Jamal Crawford has consistently provided a spark off the bench for the Los Angeles Clippers and Christmas day against Denver was no different.
Early in the second quarter, the Clippers' sixth man made one of the best highlights of the day when he got out on a fast break. First, Crawford got past Andre Miller with an incredible behind-the-back move. Then after freezing the Nuggets point guard, Crawford put just the right amount of touch on his shot to get it over Kenneth Faried's outstretched arm, off the backboard and through the net.
Billy Crystal, a longtime Clippers fan who joined the ESPN broadcast table to do some play-by-play, said he had seen the move before and even revealed what it's called.
“Where I come from, this is called the 'Shabbat shalom.' Boom! Shabbat shalom,” he said.
Crawford went on to score 22 as the Clippers won their 14th straight game.
