Jane revealed a secret dating back to her childhood on the holiday episode of "Happy Endings." She's a Christmas baby! Unhappy with having to share her birthday with the biggest of holidays, she arbitrarily changed it to July 16, and then lied about it for years.
The gang decided to gift her with making December 25, 2012 "Jane-mas" instead of Christmas. For once, she would have her true birthday not be about anything other than her. At least, that was their intention.
Things got off to a rough start, though, when they surprised her in the morning in the apartment. Lesson learned: Never surprise Jane. She pepper-sprayed the entire gang thoroughly.
It was another laugh-filled installment of "the little engine that could," as Eliza Coupe, who plays Jane, told The Hollywood Reporter. Despite the show being scheduled to depart ABC's schedule in March 2013, Coupe seems confident that the full 22-episode season will get on the air.
Of course, more viewers would certainly help the show stick around. Tune in every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC. New episodes return January 8, 2013.
