Shia LaBeouf Plagiarizes Lena Dunham, Probably Won't Apologize To Her With Skywriting

Shia LaBeouf has not been doing a great job lately. He was recently accused of plagiarizing Daniel Clowes in his film "HowardCantour.com" and then apologized, by plagiarizing a series of apologies, before apologizing by hiring a skywriter. In the latest update of LaBeouf's apparent parody of himself, he has turned to plagiarizing Lena Dunham, inciting a terrifically passive Twitter feud.

When Dunham criticized LaBeouf's latest attempt at forgiveness, he responded by copying and pasting one of Dunham's past apologies from 2012, according to Celebuzz, to which Dunham invoked the name of one "Louis Stevens."

LaBeouf has not apologized to Dunham or any of the other people whose apologies he has stolen, including Jane Goody, porn star Mr. Marcus and some random person on Yahoo answers.

Years from now, it may be revealed that all of this meta plagiarism has been long-form performance art. Although, at the moment it seems the real issue is that Shia has run out of original things to say.

Suggestions for creative non-apologies to Lena include: carving a clever insult into an artisanal block of cheese, hiring a band of American Carrion Beetles to spell out "I'm NOT sorry, Lena" on a hand-woven bathmat, crafting a topiary arrangement in the shape of Allison Williams face or just giving her a single rose.

Katy Perry's Tour Rider Is Full Of Health Food And Wine

Katy Perry celebrated the start of 2014 with a private concert at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace. The Grammy-nominated singer performed a set of her greatest hits to the invited guests, a show that required proper sustenance, according to a rider that was recently obtained by TMZ.

Perry's requirements for the show, TMZ reports, included various fresh vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, celery, and kale, one large basket of tropical fruit, and healthy granola. She also placed a request for low-fat meals without MSG and always with a vegetarian option, as well as snacks of dried figs, whole-grain tortilla chips, and hummus.

It was New Year's Eve, after all, so the 29-year-old singer also asked for three bottles of wine, including two bottles of pinot grigio.

Last month, a rider surfaced for Perry's stay in a hotel with her boyfriend John Mayer. The pair's demands included a director’s chair, an aged bottle of scotch, and a variety of snacks and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have started sharing every moment of their relationship on Instagram and they make for a pretty handsome couple.

Dustin started the fun last night, sharing a picture of a gift that had been sent to Tom from some fans who must have gotten a stand mixer for Christmas. And although I love that Dustin is all about cheat days, I really hope they checked that thing for a switch blade or other contraband before they cut into it.

Celebrity Eyebrows Are Inspiring Us In This Week's Best & Worst Beauty (PHOTOS)

With the start of a new year, most women are itching to try new makeup. While we're all for experimenting with edgier lipstick colors and adventurous eyeliner, none of this matters if you've got jacked-up eyebrows.

The celebs on this week's best beauty list remind us how important brows are to the face. Inspired by Miley Cyrus' bold brows and Aishwarya Rai's perfectly arched brows, we plan on spending this weekend in the mirror with an eyebrow kit.

See which stars are giving us total brow envy (plus more standout hair and makeup) below and tell us what you think.

BEST: Miley Cyrus

miley cyrus

If there's one thing that we're copying from Miley, it's filling in our brows to look just like hers. The "Bangerz" singer looks almost angelic with her casual undercut 'do, wispy lashes, contoured cheeks and matte red lips.

BEST: Aishwarya Rai

aishwarya rai

The L'Oreal Paris ambassador looked breathtaking when launching the brand's new Kajal Magique eyeliner. Rai's smoldering smokey eye balances out her glossy pink lips and black cherry hair color.

BEST: Kate Middleton

kate middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge was definitely in the Christmas spirit. We love how she brought a bit of the green from her elegant hat to her eyes with a subtle smokey shadow. And, of course, she amplified her new mom glow with pink blush and lipstick.

BEST: Elisabeth Röhm

elizabeth rohm

We can't stop gazing into the blue eyes of this "American Hustle" actress. The flecks of green metallic eyeshadow makes her eyes pop, and that red-orange lipstick is absolutely stunning with her retro waves.

BEST: Chrissy Teigen

chrissy teigen

Here's another example of green eye makeup done right. Teigen rang in 2014 alongside her smoking hot hubby (lucky girl!) sporting a peridot smokey eye with her new ombre hair.

WORST: Heidi Klum

heidi klum

This proves that even supermodels have off days. Klum went a bit overboard with the white eyeliner at her waterline. The eye-brightening trick drew unwanted attention to the fine lines on her face.

WORST: Juliette Lewis

juliette lewis

Lewis appears to be reliving her high school prom with this sparkly headband and loose ringlets. Her pretty makeup would have worked better with a simple chignon.

WORST: Kim Basinger

kim basinger

We're getting a migraine just staring at the legendary actress' severe ponytail. Basinger's bright red lipstick loses its feminine touch with such a taut hairstyle and menswear-inspired suit.

WORST: Kristen Wiig

kristen wiig

We wish Wiig would put a bit more effort into her red carpet looks. Her complexion appears washed out with the face powder, frosty eyeshadow and unflattering lipstick shade.

WORST: Jessica Jarrell

jessica jarrell

The barely legal pop star has covered up her natural beauty (and not her cleavage) with heavy hair and makeup. Jarrell looks more like a circus clown with those drawn-on eyebrows, purple eyeshadow and red lip color.

Kim Kardashian Compares Butts With Blac Chyna In Sexy Selfie

If aliens ever landed on planet earth and needed to be quickly debriefed on American culture, we could tell them everything there is to know by explaining individualism, democracy and Kim Kardashian's butt. Kim's butt is, indeed, so ubiquitous, that it is hard to talk about butts without hers as reference point. And yet, she is apparently not satisfied with the impressive circumference of her backside.

Alas, the new mom posted a picture next to her unlikely workout buddy Blac Chyna, captioning the photo with the praying emoji, which we interpret as praying for Chyna's butt.

To be fair, the praying emoji can indicate a number of different things in this context. Perhaps Kim and Chyna were getting ready for church. It's possible they were attempting to criticize the worship of false idols, such as physical fitness and those questionable Shape-Up shoes. Except, Kim was probably just praying for Chyna's butt.

'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones' Box Office Falls To 'Frozen'

NEW YORK (AP) — On a wintery weekend, Disney's "Frozen" retook the box office top spot with $20.7 million, freezing out the horror spinoff "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones."

According to studio estimates Sunday, Paramount's "The Marked Ones" debuted in second place with $18.2 million, a total that includes Thursday night screenings. The film is a stand-alone story spun off from the lucrative, low-budget horror franchise "Paranormal Activity." But it wasn't able to overcome Disney's animated "Frozen," which has been a hit for family audiences for the last seven weeks. Another hold-over, Warner Bros.' "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," came in third with $16.3 million in its fourth week of release.

The near-blizzard snow storm that battered the Northeast may have tempered the weekend's box-office business.

Sandra Bullock Googled Herself And This Is What Happened

Sandra Bullock googled herself only to discover that she was in a feud with Julia Roberts over George Clooney.

"I thought maybe it would be a nice fun approach to this evening to do, maybe, something different, so I Googled myself and read the comments section, thinking I would get some tidbits of what people really think of me and share them " she said at the 25th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on Saturday (Jan. 4). "Never read the comments section … or Google oneself, at anytime..."

"Apparently, Julia [Roberts], I don't know where you are, you and I are in a dispute over George Clooney," Bullock laughed. "We talked about this, right? It's a shared custody."

The "Gravity" star also read some disparaging comments about herself, noting that most of the "insults" were related to her being "over 40." "Everything that Sandra Googled about herself, they say about me too, except they say over 60," Meryl Streep joked later in the evening.

In conclusion, Sandra Bullock is our imaginary best friend and her, Meryl and Julia are a trio of best friends, that often spend afternoons giggling over Google and crisp white wine that wishes it could age as well as they have.

Alexa Vega is married again. The "Machete Kills" star tied the knot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with Carlos Pena, Jr. after two months of engagement.

"Wow... I'm getting excited nervous!!!! Ahhhh!!!" she tweeted.

Back in September, the 25-year-old Vega, who was married once before, shared a photo of the yellow ring that Pena apparently built "from scratch."

This wedding comes a more than a year after Vega filed for divorce from "Spy Kids" producer Sean Covel in July of 2012. "We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly," she tweeted at the time, quoting author Sam Keen. Vega and Covel were married for less than two years.

Watch Jennifer Saunders Confirm The 'Absolutely Fabulous' Movie On 'The Jonathan Ross Show'

Sweetie, darling! Sweetie, darling!

Pop the champagne, it's cause for a celebration. While on the BBC talk show "The Jonathan Ross Show" this weekend, Jennifer Saunders confirmed that she is indeed going to write an "Absolutely Fabulous" movie.

Rumors about a movie of the classic British sitcom have been swirling all year. First co-star Joanna Lumley spoke about Saunders working on the script, and even Saunders herself addressed the rumors last month when she was on the British talk show "This Morning."

"Yes, well I have to do it now because I've threatened it a lot," said Saunders while on Ross' show this weekend. Saunders then continued, "And then Joanna Lumley kept announcing it and saying, 'Yes, she's going to do it, she's going to do it' and then Dawn French on our radio show at Christmas said, 'I bet £100,000 that you don't write it.' So now I have to write it, otherwise I have to pay her £100,000."

Saunders also revealed that her procrastination is one of the reasons the film has taken so long, as well as "second album syndrome." She explains to Ross, "Once you've had a bit of success, the last thing you want to do is go and make a flop. So the biggest fear in me is that it won't be good enough. I'm really nervous about it."

We're sure a glass of champagne will calm the nerves, sweetie.

Watch Saunders talk about the "Ab Fab" movie on "The Jonathan Ross Show" in the clip above (the "Ab Fab" part of the conversation begins at the 6:13 mark).

'Revenge': Emily Wakes Up With Amnesia

A classic soap opera twist came with the return of "Revenge" on ABC. After getting shot in the last episode, Emily woke up with amnesia! She didn't remember who she was or anything about her revenge plot against the Graysons ... at least for awhile. Her first recollection came when she told Charlotte that she remembered her father's name: David Clarke.

Whoops! Emily Thorne can't be David Clarke's daughter. Luckily, Charlotte didn't put the clues together -- at least, not yet. By the end of the hour, though, it looked like Emily's amnesia would be short-lived. Suddenly it all seemed to come flooding back, including one damning detail. It was her new husband, Daniel Grayson, who shot her.

Sure it's corny, but The AV Club's Carrie Raisler forgives the show, writing that it "has always embraced its soap roots, even if it prefers over-the-top verbal spars to the hair-pulling fights of ‘80s repute. What better way to give Emily an obstacle to overcome while simultaneously giving her enemies the unfettered time to gather information to use against her?”

"Revenge" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.

Tricia Helfer On 'Killer Women,' Playing A Bad-Ass Texas Ranger And Shooting A Grenade Launcher

$

If there's one thing we can say about Canadian actress Tricia Helfer, it's that she knows how to pick strong leading female roles. Perhaps best-known as Number Six on "Battlestar Galactica," Helfer is back in the prime-time saddle on "Killer Women" as Molly Parker, the only female member of the renowned Texas Rangers law enforcement agency. Molly Parker is bad-ass, ballsy, and brilliant. Despite discrimination from her male colleagues, Molly struts onto a crime scene and analyzes the case as only she can.

Premiering on January 7, "Killer Women" is a close look at a woman's point-of-view in a predominantly male profession. In each episode, Molly and her team work to solve a case involving a female-committed crime, hence the title of the show.

HuffPost TV chatted with Helfer about this leading role, the many sides of Molly and if she'll ever bring her motorcycle into the mix.

HuffPost TV: I gotta say, you rock the cowboy hat.
Tricia Helfer: [Laughs] Oh, thank you! It took me an episode to get used to it. By the time we started the series post-pilot, I loved wearing it. I'm used to wearing something like a straw, fashionable cowboy hat in California. Molly's wearing a real Stetson.

Would you say you're attracted to these strong female roles?
I'm definitely attracted to these roles, but that's not to say I won't do other ones. For example, I'm guesting on an upcoming Canadian comedy called "Spun Out" -- and I'm playing a posh, over-the-top ex-wife -- so I'd say I like to do all kinds of things. Part of the reason I find myself doing strong roles is because it's what people hire me for. You know, I'm tall, I have a stronger, deeper voice than a [goes high-pitched] girly one.

Molly is strong, that's for sure. Does she have weaknesses? And if she does, will we find out about them?
Oh, absolutely. One of the things that drew me to the character in the first place was that yes, she's strong, she's smart and she's active, but she definitely has a vulnerable side. She's trying to get divorced from a very narcissistic ex-husband, who also happens to be a public figure. We realize through the series that he has some control over her. It's funny, a friend of mine said to me, "I have a problem believing that this strong character would allow herself to be victimized by this man."

After reading some information on abuse, especially emotional abuse, I found out that women, regardless of their strength, can find themselves in situations like that. Before they really realize they're in it, it has escalated to a point where she's embarrassed to admit it. A spiral is a spiral -- but that's one thing I find fascinating about Molly, the weakness that she's hiding.

In many instances in the first episode, Molly's "female intuition" -- for lack of a better term -- comes into play in a predominantly male environment.
That's one of the things that we used for Molly ... we knew that she studied female psychology, so she's more in tune from an educational standpoint, but also from a woman's point-of-view. She may have more of an upper hand than some of her male counterparts when it comes to figuring out why certain women act the way they do.

In the world of policing, it's no secret that there's gender discrimination and we see a bit of it in the first episode of "Killer Women." Have you experienced discrimination in your real-life profession as well?
Well, we had the real first female Texas Ranger to be our advisor on set, and I had talked to her about that, and obviously a lot has changed now ... but I don't think they let women into the Texas Rangers until 1993. It's not that long ago, and believe it or not, a lot of the other Rangers quit when she joined. In 2013, Molly has to deal with it only some of the time. I like that not everybody is that way; Molly knows when to make an issue of it and when to just brush it off. She has a great relationship with her boss, Luis (played by Alex Fernandez), and with the other Rangers.

In my own life, one thing that I can relate it to is when I first started acting. I came from modeling in New York City for 10 years, and starting acting in 2002, it was difficult to get anyone to take me seriously. They would say, "Oh, she's just a model, she can play a girl in a bikini," or that type of thing. They wouldn't realize that a) I wanted to play something different than that, or b) I could be different than that. There were a lot of building blocks and a lot of pounding my head against the wall. They would think, "She's just pretty," but I was so fortunate to get "Battlestar" a year after I moved to L.A. Again, a lot of people wrote me off and thought that I was just the blonde in the red dress.

Does Molly discover some romance as the series goes on? There's something happening with Dan (played by Marc Blucas), right?
We definitely want to make the point that she's been separated from her husband for close to a year. She's been damaged in her relationship in terms of trust and moving on. It's hard for her to move on when her ex still has a hold on her, and refuses to get a divorce. She wants to trust Dan, and they're dating throughout the series, but it's a slow process. Of course there are a couple of rough patches, as relationships go. [Laughs]

And I wouldn't say this show is just for women. There's a lot of action, and I think you shoot a bazooka or something in the first episode.
No, even though it's called "Killer Women," I don't think it's a women-only show. [Laughs] And it was a grenade launcher. It was so much fun. The driving too, with the 180s in the middle of the street in Austin, and peeling off the other way, driving up an embankment to the freeway. I love doing that stuff.

Are you going to incorporate your bike [motorcycle] into the show somehow?
I actually do; Molly does ride, but not very much. I actually pull up in a BMW S1000RR, but we pull it up to Dan's cabin, where it's all gravel and dirt. I had to be extra careful. We do have a bike chase in the Season 1 finale. The show creator knows that I ride, so she very sweetly wrote it in that Molly rides.

"Killer Women" premieres on Tuesday, January 7 at 10 p.m. EST on City in Canada and ABC in the U.S.

The "Pretty Little Liars" gang is returning to Rosewood on Tuesday night (Jan. 7), and Troian Bellisario (Spencer Hastings) has a surprising confession: She feels a little out of place on the ABC Family show.

“Sometimes I feel like I’m trying too hard, like I don’t belong. I just look around at Lucy [Hale], Shay [Mitchell], and Ashley [Benson], and I’m just like, Why am I on this show?" Bellisario told Seventeen magazine. "Sometimes I’ve felt like a fraud."

"Like, I’m not like these other girls –- I don’t dress like that and don’t know how to do my hair," she continued. "The minute I’m off that stage, I try to get as 'me' as possible. I do that by piling on my black eyeliner, and I put on my ripped tights. Dressing like myself again helps.”

Bellisario could have fooled us -- it sure seems like she's having a blast in this blooper reel.

Zooey Deschanel Wants Us To 'Graduate' From 'Girl-On-Girl Hate'

As if Zooey Deschanel didn't already have us wrapped around her adorably manicured finger, the "New Girl" star's comments in ELLE's February issue have flung us head over sufficiently girly heels.

Deschanel covers the magazine's Women in TV issue, in which ELLE celebrates the smartest and funniest women on the small-screen. Other print editions of the February issue feature covers with Mindy Kaling, Amy Poehler and Allison Williams.

When asked about the criticism that "girliness" implies weakness, Deschanel delivered a refreshingly candid response:

There has been a shift. I really have stood up for myself on multiple platforms. It’s sort of the grown-up version of middle-school nastiness, and I’m just like, come on. If there’s one thing I’d like to graduate from, it’s girl-on-girl hate. I don’t believe in it.

This isn't the first time Deschanel has been a vocal defender of girliness. In January 2013, the actress told Glamour: "We can't be feminine and be feminists and be successful? I want to be a f**king feminist and wear a f**king Peter Pan collar. So f**king what?"

We agree that baseless girl-on-girl hate has no place in 2014 or beyond, and we're so happy to see Ms. Deschanel is over it, too. Wisdom looks good in floral.

The Most Dramatic Moment In Figure Skating History Happened 20 Years Ago

Twenty years ago, the most memorable event in figure skating history -- a sordid '90s tale of violence, conspiracy, jealousy and sequined dresses -- began to unfold.

On the afternoon of Jan. 6, 1994, figure skater Nancy Kerrigan had just finished a practice session at Cobo Hall in Detroit, on the eve of the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She had been crowned the 1993 women's figure skating champion after winning a bronze medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics.

The Massachusetts native came from a middle-class family headed by a father who sometimes worked three jobs to pay for her coaching. Figure skating fans raved about Kerrigan's graceful, almost regal, beauty and manner.

But she turned in a troubling performance during the 1993 World Figure Skating Championships, ultimately placing fifth. Later that year, at an important pro-am exhibition, Kerrigan fell three times.

"She's not very comfortable being in her new role as the favorite, because she's really naturally very shy," the commentator said. Some wondered whether Nancy could handle the pressure.

She began seeing a sports psychologist and upped her training. The U.S. Figure Skating Championships were going to be Nancy Kerrigan's comeback. She was just 24.

One of Kerrigan's biggest rivals was a rough-and-tumble Oregon skater named Tonya Harding, who had been on the squad with Kerrigan and Kristi Yamaguchi at the Olympics.

A high school dropout, Harding had married a man named Jeff Gillooly at age 19, whom she had divorced in 1993. Despite her chaotic home life, Harding had established herself an international force to be reckoned with in 1991, when she set numerous records, including being the first woman ever to land a triple axel jump during the short program.

But Harding was also known in the figure skating world for being something of a problem child. She was late to several competitions. Once, her dress came undone during a championship skate, forcing her to stop her routine. Harding was known for being difficult with coaches and smoked cigarettes even as her struggles with asthma directed sympathetic media attention her way.

The battle between Harding and Kerrigan in Detroit at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1994 would be a matchup of raw power vs. refined elegance.

That January afternoon, Kerrigan stepped off the rink at Cobo Hall after finishing practice. She placed guards on her skates and walked through the blue curtains toward the exit and locker rooms. Kerrigan turned when she heard a man running behind her, she said. It happened so fast she couldn't identify him, but she saw him swing what she thought was a crowbar or billy club at her knee.

After hitting Kerrigan, who collapsed to the ground, the man took off. Nancy's father, Dan Kerrigan, picked her up and carried her out of the arena.

The assailant struck her thigh, inches away from shattering the knee she used to land her jumps -- and, likely, her professional skating career. "I'm okay," she said at a press conference the next day. "I'm pretty upset and angry that someone would do this."

The day after the attack, a woman called then-Detroit Police Chief Benny Napoleon to report she had heard a recording of four men discussing a plot to injure Nancy Kerrigan. The tipster provided the police with names: Gillooly, whom Harding had been seeing again since the divorce, bodyguard Shawn Eckardt, getaway driver and conspirator Derrick Smith and Shane Stant.

On Jan. 20, 1994, Harding's bodyguard told The Oregonian newspaper that Harding had known about the plot to take out Kerrigan. Authorities pinpointed Stant as having used the black, 21-inch retractable ASP tactical baton he had purchased to assault Kerrigan.

On Feb. 1, 1994, Gillooly accepted a plea bargain in exchange for his testimony against Harding. All four men were sentenced to prison.

Meanwhile, although Kerrigan had been sidelined from competing in the U.S. Championships to earn a spot in the 1994 Winter Olympics, her rivals agreed she deserved the chance to skate in Lillehammer, Norway. Michelle Kwan, who had placed second, was sidelined so Kerrigan could join Harding to compete for the United States.

It was remarkably awkward.

When it came time for the two women to compete, Kerrigan skated two of the arguably finest performances of her entire career, seven weeks after the hit that nearly derailed everything.

She barely lost to Urkainian skating sensation Oksana Baiul, winning the silver medal.

During Harding's free skate, she stopped and restarted her performance several times. The crisis this competition? A broken skate lace that brought her to tears on the ice. She ultimately finished eighth.

Harding pled to conspiring to hinder prosecution of Kerrigan's attackers on March 21, 1984. She received three years probation, 500 hours of community service and a $160,000 fine, but no jail time. Later that year, the United States Figure Skating Association stripped her of her '94 championship title. Part of her plea bargain also banned her from the United States Figure Skating Association for life, either as a skater or a coach.

Among other pursuits, Harding later took up boxing.

Olympic champion Kristi Yamaguchi applauded her friend and fellow figure skater Brian Boitano, who came out as gay last month, in an interview with HuffPost Live this week.

Calling Boitano "a good friend," Yamaguchi noted, "I completely support him and [I'm] proud of him. It's something that doesn't define him, but it's part of who he is."

Yamaguchi, a "Dancing With The Stars" veteran who was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 2005, also offered some suggestions for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) athletes who plan to participate in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi at a time when Russia has come under fire for its controversial "gay propaganda" legislation.

This is [the athletes'] lifelong dream, and I think they will really be focused on the task at hand," she said. "Hopefully the Olympic spirit and the Olympic movement will overshadow any negative that is there. ... Just go there, be who you are and go after your dreams. That's really the main point."
