Zendaya Has A Stunning Response To Trolls Who Called Her Parents Ugly

Zendaya had some choice words for Twitter trolls who called her parents ugly.

Earlier this week, a Twitter user shared a photo of the 18-year-old star with her mother, Claire, and father, Kazembe, on the red carpet and responders began commenting on her parents' looks. Zendaya saw the back-and-forth and replied with a photo of her mom and dad, along with a message of love.

First I'm gonna pray for you. While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow mind. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have). So please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook…and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you. - Me and my BEAUTIFUL family.

And that is how it's done.

Adele's New Album Might See The Light Of Day This Year

Adele's follow-up record to her mega-selling album "21" may not be a myth, as we've come to believe.

Stock up on tissues and take all of November off, because Billboard has learned that the singer's new album will be released sometime that month

Very little is known about the album -- except that her label claims there's "no truth" to rumors it will be called "25." Billboard previously reported that Danger Mouse has been working on it, while Max Martin, who is responsible for pretty much every number one pop song in the last 15 years, is said to have penned a song for the singer.

Get ready for a good long cry this fall. Maybe

Reps for the singer did not immediately return The Huffington Post's request for comment.

Jessica Biel Supports Her Brother At First Public Appearance Since Welcoming Baby Silas

On Thursday night, Jessica Biel made her first public appearance since welcoming her first child with husband Justin Timberlake, son Silas Randall, in April.

The 33-year-old actress was on hand to celebrate the latest collection of BARE, the eco-accessories line she helped launch in October 2013 with her brother Justin and designer Grason Ratowsky. Biel was gorgeous and glowing as she posed for photos with her handsome sibling at the event in Santa Monica, California.

The new mom gushed about her 4-month-old baby boy in an interview with E!, revealing the most magical moment of motherhood

"Probably the moment he wakes up from a nap," she said. "He's sort of looking around and you sort of creep up and look over the crib and he looks up and he goes [big sighing sound]. Just a gummy mouth, no teeth, just a big smile, happy that you're alive and you're just looking at him. That's probably the most magical ... but you quickly move on from it because there is a dirty diaper in your palm," she quipped.

Biel and Timberlake have stayed out of the public eye since welcoming their son, but did make an appearance at Taylor Swift's final show in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

"It was super fun," Biel told E!. "We are fans of music from all walks of the spectrum, from country to rock to R&B, to hip hop, whatever. I'll pretty much see anyone live."

A little more than halfway through Taylor Swift’s sold-out concert Saturday night at the Staples Center in L.A. — after she had sung a duet of her 2008 song “White Horse” with Orange Is The New Black star Uzo Aduba but before she brought Chris Rock, Matt LeBlanc, and model Sean O’Pry to “walk the runway” while she sang “Style” — she stood in front of the 15,000-person crowd and had a little chat with everyone there.

Khloe Kardashian looked positively gorgeous at James Harden's birthday yacht party.

The 31-year-old and her entire family were there to celebrate the Houston Rockets player's 26th birthday on the Fantasea Yacht in Marina Del Rey, California, Tuesday. Kardashian turned heads in a sheer, sparkling bodysuit and white slit skirt, with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin pumps (and white sneakers in hand).

Of course there was a photo booth on board, and the reality TV family shared a handful of the black-and-white photos on Instagram.

Everyone's favorite genius-billionaire-philanthropist just turned into a romantic.

In honor of the couple's 10th anniversary, "Iron Man" actor Robert Downey Jr. took to Instagram to remind his wife Susan just how special she is, posting a picture with the caption, "A perfect 10. Happy Anniversary, Mrs. Downey:"

Not stopping there, Downey also recently showed up on Instagram with his on-screen love Pepper Potts, aka Gwyneth Paltrow:

Now, everyone who counts on Downey's usual social stream of funny memes and videos doesn't need to worry. Iron Man still has plenty of those. But it's cool to see Tony Stark, who does have a tendency in the "Avengers" movies to be a little full of himself, taking a short respite from the comedy to spend time with the special ladies in his life instead.

Congrats to the happy couples on-screen and off. Anniversary gifts, assemble!

Kim Kardashian Says Body Shaming Is The Reason She Doesn't Smile

Kim Kardashian is not a woman who seems to have many secrets. She posts photos from her life all over social media, she has a whole reality show so we can just keep up with her and she poses naked on magazine covers. So yeah, not hiding too much. Or so we thought.

In a recent interview with C Magazine, Kardashian revealed body shaming is the real reason she doesn't smile in pictures. During her first pregnancy, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star had preeclampsia, she said, a disorder that can lead to sudden weight gain and swelling.

"Everyone would say, 'She can’t stop eating.' I delivered at 180, and they were like, 'She’s 210 pounds. She’s getting dumped because she’s too fat' and all these ridiculous stories," Kardashian told the magazine.

All the hate, she went on to explain, led to her new outlook:

Before I was always smiling, and so into being out and about. After I had the baby, I was like, "These are the same people that made fun of me, and posted the stories that were so awful, calling me fat for something I couldn’t control. I don’t want to smile for them."

Kardashian previously said on social media that she didn't smile to prevent wrinkles, but clearly she wasn't being totally candid. She says the body shaming experience changed her mood and her personality "a lot."

Still, Kardashian hasn't let the negativity break her. In recent posts, the expectant mother even shows off the changes her body is going through, posting the caption "pregnancy lips" in one...

And kindly reminding everyone that breasts aren't made for ogling in another:

Speaking of North and Penelope, the two recently got up to some cute antics with a mermaid on their family vacation to St. Barts.

Legendary Horror Director Wes Craven Dead At 76

Wes Craven, the director of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Scream," has died at 76. The influential horror master battled with brain cancer, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Craven is one of the past few decades' most recognizable filmmakers, having transformed the slasher movie with the aforementioned box-office triumphs, both of which spawned numerous sequels. "Scream," in particular, is credited with reinvigorating the teen horror film thanks to a tongue-in-cheek script that both parodied and praised the genre.

But long before "Scream" became one of 1996's highest-grossing releases, Craven cemented his status as the influential writer and director of exploitation films like "The Last House on the Left" (1972), "The Hills Have Eyes" (1977) "Swamp Thing" (1982) and "The People Under the Stairs" (1991). He broke from his signature genre with the 1999 drama "Music of the Heart," for which Meryl Streep earned an Oscar nomination, and one of the shorts within the acclaimed 2006 anthology film "Paris, je t'aime." He returned to form with the thriller "Red Eye" (2005), the supernatural box-office dud "My Soul To Take" (2010) and the long-anticipated fourth installment in the "Scream" franchise (2011). At the time of his death, the Craven-produced MTV series based on "Scream" was days away from airing its Season 1 finale.

Craven was born in 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in a strict Baptist family. He earned a Master's degree in philosophy and writing from Johns Hopkins University. He taught college briefly before abandoning academia for the world of cinema, rapidly establishing himself as an auteur who imbued his chilling films with questions about the nature of everyday existence. But Craven said in a 2009 interview that his horror legacy was pure "coincidence," as his debut film, "The Last House on the Left," came about after he and producer Sean S. Cunningham were approached by financiers to make a scary drive-in feature. The rest of his career channeled a singular vision that can be defined by Skeet Ulrich's quote in "Scream": "Movies don't create psychos. Movies make psychos more creative."

The announcement of the director's death came during the MTV Video Music Awards, but Hollywood took to Twitter to praise Craven's contributions to American cinema.

The Huffington Post contacted Craven's representatives for further comment but has not heard back.

Taylor Swift won for Best Female Video at the 2015 VMAs on Sunday night for "Blank Space," beating out Beyoncé ("7/11"), Sia ("Elastic Heart"), Ellie Goulding ("Love Me Like You Do"), and Nicki Minaj ("Anaconda"). Here are some think pieces about it.

Swift accepted the award, thanking her male co-star for having fiery things thrown at him and the video's director Joseph Kahn, who then joined her at the mic and thanked some other people.

Mariska Hargitay seemed really happy she won. Please contact lauren.duca@huffingtonpost.com if you fully understand why Mariska Hargitay is there with Taylor in the first place.

The Most Outrageous Outfits At The 2015 VMAs

When it comes to fashion at the MTV Video Music Awards (aka the VMAs), we never quite know what to expect.

The awards show is by far the craziest of the year, as celebs go all out and nothing is off limits. (We all remember Rose McGowan's infamous chain dress circa 1998).

And this year didn't disappoint. Miley Cyrus stepped out wearing next to nothing, Britney Spears left little to the imagination in a short, tight, sheer number, while Serayah looked shredder-chic in a white dress.

Below, check out the most outrageous outfits of the night.

Demi Lovato is so cool, hot, bad, good and other opposite words that mean the same thing in certain contexts.

The singer took to the stage at the 2015 Video Music Awards Sunday night for an extremely amazing rendition of "Cool for the Summer."

Special guest Iggy Azalea joined her for a rap interlude.

Lovato's most recent single "Cool For The Summer," dropped in July. The video for the tune is VERY VERY HOT.  (In this context, cool and hot are opposites.)

More Demi every day please.

Taylor Swift's 'Wildest Dreams' Channels White Colonialism

$

Taylor Swift arrived at the VMAs with her squad of thin, mostly blonde women and proceeded to premiere her music video for "Wildest Dreams" on Sunday. It featured Scott Eastwood, those high-waisted pants that the villains wear in "Pocahontas" and what sure felt a lot like some harkening back to white colonialism.

The opening shot pans over antelope or some other sort of animal gathering in the desert. Then there's a giraffe, Taylor Swift with black hair and Eastwood, who is either squinting or confused as to why he is making this ambiguous movie about what, again, feels a lot like white colonialism.

We had trouble tracking the plot of the pseudo-film within this video, which was directed by Joseph Kahn. It appears to include some of the lyrics to "Wildest Dreams" or maybe just the line which Eastwood mouths to Swift. "Say you'll see me again," he lip-syncs to her while still squinting. (There is  a clear romantic undercurrent to the major storyline in which the two acquire control over an moderately sized African region.)

Instead of the cultural appropriation that has become almost status quo in today's pop music, Swift has opted for the bolder option of actually just embodying the political exploitation of a region and its people. It's brave, really. Almost as brave as moving sensuously in the vicintiy of a real-life lion.

All of the proceeds were donated to African Park Foundation of America.

Nicki Minaj Calls Out Miley Cyrus During VMAs Acceptance Speech

Nicki Minaj may have cleared up her bad blood with Taylor Swift when she opened the VMAs on Sunday night -- but when she accepted the award for Best Hip-Hop Video she sparked a (faux?) feud with the night's host, Miley Cyrus.

When she went up on stage, the rapper made sure to give a shoutout to all the pretty girls and dudes making money and randomly (her words) thanked her pastor. But things changed when she turned to an unsuspecting Cyrus and said, "Let's get back to this b***h who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what's good?!" (We see that smirk, though.)

Minaj was referring to an answer the "Bangerz" singer gave in an interview to The New York Times. When asked about her thoughts on the whole Minaj-Swift twitter feud, she responded, "If you want to make it about race, there’s a way you could do that. But don’t make it just about yourself. Say: 'This is the reason why I think it’s important to be nominated. There’s girls everywhere with this body type.'"

She continued, "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It’s not very polite. I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love."

So basically, she called Minaj rude.

But on stage, Cyrus stayed calm and responded by saying the comments were just a result of the media manipulating her words. She went on to congratulate Minaj for winning.

But who are we kidding: The whole spat was likely scripted, and the two women are probably going to hug it out when they close the show together.
