Jon Snow is dead. Stop with the theories. There's no hope.

At Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday, "Game of Thrones" director David Nutter revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he confirmed Snow's death to the President Barack Obama three weeks ago

“[President Obama] turned to me, put his hand on my shoulder, and said, ‘You didn’t kill Jon Snow, did you?’” Nutter told the website. “I said, ‘Jon Snow is deader than dead.'"

There you have it, the confirmation we all needed to move on.

Oh, and Stanis was confirmed dead, too.

Actress Natalia Tena Dishes On Season 6 Of 'Game Of Thrones'

Time moves painfully slow between seasons of "Game of Thrones" for Westerosians. For actress Natalia Tena, who plays the wilding Osha, her absence has felt even longer as her character wasn't included in the recently finished season 5.

When we last saw her, Osha had parted ways with Bran, played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright, to watch over his little brother, Rickon. Tena dropped by HuffPost Live Thursday to talk about her hiatus and what to expect in Season 6.

"I haven't seen [Hempstead-Wright] for about two years. I can't wait to see him. I bet he's really handsome and tall," she said.

More importantly, Tena cautiously takes her guess about what Jon Snow's fate might be.

"It's tricky, because in the book, Catelyn Stark kind of doesn't die. I don't really get that. Is there a zombie element that's going to come out in the next book?" she asked.

Sounds like we'll find out when Tena does, but there's one thing she can guarantee.

"Ned Stark's definitely dead," she confirmed.

Watch the full conversation with actress Natalia Tena here.

If you ever doubted HBO's casting decisions for "Game of Thrones," you definitely won't now.

During Friday's "Thrones" panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego, HBO shared a composite of the cast's audition tapes. The reel shows auditions of everyone from Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell) to Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell). And there's a great clip of Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) eating a carrot.

The video also features the origin of one of the best "Game of Thrones" lines in history: "You know nothing, Jon Snow."

In other "Game of Thrones" Comic-Con news, director David Nutter confirmed that Stannis Baratheon is indeed 100 percent dead. Nutter also confirmed Jon Snow's death to President Barack Obama. So yes, it's a sad day in the Seven Kingdoms.

John Stamos has checked into rehab for substance abuse, according to People magazine.

The decision to enter a residential treatment program comes a month after the 51-year-old actor was arrested on DUI charges and briefly hospitalized. He's due in court on Sept. 11.

Stamos was originally scheduled to co-host the 2015 Emmy Award nominations on July 16 with "Orange Is The New Black" star Uzo Aduba, but he's now been replaced with Cat Deeley, according to Variety.

Stamos is set to reprise his role as Uncle Jesse on Netflix's upcoming "Full House" reboot, which was given the creative title, "Fuller House." The actor also stars in his new Fox sitcom, "Grandfathered," premiering this fall.

The Huffigton Post reached out to Stamos' rep, who asked for privacy for the actor at this time.

The "Star Wars" panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday brought together a handful of original cast members.

Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford joined several other actors from the franchise on stage. It marked Ford's first public appearance since the actor was injured when his plane crash-landed in MarchFisher and Hamill had previously reunited at the "Star Wars" Celebration event earlier this year alongside former co-stars Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels, but it was truly a treat to see Luke and Leia with Han Solo.

And for the record, Ford says he's feeling "fine":

Although "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams said the new trailer won't debut until the fall, a behind-the-scenes reel was shown during the panel. The video featured a look at "The Force Awakens" cast on set, including Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Lupita Nyong'o.

A few key details about the upcoming film also were revealed on Friday. Adam Driver, Domhall Gleeson and Gwendoline Christie all came out as members of the Dark Side during the panel. While we knew Driver will play a bad guy named Kylo Ren and Christie will play Captain Phasma, we learned that Gleeson is also an evil character. The "Ex Machina" star will play General Hux, who's in command of Starkiller base, a new location that's an homage to Luke Skywalker's original last name in the "Star Wars" scripts

It was also confirmed that Simon Pegg will indeed be in "The Force Awakens." However, we won't see his face, since his character will be hidden in a costume.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is out on Dec. 18.

Bryan Cranston Burns 'Breaking Bad' Fan With Perfect 'Your Mother' Joke

Bryan Cranston has delivered some devastating lines on "Breaking Bad," but on Thursday he really dropped the mic.

While appearing on Nerd HQ's Conversations for a Cause panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Cranston was asked by an Albuquerque native who was a fan of the AMC show what he liked to do while he was in the New Mexico city. Cranston's response was incredible.

"Yeah, I'd go and visit your mother once in a while," said Cranston, causing everyone to completely lose it.

The actor's "Breaking Bad" co-star Aaron Paul also had some fun with fans recently, fooling them into thinking his character, Jesse Pinkman, was going to be involved in a "Breaking Bad" spinoff.

Now, that's a cute joke and all, but nothing compares to the burn of Heisenberg talking about your mama. He is the man who knock-knocks.

Taylor Swift's power woman squad just got some impressive new additions.

At her concert in New Jersey Friday night, Swift took the stage with none other than the U.S. women's soccer team. You know, the ones who casually won the Women's World Cup last Sunday.

Men are nothing.

The very same show saw Heidi Klum walk the runway (!!!) and Swift's "Bad Blood" video cohorts Hailee Steinfeld, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid and Lena Dunham join her onstage.

Friday night was probably the best thing to ever happen to New Jersey.

Led by director David Ayer, the cast of "Suicide Squad" made a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con during the Warner Bros. panel on Saturday. No joke! And no Joker.

Though there was no panel or Jared Leto, cast members Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Joel Kinneman all came out to wave to the crowd.

Smith even took a moment to address everyone and get us even more excited than we already are:

A surprise had been teased before the Warner Bros. panel and the "Suicide Squad" definitely delivered. The first footage from the film was also reportedly shown and based on the social media reactions, everyone will probably freak out when that hits the Internet, too.

Ben Affleck Makes First Public Appearance Since Split With Jennifer Garner

Almost two weeks after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's split broke all of our hearts, Affleck is finally stepping back into the spotlight.

The actor made an appearance at the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" panel at Comic-Con on Saturday alongside co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill. They were also joined by director Zack Snyder.

A fan-favorite Hollywood couple, Affleck and Garner confirmed their split in a statement at the end of June.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Affleck was still sporting his wedding ring at the Comic-Con event, according to People.

The New 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer Totally Delivers

Gotham finally has the trailer it deserves.

The first trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" had a rocky debut when low-quality footage leaked online, basically forcing Warner Bros. to release it. That's not the case with this latest clip.

Word that the trailer would be released at San Diego Comic-Con started circulating Friday. And during a "Batman v Superman" panel on Saturday, whoa, the studio delivered.

Footage appears to show Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) in Metropolis at the end of "Man of Steel":

Gal Gadot joins the action as Wonder Woman:

And there's even a hint that Joker might show up. What!

(It's about time. He certainly hasn't been around for "Suicide Squad." And also, WHAT!)

The whole thing seems like a superhero world war, and that's not even taking into account all the havoc Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is going to cause with his diabolical monologues.

The trailer is intense, but Affleck brought some levity to the panel, revealing Christian Bale's expert advice on playing Batman:

He also brought up a somewhat unflattering story about why director Zack Snyder thought he'd be the perfect fit for the Caped Crusader:

Yuk it up while you can, Bruce Wayne. "Batman v Superman" is set to hit theaters March 25, 2016, and it looks like you're going to need all the Kryptonite you can get.

Rowling did not just let the tweet fly, however, responding with her own Saturday morning zing:

Even more important than the fact that Williams rocks a red dress is that bodies of a variety of gender identities come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Muscles are not "manly," and sleek physiques are not "womanly." Kk, everyone?

There has been a lot said about Sansa Stark's horrifying scene with Ramsay Snow in Season 5 of "Game of Thrones." Some fans have outright threatened to stop watching the show because of it while others, including the actors, have defended the scene's inclusion. Well, now it turns out there's one thing about it you may have missed that makes it even worse.

Theon is wearing the same outfit Robb Stark had on at the Red Wedding.

Whaaaaaaattttt????? Yup.

Tumblr user the-kings-hand actually noticed a similarity between the outfits after the episode aired, which you can see below. But could this actually be true?

You bet. Sure as R'hllor is the Lord of Light.

Sansa Stark herself -- actress Sophie Turner -- confirmed the Easter egg at the "Game of Thrones" Comic-Con panel on Friday.

"If anyone noticed, it was Robb Stark's costume. Just FYI. Just to make it that little bit more brutal," said Turner.

Yeah, "more brutal." What happened to not showing Stannis' death because it was too "gratuitous," huh? What happened to that?!

Here's another look at the outfits side by side:

Wow. Those Boltons are messed up. But you do have to admit they have great fashion sense.

Epic Superhero Selfie Ends Comic-Con Panel On A High Note

How many superheroes can you fit in one selfie? Chris Hardwick took it upon himself to find out.

The American comedian, who hosted the Fox panel at Comic-Con on Saturday, gathered the stars from "Fantastic Four," "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "Deadpool" onstage for a record-breaking selfie. According to journalists at the mega-event, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters were just a few of the many stars (at least 14) who got in on the action.

The photo, which Hardwick shared on his Instagram account, is a little blurry, but we'll forgive him for that due to its sheer awesomeness. Take a look for yourself:

And in case you were wondering, yes, that is definitely comic book legend Stan Lee right at the front.

After joining the cast of superheroes onstage for what might now be considered the most epic celeb selfie ever (sorry, Ellen), he exclaimed, "Now that’s a way to end a panel!"

Yes, yes it is.

Hugh Jackman Teases 'Old Man Logan' Storyline For 'Wolverine 3'

Although Hugh Jackman's final days as Wolverine are looming closer, we can still expect to see the character in the future... sort of.

During Saturday's 20th Century Fox panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Hugh Jackman took the stage to say farewell to his iconic "X-Men" character. The Australian actor confirmed at the panel that "Wolverine 3" will be his last time playing the mutant superhero, as he's said many times before.

But shortly after, Jackman appeared to confirm rumors of an older version of his character in the film. "I've got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan," Jackman said, according to ComicBook.com.

Old Man Logan is a Marvel comic book written by Mark Millar, which takes place over fifty years in the future. In it, Wolverine -- aka Logan -- is older and living in peace with his family, but is called on a final mission by Hawkeye. So while "Wolverine 3" will be Jackman's last time flashing his claws, it seems likely we'll see an aged Logan at some point in the film.

After dropping this piece of news, Jackman gave a farewell speech for the character, according to Cinema Blend. "Sixteen years since that day almost," Jackman told the audience, referencing his 1999 audition for Wolverine. "I got to tell you, playing the legend that is Wolverine is the greatest part that I've ever had in my life. I'm biased -- I think it's the greatest comic book character ever made."

The actor has been quiet about whether or not Wolverine will appear in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," telling The Huffington Post last month, "Who knows?" But "Apocalypse" director Bryan Singer recently let it slip that the character will likely show up in the new "X-Men" film, Indiewire reports.

During the panel, Jackman was also joined on stage by the "Apocalypse" cast, Channing Tatum and Ryan Reynolds for what became the most epic superhero selfie in history.

"Wolverine 3" opens March 3, 2017.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star took to Instagram Saturday night to post a series of eight silly selfies with Mason Disick, the son of older sister Kourtney and Scott Disick. Normally, we'd be a little annoyed at anyone for posting eight selfies in a single night, but a) this is Kim Kardashian we're talking about, and she does have an entire book of selfies published, and b) there is an adorable child involved.

The 34-year-old Kardashian sister is seemingly just trying to keep her young nephew happy in the wake of his parents' breakup. Mason's sister Penelope has also been spending plenty of time with the reality star and her daughter, North West. The two cousins are just adorable:

"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday and premiered the first trailer for his upcoming superhero film.

Fans were so excited about the new footage that Reynolds, who was presenting with director Tim Miller and the rest of the cast, showed the trailer twice. While Marvel and 20th Century Fox have yet to officially release it, the trailer has since leaked online. In it, we meet Reynolds' Wade Wilson, a man who accepts his cancer diagnosis as fatal, until an organization promises to heal him and turn him into a superhero.

Meet Deadpool: the foul-mouthed, sarcastic funnyman in a red suit.

The very R-rated trailer features Reynolds' Deadpool mouthing off in all sorts of hilarious ways, something the actor said was a "miracle" to accomplish.

"I think this character inhabits a space in the comic universe that no character can or will ever inhabit,” Reynolds said, according to MTV News. “I think it’s an absolute miracle that a studio let us make 'Deadpool,' let alone a rated-R Deadpool.”

"Deadpool" opens Feb. 12, 2016.
