Crystal Bell: 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 14 Premiere: Introducing William Levy

$

By the time I made it halfway through the "Dancing With the Stars" Season 14 premiere, I realized that this season, the scores are absolutely pointless.

The judges -- Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli -- all praised this year's contestants for having the best "Dancing With the Stars" debut on record, but were the stars really that good? Or is it finally time for new judges?

I'm thinking it's the latter. I still can't believe that not one celebrity received a total score less than 20. That's just ridiculous, especially since there were more than a few stars that deserved it (ahem, Gavin DeGraw, Melissa Gilbert and Martina Navratilova).

Tom Bergeron -- the true MVP of the night -- mentioned that during rehearsals, each pair is critiqued by a group of stand-in judges and that Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno only come to play for the live shows. Maybe it's time for the stand-ins to step in for the real judges because I think they've actually forgotten how to judge. The fact that multiple nines were handed out during the premiere means that they've really lost their edge.

Although, I will take whatever happy pills Carrie Ann seems to be on.

Now, let's talk about the dancing. There was one true star in the ballroom, and you may be surprised to know that ... well, you don't really know him at all. William Levy -- a.k.a. the Latin Brad Pitt -- not only spiced up the dance floor, but he also captured more than a few hearts with his suave attitude and sultry cha-cha-cha.

He's sexy, and he knows it. His partner Cheryl Burke knows it. Carrie Ann knows it. Bruno knows it. The audience knows it. ABC knows it. Brad Pitt knows it. And yes, Tom knows it too.

Bruno even called him the "hottest package of the season." And, unlike last season's Elisabetta Canalis, William actually has a personality, which makes him easy on the eyes and completely charming.

Could one man be so incredibly good looking that he single-handedly just sealed the deal on his victory? Possibly. After all, he does have a rabid telenovela following.

Judges' score: 24

Surprisingly, William didn't clinch the victory with that score. There were two other stars that out-shined his Latin charm.

Now let's examine how everyone else fared on their first night in the ballroom.

Maria Menounous & Derek Hough
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
I'll admit that I'm not Derek Hough's biggest fan, but I do appreciate the fact that he can laugh at his good fortune. "I'm Derek Hough, and I want as many Mirror Ball trophies as I do chest hairs -- and that's four."

Okay Derek, we get it. You're talented, cute and funny. And then there's Maria. She's a self-described "dude with boobs," and she just might have the most annoying laugh in the history of TV.

But at least she can dance. Sure, she's not the best, but with a little help from Derek, I'm pretty sure that she'll be a top contender in a matter of weeks.

In other news, it took me a solid minute before I realized that Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" was their cha-cha-cha song. That house band never fails to confuse me with their bizarre arrangements.

And as always, Bruno turned his crtiques into a way to talk about sex. Duh. What else is Bruno good for?

Judges' score: 21

Jack Wagner & Anna Trebunskaya
Dance: Foxtrot
I'm not going to lie. I didn't really know who Jack Wagner was before watching him on "Dancing With the Stars," but I have to say, the former "Melrose Place" star is quite a fox -- and he's got some moves.

His only problem? He gets hard on himself which, as Chynna Phillips proved last season, can be problematic. However, watching Jack and Anna on the dance floor was kind of adorable (in a father-daughter dance kind of way).

Halfway through their cutesy foxtrot, my roommate turned to me and said, "I feel like we're watching 'Big Fish: The Musical.'" Yep. That was kind of what it looked like.

It was a little slow, but still enjoyable. Carrie Ann, on her best happy drugs, praised the duo for their playfulness, but Len had to bring the party to an end. He said that Jack's footwork was poor, and that his technique -- unlike his charm -- left much to be desired.

Judges' score: 23

Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
Donald Driver is no Hines Ward, but he's no Metta World Peace either, and that's a very good thing. However, I have to admit that I was slightly more captivated with his unusually skinny chicken legs than I was with his cha-cha-cha.

His moves were pretty sharp, and there were definitely some signs that he had naturally talent, but I'm still not sure he has what it takes to make it to the end. He has the charisma, but sometimes your personality can only take you so far and his excitement on the dance floor was a bit of a turn-off for the judges.

But it was a definite crowd-pleaser, as Donald received the first standing ovation of the night.

Judges' score: 21

Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Foxtrot
Oh Gavin. You've got awkward white boy syndrome. Watching Gavin try and do the foxtrot with reigning Mirror Ball champ Karina was like watching a high school boy trying to dance at the prom. Super awkward.

So out of my love for Gavin -- and his hit single "I Don't Want to Be," which is still one of my most-played songs on iTunes -- I wrote him a letter.

Dear Gavin,
My 14-year-old self really loves you. She also really wants you to win this competition because she has your picture on her wall. However, my 22-year-old self thinks that your dancing leaves much to be desired.

In other words, if you don't really improve next week, I think that you might be in danger of going home. So, you have two choices: You can either learn how to accurately move your feet, or you can go home. And yes, I'll play "Not Over You" in your honor.

Love,
Crystal

However, I will say that Gavin's performance is definitely more in-tune with what week one performances should look like. I mean, come on judges, they can't all be perfect! There needs to be signs of improvement from week-to-week or else there's not fun. Look at Rob Kardashian last season -- in the beginning, everyone counted him out, and look, he made it all the way to the finals.

Could Gavin DeGraw be the new Rob Kardashian? My 14-year-old self really hopes so. Meanwhile, my 22-year-old self still can't believe Gavin told the crowd that he was "in the middle of a pretty sandwich right now." Ugh. Awkward white boy syndrome.

Judges' score: 20

Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
Is it too early to have a favorite? Because I think Roshon may have just captured my heart. Is that inappropriate considering that he's 20 years old? Maybe. But seriously, just give this kid a ticket to the finals. He's youthful, fun, energetic and most important of all, exciting to watch.

Roshon is the Lena Dunham of "Dancing With the Stars": He's the voice -- or, feet -- of his generation. You know, the One Direction generation.

Also, the house band played The Wanted's "Glad You Came." Roshon + The Wanted? That's pretty much every teen's dream come true. Smart move, ABC.

Judges' score: 23

Sherri Shepherd & Val Chermerkovskiy
Dance: Foxtrot
Sherri Shepherd, like last season's Carson Kressley, has one giant personality, and it definitely transcended to the dance floor. The "View" co-host admits that elegance isn't necessarily her strong suit. In fact, at one point she shouted, "I'm elegance! Let me out!"

Her dancing wasn't that bad either. She had fun with the foxtrot, and I couldn't think of a more perfect partner for her than Val. He's the calmer, gentler Chermerkovskiy brother. They're a bit of an odd couple, but Sherri has enough personality for the both of them.

Sherri is really the cutest, especially when she goes over to give her son a kiss. Of course, this makes Carrie Ann exclaim, "YOU ARE THE HAPPIEST CONTESTANT THAT WE'VE HAD IN ALL 14 SEASONS!" Excuse me, but I'll take whatever Carrie Ann -- and Sherri -- are having.

It's only after Sherri exclaimed, "Jesus is good," that I realized that Sherri Shepherd isn't this season's Carson. She's really the Tim Tebow of "Dancing With the Stars."

Judges' score: 23

Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
Eek! This might just be the most disastrous pair of the season. Melissa Gilbert is a bit of a nervous wreck, but hopefully Maks will be able to calm her nerves.

(Side note: The amount of clothing Maks wears in inversely proportional to the level of confidence he has in his partner.)

Maks pretty much dragged Melissa across the stage like he was pulling Laura Ingalls by her pigtails. It was scary, and when Melissa hesitated during her first drop, I actually thought Maks was going to break her. Obviously, Melissa was nervous, and it certainly showed on the dance floor, but she was also challenged with more ambitious footwork.

And we get it Melissa. You were on "Little House in the Prairie." You don't have to remind us every minute.

Judges' score: 20

Martina Navratilova & Tony Dovolani
Dance: Foxtrot
Martina doesn't do heels. She doesn't do dresses. In fact, she hasn't worn a dress in 20 years. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting the tennis star to wow me in the ballroom.

Martina definitely stumbled on the dance floor -- more than a few times -- but it's hard to hate on someone who is so genuine and honest. Not to mention I think Tony, having been on the show for 13 seasons now, definitely deserves a win sometime soon. Sadly, I don't think he'll find his eternal Mirror Ball glory with Martina.

Sigh.

Judges' score: 20

Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas
Dance: Foxtrot
Katherine is a new face to America, which may hurt her when it comes to relying on the public's vote. After all, we know that "Dancing With the Stars" is really just a popularity contest at this point.

However, after tonight's performance, the British opera singer may be one of the best dancers Season 14 has to offer. She's a total natural, and her foxtrot looked completely effortless. Oh, and did I mention that she's also gorgeous? After last season's early elimination, Mark might have found himself a winner.

Somewhere, I bet Derek Hough is pulling out one of his four chest hairs in frustration.

Judges' score: 26

Gladys Knight & Tristan MacManus
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
"I'm Tristan MacManus, and I'm the hot one in 'Dancing With the Stars.'" Truer words have never been spoken. Yes Tristan, you are the hot one, and hopefully, your legions of fangirls will help you stay to the end.

Of course, it helps when your partner is a living music legend.

Gladys Knight is by far the sassiest woman to ever step on the "Dancing With the Stars" dance floor. She also has the most natural rhythm out of the bunch. What can I say? This legend has moves.

But the best part of her cha-cha-cha was the amount of fun she was having on the dance floor. You can tell that she's a performer because when you put Gladys Knight in front of a crowd of people, she shines.

I'm just going to say it. I'm totally Team Gladys and Tristan -- and I think the judges are, too.

Judges score: 23

Jaleel White & Kym Johnson
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
They say that you save the best for last, and that was totally true tonight. Jaleel White may have just secured a spot in the finals because his moves were really impressive. But, I mean, what else could you expect from Urkel? Whoops! Did I do that?

Jaleel White wants everyone to know one thing: He's not Steve Urkel, and he made that very clear, so if you're waiting for him to bust out the Urkel dance, you might end up waiting for a very long time.

Jaleel is hands-down one of the best dancers in the competition, and when it comes to voting, he's also got legions of fans. It's pretty much a win-win for Jaleel and Kym.

Of course, anyone that's seen Cee Lo's music video for "Cry Baby" knows that he has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Judges' score: 26

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

Katy Perry Boards EuroStar With New Boy

It's Team Black and Blue over here as Katy Perry and her entourage of darkly clad boys prepare to board the Eurostar on Monday. Katy's blue hairdo isn't anything new, but her latest accessory is: rumored boyfriend Baptiste Giabiconi. Though the two made sure not to be photographed together, they can be seen boarding the same train in the below pics from photo agency Bauer Griffin.

The 22-year-old French model (only the face of Chanel, ahem) was reportedly seen exiting Perry's Paris hotel last week, sparking rumors that Perry had quickly moved on since finalizing her divorce from Russell Brand earlier this year.

Robert DeNiro Raises 'White First Lady' Question

WASHINGTON -- Actor Robert DeNiro stumped for President Barack Obama on Monday night, joking that the country may not be ready for the white culture that each of the GOP presidential candidates would bring into the White House.

"Callista Gingrich. Karen Santorum. Ann Romney. Now do you really think our country is ready for a white First Lady?" DeNiro asked a crowd of Obama supporters, according to a White House pool report. DeNiro was hosting a fundraiser with Michelle Obama at his New York City restaurant, Locanda Verde.

The crowd "roared" in response to DeNiro's question, according to the pool report, and DeNiro said back, "Too soon, right?"

DeNiro's wife Grace Hightower also warmed up the crowd ahead of the First Lady's remarks. She ticked off Obama's accomplishments in the last three years and said he was up against "vampire energies" as he tried to get things done. Hightower also raved about Michelle Obama being "a stunner ... Even Republicans can agree with that."

Several high-profile celebrities turned out for the event, including Harvey Weinstein, Beyonce, Whoopi Goldberg, Gayle King, Angela Bassett and Ben Stiller. The pool reporter also spotted Star Jones, "who lounged on a leather couch." About 85 people were at the event and paid at least $5,000 apiece to attend.

President Obama and the First Lady have one thing in common when it comes to giving speeches: someone in the audience passes out. At Monday's event, the pool report notes that someone appeared to be on the verge of fainting and had to be taken to a couch to sit down.

'Two And A Half Men' Resurrects Charlie Sheen's Character

"Two and a Half Men" fans haven't seen the last of Charlie Harper, the now-deceased (and dust-busted) character that ex-castmember Charlie Sheen made famous.

But Sheen isn't returning to his former TV home. Instead, CBS has announced that they've cast someone else to play his ghost ... and it's not who you'd expect.

"Harry's Law" star Kathy Bates will stop by the CBS show (both "Men" and "Law" are Warner Bros. productions) in the April 30 episode as the ghost of Sheen's Charlie Harper. That ghost will be visiting Charlie's brother Alan (Jon Cryer), who'll suffer a minor heart attack in the episode.

Sheen's character was killed off of the series at the start of this season after the actor's very public battle with series creator Chuck Lorre. They've had fun winking and nodding about Sheen's issues ever since, but we can't wait to see what excuse they'll have for why he looks so different in the afterlife.

"Men," now in its ninth season, has been revitalized in many ways this year with Sheen's departure and Ashton Kutcher's arrival, although it's still unknown whether or not Kutcher (or the show) will return for a tenth season.

PHOTOS: How Diego Luna And Gael Garcia Bernal Crossed Over

This past weekend, Mexican actors Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna co-star alongside comedian Will Ferrell in his subtitled, todo en espanol, satirical latest: Casa De Mi Padre, (Spanish for My Father’s House).

A rip on telenovelas -- a “soap opera” staple of Spanish language television -- the love triangles, backstabbing family members and overacting provides plenty of material for parody.

And, like a handful of Latin American actors who have successfully crossed over into the U.S. mainstream (i.e. Sofia Vergara, Salma Hayek, and Penelope Cruz to name a few) -- Bernal and Luna are no strangers to cinema.

Real-life childhood friends, Garcia and Luna are most recognized for their steamy roles in the critically acclaimed coming-of-age film Y Tu Mama Tambien, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film in 2002.

Individually, Luna has appeared to U.S. audiences in films, The Terminal, Frida and Milk, and, most recently, the villain in Contraband with Mark Walberg.

Bernal has appeared in Amores Perros, portrayed a young Che Guevara in The Motorcycle Diaries, Bad Education and The Science of Sleep.

In a profile by Cynthia Ellis for the Huffington Post, the pair have created their own film company and the first traveling documentary film festival in Mexico: the Ambulante Festival.

For Bernal, "The collective experience of watching a great film together in a room is a transcendent moment that will never die. Canana and Ambulante are a way to give back but also honestly, to take, because we get so much out of it. I know I do."

Given their acting range and upcoming release, let’s take a look back at their careers:

LAS VEGAS -- Singer Celine Dion says she is recovering from a virus that caused an inflammation of her vocal cords and is planning to return to the stage in Las Vegas soon.

Dion said in a statement Monday that she received good news last week during a follow-up examination with her doctor in Los Angeles.

She says she should be fully recovered by mid-April. That's when she hopes to start recording songs for her new English and French albums.

Dion announced last month that she was cancelling her shows at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace until June 9 because of her illness.

The singer of romantic odes including "My Heart Will Go On" and "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" returned to Caesars Palace a year ago for a three-year engagement.

How A 'Painful' Divorce Helped Rachael Harris Nab Her New Role

$

To comedy fans, Rachael Harris is arguably best known as Melissa, Ed Helms' haranguing fiancee in 2009's "The Hangover."

But in the recently released "Natural Selection," the former "Daily Show" correspondent plays it serious as Linda, a Christian housewife with fertility problems who learns of her stroke-ridden husband's estranged son -- and treks out to find him.

The 44-year-old actress told Hollywood.com Monday that it was the pain of her divorce from actor Adam Paul, two years prior to filming "Natural Selection," that helped her get into character and land the role of Linda.

"It was still really… I don’t know if you’ve ever been through that, but for me, it was a huge transition. It was really painful. I had conflicting feelings about it. I knew it was the right thing to do, but I still loved my husband tremendously," Harris said, adding that she found Linda's realization that she was was living alone especially relatable:

When I went back to my house, and the house was completely empty -- I had moved out when my husband figured out what he was going to do, and then I moved back into the house, and everything of his was gone -- there’s a moment in the film when Linda goes back to the house and she’s brushing her teeth. And that moment when -- she has a double-sink -- she has to turn the other sink on to feel okay, I completely related to that. That floored me. There’s this quiet emptiness that is awful.

Harris, who'll next co-star in an untitled pilot for CBS produced by "Bridesmaids" actress Melissa McCarthy, married Paul in 2003. The couple called it quits in 2008.

"Natural Selection" is currently out out in select theaters.

21 Jump Street took the box office by storm this weekend, raking in $35 million.

I chatted with Jonah Hill at SXSW in Austin, Texas, where the film premiered. Hill described this five-year passion project, which he also co-wrote, as "Bad Boys meets a John Hughes movie."

The cast members also shared their thoughts on connecting with fans in this age of digital technology. "There's too much access to knowing things about a film before you see it," Hill shared. "There's not a lot of surprise anymore, which sucks."

Dave Franco talked about how the digital world has changed movies, saying he makes videos with his friends and posts them on Funny or Die: "If you have a video on that site that happens to be successful, more people could potentially see it than if you did an independent movie -- which is crazy."

'The Bold And The Beautiful' Celebrates 25th Anniversary

The beloved soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" celebrated its 25th anniversary on Monday, a particularly significant milestone in light of the fact that fellow soaps "All My Children" and "One Life To Live" saw their decades-long runs come to an end earlier this year.

"The Talk" (weekdays on CBS) gathered many of show's cast-members to celebrate the milestone. The guests included the soap's most seasoned veterans, Katherine Kelly Lang and and John McCook, who have each been on the "The Bold and the Beautiful" since it first premiered 25 years ago. "I'm proud, I feel blessed to be a part of something so wonderful," Lang said wistfully.

"It's almost the antithesis of being an actor: you're going to play the same part for 25 years. You go, 'No, actors are supposed to play many different roles,' and you think that can't be wonderful, but it really is," McCook reflected.

Later, "The Talk" wheeled out a giant celebratory cake, and actress Alley Mills popped out from inside of it, wielding her character Pam Douglas's infamous poisoned lemon bars. She offered them to the cast, but they knew better than to accept; fortunately "The Talk" had cake and champagne on hand to celebrate.

Johnny Depp & Marilyn Manson Making Music Together

Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp have teamed up to cover Carly Simon's 1972 hit "You're So Vain," HuffPost Entertainment exclusively reports.

The controversial singer and eccentric actor have long been friends. Depp invited Manson to be his guest at a "Pirates Of The Caribbean" premiere, and now, it seems, they've sung a duet.

Their cover of "You're So Vain" will be included on Manson's upcoming album, Born Villain, due out May 1. (Listen to "No Reflection," the first single off the album, below.)

The collaboration is not the first between the two pop culture icons, as a remix of Manson's song "The Nobodies" was featured in Depp's 2001 film, "From Hell."

Manson has been busy prepping the album, which is his eighth studio release. Though he's known as a prince of the alternative scene, Manson has enjoyed a great deal of commercial success, including three platinum and two Billboard number one albums.

"The Beautiful People," perhaps Manson's best known song, caused a sensation when it was released in 1996. The track features a Trent Reznor-assisted, industrial style that pushed alternative and metal further into the popular consciousness.

'HIMYM': Robin And Lily Kiss, Then Ted And Marshall Kiss

$

Barney and Quinn's relationship was moving a little too fast for the rest of the gang on "How I Met Your Mother" (Mon., 8 p.m. ET on CBS), so the ultimately staged a "Quinntervention," filled with plenty of puns on her name. It all came to a head after a disastrous dinner party saw her ordering Barney around. They were concerned she was taking advantage of him and his wallet as she'd done before their relationship changed.

She'd admittedly been using her same stripper routine on him as she did on other men to get as much money out of them as possible, but things seem to have genuinely changed between them. After she walked in on the "Quinntervention," she just as quickly stormed out and broke up on Barney because she couldn't believe he was ashamed to tell his friends what she did for a living.

But it was all a ruse orchestrated by the two of them to mess with the gang. The kicker on Quinn's part was to announce that they were moving in together, so that her apartment would be available and she could watch in glee as Ted and Robin fought over it. After giving Marshall and Lily his apartment, both Ted and Robin have been in temporary living arrangements.

But by the end of the episode, the ruse had been revealed. Barney made his friends vow to never meddle in his life again before revealing the trickery, going so far as to force Robin and Lily to kiss -- though Lily didn't seem forced at all on that one -- as well as Marshall and Ted.

As it turns out, the idea of moving in together went from part of the hoax to a real idea, and Quinn's apartment legitimately did come up. At the same time, though, Robin got promoted to on-air personality, complete with a big fat raise, so she found a place of her own. So Quinn's old place gets to become Ted's new place.

The teaser for the future saw Ted telling his kids that the moment he and Robin decided they could just be normal again was actually the last time he'd see her for a while. Find out why as "How I Met Your Mother" continues Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Surprising Hobbies Of Stars During Their Downtime

$
0
0

With their scads of money and high-stress lifestyles, it makes sense that celebrities would invest heavily in hobbies and leisure activities that help them unwind after a hard day at work. Here are some of the more interesting and unexpected hobbies of some of our favourite famous people.

Rod Stewart
Collecting model trains
The “Do You Think I’m Sexy” singer has been collecting and assembling model trains for many years now (we think it’s a far more appropriate pastime for a man of his age than his previous hobby of collecting supermodels…badaboom!) After Stewart’s handiwork appeared on the cover of a model train magazine, he said, “ "It means more to me to be on the cover of Model Railroader than to be on the cover of a music magazine.”

Tom Cruise
Fencing
The Top Gun is also a top blade. Tom Cruise is so enamoured by the gentleman’s sport of fencing that he even brought his pals Will Smith and David Beckham on board. “Tom has a room for training,” Smith told the Daily Mirror. “We don’t get enough time to hang out, just us three guys, so this is his way of getting together and bonding.” Rumour has it that Cruise and Katie Holmes are also big fans of Scrabble. Imagine getting “quinte” on a triple word score!

Susan Sarandon
Ping pong
Susan Sarandon loves to play tennis -- table tennis, that is. The Academy Award-winning actress adores the freedom that game offers for you to just be, well, yourself. “In ping-pong, you don’t have to wear somebody’s else’s shoes, like in bowling. You can wear whatever you want,” enthuses Sarandon, who is one of several partners in the SPiN Galactic chain, a social club for ping-pong enthusiasts with locations in New York City, Milwaukee and Toronto.

Jay Leno
Collecting cars
Many of us are lucky enough to have one or maybe even two cars. Jay Leno has over eighty cars and just as many motorcycles. The jewels of Leno’s collections are his classic cars, which include a 1951 Hudson Hornet, a bulletproof 1940 Plymouth Super Deluxe Business Coupe and a va-va-voom fire engine red 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa. On the modern side, he's the proud owner of a sleek 2005 Ford GT that is one of only 4,038 built. What do you think the guy pays in insurance alone?

David Arquette
Knitting
Mr. Arquette frequently gets in touch with his feminine and slightly grandmotherly side by taking up a pair of needles and knitting and purling his stresses away. We can’t help but wonder if the reason his marriage to Courtney Cox collapsed was because he gave her yet another itchy scarf for her birthday. But Arquette isn't alone in this one -- other surprising celebrity knitters include Joan Crawford, Felicity Huffman, Geri Halliwell and Russell Crowe.

Mila Kunis
World of Warcraft
As if we didn’t love this woman enough already! The beautiful and talented Kunis is a huge World of Warcraft nerd and was so addicted to it that she actually had to quit for a time. Miss Kunis, you can join our guild anytime!

Bob Barker
Karate
You definitely don’t want to get on this exuberant retired game-show host’s bad side. Bob Barker is apparently a black belt in karate and has studied under none other than…Mr. Chuck Norris. (We couldn’t make this up if we tried.) Okay, okay -- we will absolutely have our pets spayed and neutered if it keeps you happy, Bob!

Johnny Depp
Playing with Barbies
Johnny Depp is a man’s man! A dude’s dude! Johnny Depp is deeply and awesomely secure in his masculinity! So it’s totally cool by us that he likes Barbies. “I do like playing with Barbies,” the actor revealed. “It’s a great thing to do with your kids. Once, I was exploring different characters with the Barbies and my daughter didn’t like it. At one point she said, ‘Dad, please just stop, don’t do that, just do your regular voice.’” Would that be his Willy Wonka regular voice or his Jack Sparrow regular voice?

Taylor Swift
Making snowglobes
It'll likely come as no surprise to anyone that the twee country singer enjoys delicate things, but who would have thought that she was so crafty -- or for that matter, actually had time to make crafts? But as Swift showcased on her Facebook page last year, her talents apparently extend to fully encased idyllic scenes of winter. Do we hear a next single?

Seth Meyers
Comic books
Well, the head writer for "Saturday Night Live" has to get his inspiration somewhere, doesn't he? Meyers readily admits that he buys comics less for their collectors' value and more just to read them -- and perhaps to find future job opportunities. He and co-worker Bill Hader wrote a one-off Spider-Man comic book in 2009.

You know that impersonation you do really, really well? For Frank, his jam has always been Maestro Fresh Wes' "Let Your Backbone Slide," the classic tune from the Canadian MC legend that is pretty much a staple at any karaoke party.

So some friends decided to do him a favour -- and let him demonstrate to Maestro in person his mad skills. And then, of course, hand it over to the master.

Impressively, the bride and groom didn't seem to mind standing on the sidelines at their own wedding too much, as can be seen in this video of the full performance by another friend, but that might not always be the case for folks when famous people show up at their nuptials.

As for Frank, who, according to his YouTube description, grew up wanting to be a basketball player or an MC, who thinks Maestro is "a dope MC and a true gentleman," maybe it's time to start shooting hoops at the next get together. You never know who might show up.

What do Amanda Seyfried, AnnaSophia Robb and Dakota Fanning have in common? With long yellow hair, big eyes and fair skin, these ladies keep the paparazzi on their toes, guessing who's who.

But Amanda, AnnaSophia and Dakota aren't the only ones who have doppelgangers among the celebrity set. From Nina Dobrev, Victoria Justice and Emmanuelle Chriqui to Benicio Del Toro, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem, Hollywood certainly has its types.
