Jared Leto Sent 'Suicide Squad' Co-Stars A Live Rat And Dead Hog As Gifts

Jared Leto has taken gift-giving to a gross new level.

According to E!, the actor decided to send his "Suicide Squad" castmates some presents to make up for his frequent absences during the film's early prep. But chocolates and drinks these gifts were not.

Actor Adam Beach, who stars in the upcoming superhero flick, spoke to E! about the Joker's gift-giving at the premiere of "Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser."

"He sent [Margot Robbie] a nice love letter with a black box with a rat in it -- a live rat," he said. "It was beautiful. Then he sent bullets to Will [Smith] with a letter."

We're not so sure we'd ever use the word "beautiful" to describe a rat, but to each his own, we guess?

The gifts didn't stop there. Apparently the cast also received a video and a dead hog.

"Basically, what he said was, ‘Guys, I can't be there but I want you to know I'm doing my work as hard as you guys,’” Beach told E!. “The video he showed is in character. It blew our minds away. Then we realized that day, this is real.”

It doesn't get more real than a live rat and dead hog, does it?

Why David Crosby Hasn't Been Smoking Much Pot Lately

In David Crosby's own words, he spent a lot of his career "stoned out of [his] gourd," but things are pretty different these days.

The legendary musician, who is currently busy with a solo tour, told HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski on Friday that he stopped using most drugs in the mid '80s, when a number of problems with the law and cocaine led to prison time. He continued smoking pot, he said, "because I don't think there's much wrong with it," but recently he's stopped using that, too -- and for an important creative reason.

Watch Crosby, 73, discuss his relationship with drugs in the video above, and click here for his full HuffPost Live conversation.

Kanye West Still Blames Himself For His Mother's Death

Kanye West seems to have almost everything; family, fortune and success. But even the rapper has regrets, and believes he's to blame for what's missing from his life.

In a new interview with Q magazine, the 38-year-old reveals he feels responsible for the death of his mother Donda West, who died of heart disease while suffering "multiple post-operative factors" following liposuction and breast-reduction surgery in 2007.

When asked what he feels he's sacrificed the most to achieve his level of success, West replied, "My mom."

"If I had never moved to LA she'd be alive. I don't want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears," West told the magazine

It's a sentiment the rapper has expressed before. In 2008, he released the song "Pinocchio Story," in which he says he says he would give up everything he's achieved to have his mother back, and in 2010, when he guested-edited the October issue of XXL magazine and wrote, "When I moved to LA, she moved to LA. And she wound up in a place that would eat her alive. Even if I stayed in New York, it wouldn’t have been like that. If I had lived in New York, she’d still be here.”

West seems truly haunted by his mother's death, but now that he's a father to 2-year-old daughter North and is expecting a son in December with his wife, Kim Kardashian, it seems he's all about putting family first.

"While [Nori's] here in Europe I have to have six hours a day with her because otherwise I'll just work and she'll get scheduled around meetings," he explained to Q magazine. "Instead, the meetings get scheduled around her."

Kendall Jenner Breaks Kim Kardashian's Instagram Record

Kendall Jenner is officially more famous than Kim Kardashian. At least, on Instagram.

The 19-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star has broken the record for the most liked photo on Instagram, which was previously held by big sister Kim.

The winning photo shows Kendall lying on the ground in a white lace dress with her hair sprawled out, forming heart shapes around her head.

The pic, which was taken in May, now has over 2.4 million likes. It surpasses the iconic photo of Kimye exchanging a kiss in front of a massive flower wall at their wedding. (If you want exact numbers: Kendall's pic is at 2,484,857 likes, and Kimye's is at 2,473,754 -- so close!)

Jenner shared her excitement about the news with a cheeky tweet:

Looks like Kendall is the one we all have to keep up with now.

Cosby's Lawyer Wants To Keep 'Embarrassing' Court Docs Sealed

June 26 (Reuters) - A lawyer for Bill Cosby argued that unsealing court documents from a 2005 Pennsylvania sexual assault case filed against the comedian would cause severe "embarrassment," court records show.
Attorney George Gowen asked in a motion filed in federal court on Wednesday to keep under seal records from the case brought by Andrea Constand, who alleged Cosby tricked her into consuming drugs before he sexually assaulted her.
Gowen wrote that Cosby had explained in a previous filing that "his embarrassment at the release of the discovery motions - deposition excerpts about sex, money, health, and marriage - would be severe."
While Constand's case was settled for an undisclosed sum years ago, the Associated Press has asked the court to release the documents. The wire service reported that Gowen brought the arguments before U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno on Friday.
Gowen argued in his brief that Cosby agreed to the settlement under terms that all discovery materials related to the case would remain confidential.
He also contended that since Cosby is not a public official, and the information would not benefit public health or safety there was "no public interest" in releasing the documents.
More than 40 women have accused Cosby of sexual assault dating back to the 1960s.
Cosby, best known for his role as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on the hit TV series "The Cosby Show," has never been criminally charged and his camp has consistently denied such allegations. (Reporting by Curtis Skinner in San Francisco; editing by John Stonestreet)

Kim Kardashian Thought Her Career Was Over After Divorce From Kris Humphries

Very famous person Kim Kardashian thought her career would long be over by now.

In an interview with The Drum on Friday, the star admitted she believed her time in the spotlight was finished after her 2011 split from NBA player Kris Humphries.

"At the time when I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, ‘You guys I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money. And now we'll just continue to do our clothing stores and continue to do what we started off doing before the show,'" Kardashian said.

"I was being very paranoid," she continued. "I just took some time off and the time was really good for me. I cancelled everything. I had a book tour, I had a fragrance launch, I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me."

Kardashian has, along with the rest of her family, only rose to even greater prominence in the years since the split. One piece of potential evidence? Her high-profile marriage to Kanye West spawned the No. 1 most-liked photo on Instagram. That is, until yesterday, when one of younger sister Kendall Jenner surpassed the record.

So yeah. The Kardashian-Jenner empire seems to be doing just fine.

'Ted 2' May Reveal The Answer To One Big 'Pulp Fiction' Mystery

$

As movie fans know, the secret of what's in Marsellus Wallace's briefcase in "Pulp Fiction" is one of the biggest pop-culture mysteries around. Some theories suggest it's just a plot device, while others make a case that it's actually Wallace's soul. Now, it appears the question has finally been answered thanks to, of all movies, "Ted 2."

Image: PandaWhale

Yeah, you read that right. "Ted 2."

Now, on the surface, these two films don't seem to have much in common. One has crass language, some buddy-story elements, supernatural phenomena and -- actually, never mind, apparently they're the exact same thing.

The real connection between the movies comes when Ted (Seth MacFarlane) and John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) break into Tom Brady's room and seemingly reveal the answer to one of the biggest pop-culture conundrums out there:

Tom Brady's balls are in Marsellus Wallace's briefcase.

Image: Giphy

In Seth MacFarlane's new movie, Ted really wants to have a baby with his wife, but he runs into that classic problem of not having any reproductive organs. (Hey, it happens, bro.) To get around this, he and his thunder buddy John attempt to steal sperm from Brady to use him as a donor. Then, when they look under Brady's sheets, something amazing happens, and their faces are illuminated with a glow from the golden boy's ... golden boys.

The glow definitely seems eerily similar to the light coming from the "Pulp Fiction" briefcase, but does this really answer the question?

The evidence:

As you can see, the glow from Brady's "Lombardi Trophy" leaves Ted and John pretty dumbfounded. "Sweet God and baby Jesus," says Bennett, while Ted adds, "And that's at rest."

Image: Giphy

This glow has pretty much the exact same effect in "Pulp Fiction." In Vincent's (John Travolta) case, he's completely transfixed on the contents of the briefcase until Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) talks him out of it. The same thing happens during the restaurant robbery. That time, the robber becomes so mesmerized by the case that Jules is able to turn the tables on him.

Image: Tumblr

Now, Brady would've been around 17 when "Pulp Fiction" came out in 1994, so it probably wasn't Tarantino'soriginal intent to have the QB's "equipment" in the briefcase. He left it ambiguous, though, so that doesn't mean he couldn't change his mind later.

Also supporting the connection is Seth MacFarlane's penchant for referencing both "Pulp Fiction" and its creator, Quentin Tarantino, in his cartoons. Here's one of MacFarlane's parodies from "Family Guy":

Another clip references a scene where Wallace (Ving Rhames) actually gets saved by Butch (Bruce Willis):

The Huffington Post decided to get to the bottom of this mystery. We straight up asked Wahlberg if Brady's balls (deflated or not) were in the briefcase, and the actor actually gave the idea plenty of good vibrations. "That’s quite possible," he said. "That’s quite possible."

Though Wahlberg is into it, it's still not a surefire thing. If the case does contain what we suspect, MacFarlane isn't saying. When HuffPost asked the mastermind behind "Ted 2" about the briefcase, he wouldn't confirm or deny anything, adding, "Who the f*ck knows?"

And, Mr. MacFarlane, that's good enough for us.

Does "Ted 2" actually reveal what's in the "Pulp Fiction" briefcase? What do you think?

Why Amy Schumer Turned Down Hosting 'The Daily Show'

When Jon Stewart announced he was stepping down from "The Daily Show" earlier this year, a handful of names popped up as potential replacements. "Daily Show" correspondent Trevor Noah ended up being the lucky one chosen to fill Stewart's seat, but The New York Times and The Daily Beast have uncovered a few other names that were considered for the Comedy Central show.

A Times profile of the comedy network last week revealed that Amy Poehler and Chris Rock were two of the people considered for the hosting gig. Apparently, though, the "Parks and Recreation" star gave the network "the quickest 'no' in history," while Rock only wanted to host through the 2016 presidential election. Kent Alterman, the president of content and original programming at Comedy Central, told the Times they eventually decided on Noah and that the young South African comedian was the "the only person [they] made an offer to."

As it turns out, that's not completely true.

The Daily Beast did a little digging and asked Amy Schumer, another Comedy Central star, if she was ever offered the job. "Yes," Schumer told The Daily Beast. "I was so honored to be asked and considered." But the "Inside Amy Schumer" star didn't feel right committing to five years at the show.

"I thought, ‘Well, I could give everyone I love a job and we could all be together for five years,'" Schumer said. "But picturing being in a building and knowing what I was going to do for five years -- I love not knowing. And I’ve never done anything safe or to make money for that reason. So, you know, I said, 'I can’t start now.'"

Yes, that's the sound of tears hitting the floor as we realize a Schumer-hosted "Daily Show" could have been a thing. Imagine a "Daily Show" with brilliant sketches about rape culture, cameos by Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Patricia Arquette and maybe even full-episode parodies of classic movies. But alas, it will never happen.

NEW YORK (AP) — Rapper DMX has been arrested for failure to pay child support just as he was about to perform at Radio City Music Hall.

A spokesman for the New York City Sheriff's Department tells WPIX-TV (http://bit.ly/1HmtUVO ) the 44-year-old rapper was taken into custody Friday for several "issues outstanding." He said those included $400,000 worth of unpaid child support, a warrant issued by the city of White Plains for bail jumping and a robbery complaint out of Newark, New Jersey. No charges have been filed in the Newark case.

The rapper's real name is Earl Simmons. He had been scheduled to perform at the Master of Ceremony concert at Radio City.

An Egyptian TV Show Pranked Paris Hilton With A Horrific Fake Plane Crash, And She Was Not Happy

Paris Hilton recently appeared on Egyptian actor Ramez Galal's prank show, "Ramez in Control" ("Ramez Wakel Elgaw") and was subjected to a terrifying hoax.

A YouTube video from an episode of "Ramez in Control" shows Hilton in Dubai for the opening of a new hotel. Midway through the episode, the celebrity is invited on a jet for a 15-minute aerial tour of the city with Galal and other passengers. A few minutes after the plane is in the air, the pilot begins doing stunts that make it appear as if the plane is crashing.

In the video, Hilton and the other passengers begin to panic and scream as an alarm goes off and the plane appears to plummet. One passenger opens up the jet's side door and tosses a man out as Hilton screams "No" and "I don't want to jump."

The faked crash footage -- which is very disturbing to watch -- goes on for more than five minutes as Hilton continues to scream and cry, looking genuinely terrified. After the plane lands safely, Galal tells Hilton he is an Egyptian actor and that the crash was just a prank. It appears Hilton wasn't in on the joke, as she seems surprised and confused before yelling at the host, "I'm going to kill you."

"I almost thought I was going to die," she says, crying. "That's been my biggest fear my whole life, dying in a plane."

It's unclear when this episode of "Ramez in Control" originally aired, but Galal has pulled this prank -- and others -- during the past four Ramadans. Another video posted to YouTube includes a preview of various people involved in the plane crash hoax.

The show faced cancelation earlier this year, but not because of how upsetting the pranks appear to be for the show's victims. According to website Albawaba, Egypt's prosecutor general filed a lawsuit against Galal for reportedly "stealing the show's idea from Prosecutor General Ashraf Atef."

Previously, the host has tricked guests into believing they were being eaten by live sharks in the ocean, so clearly, Galal has no limits.

The Huffington Post could not immediately reach Hilton's reps for comment.

A Fan Rushed The Stage During Kanye West's Glastonbury Festival Set

Sorry Kanye, but this fan doesn't want to let you finish.

During Kanye West's set at the Glastonbury Festival in Worthy Farm, England, on Saturday a man rushed the stage and began mocking the rapper. The man -- since revealed as English comedian Simon Brodkin, who performs as the character Lee Nelson -- came onstage during West's performance of "Black Skinhead." West continued rapping briefly, then stopped, throwing his hands in the air, as a security guard removed Brodkin. West then started the song over.

Brodkin, as Nelson, tweeted about why he interrupted the performance, saying that it was in response to festivalgoers' petition to remove West from the lineup. The petition, signed by almost 135,000 people, requested that West be replaced by a rock band. Before his performance Saturday, the "All Day" rapper told Q Magazine that the petition was "an insult to music fans all over the world."

He just killed it, man.

Perhaps to satisfy the crowd's petition for a rock band, Kanye West broke out a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on stage at the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday. Everyone and their mama seemed to join in with the singalong.

One person you know enjoyed it was Kim Kardashian, who partied it up with celebs like her sister Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne while out supporting her husband.

West's cover was reminiscent of Jay Z's "Wonderwall" performance in response to Noel Gallagher's criticism of his headlining at Glastonbury in 2008. The petition against West's appearance also led to one person rushing the stage, but nothing really matters after this.
