an incident in which she tweeted that Justin Timberlake was seeing another woman that wasn't his wife, Jessica Biel. But after Lohan was arrested for hitting a fellow patron there early Thursday morning, the club's staff has not issued a similar statement.

"It goes to show that talking publicly about a celebrity behavior inside the club is far more important than a actual behavior," one nightlife fixture told The Huffington Post, asking that we didn't share her name for fear of being banned. "The message is, you can punch someone, but if you talk about it, you will get barred."

Avenue's owner and publicist did not return calls seeking comment. However, other clubs' representatives and owners were happy to say Lindsay was still welcome at their establishments.

Matt Levine, co-owner of Cocktail Bodega and the Sons of Essex, says Lindsay is not barred from any of his restaurants and lounges. Shadow PR, which represents some of the finest hospitality ventures in the city including, 1-OAK, Butter, The Darby, Abe & Arthurs, Catch, The Chandelier Room and Tenjune, also made it clear Lindsay is still welcome.

"It takes a lot for a celebrity to get banned from a cool club in NYC," one insider said. "It’s for sure a case of one rule for Lindsay and another for everyone else."

What TV Taught Us This Week

This week was an eventful one in the TV world, especially when it came to "Two and A Half Men" and '90s nostalgia.

Not only did Angus T. Jones pronounce his show "Two And A Half Men" "filth," but the notoriously volatile "American Idol" host Nicki Minaj declared Steven Tyler racist.

On a more pleasant note, Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage announced they would be appearing on the "Boy Meets World" spinoff "Girl Meets World," and the news broke that "Downton Abbey" mastermind Julian Fellowes was working on a 19th century drama series titled "The Gilded Age" for NBC.

Click through the slideshow below for a recap of what happened in the TV world this week ... and what we learned from it.

Trish Bendix: Best Lesbian Moments Of The Week

AfterEllen.com is Logo's site for lesbians and bisexual women in entertainment and media, which means we pride ourselves on knowing all kinds of Sapphic pop-culture facts. Each week we share some of the best tidbits on The Huffington Post in our series "Best Lesbian Week Ever." Here's who and what was on our raging gay radar this week.

Meet Virginia: New York has a new lesbian bar and restaurant called The Dalloway. Let's hope its early success hints at a renaissance for lesbian hangouts. They're a dying breed.

That'll Do It: Wanda Sykes told Jay Leno she hooks up with Al Roker every now and again to make sure she's still gay. Works like a charm every single time.

New Plot:New Girlgave its lesbian gynecologist a girlfriend and a bun in the oven this week. She also got turned on by vagina talk, as you do when you're a pregnant lesbian.

Rachel Maddow wouldn't have this problem: Stephanie Miller apologized on her show this week after accidentally saying the Salvation Army wasn't anti-gay, when it clearly, clearly is. She admitted that she hadn't done her research and was misinformed.

Jolene is not my lover: Dolly Parton said that despite her close friendship with her BFF Judy, she's still not a lesbian. "We know," lesbians responded with a sigh.

It only takes one to ruin it for the rest of us: Mary Lynn Rajskub said she may be married with a kid, but that doesn't take away all her lesbian relationships from the '90s and early 2000s, even the one that was with a waitress who stole from her and broke her heart.

Closer to heaven: Tegan and Sara's new video for "Closer" premiered with a lot of kissing and karaoke. We couldn't have dreamt it better ourselves. Well, except we'd be invited to the party.

Prior to the arrest: Lindsay Lohan said this week that her relationship with Samantha Ronson didn't work because they were both "toxic." I wish that were all that happened to her this week.

Cougar Town: Tonight is the end of Logo's series DTLA, and it stars Melanie Griffith and Sandra Bernhard as exes. Melanie's new GF is played by ex-Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston, proving she doesn't have a type.

Jeff Rivera: will.i.am on Working With Britney Spears (Interview)

It seems like there isn't a top artist in the music industry that wouldn't kill for a chance to work with him. With countless Billboard hits and tens of millions of albums and downloads sold, will.i.am has fast-become the go-to guy when an artist wants to launch or relaunch their career.

From Michael Jackson to Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj to U2 -- will.i.am is the cream of the crop. You might think that he is jaded after working with only the best, yet when he had the opportunity to work with the one and only Britney Spears again, he jumped at the chance.

2012-11-27-532227_10151275778178606_390238668_n.jpg

Their new single, "Scream & Shout", is sure to be a chart and club favorite and ignite the crowds in stadiums for both of their fan bases.

I had the opportunity to ask will.i.am about their collaboration, and what his advice is for those wishing to follow in his footsteps.

You are one of the most in-demand producers of your generation, and you could launch or relaunch virtually anyone's career. So, why Britney?

Britney, to me, is an icon. She's one of the last major icons that the music industry has launched. There are big acts, believe me there are, but for our generation, she's unstoppable. Britney can fill stadiums, and I don't want to compare her to another artist like Madonna, but she's our generation's Madonna in terms of the way that she changes as an artist, yet stays true to the Britney we love. The [Black-Eyed] Peas, started out as an underground group, and by that time Britney was already huge. I became a lifetime fan of hers after "Toxic," so to get a chance to work with her again was just amazing.

What is your songwriting process like for Scream & Shout?

There's no one way our songs come together. That's the fun of the creative process. For me, in this case, the beat was brought to me by a dude named Lazy J from Belgium and Jean Baptist. I couldn't have done it without them. When I put together a song, I think about how the song is going to be listened to. You know, maybe it could be after a Lakers' game and they cut to commercial on TV, and there's our song, or maybe it's somewhere else. I really think about the audience's experience when I put my music together. This song was no different.

I'm really impressed by how humble you are and that it's all about the music. You recently tweeted to MC Hammer, thanking him for meeting you when you were 14-years-old. What was that about?

Yeah, I got a chance to meet Hammer when I was 14 and somehow I got backstage. I was dressed in these polka dot hammer pants and his security just thought I was part of the crew, so they let me back there. That's when I got to meet him for the first time and he was so nice to meet, I just thought to myself, "If I ever get to be that successful, I want to stay cool like that." So, years later, when I turned about 30, I got to meet him again and he completely remembered me and my polka dot outfit. He just has this incredible memory.

What advice do you have for those who want to be where you are in your career?
Pick someone you admire and think about where they left off, and how you can pick up where they were. You need to think 10 steps ahead of them. Artists also need to learn to not just rely on other people's platforms like YouTube and Billboard and iTunes. They need to create their own platforms. That way you'll be ahead of the curve.

WATCH: 'Boy Meets World' Embodies Lindsay Lohan As Liz Taylor

Danielle Fishel has a lot on her plate, with the upcoming "Boy Meets World" spin-off, "Girl Meets World," and her hosting duties on The Style Network. But that doesn't mean the one-time child star doesn't have time to pay tribute to another one-time child star and her one-time role as Liz Taylor.

For an episode of E!'s "The Soup," Fishel played Lindsay Lohan playing Liz Taylor, E! News reported.

Well, "Lizdsay Taylorhan" to be exact.

Fishel certainly got the look down -- with a thick black wig and even thicker red lipstick. She also got the melodramatic acting down -- from weeping sobs to a hoarse British accent to perfected bottle-throwing. Instead of Richard Burton, the object of Fishel's affection is "Soup" host Joel McHale.

By the end of it, the 90s star is so absorbed in her character that she actually becomes Lindsay (and creeps viewers out with a pregnant, wide-eyed stare into the lens).

Fishel shared her "process" with fans.

'The Killing' Lives? Writers Are Back At Work

"The Killing" might get a Season 3. About five months after AMC canceled the low-rated drama, "The Killing" may be revived, according to Variety.

In early November reports surfaced that AMC and Netflix could continue the drama starring Mireille Enos, now Variety reports Veena Sud and executive producers Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin are back to work on a third season of the drama. The new season will likely premiere in May. Variety reports the Netflix negotiations have not been finalized.

No cast is confirmed, according to Variety.

"The Killing" premiered on AMC in April 2011 with strong ratings -- 2.7 million viewers tuned in to see the start of the "Who killed Rosie Larsen?" mystery. However, the numbers began to slip and after the Season 1 finale failed to answer that question, viewers fled the series in Season 2. The second season kicked off with 1.8 million viewers and the finale dropped to 1.5 million.

AMC recently renewed "Hell On Wheels" for a third season, but then announced its pickup was on hold after showrunner John Shiban left the series while the network searches for a replacement.

Request for comment from AMC was not immediately returned.

Ricky Martin: 'A Serious Pebiscite Is Due In Puerto Rico'

$

At a time when statehood supporters in Puerto Rico are seeing new allies pop up in states like Ohio, helping to push their agenda in front of the U.S. Congress, one of island's best-known, Ricky Martin, is calling for a democratic movement that truly represents Puerto Ricans.

The singer and actor in the recent Broadway musical "Evita" says he's convinced the last referendum election doesn't reflect public sentiment.

“It is so mixed," the Puerto Rican star told The Huffington Post Thursday night during a meeting with reporters in his dressing room. "It is apparent but is not. I think democracy must be respected. We must have a plebiscite, a serious plebiscite, where a simple question of 'Yes' or 'No' is answered.”

In the second question of a two-part, non-binding referendum on Nov. 6, Puerto Ricans were asked if they wanted to become a state, an independent country or a freely associated sovereign state. A majority of those who answered the question favored statehood, but some 480,000 voters cast blank ballots -- presumably because they favored remaining a commonwealth. If the blank ballots are counted, statehood only won 45 percent of the vote. Many people have criticized the vote because there were so many abstentions.

“Us Puerto Ricans must go and practice our democracy and let our voice be heard, and then bring it to the Congress of the United States,” Martin added, voicing his criticism of the referendum.

But he clarified that his opinion is not political, but is instead about a personal concern regarding the transparency of the election process in the U.S. territory.

“Right now it's very confusing. I am not going to say what I am up for, I am just going to say that this is a serious matter and we must be serious about a good healthy plebiscite,” Martin said.

The artist has become a prominent celebrity human rights defender. Currently, he manages the Ricky Martin Foundation, fighting against sexual exploitation, and he is now the lead spokesperson for Viva Glam, an initiative created by the makeup house MAC Cosmetics, raising awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS victims.

The actor is also in the middle of a career transition, recently announcing his plans to become a judge in the Australian edition of the upcoming TV talent reality show “The Voice," early next year.

But these commitments don't prevent him from being politically active. Martin worked for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign and the singer is optimistic that the next four years will bring new hope for Latinos.

“The re-election of our president for me was nothing but light. I'm sorry, but it was really scary if it went the other way, it was going to be like going back in time,” Martin said. “As a Latino Puerto Rican U.S. citizen that can vote for the president, it was very beautiful to see minorities getting together for democracy, for freedom, for civil rights. We are part of this country and we move this country as well. We have a voice. And apparently we were very loud.”
