Here's Your First Look At Lifetime's Aaliyah Biopic

Lifetime's Aaliyah biopic has undergone quite a bit of changes and controversy over the past few months. First, Zendaya dropped out of the lead role, which she later revealed was because of the movie's production value and issues with the music rights. Nickelodeon star Alexandra Shipp replaced Zendaya and then the late R&B singer's family voiced their reservations and issues with the film. Yet production has continued moving forward and now we have our first look at it.

Lifetime posted a short teaser of the movie, titled "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B," to their Facebook page on Friday. In it, Shipp dances in baggy camo pants, Timberlands and a sports bra -- a signature Aaliyah look. Check out the promo below:

"Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B" premieres on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.

Middle School Football Team's 'Ugly Kardashian' Trick Play Works Beautifully (VIDEO)

How about a reality show about trick plays named after reality show stars?

This first episode could feature Lewis and Clark Middle School of Jefferson City, Missouri and its trick play dubbed "The Ugly Kardashian." It worked like a charm recently against Thomas Jefferson, MaxPreps reported.

In a video (above) sure to inspire other gimmickry, quarterback Atiq Muhammad took the ball from the center and raised it up as if to show the referee. He walked through the defensive line while pointing at the ref, then sprinted untouched into the end zone for a touchdown.

"Between the name of the play and the execution of it, this may be one of the best trick plays ever," Bleacher Report enthused.

Lewis and Clark Coach Shawn Griggs told MaxPreps that his players couldn't stop laughing when he came up with the name. But luckily he didn't make good on a threat to change it. "Football is supposed to be fun," he said. "So the name stayed."

One Deadspin reader had perhaps the best (and not so middle-school-appropriate) line: "Not impressed. The Ugly Kardashian is always the easiest one to score with."

Reporter's Interview With Kristen Wiig And Bill Hader Is Hilariously Awkward

This reporter probably should've seen "The Skeleton Twins" before he interviewed the film's stars, Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. But if he had, we wouldn't have this hilariously awkward moment.

News anchor Chris Parente starts off his interview with Hader and Wiig by asking them to describe the film's plot. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Parente asks Wiig, "Kristen, I am thinking, on this program, of doing the news completely full-frontal, completely nude. Do you recommend that? Do you have advice for going nude?"

Wiig, like everyone else, was completely thrown off by the question: "Um, do I have advice for going nude?"

When Parente says, "You do it in the film!" Wiig quickly catches onto his mistake.

"Not this movie. That's a different movie," Wiig clarifies, referring to her nude scene in "Welcome To Me."

The "Bridesmaids" actress ended up saving the totally awkward moment, listing off ridiculous plot twists that never actually happen in "The Skeleton Twins." Luckily, Parente was interviewing two actors with a sense of humor.

Ariana Grande Performs 'Break Free' On 'SNL,' Confirms Cat Ears Are A Thing Now

Ariana Grande performed "Break Free" on "Saturday Night Live" last night while inexplicably wearing cat ears. It's not October yet. This was not an early Halloween performance or even a cat-themed performance. Although, it is a thing she has done before and presumably will continue to do without explanation beyond implied homage to her Nickelodeon character. Either way, it seems that Ariana Grande wearing cat ears is just another thing we have to accept now, much like Ariana Grande wearing her hair in a high ponytail and the impermanent nature of human existence. Watch her performance below.

Robert Plant Performs Doo-Wop With The Help Of Jimyy Fallon And An iPad

Robert Plant stopped by "The Tonight Show" on Friday, in promotion of his recently released solo album, "Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar." As he did with Billy Joel, Jimmy Fallon enlisted the Led Zeppelin singer's talents to form a two-man doo-woop group, with the assistance of the iPad app Loopy.

"This looks like one of them funny shops in Amsterdam!" Plant joked as he was handed the chrome microphone. Building up layer by layer, the duo put together a brief, enchanting rendition of Gene Chandler's 1962 hit "Duke of Earl," the two switching lead, the Roots eventually providing some extra background harmonies.

Plant then took the stage with his band, the Sensational Space Shifters to perform the songs "Rainbow" and "Turn It Up" off of the new album. Watch the stellar performances below.

Like 98% of human beings, Kim Kardashian has a butt. That statistic is not real, but you have to assume there are probably one or two people walking around who maybe didn't get one. The point is that Kim Kardashian does, by all accounts, have a butt. She also has a husband named Kanye West who likes to grab her butt. Here is a photo of that happening and then other photos (from a shoot for GQ, according to her caption) which further prove Kim Kardashian is one of the 98%* of people on this planet who has a butt.

Jay Z, Beyonce Surprise Crowd, Sound Off On Ending World Poverty At Global Citizen Festival

NEW YORK (AP) — Jay Z is in a global state of mind: The rap star performed Saturday for thousands in New York's Central Park and encouraged the crowd to help end world poverty.

Jay Z headlined the Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn, where Beyonce surprised the audience by performing with her husband. He told the crowd of 60,000 — many of whom earned free tickets by volunteering — to support the Global Citizen Festival's effort to end poverty by 2030.

"We out here for a good cause," he said onstage. "I want to thank everybody out here for this good movement."

Dressed in all black, Jay Z wore a hoodie with the Global Citizen Festival's logo and the names of other headliners, including Carrie Underwood, The Roots, Alicia Keys, Tiesto, fun. and No Doubt, who brought out special guest Sting to perform "Message In a Bottle," a crowd favorite.

Jay Z's electrifying set opened with audio from Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" and Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." The Brooklyn-born rapper then went into his own New York anthem, "Empire State of Mind," and followed it with his rich catalog of hits, from "Big Pimpin" to "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" to "99 Problems."

He left the stage, but moments later the crowd roared as Beyonce entered alongside her husband. She sang the choruses from his songs "Holy Grail" — where she danced excitedly — and "Forever Young" as the audience cheered and sang along.

The concert marked another New York venue that Jay Z — hip-hop's most powerful voice — has performed in. He has had numerous sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, where he held a Sept. 11 benefit show in 2009, and he is one of a few rap acts to perform at Carnegie Hall. He opened the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with eight consecutive shows in 2012.

No Doubt's set included hits such as "Don't Speak" and "Hey Baby," while a pregnant Underwood belted during "Before He Cheats" and "Jesus Take the Wheel," where she was misty-eyed.

The Global Citizen Festival coincides with the U.N. General Assembly meeting. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon were among the world leaders who attended in support of the anti-poverty campaign.

Hugh Jackman hosted the third annual event, which also featured Olivia Wilde and Jessica Alba and aired on MSNBC. Stevie Wonder headlined the festival last year, and Neil Young and Foo Fighters were among the lineup it its inaugural year.

Miley Cyrus, never one to shy away from posting a good ol' topless photo, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a racy shower snapshot after performing "hungover" during her Bangerz tour in Rio de Janeiro.

"Me as @skyferreira @cheythom," Cyrus captioned the photo, in which she's covering her breasts with her hands as makeup runs down her face:

The "Wrecking Ball" songstress shared a selfie earlier in the evening, writing, "most hung over show of all history COMPLETE! Fucking rad crowd in Rio!"

The sake she was sipping on the night before might have something to do with that hangover ...

Still, despite the sexy shower pose, Cyrus is no stranger to topless pics. She has posted many over the course of this year and has posed nude in a handful of magazine spreads.

The Insane 'Family Guy' And 'Simpsons' Crossover Divides Fans

Woo-hoo! The "Family Guy" and "Simpsons" crossover finally happened, but did it turn out to be a major d'oh?

It's no secret that both shows have not always seen eye-to-eye, with "The Simpsons" even sending "South Park" flowers after their two-episode takedown of "Family Guy." So it only seemed natural that the mega-hyped crossover episode consisted largely of "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" taking shots at each other.

One awesome sequence even had Homer Simpson calling out Peter Griffin because the latter's favorite beer tasted like (and actually was) Duff beer.

“This beer tastes exactly like Duff!” said Homer. “It may have been inspired by Duff, but I like to think that it goes in a different direction,” argues Peter, obviously making a reference to the fact that "Family Guy" was inspired by "The Simpsons."

Other highlights include:

'Law & Order: SVU' Takes On Ray Rice, Solange And Jay Z Elevator Scandals

"Law & Order: SVU" is practically founded on the tagline "ripped from the headlines" by taking story inspiration from real-life news.

In this Wednesday's episode of "SVU," "American Disgrace," famous basketball star Shakir “The Shark” Wilkins is accused of rape by a PR employee from his clothing line. Yet the show makes matters even more interesting by borrowing from some of this year's biggest celebrity scandals -- domestic violence discovered via elevator security cameras. "SVU" takes on the Ray Rice elevator assault and the Jay Z and Solange elevator fight in the latest episode to show just how ambiguous scandals can be when there's no audio and only raw camera footage.

"I'm trying to keep the show 10 minutes ahead of the news," "SVU" showrunner Warren Leight told HuffPost Entertainment earlier this month. Leight told us that he wanted to keep the series in tune with the manner in which news leaks now, which is coming more and more from security camera footage released by TMZ (on the show it's call LMZ).

"I loved the idea of just a silent black and white scene, then sound goes out," Leight said. "You kinda wanna know what's going on." The showrunner, who wrote the episode with Julie Martin, revealed that it also tackles the Donald Sterling scandal, but we won't spoil it for you.

Check out an exclusive clip above from the upcoming episode, which shows the silent elevator altercation between Henry Simmons' Shakir and Kelley Missal's Carla Cannon. The episode also features guest appearances by Stacy Keach and Teri Polo.

"Law & Order: SVU" airs Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. ET on NBC.

Taylor Swift Applauds Emma Watson As A Feminist Icon

Taylor Swift wishes she were a young girl with a celebrity like Emma Watson to look up to.

Swift had nothing but praise for Watson while discussing the "Harry Potter" star's United Nations speech about feminism and gender equality on French-Canadian talk show "Tout Le Monde En Parle" on Sunday.

"I wish when I was 12 years old I would've been able to watch a video of my favorite actress explaining in such an intellectual, beautiful, poignant way the definition of feminism because I would've understood it, and then earlier on in my life I would have proudly claimed that I was a feminist because I would have understood what the word means," Swift said.

"So many girls out there say, 'I'm not a feminist' because they think it means something angry or disgruntled or complaining or they picture, like, rioting and picketing. It is not that at all. It just simply means that you believe that women and men should have equal rights and opportunities. To say that you're not a feminist means that you think men should have more rights and opportunities than women. I just think that a lot of girls don't know the definition and the fact that Emma got up and explained it I think is an incredible thing and I'm happy to live in a world where that happened."

taylorfeminsmquotecard

The 24-year-old said she believes the press is part of the gender inequality problem when it pits women against each other with polls like "Who's the Hotter Mama?"

"One thing that I do believe as a feminist is that in order for us to have gender equality we have to stop making it a girl fight," she said. "We have to stop being so interested in seeing girls try to tear each other down. It has to be more about cheering each other on as women."

Swift's take on feminism has certainly evolved over time. In 2012, when the Daily Beast asked Swift if she considers herself a feminist, the country singer responded: "I don’t really think about things as guys versus girls. I never have. I was raised by parents who brought me up to think if you work as hard as guys, you can go far in life."

In August, she explained to the Guardian that as a teenager she misunderstood the concept of feminism to mean "hating men." She credited Lena Dunham as someone who aided her enlightenment.

"Becoming friends with Lena –- without her preaching to me, but just seeing why she believes what she believes, why she says what she says, why she stands for what she stands for –- has made me realize that I’ve been taking a feminist stance without actually saying so," she added.

Comedian Just Needs To Know How Racist McDonald's Wants Its Voice-Overs To Be

In addition to acting in hilarious web originals and performing stand up, comedian Nicole Byer has picked up a lot of voice-over work.

But, as she relayed in a stand-up bit performed at New York venue The Apartment and uploaded to YouTube on Sept. 25, she just can't escape being typecast. It got to the point, she said, where she began walking into recording booths and asking, "How 'black' do you want this?" She cites fast food chain McDonald's as a common offender, and goes on to give some satirical examples of the stereotypes she was asked to portray.

The room fills with laughter at the over-the-top characters she voices. But her commentary speaks to a larger issue experienced by many black entertainers.

"Community" actress Yvette Nicole Brown gave an oft-quoted interview to The Daily Beast in 2012 in which she talked about Hollywood bigwigs asking her to act out racist caricatures on camera.

"Every woman on the planet has sass and smart-ass qualities in them, but it seems sometimes only black women are defined by it," Brown said.

Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI

Amanda Bynes was arrested for driving under the influence, multiple outlets have confirmed.

E! News first reported Bynes was arrested for DUI on Sunday morning at roughly 3:00 a.m. Police "determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance" and charged her with a misdemeanor.

Bynes allegedly stopped the Mercedes she was driving in the middle of an intersection on Van Nuys Boulevard in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, according to TMZ.

She was held on $15,000 bail and released the same day from the Van Nuys, California, station.

A rep for the star was not immediately available for further comment.

The former Nickelodeon star was involuntarily hospitalized for a mental health evaluation last July after she started a fire in the driveway of a California home. The incident came after a reckless endangerment arrest, car accidents, DUI arrests and increasingly erratic behavior.

She was placed on three years' probation in February stemming from a 2012 DUI charge.

Bynes completed a rehab stint and then enrolled part-time at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County. In April, People magazine reported the 28-year-old had gotten her license back, but would "remain under her mother's legal control until at least September."

The duo, whose empire consists of a TV show, cookbooks and a restaurant, released a joint statement about the split on Friday to Memphis news channel WMC News 5:
