Potential spoilers if you have yet to see "Jurassic World." Also, go see "Jurassic World." It's awesome.

Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, is a woman in charge. And not in charge of just anything, but in charge of the second iteration of a famous dinosaur amusement park, which is newer and, supposedly, safer than ever. When a mishap leads to (SPOILERS!) the biggest and meanest dino getting loose, she's forced to run around the park as she helps love interest Owen Grady, played by Chris Pratt, save the day.

Hero indeed. And she does it all in heels. Which is cool, if you overlook the fact that she doesn't do much? Also, turns out Howard had to specially train for her action sequences because of her wardrobe. Which begs the following questions ...

    1. Really?

    2. There were no extra boots available anywhere around the park?

    3. Shouldn't someone have been in charge of stocking extra field gear?

    4. Did Claire actually sprain her ankle about two minutes into the action and just took it like a champ for the rest of the movie?

    5. What does it say about Owen's physical endurance when a person burdened by heels can keep pace with his sprinting?

    6. How many toes did she fracture?

    7. Will she need podiatric surgery right away, or ... ?

    8. Is Claire the real hero of "Jurassic World"?

    9. Might she have kept a pair of running shoes in her car?

    10. If not, couldn't she have sent someone else to fetch her practical footwear?

    11. Or made one of her underlings go tradesies?

    12. Doesn't going barefoot seem preferable to stilettos?

    13. Honestly, wouldn't the heels have just broken off at some point due to the strain?

    14. Who designed those things?

    15. Are they the real hero of "Jurassic World"?

    16. Does she regret the sartorial decisions she made that day?

    17. Could the heels have been Claire's idea of a last-ditch weapon against toothy predators?

    18. Would that have justified her wearing them??

    The world may never know.

UPDATE: On Saturday, John Stamos tweeted that he was currently home and well after his hospitalization in Beverly Hills. He shared his appreciation toward the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Hills Police Department on Twitter.

EARLIER: John Stamos was arrested for driving under the influence Friday night, according to TMZ.

The "Full House" actor was pulled over by Beverly Hills police following multiple calls reporting an "an erratic driver" around 7:45 p.m. PDT on Friday, according to Variety. Stamos was alone in the car.

Police then had the 51-year-old actor transported to a hospital. It is unclear if it was because he appeared drunk or injured. There, law enforcement concluded that Stamos was driving under the influence, according to the Associated Press. He was placed under arrest, cited with a DUI and released into the hospital's care. Variety reports that the actor is expected to appear in court for the charge on Sept. 11.

A rep for Stamos was not immediately available for comment.

Stamos will reprise his "Full House" character Uncle Jesse in Netflix's upcoming "Fuller House" reboot. The actor also stars in his new Fox sitcom, "Grandfathered," premiering this fall.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined the rest of the royal family on Saturday at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London, also known as Queen Elizabeth II's birthday parade.

Looking radiant as ever, the duchess stayed true to her classic style in a light blue coat dress by Catherine Walker and a Lock & Co white fascinator hat. But it was Prince George, in a shade of blue similar to his mother's, who, in his daddy's arms, stole the show while pointing and waving to the crowd.

Earlier in the day, Prince George was photographed looking on in delight as the festivities got underway.

Sadly, Princess Charlotte did not make an appearance. The first official photos of Princess Charlotte with Prince George, which were released on June 6th, were adorable, and we cannot wait to see more of the sweet little lady.

For now, we will make due with photos of the royal family looking as regal as ever.

No offense to "Fat Bottomed Girls," but lip sync battles are what really make the rocking world go 'round.

Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" staple has been mostly MIA on the show since the segment became a series on Spike; however, Lena Dunham helped bring it back in style on Friday.

The "Girls" creator broke out the choreography and even actually sang a little for her rendition of the aforementioned Queen hit and Calvin Harris' "Outside." Meanwhile, Fallon held his own with "I've Never Been To Me," made famous by Charlene, and a hyped-up version of "Run's House" by Run-D.M.C.

The lyrics in Fallon's first choice would have you think paradise is a lie, but really it's more like this lip sync battle.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.

One venti-sized order of payback coming right up!

Before Tyler, The Creator hit it big with Odd Future, the rapper had two other jobs, he told Jimmy Kimmel Thursday. His job at FedEx was "so depressing" and lasted less than two weeks, but he worked at Starbucks for more than two years. According to Tyler, a new manager came in, hated on him and eventually fired him. But he had a special message he wanted her to have.

"I hope she's watching because I still hate her," Tyler said.

"I hate you so much," he added.

The rapper recalled that another manager warned him 10 minutes before the firing, giving Tyler just enough time to call his mom, who wanted to sue Starbucks before she figured out they did nothing wrong. So he just accepted his fate and went on to become a mega-successful recording artist.

So, really, things probably could've been worse. At least they didn't spell his name wrong on a coffee cup or anything.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.

"Orphan Black" has been hailed as a feminist masterpiece for its meditation on female archetypes and subversion of typical TV scripts to turn male characters into plot devices. But creators Graeme Mason and John Fawcett didn't understand that element of the show until the real-life Cosima enlightened them.

During the "Orphan Black" panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, last Sunday Mason spoke about how his old friend Cosima Herter -- the inspiration for Cosima Niehaus, a historian of science and a consultant on the show -- changed his perception of the series.

"[She] is the real Cosima," he explained.

"But not actually a clone... that I know of," Kristian Bruun chimed in with Donnie-brand goofiness.

Mason went to Herter as soon as he and Fawcett got the green light to move into development of "Orphan Black."

"She's very Cosima," Mason said. "She got all hand-wave-y, and, like, 'Oh my god! That's so cool.' And, 'Don't you realize you're playing with a feminist bomb?!'"

    880cosima

During an interview with The Huffington Post at the Roaring Fork restaurant June 6, Mason said he didn't initially think of "Orphan Black" as anything resembling the prime-time feminist juggernaut it's since become.

"John and I didn't set out to do a show that managed to encompass a massive spectrum of feminist themes," he said. "We didn't set out to do that. But the women close to use were going, 'Guys, you know what you got here? Do you know what you're doing?' So, very early on in the process we made that a part of our understanding."

The themes "Orphan Black" has now mastered owe a great debt to those early dialogues. "We discussed all issues about identity, of course, themes of ownership, ownership of your body and individuation," Mason said, "things that the show really mines now without being too heavy-handed."

The sad reality is that just having a woman lead a show in so many complex roles is enough to turn the typical prestige TV model on its head. Finally, men are the one-dimensional obstacles that move the story forward.

"'Orphan Black's straight men are among the stupidest and least riveting fictional creatures to populate the modern television landscape," Jessica Roake wrote for Slate during Season 2. "After years of suffering through completely unrecognizable female characters on TV, it’s hard not to celebrate the show’s almost gleeful denigration of its straight male characters."

Roake argued that this construction of "completely flat" characters was intentional. Mason disagreed.

"We try and create deep characters throughout," he said. "It's simply flipping the usual paradigm back-to-front. Usually, the female characters are shitty, because they're there to support the [male] lead. So now you're seeing the male characters are in supporting roles. So it's a function of that... in the structure and the storytelling that they come off like female characters might come off in another show."

Benedict Cumberbatch is now a dad!

The "Imitation Game" star and his wife, Sophie Hunter, have welcomed their first child, according to People.

“Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” the actor's rep said in a statement to the magazine. “We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks." Cumberbatch's rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Huffington Post.

The 38-year-old actor and Hunter announced in January they were expecting their first child together. The couple got married in a Valentine's Day wedding this year, and shined on the Oscars red carpet a week later.

Jimmy Kimmel suggested some silly baby names to the "Doctor Strange" actor while he was on the host's late-night show in February. Whatever name the couple chooses for their son, we really hope his first word is "penguin" -- and that he can master saying it like his dad finally has.

"Game of Thrones" has never been scared to push the envelope, especially when it comes to its portrayal of women, but one of its most controversial scenes is still on the way.

    tv show gifs
    Image via HBO/HuffPost

Word of Cersei Lannister's nude "walk of atonement" started making rounds last year after a church in Croatia where the scene was going to be filmed almost shut down production. In the books, Cersei is shaved, stripped naked and forced to walk from the Great Sept of Baelor to the Red Keep for penance, but the nudity was going to be an issue for the real-life church. After some compromise with Croatian film commissioners, actress Lena Headey's walk was back on.

The scene sounds devastating, according to "Game of Thrones" actor Eugene Simon, aka Lancel Lannister.

"It's one of those scenes that's so extraordinarily massive when it's actually put on the screen," Simon told The Huffington Post. "I saw enough to know the way Cersei falls is cataclysmic. A lot of very big adjectives have to be used to describe a scene that big."

Simon's character played a pivotal role setting in motion Cersei's Season 5 downfall. When Lancel showed up during the Queen Mother's talk with the High Sparrow in Episode 7, "The Gift," Cersei realized things were about to go down.

    tv show gifs
    Image: HBO/MakeAGif

"We felt the profundity of the moment because it's the first time Cersei ever had something really explode back in her face. It’s pretty powerful stuff," said Simon.

The scene is huge not only for its impact in the story, but also on the show's budget. The shoot cost up to $50,000 per day for four days, according to TMZ, which probably had HBO wishing Lannisters really did "shit gold."

"Game of Thrones" has caused a ton of outrage amongst fans this year with Sansa's rape by Ramsay and Shireen being burned as a sacrifice. With Cersei's walk, it's certain some more backlash is on the way.

While Simon said he would never suggest Sansa's scene wasn't as "shocking and horrifying" as it was perceived, the actor believes there is a reason behind those controversial scenes.

"I think you have to understand 'Game of Thrones' is set in a fantasy world. The underlying society is medieval. It was certainly horrifying, but it wasn’t just meant to horrify, I think, because the position of women during medieval times was so appalling," said Simon.

Fellow "Game of Thrones" actor John Bradley told us he thinks something that gets "slightly lost" is how much more impactful the show's shocking scenes are because of the actors' performances.

"When you read shocking scenes... you know how much more shocking they're going to be because you respect the caliber of performers that we have to tell those stories properly," he said.

Cersei's walk is most definitely going to be included in the list of shocking performances, but try not to worry too much. If the show goes the way of the books, the Queen Mother has a big surprise to look forward to in the end.

Jerry Seinfeld's recent comments that colleges are too politically correct have been met with a lot of backlash, so Bill Maher and Jeff Ross came to the comedian's aid on "Real Time" on Friday.

"If Jerry Seinfeld is too politically incorrect for you, maybe you should look in the mirror," said Maher. Ross added: "Comedy is medicine. It's the best medicine, laughter. You don't want it generic. You want it potent."

Maher has been a staunch critic of PC culture in the past and, again, called out liberals for being too sensitive about being politically correct. Maher says he has had a "much better time" since the audience has stopped exclusively coming from "liberal sources."

The talk show host says he's going to address the topic further next week, so get ready for the PC bashing to continue.

"Real Time with Bill Maher" airs Friday at 10:00 p.m. ET on HBO.

Are you currently knee-deep into your binge of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3? Yeah, us too.

While you've been devouring the new season like a fresh batch of prison cheesecake, you may be wondering who that new character is. Viewers who are halfway through the season -- spoiler alert -- have already met Litchfield's newest inmate, Ruby Rose's Stella Carlin. Piper first meets Stella -- who is rumored to be involved in a love triangle with Piper and Alex -- while sewing lingerie, her new prison job assignment. So who is Ruby Rose after all? Here's eight things to know about her:

    1. Rose is an Australian model, but doesn't really consider herself a model.
Rose scoffed when Rolling Stone called her a model in a recent interview. "'Model,'" she said. "I don't think of myself as a model. I'm genderqueer, and I've got tattoos."

    2. Rose made a powerful short film about gender fluidity.
Last July, the 29-year-old made headlines when she released her short film "Break Free," which explores gender fluidity and the ways gender is performed in culture.

    3. She used to be an MTV VJ in Australia.

    4. She and her fiancée Phoebe Dahl are absolutely adorable.
Rose got engaged to Dahl, a designer and the granddaughter of author Roald Dahl, last year. The two have an adorable engagement story -- Dahl broke into Rose's house at 6 a.m. with flowers and proposed -- and are pretty cute on Instagram as well.

    5. She's not exactly like Stella Carlin.
While speaking to Vanity Fair about her "Orange Is the New Black" character, Rose said she identifies with the inmate on a physical level. "Physically and mannerisms-wise, we’re very similar," Rose told the magazine. "Stella’s very androgynous and comfortable in her skin. But I have insecurities, and I get shy, nervous. Whereas Stella doesn't really give a fuck."

    6. She has a sense of humor.

    7. She hangs out with the "OITNB" cast a lot.

Dinosaurs are back and breaking records.

"Jurassic World" opened on Friday, earning an estimated $82.8 million at the box office, which includes $18.5 million from Thursday's late-night screenings. That makes "Jurassic World" the third biggest opening day film of all time, behind "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" ($91 million) and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" ($84.4 million).

However, as Scott Mendelson of Forbes points out, "Jurassic World" has broken another record. If you subtract the $18.5 million earned from Thursday previews, the Friday-only gross of Colin Trevorrow's film is $64.3 million. That means "Jurassic World" technically had the largest "pure Friday/opening day" of all time, Mendelson says, beating out "Furious 7" ($51.6 million), "Iron Man 3" ($53.25 million), "Avengers 2" ($56.86 million) and "The Avengers" ($62.7 million).

Friday-night estimates were predicting that the film, which stars Chris Pratt, would have a $155 million opening weekend, but that has since skyrocketed. According to Box Office Mojo, Universal is now estimating a total of $181.4 million, while Deadline reported Saturday morning that weekend estimates were between $190 million and $200 million.

Those figures would make the Indominus Rex pass out.

"The Avengers" currently holds the record for the biggest opening weekend of all time at $207.4 million. However, the dinosaur film is expected to beat "Furious 7," which currently holds the record for Universal's top opening weekend at $147.1 million. Regardless, you better hold on to your butts until the final weekend numbers are in.

Did "The Bachelorette" herself reveal the winner of her show after just five episodes?

Variety reports that on Friday night, Kaitlyn Bristowe posted a Snapchat story that showed her in bed with contestant Shawn Booth (the guy that people think looks like Ryan Gosling), leading many to believe that he's not only the Season 11 winner, but that they are still together.

The photos were quickly deleted, but not before they were screencapped and spread around on Twitter.

Booth started out the season strong by winning the first impression rose, and assuming this isn't some promotional stunt for the series, fans are no doubt wondering if they need to watch the remaining episodes.

Neither Bristowe nor Booth have spoken about the photos at this time, nor is it likely they will since they are contractually obligated not to discuss the outcome of the show. Reps for ABC told The Huffington Post they had no comment.

It's been a record-breaking weekend for "Jurassic World."

After the action-packed dinosaur movie enjoyed the third-largest opening day of all time with an estimated $82.8 million at the box office on Friday, "Jurassic World" set another record for second-largest opening weekend in history.

With an estimated $204.6 million at the box office this weekend, "Jurassic World" fell behind 2012’s “The Avengers," which raked in $207 million in its opening weekend. Variety notes that while the "Jurassic Park" reboot was estimated to bring in anywhere from $125 million to $135 million, no one came close to predicting the colossal figures it pulled in at the movies this weekend.

More proof that just about everything Chris Pratt touches turns to gold.
