"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks is ringing in 2013 with a baby on the way!
Parks confirmed that she is expecting her second child with husband Apollo Nida to People magazine. She shows off her growing baby bump in a black bathing suit in a photo sent to the magazine, taken while she vacationed in the Bahamas with her family over the holidays.
Parks, an entertainment lawyer, and Nida wed in 2009 and welcomed their first child, son Ayden, one year later, according to E! Online.
Her first pregnancy was filmed for Season 3 of "Real Housewives," and controversy surrounding her due date became a central storyline. Parks claimed that she did not know her baby's due date, but others pointed to the possibility that he was conceived out of wedlock. "In my family, you can't have [a baby] unless you married," she said during a Season 3 episode. "That's momma's rules."
The "Housewives of Atlanta" star recently opened up about juggling life as a career woman, a wife and a mom during an interview with the Examiner. "It’s very difficult, but I have a great support staff, great parents, great friends, great husband, and everyone pitches in," she said. "It’s a lot of prioritizing and we try to do everything in the best interest of our son and our family."
Parks is currently promoting her new exercise DVD, Phine Body. She tweeted to a fan that she used the work-out after her previous pregnancy.
