Nearly two weeks since expressing his views on “justify-anything” Americans, actor Jesse Williams returned to his personal Twitter account on Monday evening to respond to the violence that escalated in Baltimore, Maryland on Monday.

Similar to his previous comments on police misconduct and race relations in America, the “Grey’s Anatomy” star took some media outlets to task over their use of the term “riot" when describing Monday's violent protests against police over the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray.

Williams’ candid thoughts adds to the growing list of celebrities who have spoken out on the violence between police and protestors.

If you believe they've got a picture perfect plan, you're absolutely right.

Lizzie McGuire, Miranda Sanchez and Matt McGuire (aka Hilary Duff, Lalaine and Jake Thomas) had a mini "Lizzie McGuire" cast reunion on Monday night, and all the magic was captured on Instagram:

So this happened last night... #LizzieMcGuire

Thomas had hinted something crazy was going down on his Twitter:

But this is definitely what dreams are made of.

Duff has changed her look up a lot lately, but does this get together mean we could see her go back to butterfly clips in a "Lizzie" reunion show? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: Gordo must have some serious FOMO.

Kendall Jenner Strips Down To Her Calvin Klein Skivvies For V Magazine

The Kardashian-Jenner family is everywhere these days and Kendall Jenner is a big part of that. The 19-year-old model is well on her way to dominating the fashion industry after landing her first major campaign with Calvin Klein and as the new face of Estée Lauder.

Now, she's striking a pose yet again and stripping down to her CK skivvies for photographer Steven Klein for V Magazine's Issue 95.

Along with the sexy photo shoot, Jenner also opened up to the magazine about her struggle to break into modeling.

"You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back," she explained. "It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this business as a teenager. I am so grateful to Marc Jacobs, Riccardo Tisci, Karl Lagerfeld, and Katie Grand, who took a chance on me that first season and gave me an opportunity. My parents taught me that work ethic is one of the most important keys in life, and I believe it.”

That work ethic seems to have paid off considering her Calvin Klein deal includes her first-ever billboard overlooking Sunset Boulevard, which she's "ecstatic about."

"It’s really humbling, and honestly, I am a pretty shy person, but being part of the Calvin campaign and seeing myself up there will be a dream come true," she told V magazine of the massive billboard. "I might have to eat every night at the Chateau Marmont with that hanging over my shoulder. ‘Oh yeah, that little thing? I didn’t notice!’”

Robert Downey Jr. Wishes He'd Left That Uncomfortable Interview Sooner

Last week, a video of Robert Downey Jr. walking out of an interview went viral, and now the "Avengers: Age of Ulton" actor says he should've left sooner.

In the interview with Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy, the journalist asked Downey about his "dark periods," bringing up past drug use and the actor's relationship with his father. Downey cut him off, stood up and left the interview.

On Tuesday, Downey brought up the incident while on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show, saying, "I just wish I'd left sooner."

"I'm one of those guys where I'm always kind of assuming the social decorum is in play and that we're promoting a superhero movie," Downey said. "A lot of kids are going to see it. This has nothing to do with your creepy, dark agenda that I'm feeling like all of a sudden ashamed and obligated to accommodate your weirdo shit."

The "Iron Man" star went on to call Guru-Murthy a "bottom-feeding muckraker," noting that he'd like to avoid similar situations in the future before it turns physical.

A man accused of stealing Sir Elton John's heart-shaped glasses has been arrested, Memphis police say.

Police say 26-year-old Matthew Colvin swiped the famous rocker's prescription eyeglasses from the Rock 'n Soul Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 21. The white glasses, valued at $2,031, were kept in a display case at the museum.

Did you hear? Sir Elton John's glasses were recovered! Here's a statement from Rock'n'Soul Executive Director John...

Police lifted a set of prints from the plexiglass case and immediately matched them to Colvin, who WMC Action News reports was living with his mother in Southaven, Mississippi.

He acknowledged stealing the glasses
when police contacted him by phone on Monday, and was arrested the following day.

John Doyle, executive director of the Rock 'n' Soul Museum, told Fox Memphis the glasses were returned undamaged and will be back on display Wednesday.

Even if Elton John still used the glasses -- which now belong to Hard Rock Cafe International -- he likely wouldn’t have missed them much. The rock 'n' roll legend is rumored to own as many as 250,000 different pairs of glasses, most of which are no longer needed, as he's had surgery to correct his vision.

Bethany Hamilton sure knows how to make pregnancy look peaceful.

When she announced her pregnancy in February, the pro surfer and shark attack survivor said, "I plan to surf as long as I can. Once the belly is pretty big, maybe I'll mellow it out and spend more time swimming and enjoying the ocean."

Now, at 33 weeks pregnant, the 25-year-old mom-to-be is proving that although she can no longer surf at this point in her pregnancy, the sea is still where she belongs.

John Stamos Makes Up With Mary-Kate Olsen After Calling 'Bullsh-t' On 'Full House' Reboot Claims

Most problems in life aren't solved in less than 30 minutes, you know, the way things conveniently worked out on "Full House" and pretty much every other sitcom on television. And yet, John Stamos seemed to clear up his beef with Mary-Kate Olsen in about as much time one would need for a "very special episode."

The 51-year-old actor called "bullshit" on Olsen and her sister Ashley after they told Women's Wear Daily they weren't in the loop regarding the upcoming reboot of "Full House" on Netflix.

"We just found out about it today," Mary-Kate told the publication of "Fuller House." "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."

If it sounded odd that the producers would contact the entire cast except for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen -- the breakout stars of the series -- well, Stamos wasn't about to let them get away with it, especially since he's producing the show. He tweeted:

But things didn't stay tense for long, as Stamos and Olsen seem to have worked things out. On Tuesday night, the actor tweeted:

"Fuller House" is set to feature original cast members Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, with guest appearances from Stamos. According to Netflix, appearances from Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and the Olsen twins are still up in the air at this time, though it's unlikely the sisters will appear given that they have both expressed that they are no longer interested in acting.

Josh Groban's 'Stages' Is Proof That Kelly Clarkson Hasn't Gotten The Due She Deserves

Josh Groban gave the entire Internet chills when he dropped the first track from "Stages," his new album of Broadway covers. It was a version of "All I Ask Of You" from Phantom of the Opera," featuring vocals from Kelly Clarkson, and it quickly went viral, garnering praise from theater buffs for its grandiosity.

Clarkson is one of three guests to appear on the record -- famed trumpeter and composer Chris Botti is on "Old Devil Moon" and Broadway legend Audra McDonald sings on "If I Loved You" -- but Clarkson's vocals were the ones Groban really wanted to showcase.

"I’ve wanted to sing with Kelly for such a long time because she has one of the great powerhouse vocals in the whole business," Groban told The Huffington Post. "Kelly runs deep. She’s got all the light, all the dark. She makes incredibly sound artistic choices."

Clarkson has said before that no one wanted to collaborate with her, and told BBC Radio 1, "I have asked several people ... Sometimes I feel like I have the plague, or leprosy, they're like, 'If you get too close ...' I don't know." But Groban knew from the start he wanted her on "Stages."

"Sometimes her risk-taking, I know she feels, has bit her in the ass," he said. "But it was risk-taking she needed to do. It was exciting to hear her do it. She’s got the 'Idol' thing that’s maybe part of the reason for that, I don’t know. Everybody knows she can sing stratospherically in the pop world, but I wanted people to be blown away hearing her sing something that was totally different than what they’re used to. She took on this song and hit notes I’ve never heard her sing before."

"Stages" also seemed like a huge risk for Groban when he first started putting the album together. "You need to know your fans are there for you for a record like this," he said. "You want to know your label is there for you. You want to feel like it's not going to be 'tree falls in the woods.'" He'd been thinking about selecting the tracks for ages, but always thought, "That's an artsy side project." He said, "Sometimes in this business you accidentally get over-thinky and jaded and ironically, when you decide to just take the leap of what you wanted to do for so long, people are there for you."

In the near future, though, Groban would like to get back to his musical theater roots and hit Broadway. The musical "Chess," from which he covers "Anthem" on "Stages," is the dream show right now, he said. "It’s always in the back of my mind. I don’t want to do a stunt casting thing, where I jump in and it’s been on for a year. I want to workshop it with a cast. I want to start a classic show like 'Chess.' I think that to be an original cast member of a show that’s new like that, you have to work it from the beginning. I have more dedication and respect for it than to jump in out of nowhere."

Josh Groban's "Stages" is out now via Reprise Records.

A Female-Driven '21 Jump Street' Is Reportedly In The Works

Move over, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. Make way for the ladies.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a female-driven spin-off of Sony's "21 Jump Street" franchise is in the works. And the best part? Sony has reportedly hired "Broad City" writers Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs (who also plays Trey in the show) to write the screenplay. This comes after news earlier this year of Sony's "Ghostbusters" reboot with an all-female cast.

In addition to the spin-off, next "Jump Street" film with Tatum and Hill will reportedly have a crossover with "Men in Black. The crossover plans were initially revealed in Sony's hacked emails.

Sony has declined to comment on the female "Jump Street" report, and Aniello and Downs' reps were not immediately available for comment. In the meantime, we're left hoping they cast Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer as the leads because, honestly, what could be better?

Ryan Guzman Describes How ‘Too Much Oomph' Hurt J.Lo During ‘Boy Next Door' Sex Scene

Jennifer Lopez got a little more “oomph” than she bargained for while filming her “The Boy Next Door” sex scene, co-star Ryan Guzman recently revealed.

While promoting the thriller’s release on DVD and Blu-Ray, the 27-year-old actor told People magazine that he accidentally caused J.Lo to hit her head on the ceiling while the two were filming their intimate scene.

"It was right before we get into the very, very steamy part of the film," Guzman told People. "My character has to pick up Jennifer -- and me being stupid -- I put a little bit too much oomph into it."

"Let's just say that the next couple takes, I was very, very gentle,” he added. “She was a trooper. She hit her head, she came right back down, and she said, 'Hey, I'm light. Just take it easy. You don't need to muscle up.' "

In “The Boy Next Door,” Lopez stars as single mom Claire. The recent divorcee ends up having a passionate one-night stand with her younger neighbor Noah (Guzman) that she immediately regrets. But Noah's obsession with Claire ultimately takes a turn for the worse and puts her and her family danger.

Even before the film’s release, Guzman wasn’t afraid to talk about how awkward filming the sex scene with Lopez was.

“That was the time in the film when I was the most uncomfortable,” Guzman told Latina last December. “We had to choreograph every piece... It was the most unsexy-really-sexy scene that you’ll see on screen.”

Before “The Boy Next Door” DVD and Blu-Ray release on Tuesday, Guzman also told Variety Latino that the film prompted intense reactions from J.Lo fans.

“Jennifer’s fans have threatened me for treating her like that [in the movie] or for kissing her … I’d like to respond and tell them: “Like, you know it’s not real life and it’s just a movie?,” Guzman said.

HBO Aims To Honor Bessie Smith's Legacy Leading Up To Biopic Premiere With Music Tour

To celebrate the upcoming premiere of HBO’s original film, “Bessie,” the award-winning cable company launched a special two city event series in New York this week honoring the legacy of the blues-jazz singer called, “Bessie’s 81 Theater Tour.”

The event, which will coincide with the New York and Los Angeles premieres of the biopic starring Queen Latifah, will feature a workshop lead by Grammy Award-winning producer Bryan Michael Cox and singer-songwriter Stacy Barthe. The workshop will be offered to local artists in an effort to mimic the creative music process once used by Smith and her peers.

“In today’s music, I believe the constant utilization of live instrumentation is missing,” Cox said in a statement emailed to HuffPost. “Whenever that element is injected into popular music in this era, the song usually becomes a hit. One great example of this is Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk.’"

Barthe underscored Cox's comment by stating how “disheartening” it is to hear today’s music in comparison to songs produced by artists during Smith’s era of music.

“We're seeing an influx of music that to me, is thoughtless,” she admitted to HuffPost. “It lacks the real grit and emotion that artists from past generations had. You often don't see today's recording artists pouring their soul into their music. It can feel very manufactured at times, which is disheartening.”

In addition to the artist workshop, the two city promotional tour will also feature a music showcase comprised of a series of performances from local artists. It will conclude with a private dinner for native influencers and a surprise performance by an "A-list artist."

“When thinking about how we wanted to build buzz about the film, we wanted to do something that was completely unique and immersive,” Lucinda Martinez, SVP of HBO Multicultural Marketing said in a press release for the event.

“We’re confident that this event series properly honors the legacy of Bessie Smith by showcasing aspiring songwriters and producers. We want to raise awareness for the film, create connections and offer these young creatives a platform to share their craft.”

The “Bessie’s 81 Theater Tour” will conclude in Los Angeles next month leading up to the May 16 premiere of “Bessie” on HBO.

Pamela Anderson And Rick Salomon Are Officially Divorced

Pamela Anderson is officially divorced from Rick Salomon.

The former "Baywatch" star and the poker player, both 47, finalized their messy divorce earlier this week and released a joint statement Wednesday, People reports.

"Public divorces can be harsh and cruel -- we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused -– we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on," the ex-couple said. "There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well."

The divorce proceedings took an ugly turn in March, when Anderson filed a restraining order claiming that Salomon was abusive and that she was "scared of what he is capable of doing to me." In emails filed with the restraining order, Salomon allegedly called Anderson a "serial baby killer to her husbands."

According to TMZ, Salomon will pay the actress about $1 million in the divorce settlement. The pair first wed in 2007, only to have the marriage annulled two months later. They rekindled their romance and tied the knot again in January 2014. Anderson filed for divorce six months later, then petitioned to have the initial filing dismissed shortly thereafter.

The actress has two teenage sons from her first marriage to Tommy Lee, whom she was married to from 1995 to 1998. Her marriage to second husband Kid Rock lasted a few months in 2006.

'Real Housewives Of New York' Star Bethenny Frankel Is Dating Again, But Not Online

Bethenny Frankel may be single, but you won't be seeing the "Real Housewives of New York" star on Tinder anytime soon.

"I'm not interested in ... online dating right now," she told HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker on Wednesday. "It's something that's not appealing to me. I meet a lot of people and maybe I would meet someone through someone else, or not, but who knows? You never know."

The Skinnygirl mogul said she's actively dating but "taking it slow."

"I talk about this in my book [I Suck at Relationships So You Don't Have To] that being a mom is a great way to set a pace -- and being a businesswoman," she explained. "I'm with my daughter, and that time that I have left over from when I'm not working and with my daughter, that's the time I could go on a date, and that's not that much time, so it makes it more precious and more paced. If you don't have a job or you don't have kids, you have all the time in the world to focus on some guy, and it's good to have your own life and independence [so you're] not always focusing on some guy."

Frankel is still finalizing her divorce from Jason Hoppy, with whom she split in December of 2012 after two and a half years of marriage. The contentious process has led the reality star to swear off marriage in the future.

"I will never get legally married again. I will never, ever be legally married again," she told Andy Cohen in a recent "Watch What Happens Live" interview. "Marriage is the 'Hotel California': You can check out anytime, but you can never leave."

Roseanne Barr Is Going Blind. Here's What You Should Know

$

0
In an interview last week with The Daily Beast, actress Roseanne Barr revealed that she is slowly going blind.

Barr, 62, hasn't lost her vision yet, but said she suffers from two eye conditions: Macular degeneration and glaucoma. Michigan ophthalmologist Steven A. Shanbom, MD, speaking generally because he has not treated Barr, told CNN why that combination is difficult: "Macular degeneration takes away her central vision, and glaucoma is taking away her peripheral vision," he explained.

Barr has age-related macular degeneration, which is a leading cause of vision loss in people over 50, according to the National Eye Institute. It mostly affects the retina, or the central vision that focuses on objects ahead of us. Glaucoma, on the other hand, includes a number of disorders that affect the eye’s optic nerve, and is usually caused by pressure in the eyes and fluid buildup.

Barr told The Daily Beast that her vision is starting to narrow:

My vision is closing in now. It’s something weird. But there are other weird things. That one’s harsh, ’cause I read a lot, and then I thought, ‘Well, I guess I could hire somebody to read for me and read to me.’ But I like words and I like looking. You do what you have to do. I just try and enjoy vision as much as possible -- y’know, living it up. My dad had it, too.

Vision loss, especially in people with a family history, is in many cases inevitable as we age. But you can take preventive measures. Dr. Rachel Bishop of the National Eye Institute told The Huffington Post to avoid smoking and remember to wear sunglasses.

"Smoking seems to affect circulation," she explained, adding that circulation diminishes as we age. As for sunglasses, they help prevent sun damage, which accumulates with age just as it does on your skin. "Over time these damages accumulate and the body can't compensate after a certain point. You [then] see damage to the surface structures and the deep structures [of the eye], like your retina," she said.

Getting enough exercise can help, according to CNN, as can eating foods rich in eye-protective antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Those include lutein- and zeathan-rich green vegetables, vitamin E-packed almonds and citrus, and also berries, which are high in Vitamin C. And don't forget about your regular eye exams!

"Without that eye exam we can't identify a problem and treat it," Bishop said. "So much of blindness and vision loss is preventable, but the key is early detection. I have a number of patients with severe vision loss because they had glaucoma that they didn't get treated sooner."

Morgan Freeman: I May Be A Bigot -- And Maybe Everyone Else Is, Too

"Are we all bigots?"

This is a question raised by actor Morgan Freeman in Wednesday night's premiere episode on a new season of the Science Channel's "Through the Wormhole With Morgan Freeman."

Freeman, who serves as the host and executive producer of the show, takes on the role of race and presents scientific data to better understand how implicit bias affects the daily decisions we make.

"If you think you see everyone as equal, you're kidding yourself. We all have biases, and no matter how open-minded we think we are, stereotypes color our judgment of others, and can lead us badly astray," Freeman says in the opening sequence of the episode.

"When did hate become hard-wired into our brains? Are we all born to discriminate against our fellow humans?"

Freeman addresses these questions, and many others, by featuring the thoughts and opinions of scientists who are working to unlock those subconscious links within all of us that determine our decision-making processes. Scientific research -- such as that conducted by the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity -- may eventually help to better understand the role implicit bias plays in the judgements we form.

"If you ask that question -- are we all bigots? -- it's amazing the number of answers you'll get in the negative," Freeman told The Huffington Post. "I would stand up and say very quickly, 'I am not bigoted,' but then you see the show and realize, 'Wait a minute, yes I am.'

"We hope that will be one of the most provocative shows that we've done. I'm almost certain that it's going to spark a dialogue."

The unrest that has unfolded in Baltimore, Maryland over the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, who was fatally injured after an arrest, has reignited concerns around policing and black lives. It has also fueled discussions on the role of race in the criminal justice system -- however, Freeman and his team are digging deeper to expose the role of race in our own lives.

"We're very sad about recent events that make this [show] so timely," said Bernadette McDaid, vice president of production for Science Channel.

"What we're hoping is that, by highlighting this inclination toward subconscious bias, from the topics very much being discussed in the public forum, it'll draw attention to the fact that we are able to overcome that quick-fire bias, so there's a very hopeful message in the show."

This sixth season of "Through the Wormhole" also tackles subjects as diverse as:

Can Time Go Backwards?
Are We Here For A Reason?
Do We Live In The Matrix?
Are There Aliens Inside Us?
Why Do We Lie?

Ryan Adams Perfectly Covers 'Summer Of '69' By Bryan Adams

$

Ryan Adams isn't known for having a sense of humor about the fact that he's just one "B" away from sharing names with a certain Canadian rock star.

In 2002, Adams famously stopped his show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville when a fan shouted out a request for "Summer of '69," the 1985 hit by Bryan Adams.

Adams -- Ryan, that is -- reportedly pulled out his wallet, gave the fan a $30 refund and ordered him out.

Performing Tuesday night at that very same venue, Adams offered a nod to the incident by playing "Summer of '69." Giving the song an acoustic spin, Adams turned the rousing '80s anthem into a melancholy tune much more reflective of its lyrics.

Last year, Ryan Adams covered another Bryan Adams song, playing "Run To You" at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara:

As for that 2002 show, Adams -- Ryan, that is -- may have gotten something of a bum rap. Sara Quin of the duo Tegan and Sara, who opened for Adams that night, later said that it was no mere song request that got the heckler booted.

"It wasn't like this guy was suddenly, like, 'Hey! Play 'Summer Of 69.' He'd say shit between every song and be noisy and shoot off his mouth like a total asshole every chance he got," she told Now Toronto later that year. "We were playing this amazing place where everyone was completely quiet, and people in the audience were telling him to shut up. Ryan finally confronted the dude 'cause he was ruining the show for everyone else."

Quin said Adams actually had a sense of humor about the whole Ryan-Bryan thing.

"Tegan and I teased Ryan about Bryan Adams and he didn't care," she said.

According to Billboard, the theater's manager stopped the fan on his way out, apologized and let him back in. He got to see the rest of the show, and he kept Adams' $30.

As Tegan and Sara would say... "Everything Is Awesome."

31 Lessons To Be Learned From A 1983 Issue Of Vogue

Carrie Bradshaw may be the ultimate Vogue fanatic, but when it comes to reading fashion magazines, my interest knows no bounds. Yes, I am that person at the airport who buys six magazines for a two-hour flight.

So you can imagine my excitement when my mom's friend showed up at my door with a stack of magazines from the '80s that she found in her house. "Maybe you could do something with these at work," she said. "If not, you can just throw them out."

old mags

"THROW THEM OUT!? No way," I thought. And with that, I set off investigating the heavenly artifacts. Much to my delight, a perusal of Vogue's February 1983 issue proved to be not only entertaining, but also quite informative.

Here are 31 things I learned along my journey.

1. Vogue has always been pretty pricey.

In 1983, an issue cost $3. Thirty-two years later in 2015, it costs $4.99 -- just $1.99 more.

2. Revlon created the first flexible mascara wand.

3. Stripes are eternally cool.

Out of 352 pages, there are 41 outfits with some element of stripes.

4. Or hats, for that matter.

I lost count after 25.

5. Ads relied on text instead of familiar faces to evoke emotion.

6. But they still counted on celebrity endorsements.

From the likes of Sophia Loren and Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter .

Anna Wintour's predecessor started working at Vogue in the '50s, and was replaced by Wintour in 1988, allegedly without notice.

8. Bill Blass was in its heyday.

The brand, which had a huge following in the '80s, will relaunch in 2016 under the creative direction of Chris Benz.

9. Meryl Streep was, is and always will be queen.

A review of her film "Sophie's Choice" by Molly Haskell reads: "It doesn't help that the two male parts have been pruned to give full prominence to Sophie, so that she seems to be acting directly for the audience rather than with her co-stars. For all these reasons, I found myself more intrigued by the actress than moved by the character, fascinated with Meryl's 'choices.'"

10. Benito II was called "The best southern Italian restaurant in Manhattan!"

It has since closed. However, oddly enough, The Original Benito One, is still around.

11. Tobacco ads not only existed, they were also really appealing.

12. Having #onfleek eyebrows was important then, too.

As told by an interview with a hairstylist named Nilo Viyella, on changing women's beauty: "The biggest face-changer," he says, is "brows. When I lighten them, the whole face softens, makeup is perfected almost automatically."

13. The idea of doing hair and makeup yourself to save time was a new one.

In more places than one, I read about the "new direction in hair-styling and care," which involved teaching women to do their hair, makeup and nails at home.

14. The layout was kind of ... confusing.

Most of the time, I had no idea what I was reading about until halfway through the page.

15. Esprit had a catalog, and you had to pay for it.

Two whole dollars!

I'd like to think of this as civilized, controlled trolling.

18. According to my horoscope, I would have earned extraordinary popularity on the 18th & 19th.

Darn!

19. Chase once had a fitness program in the office that dropped you for lack of attendance.

21. The FDA had just proposed a standard warning for pregnant women on over-the-counter drugs.

22. Makeup tutorials came in the mail instead of from YouTube.

One option, Aziza's "All About Eyes," would set you back 50 cents. Plus, you know, the postage you'd need to send someone an envelope with 50 cents inside.

23. Two words: Warm. Salad.

It was the hottest thing.

24. Martha Stewart had it right all along.

"Food is going to keep getting better and better," she predicted. Now that's a good thing.

25. There was a WINE SECTION.

And get this -- most of the wines included were under $10.

26. You could get a round trip flight to Europe for $399.

Sigh.

27. Tokyo was acknowledged as a "new" fashion capital.

japan

"The Japanese influence is becoming more and more evident in fashion," the article stated.

28. People felt pretty much the same way about sweatpants then as they do now.

An excerpt from an article called "Getting The Most Out Of Fashion Now" reads: "When you look at the whole new category of leisure, weekend, call-it-what-you-will dressing, you'll see the most appealing, most inventive, and often the least expensive dressing this spring." Translation: sweatpants are cheap and amazing.

29. Looking thin was very desirable.

"Pants that give you the longest line, the narrowest waist ..." UGH.

30. You were nothing without a good suit.

31. And finally, women have always had good taste.

"My favorite foods are meat and cheese. Could I be eating too much protein?" asked a Vogue reader. To that I say, definitely not and also, do you want to hang out sometime?

Larry Wilmore Blasts Fox News' Coverage On Baltimore Riots

The media's coverage around the unrest in Baltimore, Maryland this week has received criticism from protesters, individuals and those in the media themselves. Just ask late night talk show host Larry Wilmore.

During Tuesday’s episode of “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore,” the comedian-writer blasted Fox News for its “racial approach” to covering the string of violence between protestors and police who have clashed during demonstrations over the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray. Gray died from injuries he sustained during an arrest.

Wilmore criticized the network’s team of on-air correspondents for describing the riots as something they would see in a “third world nation.” “Let me give you guys some advice: when sh*t like this goes down all of you should just go home and just show reruns of ‘Killing Jesus,’ because you’re never going to be able to relate to this,” he said. “But if anything explains America it’s those pictures. Oppression, riot, oppression, riot is exactly the pattern that built this country. Starting with the tax oppression that led to the tea party riot –- the party you all seem so in love with.”

Wilmore then proceeded to replay clips from the network’s coverage in which correspondents specifically focused on a local gang identified as "Black Guerilla Family." Meanwhile, rather than share news on the positive work they've done, like uniting with other local gang members to help bring peace to the community, most coverage harped on the term "Black Gueriilla" to describe the scene.

Wilmore wasn't pleased.

“F**k you motherf***ers, man,” he said. “Seriously. What kind of sh*t is that? That’s rolling off your tongues a little too gleefully. You guys sound like five year olds who just learned the word ‘vagina.’”

Check out more of Larry Wilmore’s thoughts in the clip above.
