Kelly Clarkson is just killing it with her covers lately.

The 33-year-old powerhouse performed a unique rendition of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" during her concert on Saturday at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, and, as usual, she slayed.

And since we know Swift is a huge fan of covers and surprise guests on tour, maybe we'll get to see Clarkson join the #girlsquad for a duet of "Since U Been Gone." (We can dream, right?)

Throughout her "Piece by Piece" tour, the "American Idol" winner has been taking fan requests and performing one cover at each show. So far, her list includes *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye," Nick Jonas' "Jealous" and Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive."

Watch the whole performance above, and check out some of her other great covers:

You'll Remember This As The Day Johnny Depp Fed A Baby Bat As Captain Jack Sparrow

Johnny Depp.caught up with us again last week for an update on little Jackie Sparrow (The orphaned bat he is sponsoring). Here is a video of Dad bottle feeding his little orphaned baby. It's so fantastic to see him showing a genuine interest, and helping us raise awareness for bats!

Posted by Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre on Wednesday, July 22, 2015

Johnny Depp is without a doubt the greatest pirate we've ever seen.

While filming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" in Australia, the actor made some time to visit the Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre, where he sponsored an orphaned baby bat fittingly named Jackie Sparrow.

The clinic, which is in Advancetown, Queensland, recently posted a video of the "Pirates" star bottle feeding Jackie while in full costume. There's a good chance it'll be the cutest thing you've ever seen.

Depp has also recently visited a children's hospital in costume and even "wandered around" taking photos with fans, which leads us to believe Captain Jack might not care only about himself after all.

Avril Lavigne is back!

The 30-year-old singer took to the stage Saturday to perform her new single "Fly" at the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. The performance -- which she nailed -- was her first since she revealed her battle with Lyme disease.

Last month, the Napanee, Ontario, native opened up about living with the illness, saying it left her bedridden, on an episode of "Good Morning America." Lavigne is going through treatment, she said, and believes she'll make a full recovery.

The Canadian star shared an Instagram post after the performance expressing her gratitude and excitement at being able to take the stage.

She wrote a moving caption:

"Honored to have performed my song Fly at the opening ceremony for the Special Olympics tonight. All proceeds go to support the Special Olympics. This was a very beautiful night for me. Congratulations to all the athletes. Thank you to everyone who supports the Avril Lavigne Foundation. It has been a difficult year fighting through Lyme Disease for me and I am so happy to have made it on stage tonight for the first performance in a year. Thank you for having me and please enjoy my song Fly. I wrote this song to encourage people who are facing challenges, to encourage strength and to empower. Xoxo."

Other stars who came onstage at the opening ceremony included Nicole Scherzinger, Eva Longoria and Stevie Wonder as well as Michelle Obama and Maria Shriver.

Everyone Is Losing Their Minds Over Kylie Jenner's Racy Shirt

Recently Kylie Jenner reminded us in a throwback Instagram post of a time she promised she wouldn't grow up too fast. Well, you can pretty much forget about that.

The reality star is now causing controversy over Snapchat videos showing her wearing a sexually explicit shirt saying "Eat Me Out," despite the fact that she's still only 17. And everyone online is freaking out about it.

You can watch the vids and decide for yourself if it's worth all the hullabaloo:

Jenner has already proven she's not afraid of causing an uproar, regularly sending out racy pictures on Instagram and even being romantically linked to 25-year-old rapper Tyga, despite being underage.

Jenner turns 18 in a couple weeks, so perhaps if she had waited until then the snaps wouldn't have been as big of a deal. Then again, with all her notoriety, perhaps it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Regardless, you can pretty much forget about the rest of the Kardashians. Keeping up with Kylie is tough enough.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead At 22 Following Long Hospitalization

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died Sunday, according to Entertainment Tonight. She was 22 years old.

Brown was hospitalized on Jan. 31 after she was found unresponsive by her boyfriend Nick Gordon and her friend, Max Lomas, in a bathtub at the couple's home in Roswell, Georgia.

Multiple outlets reported that Brown had been placed in a medically induced coma and was breathing with the help of a ventilator. Brown was then transported to Emory University Hospital's neurological department in Atlanta on Feb. 5, before being transferred again in March to Dekalb Medical's rehab facility in Atlanta.

Things were looking more hopeful for the family in April, when a lawyer for Brown's father told the press in a statement that the 22-year-old had "opened her eyes," and went on to say "there has been improvement" in her condition.

However, on June 24, Brown's aunt Pat Houston announced that Brown's "condition has continued to deteriorate" and Brown was moved to hospice care. Additionally, the statement went on to say that the Houston family thanks "everyone for their support and prayers. [Bobbi Kristina] is in God's hands now."

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led the then-21-year-old to become unresponsive.

Brown was the only child of Houston, who died on Feb. 11, 2012, and one of singer Bobby Brown's six children.

In January 2014, Bobbi Kristina Brown announced via Twitter that she had married Nick Gordon, a close family friend. However, according to a statement released Feb. 3 by Bobby Brown's attorney, the couple never legally married.

Shortly after Brown was admitted to hospice care, it was reported that a court-appointed representative for Brown filed a lawsuit against Gordon, claiming he physically and emotionally abused her. The suit also alleges that he stole more than $11,000 from Brown's account after she was found unresponsive in January. The lawsuit accuses Gordon of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and conversion.

This is a developing story...

RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — A Brazilian hospital says Joe Jackson — the father of the late Michael Jackson and the patriarch of the musical family — suffered a stroke while visiting the South American nation.

An emailed statement early Monday from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo says only that Jackson was admitted to the hospital Sunday afternoon. He is in the intensive care unit. The statement also said he was suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

The statement does not say exactly what condition Jackson is in. Calls to the hospital's public relations department were not answered before business hours Monday.

Jackson is in Brazil in part to celebrate his 87th birthday — which was on Sunday.

Local media say Jackson was absent from his own party because he was already in the hospital. Photos from his official website show him dining in Sao Paulo restaurants

A video has surfaced showing Shia LaBeouf and girlfriend Mia Goth getting into a very public verbal argument in Germany on Friday night.

Goth, 22, who was in Germany filming a horror movie and LaBeouf, 29, are seen in the video (obtained by ET) having a heated discussion while coming out of a taxi. At one point, a group of locals intervenes, telling LaBeouf they can drive him to the airport.

The "Transformers" star seems defensive, saying, "I don't want to touch a woman. I don't want to hit a woman. But I'm getting pushed."

He continues to ask Goth for his bag while telling her he doesn't want to be aggressive. According to German newspaper Bild, Goth grabbed her boyfriend's bag as he walked away in an attempt to get him to stay with her.

The entire exchange was recorded by the local bystanders who then end up driving LaBeouf to the airport. During the ride, the actor tells the men, "I gotta get out of here, bro. If I'd have stayed there, I would have killed her."

An unnamed witness told Bild LaBeouf did not seem to be sober. Another German tabloid, Pure Stars, reported LaBeouf left with an injured hand and Goth was seen the next day with a black eye

The couple began dating back in 2012 after meeting on the set of "Nymphomaniac." They are also rumored to be engaged, according to People.

Caitlyn Jenner Gets Emotional In Vanity Fair Doc On Her Cover Story

Caitlyn Jenner gets emotional in a new 10-minute documentary that takes a behind-the-scenes look at what went into the making of her Vanity Fair cover story.

The video, which features never-before-seen footage from Jenner's photo shoot,  Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter detailed how the magazine kept the story and the photo shoot under wraps until it went live on June 1

"We brought in the security that we use for the Oscar party, for the White House Correspondents' Dinner," Carter explained. "We had security at the photo shoot, security at the printer. It was a way of showing that a magazine cover works and that we could use the Internet, rather than fight the Internet."

Meanwhile, Jenner said keeping the shoot a secret wasn't easy.

"I've basically been inside this house for the last three months. I haven't really left," Jenner revealed. "It's difficult because I can't go out and be seen by the paparazzi, they're literally sitting down there."

She added, "I would wear sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures. And if my fingernails were polished, it was just hell … It was really, really tough on me."

While the buildup to the photo shoot was trying for Jenner, the payoff seems to be worth it.

"They put this mirror up behind me when I was doing the shoot, I had this rocking black outfit on, a formal outfit, and I kind of from a distance looked in the mirror and I go, 'Oh my god,'" she explained. "It's the first time I'd ever really seen an image of me -- of who I am -- I mean, over-the-top better than I thought it would ever be, especially at my age."

Jenner went on to say that seeing that image of herself was very "powerful."

She added, "I kind of looked down and said 'You know what, this is going to work. We're going to be okay with this.' So yeah, we move forward. I am so excited about the future."

Head over to Vanity Fair for their cover story on Caitlyn Jenner.

The talented and versatile star of films like Minority Report and the dark comedy In Bruges is now leading an all-star cast in the second season of HBO's hit series True Detective. On the show, Farrell plays Ray Velcoro, a troubled police detective with conflicting loyalties who finds himself entangled in a bizarre murder case.

In the clip below, Farrell shares how he has learned to resist forcing too much of his own life experiences into a performance, so as not to make it an exercise in what he calls "purge acting."

Let's Talk About That Amazing Cameo In 'Paper Towns'

For all you John Green fans out there who rushed to theaters this weekend to see "Paper Towns," we have something to discuss ... O.M.G.

Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't want to learn who made a surprise cameo in "Paper Towns."

How amazing was that Ansel Elgort cameo?!

Last year, John Green told The Huffington Post that the "Fault in Our Stars" actor and his co-star Shailene Woodley begged him to be a part of "Paper Towns," even if it was just for a second. "The day that it was announced, I got emails from both Ansel and Shailene, saying, 'I really want to be in "Paper Towns," just a small role, like if I could have like one line.' And I wrote Ansel back and I was like, 'Yeah, I'm sure we can find something for you.' And he was like, 'No man, I’m not kidding. I want to be in the movie.'"

Well, Elgort got his wish. The 21-year-old makes his brief cameo as a gas station attendant during the movie's road trip sequence.

"It was kind of a last minute thing, but it was so funny," the star of "Paper Towns" Nat Wolff, who also played Elgort's best friend in "TFIOS," told HuffPost of the scene-stealing surprise. "They gave him like tattoos at the last minute, too, and it was pretty hilarious," he said.

Yes, we wholeheartedly agree.

Elgort seemingly tweeted about his special appearance with the below post of a dragon emoji. (He rocks a dragon tattoo during the scene.)

Taylor Swift Might've Taken A Jab At Katy Perry During 'Bad Blood' Performance

$

It looks like there is still some bad blood between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Swift was in Foxborough, Massachusetts, over the weekend for two stops on her "1989 World Tour." During her performance of "Bad Blood" Saturday night at Gillette Stadium, a very familiar-looking shark made a quick appearance.

If you've been living under a rock, Perry featured two blue sharks during her 2015 Super Bowl halftime show back in February. And "Bad Blood" is presumably about Swift's feud with her former friend and fellow pop star, although she has never confirmed the speculation.

(BuzzFeed noted that a handful of Twitter users criticized Swift for the move.)

Last week, Perry seemingly dissed Swift during the 25-year-old's Twitter drama with Nicki Minaj over "Anaconda" not being nominated for the 2015 MTV VMAs' Video of the Year Award. While Minaj's comments were about race and pop culture, and she never directly mentioned the "Style" singer, Swift tweeted that the rapper should blame one of the male nominees for taking her spot instead.

In the midst of this, Perry tweeted about an unnamed someone who promotes women supporting women, but capitalizes on the opposite.

Brigitte Bardot Slams Australia's Plan To Kill 2 Million Feral Cats

$

0

Australia’s “war on cats” has met a new foe -- French former screen siren-turned-animal welfare activist Brigitte Bardot.

Bardot condemned the country’s plans to exterminate 2 million feral cats, which environmental officials say threaten Australia’s endangered small mammals and birds. She called the plan “inhumane and ridiculous” in an open letter to Environment Minister Greg Hunt, published last week.

“The 6 million dollars you plan to spend in destroying these animals would be much better spent in setting up a large-scale sterilization campaign,” she wrote.

Read the whole letter on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation site.

Hunt announced the five-year anti-feral cat campaign at a Melbourne zoo on July 16, according to The Guardian. The strategy is to poison, trap or shoot some 2 million feral cats. Hunt said the effort would “halt and reverse the threats to our magnificent endemic species.”

Feral cats in Australia are considered a major threat to such endangered native species as the greater bilby, western quoll and golden bandicoot. Gregory Andrews, Australia’s threatened species commissioner, explicitly referred to the program as a “war on feral cats,” according to The Washington Post.

Cats were introduced to the continent around 200 years ago, and the feral feline population has since exploded. "Feral" cats, which live on their own and are not socialized to interact with people, are notably different from "stray" cats, which are socialized and simply lack homes. Stray cats can be re-homed with humans, while feral cats typically cannot.

Feline welfare aside, there’s some evidence to suggest that the program just won’t work.

When members of an animal population are killed off, the animals missed by the cull tend to reproduce at a higher rate to restore the population, according to Alley Cat Allies, a U.S. feral cat advocacy group. Additionally, in a phenomenon known as the “vacuum effect,” neighboring populations expand and move into the newly vacant habitat.

However, if the animals are spayed or neutered and returned to their original area, there is no immediate vacancy. The population is stabilized, and the neutered cats will eventually die off. Alley Cat Allies cites two studies that suggest this method -- known as Trap-Neuter-Return -- causes feral cat populations to decrease over time.

Even Kelly O’Shanassy, chief executive of the Australian Conservation Foundation, who called the planned cat cull “commendable,” criticized the program for not addressing an even bigger threat to endangered species -- habitat loss.

“The strategy … fails to meaningfully address the biggest threat to threatened species and ecological communities -- the loss and fragmentation of habitat -- either through investment in new protected areas or by safeguarding existing critical places,” she told The Guardian.

Though the bulk of the plan’s $6.6 million will be spent on culling cats, the budget does include efforts to “revegetate” habitats for endangered species. However, such habitats will not be off-limits to development, according to The Guardian.

It's unclear how many feral cats currently roam Australia. Hunt estimated in November that the country was home to "up to 20 million feral cats taking up to four native Australian animals a night," resulting in 20 billion deaths of birds and small mammals each year. However, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation called those figures into question, quoting scientists as saying there could be anywhere from 5 million to 18 million cats.

Sorry Leo, but Bear Grylls just replaced you.

On Monday night's upcoming episode of "Running with Bear Grylls," Kate Winslet guest stars to scale a cliff in Wales with the host. When Grylls tells the actress to let go of the ropes in a new clip from the episode, Winslet channels her inner Rose from "Titanic."

"Jack, I feel like I'm flying!" Winslet says as she spreads her arms wide, recreating her iconic scene with Leonardo DiCaprio. But then reality hits and Winslet tells Grylls, "Alright, come on, get me down this f**king thing.”

Here's the original scene in case you forgot it to watch again and again, because duh:
