Michael Keaton Is Not At All Jealous Of Ben Affleck's 'Batman'

Michael Keaton is really not jealous of new "Batman" star Ben Affleck. Asked in an interview with Shortlist if he felt envious of Affleck's turn in the role, Keaton expressed confidence in his legacy as the superhero.

"No," he said. "Do you know why? Because I’m Batman. I’m very secure in that."

The question was in reaction to other prior "Batman" actor Christian Bale's revelation that he was jealous that Affleck got the part. Speaking to Empire, the star shared his reaction to the casting news.

"I've got to admit initially, even though I felt that it was the right time to stop, there was always a bit of me going, 'Oh, go on ... Let's do another,'" Bale said. "So when I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour."

"The fact that I'm jealous of someone else playing Batman," Bale continued, "I think I should have gotten over it by now."

Sony Hack Reveals Spider-Man, Marvel Plans You Already Knew

$

Beyond the outrageous and silly, a lot of superhero news has leaked online in the wake of a massive cyber attack on Sony Pictures. But if the contents of the stolen emails sound somewhat familiar to comic-book fans, that's because so much of the information was already previously reported, sometimes before the email exchanges between Sony executives even took place. Ahead, a brief guide to all the superhero news you already knew about before the Sony Pictures hack:

Spider-Man could have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe
While Spider-Man and Captain America are both part of the Marvel Comics universe, they exist in different realms onscreen. Spider-Man is a Sony property; Captain America and his fellow Avengers belong to Disney. But according to emails sent on Oct. 13 and published by The Daily Beast, Sony and Disney discussed putting Spider-Man in "Captain America: Civil War." One week before those notes were sent, however, on Oct. 6, HitFix writer Drew McWeeny alluded to the same thing:

While I can't get the confirmations I need to verify the story, I'm hearing that there are some very cool "Spider-Man" plans being discussed that would help Sony refocus their enormously important franchise while also opening up some connections in the onscreen Marvel movie universe that would blow fandom's minds. Will it work out? I don't know. I would love to be able to state for sure that it's happening. What seems clear from what I've heard is that Marvel wants to be able to play with all of their characters, and if they can make that work creatively and on a corporate level, they will, and that means the world gets bigger again.

On Oct. 7, one day after McWeeny's report published, Entertainment Weekly's Anthony Breznican revealed that "delicate preliminary conversations" were underway between Sony and Disney regarding Spider-Man.

Sony could reboot Spider-Man again
Following the disappointing box-office returns for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," there was much discussion online about the future of Spider-Man. The same thing happened inside Sony: As reported by The Daily Beast, Sony executives, in emails dated Nov. 13, had conversations about rebooting the Spider-Man franchise for a third time. Three months earlier, on Aug. 4, Deadline.com reported that similar discussions had occurred. On Oct. 7, in a post that provided a rundown of various Spider-Man rumors, Badass Digest editor Devin Faraci reported that one of Sony's options was to "soft reboot" Spider-Man within the studio's "Sinister Six" film. That movie would have "a new actor playing a Spidey who works with the villains."

There could be an all-female Spider-Man movie
A Sept. 20 email exchange discussed a female superhero movie within the Spider-Man world and the possibility of building a shared universe on par with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadline.com also reported on that news in August:

Having pushed the next installment of its Spider-Man franchise out of 2016 and into 2018, Sony Pictures is doing a top-to-bottom revamp of its most important property, insiders say. And that includes a female superhero movie which is being eyed for a 2017 release date, Deadline has learned.

On Oct. 30, Faraci wrote that the potential project, called "Glass Ceiling," would bring together female characters in the Spider-Man world.

Joss Whedon might not direct "Marvel's The Avengers: Infinity War"
While not part of Sony, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was discussed in emails too. One correspondence apparently revealed that "Captain America: Civil War" directors Anthony and Joe Russo would likely take over for Joss Whedon on the third "Avengers" film, "Infinity War," which will get split into two parts. That was known before as well: Faraci reported the Russos rumor in October. In a November post about Daniel Bruhl joining "Captain America: Civl War," Deadline.com confirmed the speculation was real:

The Russos are building up their Marvel cred with this all-star outing, and I keep hearing they will step up to the ultimate Marvel all-star team and take the reins of The Avengers franchise from Joss Whedon, possibly with that next film that will shoot back to back.

Apparently A Mama June Sex Tape Is Worth $1 Million

Vivid Entertainment -- the company that unleashed sex tapes featuring Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson, as well as a professionally filmed porn video with former "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham -- would like to obtain a video of June "Mama June" Shannon.

TMZ reports that Vivid is willing to shell out a cool $1 million if Shannon and her estranged husband, Sugar Bear Thompson, make a sex tape together.

In a letter to the former "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star, Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch explained that BBWs (big beautiful women) have become very popular among his company's audience, and he believes Shannon "would fit into that category."

Two months ago, TLC canceled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" amid allegations that Shannon was dating Mark McDaniel, the man who was convicted of molesting her daughter, Anna, when she was 8 years old.

It's unclear what Shannon's financial situation is since losing the reality show, however, she did take to Facebook on Dec. 13 to state she doesn't plan on taking Vivid up on their rather generous offer.

Here's the Full Story About the Vine I Made

$

As humans we're going to make mistakes. It's what makes us human, and most of the time, the most effective way of learning is from a mistake. I, Nash Grier, have made more mistakes than I can remember. Some big, some small, some nobody has seen, and some millions of people have seen. But ever since I was young, my parents told me to use these mistakes and make them into something positive.

In April of 2013, I made some of the best and worst decisions of my life. As a kid that just turned 15 in my freshman year of high school, I was in a weird place. I went to a small private school in North Carolina with maybe 200 kids. It was very different from your typical high school experience that you see in movies and on television. Social standards were tough. You were in or you were out. For most of my freshman year up until the spring, I was out. I didn't play any sports; I took AP classes with 10 kids in a class, and lived a very excluded and lonely life.

Later that spring, a trend went around school -- a new form of social media: Vine. Everyone was downloading it and making six-second clips in school, usually making fun of a teacher or doing something reckless. I saw an opportunity. Over time, I began to experiment and make my own videos. At first, they were just inside jokes with the little friends I had, but after a while, more of my classmates started to take notice of them. I finally felt accepted. It got to a point where I conformed and did what everyone else wanted on Vine. This is where the mistakes were made.

I had almost 1,200 followers on Vine and I posted six-second video on HIV/AIDS, using a very offensive term ("fag"). The next day, I went to school and I received so many responses as to how funny the video was. At this point, what I thought I had done wasn't just okay, but I thought it was funny. As a kid that just turned 15 from a private school, I was very sheltered from the real world. I didn't know the meaning behind what I was saying when I made the video. I didn't know the people I was hurting.

As time went on, my audience began to grow. About a month later after posting the video (and many more), I had almost 2,500 followers. At that time I began to get some significant feedback from people that weren't just in my high school. I looked through my videos and saw hundreds of negative comments on the one I had posted bashing on HIV/AIDS and the gay community. At first, I didn't really understand how someone could have so much hate for me, but then I put myself in their shoes. I read more and more comments and even did research. I had a realization that I hadn't had in my life up until that point: Everything I had said on or off camera could've been harmful to others.

I immediately deleted the video and changed my outlook on everything I had ever said and/or posted. A few days later, I completely deactivated all of my social media channels, mainly because I knew I had done something very evil, and partially because I also thought social media was a waste of time.

Towards the end of summer 2013 when school ended, I decided to re-download all of my social media channels and make videos again. The next day I woke up and had 9,000 followers. I did the same thing the next day and woke up with 54,000 followers. Next thing I know, I was making appearances on Good Morning America, traveling the country and gaining millions of followers across all of my social media accounts. It had literally been in a year's span that my "rise to fame" had happened. Things didn't slow down. Next thing you know, I made a career out of it. I began signing contracts and sitting in business meetings, consulting managers and traveling the world. I had some of the fastest growing social media accounts in history, capturing the attention of 25 million total followers.

Being on the top of my game, I had a bull's-eye on my head. Someone had the video I posted a year and a half ago on their phone and decided to re-post it. The video went viral. People thought the video was new, when in reality, it wasn't. I made two public apologies, but I was extremely crushed at this point. I had already understood the issue and to this day, regret it more than anything I have ever done. I began getting death threats, was called "homophobic" and a "hate monger," when in reality, it was the farthest thing from true. One of my first big YouTube videos was with four of my good friends at the time -- most of them gay. Many of my early Vines and collaborations were with gay people. I never once had a problem with someone's sexuality or sexual preference. If there is one thing I stand for in life, it is do whatever makes you happy. I have and never will be against same-sex relationships or marriages. I can't stress to you enough how far off the title "homophobic" is from my actual personality. I realize that I made a mistake. At the time I didn't, but I have learned from it.

At the time, I was just a normal kid. I had 1,000 followers and I was the farthest thing from a role model and the person I consider myself to be today. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry to each and every person I have ever offended.

And don't think for a second this is just something to save my ass in the business world. This is me, no publicist, no one telling me what to do. I accept you, and you get the same respect from me whether you are black, white, gay straight, Asian, bisexual, Australian, tall, fat, WHATEVER it is. We are all people, and I look at the people of the world the same way, as my brothers and sisters. And someday, I want to make a positive impact on all of you.

Oprah Winfrey On National Protests: 'Y'all Are Not The First To Do It '

On Saturday, thousands of Americans participated in protests across the nation in an effort to call for justice against police brutality. In joining the movement, the cast of Ava DuVernay’s forthcoming motion picture, “Selma," also took action during the film’s New York City premiere by wearing shirts that that read “I Can’t Breathe."

In addition to the shirts, which were inspired by Eric Garner's last recorded words, the cast also opened up about the parallels between today’s protests and the film, which is based on the 1965 marches from Selma to Montgomery, led by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.

"We couldn't have predicted what would happen in terms of what's going on, race relations-wise,” actor David Oyelowo, who plays King in the film, admitted to the Associated Press. “We finished shooting in early July and by early August Michael Brown had been murdered and now we're in the middle of the Eric Garner situation. I just think it shows. ... We do not live in a post-racial America."

“Selma” producer-actress Oprah Winfrey also shared her thoughts on how the film can be viewed as a learning lesson.

“I think life is always there to teach, enlighten, and open you up to the greater possibilities of what can be done if you’re willing to be awake and see it. So what’s exciting to me is that people are awake,” Winfrey told theGrio.com. “And If it took Eric Garner and it took Michael Brown and other instances to do than, then that’s where we are in our evolvement as human beings.”

Winfrey also shared how the march, and movie, serve as a historical reminder of great activism and highlights the tenacity of those who led it.

“I really think that this film can teach people a lot, because what this film says is it’s been done. It was done. Y’all are not the first to do it … the first to have an idea … the first to want to protest … the first to be upset,” she continued.

“We didn’t even have the right as citizens to vote in this country, and because of that you had Martin Luther King as a leader joining with his band of brothers with disciplined, rigorous, peaceful protests, and they had a goal and intention in mind. You just can’t march and not know what you’re marching for.”

"Selma" is out in limited release on Christmas Day before a nationwide bow on Jan. 9. Check out more of Oprah’s red carpet interview here.

For the past two decades, Jennifer Aniston has belonged to the small, exclusive club of actresses we so endearingly refer to as "America's sweethearts."

But as Allure's January 2015 cover girl, she's finally rocking the boat a little. Aniston is taking a stand against the unfair amount of pressure people put on her -- and women in general -- to have children.

She's also posing topless with her longtime friend and hairstylist Chris McMillan, who is responsible for creating her iconic hairstyle "The Rachel" -- while he was high, no less. Wearing only jeans, Aniston and McMillan pose bare chest to bare chest for the very sexy photo, which was shot by Michael Thompson.

We may have to say goodbye to Joan Holloway next year, but Christina Hendricks isn't going far away from the television world. The Emmy-nominated actress is joining Cameron Crowe's Showtime pilot "Roadies," the network announced on Monday. The one-hour comedy will follow a touring rock band through the eyes of the titular crew members who make it all happen. Hendricks will play Shelli, the band’s production manager who is "married to her job," but tough and emotional.

"Roadies" will also star Luke Wilson as the recently sober tour manager and Imogen Poots as an electrical technician. Rafe Spall, Peter Cambor, and Keisha Castle-Hughes are also in the cast. Crowe will write and direct the pilot and the series will be executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk ("Lost").

'Frozen' Director Knows You're Tired Of 'Let It Go,' And She's 'Sorry'

Even the director of "Frozen" knows it has reached a tipping point. The Disney hit has completely dominated 2014, earning $1.27 billion worldwide and becoming the fifth-highest grossing film of all time, as well as the highest in its genre. And we all know the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go" has been parodied and covered beyond exhaustion. "Frozen" director Jennifer Lee recently told The Hollywood Reporter for their Women in Entertainment issue that she now apologies to parents for the song.

“A year ago, I’d meet people who, when they found out who I was, they’d say, ‘Oh, we love the songs! We sing them all the time," Lee told The Hollywood Reporter. Now, parents tell her that (unsurprisingly) they're still singing them. “I've gone from, 'Thank you,' to, 'Sorry!'" Lee said. If only she had another response to offer them as well ...

Camp Kardashian Takes The Hamptons

The whole Kardashian camp took the Hamptons Sunday night on "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons." Kim and Kris duked it out over a swanky New York City apartment, which *spoiler alert* neither of them wound up winning. Khloe picked up an old horseback riding hobby. And Kourtney and Scott (and presumably the E! producers) decided to raise the stakes on Khloe's new hobby by placing a bet on her commitment to the sport.

The opening moments of the episode were pure Kardashian gold. Kim suggested they get McDonald's for dinner, which was totally awesome and brought me back to one of my personal favorite photos.

A photo posted by Jackie O (@jackieoproblems) on

Yes, that happened once.

Also, Kim had a truly novel and revolutionary thought:
Kim: "I want to do a documentary on my life and show all of this."
Kris: "Oh what a great idea! Maybe call it 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians.'"

Zing! Kris: 1, Kim: 0. This scorecard continues to fluctuate throughout the episode because Kim and Kris cannot stop competing with each other! ~DrAmA~

And then there was this glorious conversation between Kim and Scott, which really spoke to the crux of the American economic system:
kim k hamptons
scott hamptons

Then Kourt and Kim have the brilliant idea to try to set Kris up with someone for a nice little summer romance. Scott suggests they put her on Craigslist (I so wish they would have done that), and Kourtney decides to set Kris up with their cute, young chef, Jordan (I think that was his name?).
kim chef

So Kim calls in the formerly accused "leaky asshole," Jonathan Cheban. He has a brillz plan to get Kris and Jordan alone together and though it was all so contrived and totally scripted, I actually laughed SO hard! And for a moment there I really thought Kris bedded the half-her-age chef. You got me, Kris. You really got me there. And locking Kris in the bedroom with a chef and a bottle of wine and then fleeing the scene in a speedboat -- so Kardashian, so Hamptons. Bravo to all.
kris j

Ugh and then there was the horseback riding plot line, which was complete horse feathers for a myriad of reasons. There was so much good, natural stuff going on in this episode, why do they have to bore us with these contrived storylines? This plot would have been better suited for an episode when Kourtney, Khloe and Scott are in the Hamptons alone and with nothing to do. Like last week's episode. That was a total snorefest. I want to see Kim making Hamptons selfie books with North for Kanye, but we only see the top of North's head in the frame because she's North West. I want to see Kris taking tasteful nudes in the pool, or maybe even in the bay (so Hamptons!). I want to see Kendall and her chic outfits, but not hear her speak. This whole horse-plot was scattered intermittently throughout the episode and it totally disrupted the flow. I am trying to keep up with the Kardashians here!

Also, the whole Khloe finding out she is a "bet" thing. What is this, "How To Lose A Kardashian In 10 Days"? Or "Khloe's All That"? Or "Enter Cheesy Rom-Com With A Bet Storyline Here"? It brought me back to this place:
shes all that

The episode ended with Kim throwing kupcakes at Kris after their real estate war. Again, I ROFLMAOed so hard!
kris hamptons

It was an A+ ending for an A+ episode!
And for those of you who want to chastise me for calling this an A+ episode, you obviously do not understand the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" grading curve. Each episode is graded by a complex algorithm which accounts for the number of times the viewer laughs out loud (usually courtesy of Khloe), coupled with the level of chicness of Kim's outfits and the number of minutes we get to see the kids, multiplied by how many times Kourtney smiles with teeth. Last night's episode had all of that and more so yes, it deserved an A+.

Also, was I dreaming or did we see a quick glimpse of Kylizzle at the end, sleeping on a sofa, being served breakfast in bed by momma Kris? She was there the whole episode? News to me.

All The Similarities Between 'The Lord Of The Rings' And 'The Hobbit'

"The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" trilogies are, of course, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved fantasy books. But the movies definitely feature special twists from Peter Jackson. The director, who is responsible for all six films in the franchise, added new characters, storylines and battle sequences to amp up the epic series -- and his mark can be spotted in multiple scenes from the last installment, "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies."

1. LEGOLAS.
legolas
Although elf Legolas (Orlando Bloom) was not in Tolkien's original novel, he is featured in Jackson's "Hobbit" films. He's also a key member of "the fellowship of the ring" and appears in all three "LOTR" movies.

2. Frodo Baggins, Galadriel, Gollum and Gandalf are in both trilogies, too.
frodo
Elijah Wood and Andy Serkis appear in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," Ian McKellen is a major player across both franchises and -- spoiler alert -- Cate Blanchett has an awesome scene as Galadriel in "The Battle of the Five Armies," too.

3. A creepy cave/mountain dweller.
smaug
"Hobbit" has dragon Smaug, "LOTR" has giant spider Shelob.

4. A love triangle.
killi
In "The Lord of the Rings," Eowyn (Miranda Otto) is in love with Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), who is in love with Arwen (Liv Tyler). In "The Hobbit," Legolas is in love with Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly), who falls for Kíli (Aidan Turner).

5. The sneaky right-hand man.
alfrid
In "Rings," no one trusts Gríma Wormtongue, the suspicious chief advisor to King Théoden of Rohan. Similarly in "The Hobbit," Alfrid, the slimy, mischievous counselor to the Master of Laketown, isn't very likable either.

6. The ruggedly handsome man-flesh.
strider
Aragorn is the ranger men, elves and dwarves will follow to the ends of the earth in "LOTR." In "The Battle of the Five Armies," Bard (Luke Evans) assumes a similar role.

7. Mithril.
mithril
The metal cloak Bilbo gives Frodo in "LOTR" is featured in "The Battle of the Five Armies."

8. The one character who gets possessed by power and wealth.
boromir
Boromir (Sean Bean) tries to take the "one ring to rule them all" from Frodo in "The Fellowship of the Ring" after becoming obsessed by its power. In the final installment of "The Hobbit," Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) comes down with a bad case of "dragon sickness," which causes him to see past rationale and crave only wealth.

9. Gandalf makes an epic "ride through" on horseback.

Like many scenes in "Rings," Gandalf makes a memorable entrance during the battle at the Lonely Mountain in "The Battle of the Five Armies."

10. An orc leader.

There are multiple orc leaders in the trilogies, including Lurtz and Gothmog in "Rings" and Azog in "Hobbit."

'Selma' Director Ava DuVernay Calls Racist Sony Emails 'Sad, Limited, Crass'

In a new interview with The Daily Beast, "Selma" director Ava DuVernay has called leaked emails between Sony co-chair Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin that mocked the film taste of President Barack Obama "sad, limited, crass."

DuVernay said she found out about the emails shortly after becoming the first black woman ever nominated for Best Director at the Golden Globes.

"I thought it was a great gift to me to be reminded of that kind of sad, limited, crass view of the work that people do in this industry who are not from the dominant culture," she said. "It was a gift to me to be reminded on that in that moment when there were a lot of shining lights on me and hoopla around the Globes. It was sobering, and it provided a moment of clarity that I’m thankful for as I move forward."

In the emails, Rudin and Pascal joked about the kinds of movies President Obama might enjoy. "I bet he likes Kevin Hart," Rudin wrote.

"I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive," Rudin said in a statement to Deadline.com. Pascal also apologized for the remarks.

This wasn't the first time DuVernay spoke out about the emails. In a short interview with Variety last Thursday, the director said she had two words to pass along as commentary: "sickening and sad." On Friday, during an interview with The Washington Post, DuVernay also called the emails a "gift." She explained:

Something about reading that on the day of these nominations, getting off the stage with John Lewis, the standing ovations, all these things that have been happening, to get back and say, Okay, this is what some folks really think. [...] [It] was empowering to me, got me really clear, got me really focused. So I’m grateful.

DuVernay is not the only person to slam Pascal and Rudin in the wake of their emails.

"What is most troubling about these statements is that they reflect a continued lack of diversity in positions of power in major Hollywood studios. The statements clearly show how comfortable major studio powers are with racial language and marginalization," Al Sharpton said in a statement.

"Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes also weighed in on the emails via her Twitter account:

Krysten Ritter's "Breaking Bad" character, Jane Margolis, appeared in only a handful of episodes, yet her tenure as Jesse Pinkman's addict girlfriend -- and Jane's shocking demise -- created a turning point in the series that forever changed Walter White. But had Jane been able to stick around a little longer, Ritter has some ideas of what she'd want to see for the character.

When the actress spoke with HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri on Monday about her new film, Tim Burton's "Big Eyes," she answered a fan's question about where else Jane's character could have gone.

"Maybe getting sober and staying sober," Ritter said. "It would have been nice to see a glimpse of happiness for them."

Ritter also said that she felt a connection to "Breaking Bad" long after she left the series early in its run:

I kept watching the show with everybody else on Sunday night as a fan, because I'm able to sort of take myself out of things ... It was always fun when they would mention my character, or I would get text messages like, "Oh, did you see 'Breaking Bad' today?" I felt included even though I wasn't on the show anymore.

Scarlett Johansson Says Her Body 'Isn't Particularly Remarkable'

Scarlett Johansson has had such a momentous year: she got married, gave birth to her first child and starred in blockbuster films. It's no surprise that Barbara Walters chose her as one of the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014. What is surprising, though, is what Johansson had to say about her physique.

"It's an okay body, I guess. I wouldn't say it's particularly remarkable, though," she told Walters when asked if she liked her body, adding, "I don't like my thighs, my midsection, but ... I'm not going to complain! I got thighs and a midsection, so I'm happy."

And despite being named Esquire Magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive in 2006 and again in 2013, Johansson told Walters that she doesn't really feel like a sex symbol.

"I never put on a sexy face, so I don't know what it means to act seductively," she said.

A few months before she turned 30 in November, she told The Weekend Australian that she's happy to be getting older and won't always be considered "an object of desire."

On aging, Johansson said: "I don't want to be the ingenue any more. That part I'm happy about. It's nice to be glamorous, but I don't want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire. I don't want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn't last."

Kylie Jenner and Tyga spread some holiday cheer when they headed to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles bearing a wagon full of gifts Monday.

Jenner joined Tyga for the LA Gear Presents Teen Impact Holiday Party. The two spent time with the patients, delivered presents and posed for photos. The 17-year-old wore a white crop top, gray skinny jeans and a long blue coat for the afternoon outing.

Rumors first spread that Jenner was dating the 25-year-old rapper back in October, shortly after his split from Kim Kardashian's friend, Blac Chyna. But he quashed the romance gossip in an interview with Vibe that month.

"I’ve known Kylie and the whole family for four years. I introduced Chyna to Kim about a year ago," he said, adding that he hangs out with the whole Kardashian clan. "But people wanna take the situation [with Kylie] to the next level."

My Conversation With Angelina Jolie

Tonight I'm joined by Academy Award-winning actress and director, Angelina Jolie. Her film, Unbroken which tells the real life story of Olympian Louis Zamperini's heroic struggle to stay alive during his captivity as a POW during World War Two, opens on Christmas Day.

In the clip below I ask Angelina, who has been honored for her work as a humanitarian, why she is drawn to depictions of the dehumanization of war. Both Unbroken and her first directorial effort, In the Land of Blood and Honey, deal with the human cost of war.
