Legendary R&B singer Dionne Warwick has been released from the hospital after nearly two weeks following a fall in the shower in her South Orange, N.J., home on Jan. 24, TMZ reported. Warwick, who had ankle surgery after the incident, is expected to make a full recovery.

A week after Warwick -- who is a cousin of Whitney Houston -- suffered the fall, news broke that Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a bathtub. Brown was reportedly put in a medically induced coma following the incident, which is still being investigated.

Warwick, who was released Thursday, sent out a tweet the next day thanking all those who have been offering support:

Warwick's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Huffington Post.

Warning: "Walking Dead" spoilers below! There is no sanctuary!

According to Andrew Lincoln, the second half of "Walking Dead" Season 5 is going to get "radically different." The star, who plays Rick Grimes on the show, opened up to Entertainment Weekly about the show's return in a recent interview:

I think that people have to be prepared for it. We also go very dark and then something different happens in the story which I think is going to breathe incredible new life further down the road for the show.

Lincoln went on to say that he's "half-terrified, half-so-excited" to see the reaction to the new direction of the show, adding, "It’s f--king nuts!" The comments back up showrunner Scott Gimple, who previously teased the second half would have a "huge change" coming for the situations of the characters. "Walking Dead" star Josh McDermitt also told HuffPost Entertainment that the show is going to get "weird in a great way."

So just what is this big change? Does it have something to do with the fact that Lincoln shaved his beard? The good news for fans is that they won't need to wait long to find out. "Walking Dead" returns this Sunday to AMC.

Your plans to go see "Fifty Shades of Grey" in full costume have just taken a turn. In a statement to Mashable, AMC Theaters spokesperson Ryan Noonan revealed viewers would not be permitted to bring many movie-related props into the theater.

"While we welcome those guests who want to show their excitement for a film by dressing up in costume," Noonan said, "we do not permit weapons (real or fake), or props/costumes that would make guests uncomfortable, or detract from the moviegoing experience."

After months of anticipation, "Fifty Shades Of Grey" finally hits theaters Friday, Feb. 13. While you may not be able to show up in your outfit of choice, the film's trailer suggests you still likely won't be bored.

Sam Smith Wins Best New Artist At The Grammys

Sam Smith won Best New Artist at the Grammys on Sunday. He saved the inspirational words for all the other awards he's (probably) going to win tonight, using the speech to quickly thank his label, management, mum and dad.

Smith beat out Iggy Azalea, HAIM, Brandy Clark and Bastille for the award. For those who didn't win, Taylor Swift -- presenter and loser of the award in 2008 -- had a recommendation.

Smith has skyrocketed into his current fame. According to NPR, two years ago he was "cleaning toilets in a bar." Now, Smith finds his name being uttered in the same breath as songstress Adele.

He recently made headlines with his video for "Lay Me Down," featuring a gay marriage in a church. It seems fitting the Grammys are supportive of this, considering they had Queen Latifah marry 33 couples in the audience last year.

In his Rolling Stone profile, Smith told the magazine he was vocal about equality during his time in Catholic school. "From what I can remember, they believe that you can be homosexual, but you just can't practice it, which is ridiculous," he said. "I would just say, 'I am proof that it's genetic. It has to be, because it wasn't a choice.' And that's it. That's my only argument, you know? You love who you love, and I can't help that I like guys."

The category received some well-deserved backlash for not including anyone of color. "This year the Grammy Awards promise to be a throwback to that time when Shirley Temple got down in blackface -- dumb-stoopid-affected accents and all," Raquel Cepeda wrote for Rolling Stone in regard to the nominations. And the same year as the whitest Oscars in nearly two decades, no less.

Beyoncé's Grammy Dress 2015 Proves Black Is Always The New Black

As the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, Beyoncé has had plenty of time to gain her footing when getting dressed for the annual ceremony. Whether she's hitting the stage in a super seductive outfit or collecting all of those awards in a curve-hugging gown, Mrs. Carter runs the show.

Beyoncé went with an all-black Proenza dress for the 2015 Grammy Awards. While we've seen the pop star wear see-through designs like this before, this neck-plunging number is obviously another hit, especially with those emerald jewels. But is anyone else getting "Bills, Bills, Bills" vibes with Bey's long and wavy hair and super bronzed makeup? We are, and we love it!

Do you think Queen Bey's Grammy dress is a winner?

Lady Gaga Couldn't Even Handle AC/DC's Grammys Opening

AC/DC shook the Grammys stage on Sunday, performing a string of songs which included "Highway to Hell."

Lady Gaga, rock star at heart and Tony Bennett's BFF, could not contain her excitement.

Neither could Jamie Foxx.

The rockers are currently gearing up for a summer tour to promote last year's "Rock or Bust," which debuted at no. 3 on the Billboard 200 in November. The group, a seven-time nominee, was not up for awards this year, as the album was released after the eligibility period ended.

AC/DC had an eventful end to 2014, as the group's long-time drummer, Phil Rudd, was accused of "attempting to procure a murder" in November. The charge was dropped, but in an interview with HuffPost Entertainment, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young said the band had issues with Rudd before the legal trouble.

"When we were recording, it was quite difficult to just get him in the studio," Young said. "When we were in London when we were starting up to do the video shoot and stuff and it was the same then. He didn’t show, you know? That’s something we’ve got to resolve. Phil's got to sort himself out."

Welcome back, Miley Cyrus! The pop star skipped last year's Grammy Awards to play Guitar Hero and do some organizing. But she definitely made up for it Sunday night when she stepped out in a black cut-out gown by Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture.

The "Bangerz" singer, who is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, definitely enjoys turning heads when it comes to her personal style and her look at the 2015 Grammy Awards was no exception. But we love that she's gone for a more sophisticated look, while still keeping it very sexy.

Ariana Grande's 2015 Grammys performance was (my) everything on Sunday night.

The 21-year-old singer took the stage to perform an emotional ballad, "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart." Grande stunned in a chic deep purple dress with peekaboo cutouts. There was smoke, there was sultriness, and Grande looked super pleased with herself:

Grande scored two Grammy nominations for this year's awards: Best Pop Vocal Album for "My Everything," and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang," her hit collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.

Rihanna's Grammy Dress 2015 Is A Ginormous Pink Pouf By Giambattista Valli

Rihanna is a certified "fashion icon," so it's no surprise that she's one of the stars we couldn't wait to see Sunday night at the 2015 Grammy Awards. The "Unapologetic" singer took our breath away in a huge, poufy, hot pink gown designed by Giambattista Valli. She's seriously the only star that could pull a design like this off.

And considering RiRi, who's nominated for BestRap/Sung Collaboration, was a no-show at last year's Grammys, we're thankful she decided to grace us with her fabulousity this time around.

Here's a look at Rihanna's ginormous gown! Let us know what you think of it in the comments section below.

Miranda Lambert killed it on stage at the 2015 Grammy Awards Sunday night.

Her album "Platinum" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and took home the title of Album of the Year at the 2014 Country Music Association Awards.

Welp, now we know why everyone loves Jane Fonda's work out videos so much.

Fonda, who is seemingly ageless, dominates the red carpet at most events and the 2015 Grammy Awards show was no exception. The 77-year-old beauty stepped out in an emerald green, wait for it... JUMPSUIT, that put many of the other attendees to shame.

Kanye Performs 'Only One' At Grammys, First Of Two Performances

0
0
For the first time in six years, the Grammys fell right in the middle of #YeezySeason. Kanye West performed "Only One" during Sunday's Grammys, the first of two songs he was scheduled to play ("FourFiveSeconds," his collaboration with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney, is the other).

West wrote "Only One" from the perspective of his late mother, Donda.

The Grammys teased that West's first song would be "a never-before-seen solo performance," but that proved sort of untrue. West already performed his latest track, "Only One", in concert last weekend.

The Grammys waited until the veritable last minute to announce West's presence. He was added to the star-studded bill on Tuesday morning and immediately became one of the best reasons to watch the show. His last Grammys appearance came in 2009, when he performed "American Boy" with Estelle and "Swagga Like Us" with Jay Z, T.I., Lil Wayne and M.I.A. (he even helped announce the winner in that year's Best New Artist category). Since, West has been outspoken against The Recording Academy, especially after "Yeezus" was snubbed in the top categories at last year's ceremony.

"I’m 36 years old and I have 21 Grammys," West said during a concert in 2013. "That’s the most Grammys of any 36-year-old. Out of all of those 21 Grammys, I’ve never won a Grammy against a white artist. ... So when the Grammys nominations come out, and 'Yeezus' is the top one or two album on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys, what are they trying to say? Do they think that I wouldn’t notice? Do they think that, someway, that I don’t have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment?"

Continued West: "But no, no. Only positive energy, only positive vibes. But when you see me talking about what people are doing when I say 'marginalized,' when I say 'boxed in,' when I say 'hold back,' when I say 'people are afraid of the truth,' that’s one example right in front of you. And people come to me and they congratulate me on those two nominations. Fuck those nominations."

'Our Bitch Madonna' Performs 'Living For Love' At The Grammys

Madonna performed "Living for Love" -- the inaugural single from her forthcoming album, "Rebel Heart" -- for the first time at the Grammys on Sunday. Dressed like a matador and surrounded by topless men wearing bull masks, the iconic singer asked the audience to rise to its feet before exiting the stage through the ceiling.

Madonna was introduced by Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus, who chose the wise words "Let's give it up for our bitch, Madonna! She made me call her that..." to do so.

Prior to taking the stage, the icon mooned the red carpet attendees.

The 56-year-old singer rushed to release "Living for Love," along with five other tracks from "Rebel Heart," in an official capacity after unfinished versions of two other tracks leaked in late November. Madonna hadn't yet announced the album's title or release plans when the initial leaks occurred, but she's since set March 10 as the drop date. The song's video, in which Madonna portrays a matador fighting off an army of men dressed as bulls, premiered last week.

Madonna confirmed via Instagram that she will also perform at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 25, three days after "Living for Love" is slated for release in the U.K.

This marks the second consecutive year Madonna has performed on the Grammy stage. In 2014, she joined Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert to sing "Same Love" while a few dozen weddings took place on the telecast.

Another Grammy Awards, another dose of Taylor Swift's epic dance moves.

Pharrell Williams' Grammy 2015 Suit Is Adidas, Turns White When You Take A Picture Of It

We'll never forget Pharrell Williams' big brown Vivienne Westwood hat which quickly became the biggest fashion moment on the Grammy's red carpet last year. And it's hard to top that, but the "Happy" singer served up yet another eye-catching look Sunday night at the 2015 Grammy Awards.

At first glance there wasn't anything too surprising about Pharrell's shorts suit -- he's known for rocking leg-baring designs on the red carpet. But at second glance, his light gray suit literally glowed. That's right, the suit -- from his Adidas collection -- is made of 3M reflective fabric, which makes the suit turn into a nearly blinding white when photographed with a flash. Genius!

What do you think of Pharrell's innovative look?
