Cameron Diaz Gets Candid About Mistakes In Past Relationships

Cameron Diaz may have a long list of ex-lovers, but that doesn't mean she's not learning from her past mistakes.

As cover star of Cosmopolitan's January 2015 issue, Diaz spoke about what she's gleaned from previous relationships:

Here’s the thing. You make the same mistake over and over again until you learn your lesson. We girls sometimes do the thing where we pick the same person over and over again -- they look and seem different, but deep down, they’re the same. And that’s on us.

Diaz's past flames include A-listers such as Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and Alex Rodriguez. The 42-year-old, who is romantically linked to Benji Madden, did not acknowledge rumors about her current relationship status, but she did share thoughts on what makes for a good partner:

“You have to find someone in the same place as you are. Timing is everything. If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn’t want, it’s never gonna work. You’re never going to get him to be in that place. No matter how old you are, finding the guy who’s in the same place as you are and wants to show up is the only way a relationship works, period," Diaz told Cosmopolitan.

Despite engagement rumors circulating about the "Sex Tape" actress and her new man, Diaz told Marie Claire in October that she doesn't feel pressure to get married.

"I'm not looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff. I'm living, not thinking what I should or shouldn't be doing with my life," she said.

‘I Saved My Friend From Bill Cosby'

Bill Cosby is facing allegations of assault and sexual misconduct by many women. Here, a man recalls rescuing a female friend from the comedian’s New York brownstone in 1984.

Tony Hogue banged furiously on the front door of Bill Cosby’s Upper East Side brownstone. Every so often he shouted out and kicked the door, calling the name of his friend, a 23-year-old woman who he believed was groggy, terrified and possibly trapped inside, too dazed and confused to extricate herself.

Lady Gaga Reveals She Was Raped At 19

Lady Gaga revealed that she was raped at 19 in a radio interview with "The Howard Stern Show" on Tuesday.

"I went through some horrific things that I'm able to laugh [at] now, because I've gone through a lot of mental and physical therapy and emotional therapy to heal over the years," Gaga said in the interview.

"My music's been wonderful for me. But, you know, I was a shell of my former self at one point. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19," she added. "I went to Catholic school and then all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, 'Oh, is this just the way adults are?'"

The topic was broached by Stern after Lady Gaga explained that she wrote the song "Swine" about sexual violence. “The song is about rape, the song is about demoralization, the song is about rage and fury and passion -- and I had a lot of pain that I wanted to release," she said.

Gaga told Stern that she had not previously addressed the assault because she did not want "to be defined by it."

"I'll be damned if somebody's gonna say that every creatively intelligent thing that I ever did is all boiled down to one dickhead [who] did that to me," she said. "I'm going to take responsibility for all my pain looking beautiful and all the things that I've made out of my strife. I did that."

As Gaga told Stern, she never confronted the man after the incident. "I don't know how I would react. It would terrify me. It would paralyze me," she said. "I saw him one time in a store and I was so paralyzed by fear. It wasn't until I was a little bit older that I went, 'Wow, that was really messed up.'"

'Suicide Squad' Cast Includes Will Smith, Tom Hardy & Jared Leto As The Joker

Warner Bros. confirmed that Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Jared Leto have joined the cast of "Suicide Squad," the DC Comics film that David Ayer will direct for the studio. According to Variety, Warner Bros. isn't done hiring just yet: The studio wants Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer or Oprah Winfrey to play Amanda Waller, a character who fills a role similar to Marvel's Nick Fury in the DC Comics universe.

Announced as part of Warner Bros.' massive DC Comics slate back in October, "Suicide Squad" focuses on a group of supervillains thrown together by the government to execute high-risk missions (hence the team moniker). Hardy will star as Rick Flagg (sometimes styled as Rick Flag), leader of the Suicide Squad. Smith will play Deadshot, an enemy of Batman and expert sniper. Courtney is Boomerang, an adversary for The Flash. Delevingne is Enchantress. Leto and Robbie will play, respectively, The Joker and Harley Quinn.

"We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under Ayer's amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero," Warner Bros. president of creative development and worldwide production Greg Silverman said in a statement to THR. "Suicide Squad" is out Aug. 5, 2016, five months after "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" arrives in theaters. As Deadline.com noted, Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in "Dawn of Justice," was not announced as part of "Suicide Squad." (Maybe he'll just make a surprise cameo.)

Alexander Wang's New Denim Ads Are More Offensive And Tired Than 'Provocative' (NSFW)

As creative director at Balenciaga and the most recent designer chosen to create a line for H&M, Alexander Wang has certainly won the respect of the fashion industry over the years. But his new denim ads, which feature not only a naked woman but one who appears to be touching herself and are meant to "provoke," read more like yet another cheap attempt at using the female body to sell a product than anything else.

wang 2

But regardless of how you feel about nudity in advertising, and even if you are not put off by the obvious attempt at shock value through nudity here, at least we can all agree on one thing: there is (sadly) nothing new or innovative about using naked women to push a product.

Calvin Klein most famously has used this tactic for years (Wang cites those images as his source of inspiration, according to Women's Wear Daily.) But at least in those ads, like this one featuring Lara Stone and Toni Garrn from 2012, the models actually have the jeans on in the photos. Crumpled up at the ankles is probably not the most effective place for a product to be in an ad focused on selling that particular product.

Wang, however, clearly doesn't see it that way. In fact, based on his explanation, it's not clear which way he sees it. “It’s not provocative just in terms of sexy, but provocative to provoke conversation," he told WWD, adding, “I’m not dictating what that message is exactly. The interesting part is to see how people interpret it, and what they have to say about it. Of course, there are going to be people who disagree with it.”

wang

But what exactly are we supposed to disagree with? That jeans should make us want to take off our clothes and touch ourselves? That we're never actually supposed to put them on at all? Perhaps Wang is simply implying that the latest trend in denim is wearing them at the shins. Based on these images alone, it's hard to tell.

Either way, nudity for the sake of nudity isn't necessary in an advertisement, nor does it send any type of message to the consumer other than the notion that the brand believes the best way to get people talking about its products is by selling a woman's body.

Your clothing is cool enough on the models, Wang, you don't need to take it off of them to make money.

Bill Cosby Breaks His Twitter Silence To Thank His Defenders

After weeks of silence amid multiple allegations of sexual assault, Bill Cosby is speaking out to thank his defenders via Twitter.

On Wednesday, the 77-year-old comedian thanked Whoopi Goldberg and singer Jill Scott for their support:

Last month, Goldberg came to Cosby's defense on an episode of "The View," stating she was skeptical of sexual assault claims made by Barbara Bowman, questioning why she didn't go to the police at the time.

“Perhaps the police might have believed it, or the hospital,” Goldberg said. “Don’t you do a kit when you say someone has raped you?”

She added, "I hope somebody gets to the bottom of this, but I’m going to reserve my judgment because I have a lot of questions, as I said. It’s crazy, but I have a lot of questions, because I know we all have friends who have gone through this."

On Monday, Scott came to Cosby's defense on Twitter:

Adding to the many accusations of sexual assault launched against Cosby, a California woman filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming Cosby molested her at the Playboy Mansion around 1974, when she was 15 years old.

DJ Earworm's annual mashup of the year's most popular songs is here for the holiday season and it'll soon get stuck in your head, just like the songs it's made from. "The United State of Pop (Do What You Wanna Do)," comprised of 25 tracks, debuted on Billboard.com. "The thing that has been most notable in the past two or three years is the decline of EDM," Earworm (aka Jordan Roseman) told the site. "This year, ‘Timber,’ which was popular in January, is the only popular dance track I’m dealing with. It’s definitely down-tempo, so you have to decide, how is this going to go? Cheryl Strayed, Laura Dern Discuss Supporting Reese Witherspoon Through Her 'Wild' Nude Scenes

Reese Witherspoon bares her soul and her body in her new film "Wild," and she did it with the help and guidance of author Cheryl Strayed.

Strayed and actress Laura Dern spoke with HuffPost Live on Tuesday about the journey of making "Wild," which is based on Strayed's memoir of the same name. Strayed discussed the conversations she had with Witherspoon about the film's toughest scenes with host Ricky Camilleri.

Witherspoon described to Harper's Bazaar U.K. the "panic" she felt about performing on-screen sex, and Strayed told HuffPost Live that her advice boiled down to one thing: "Be as honest as you can bear to be, and good things always come from that."

"[Reese] asked me about my grief, she asked me about my promiscuity, she asked me what I was thinking when I was walking along hiking. And of course, some of those scenes were harder than others to act out," Strayed said. "She was really brave and raw and both emotionally naked and physically naked in ways that she'd never quite been before, and I did have to say to her at one point, 'Look, I'm so sorry I was such a slut in the '90s.'"

Dern said that "Wild" director Jean-Marc Vallée made the nudity easier for Witherspoon because of the way he framed those scenes.

"Jean-Marc had every scene -- particularly, I felt, the sex scenes -- handled with such dignity and grace and loneliness that it's your emotion that we're left with, not the image," Dern said.

But that doesn't mean there isn't something to enjoy in the image, too. "I'm just happy we finally got to see Reese's boobs," Strayed added with a grin.

"Wild" hits theaters on Dec. 5.

'30 Rock' May Have Called Out Bill Cosby For Sexual Assault Back In 2009

$

Before the most recent wave of sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby began to turn the tide of public opinion against the actor, "30 Rock" was on it.

Crushable's Jenni Maier stumbled upon this little-known fact when she was watching the 2009 episode "The Bubble" from the show's third season. As a side plot of the episode, Tracy Jordan (played by Tracy Morgan) quits "TGS" (the fictional show on NBC that Jordan works on) and Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin) goes to great lengths to get him back. One of Donaghy's efforts includes hiring a Bill Cosby impersonator to convince Jordan to come back to the show.

You can watch the clip here on Tumblr.

bill cosby 30 rock

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and "Rick," the Cosby impersonator, sit down with Donaghy before calling Jordan in the episode.

Maier transcribed the dialogue between "Rick," the Cosby impersonator, and Jordan in the scene:
Jack Donaghy: I’ve arranged for one of Tracy’s childhood idols to reach out to him.

Tracy Jordan: Hello?

Jack Donaghy: Tracy, this is Jack, I have someone here who wants to speak with you.

Rick: Tracy, this is Bill Cosby…

Liz Lemon: [whispering] Really? This is your strategy?

Jack Donaghy: [whispering and smiling] I heard him do this at a party!

Rick: …I want you to come back to the TGS for the people who like the jokes and the things.

Tracy Jordan: Bill Cosby, you got a lotta nerve gettin’ on the phone wit’ me after what you did to my Aunt Paulette!

Rick: I think you’re confusing me with someone else.

Tracy Jordan: 1971. Cincinnati. She was a cocktail waitress with the droopy eye!

Rick: I’m the guy… with the pudding…

Tracy Jordan: Don’t try to tell me what to do! Heathcliffe Huxtable, wit’ yo’ light-ass kids! Jack! Why would you make me talk to this man?

As Maier noted, the scene didn't jump out as explicitly critical in 2009, writing on Crushable that she "just assumed the joke was that Tracy was crazy" -- a common theme throughout the series. Now, in light of the multiple rape and sexual assault allegations against Cosby, the scene seems "much more than a throwaway joke," Maier wrote. "While there’s always the possibility that it’s a crazy coincidence, that seems incredibly unlikely."

Jezebel's Rebecca Rose also pointed out that the sole writer credited for the episode in question was Tina Fey, the creator of "30 Rock." Though, as Maier notes, comedian Hannibal Buress -- who called out Cosby in a stand up routine in October -- also used to be a writer for the show. She goes on to guess at the motivations behind the men and women in the "30 Rock" writers room choosing to write such a subtle (yet pointed) jab at Cosby:
What seems more likely than a coincidence is that the 30 Rock writers felt frustrated that this man continually got away with his alleged sexual assaults because he was a famous TV dad. So they found a way to call him out within their show without any repercussions from the media. Because you have to keep in mind that until Hannibal Buress (a former 30 Rock writer, but not for this particular episode) spoke out against Cosby in October, it wasn’t part of the mainstream conversation. And it definitely wasn’t an accusation that you could just toss around without receiving major backlash.

We see you, "30 Rock."

The Huffington Post reached out to NBC for comment, but had not received a response at the time of publication.

UPDATE: 12/3/14 4:20 p.m. -- NBC told The Huffington Post they will not comment on the story at this time.

Why Burt Reynolds' Ex-Wife Loni Anderson Is Getting Rid Of Everything He Gave Her

$

More than two decades after her divorce from Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson is finally getting around to one of the peskiest parts of a breakup: unloading all the stuff her ex gave her while they were together.

In a recent interview with "Entertainment Tonight," the 69-year-old actress explained why she she's auctioning off all the gifts she received from Reynolds during their five-year marriage.

"About a year ago we were having dinner with our son," Anderson said. "Jon Voight was at the dinner with us, and we were all talking about all the stuff that you accumulate over the years. We'd been thinking about scaling back: 'What are we gonna do with all this stuff? Do you have a museum for yourself? No.' And so what are you gonna do with it? Share it."

The auction, which takes place in Beverly Hills this Friday and Saturday, includes diamonds, furs and paintings given as gifts from Reynolds. The "WKRP in Cincinnati" actress is also auctioning off the wedding gown she wore when she married the actor in 1988.

Anderson isn't the only one doing a little housekeeping. Reynolds is also unloading more than 600 personal items -- including his 1998 Golden Globe for his role in "Boogie Nights" -- in an auction of his own at The Palms in Las Vegas on Dec. 11 and 12.

The 78-year-old actor told ET earlier this week the sale has nothing to do with his reported financial troubles

"I want everyone to know that contrary to what all the news outlets are saying, I am not broke," the former box office star said. "I have been dealing with a business dispute for many years as well as a divorce settlement. I am simply selling some of my memorabilia that I have enjoyed for so many years but do not have use nor room for them anymore."

The former couple made headlines earlier this year after Anderson claimed Reynolds still owed her $155,000 from their divorce settlement. In spite of that -- and their notoriously bitter 1993 divorce -- the former pair seem to be on good terms today.

"You just need a break after [a split]," Anderson said. "If it's a messy divorce, then you need a break and you go back and you go, 'Well there wasn't 12 terrible years. There was just that end.' So you go back and start thinking, 'Oh, I remember that! Oh, we laughed so hard! Oh, that was so fun!'"

Teresa Giudice Sues Bankruptcy Lawyer For $5 Million

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is suing her former bankruptcy attorney for $5 million.

Giudice filed a lawsuit against James Kridel on Wednesday, TMZ first reported Monday. Kridel, an attorney based in Clifton, New Jersey, represented the reality star during her 2009 bankruptcy filling.

In documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Giudice claims Kridel mishandled the bankruptcy filing, prepared faulty amendments and failed to prepare her for a meeting before the federal Bankruptcy Court trustee and creditors to whom she and husband Joe Giudice owed millions, according to the New York Daily News.

Joe and Teresa Giudice filed for bankruptcy in 2009, claiming $11 million in debt. They dropped their petitions in 2011, but that bankruptcy filing ultimately led to federal fraud charges against them, E! News previously noted.

In the 39-count indictment, the Giudices were accused of hiding assets during a Chapter 7 petition. The couple allegedly failed to disclose information about their businesses, rental properties and Teresa's "Real Housewives" salary.

Teresa, ultimately sentenced to 15 months, is expected to report to a federal prison camp in Danbury, Connecticut, on Jan. 5; Joe was sentenced to 41 months and will serve time after Teresa is released.

After the October sentencing, Kridel spoke with People magazine about his former client.

"I did not believe that Teresa was all that knowledgeable about any of the finances of her family until ultimately she became the breadwinner," he told People. "Everyone seems to blame her that she knew or should have known. I don't find that to be true in real life, though, People come in and sign tax returns quite often, and the spouse who is not in charge of the finances has no information. They just do what the accountant tells them."

A rep for the Giudices was not immediately available for further comment.

Thomas Sadoski Concedes That Some Of 'The Newsroom' Criticism 'Was Justifiable'

With only two episodes of the entire series left to air, "The Newsroom" will soon be coming to an -- arguably abrupt -- end. The show's three seasons were critically panned -- perhaps due to unrealistic expectations for Aaron Sorkin, the show's writer, as Jeff Daniels suggested. But any work is apt to be ill-received by someone somewhere, insists "Newroom" actor Thomas Sadoski, which is why there's little choice but to shrug the critics off.

"Sad to say it [to] the critics, but no, you don't have any impact. You can't," the actor, who plays Don, told HuffPost Live in an interview Wednesday. He explained further:

So this guy in Baltimore loves the show but this guy in Cleveland hates it, so I'm gonna change what I'm doing to appease the guy in Cleveland and then piss off the guy in Baltimore? We just have to do what we do and people have their opinions about it, and that's just it.

Which isn't to say that the "Wild" star didn't appreciate or agree with some of the critiques of the show.

"You want to challenge people. You want to have discussions started around the work that you're doing. As an artist, that's all you want," he said, celebrating the series' ability to consistently attract media attention.

"People have different opinions about the show," he continued, "and I respect all of them, frankly. I really appreciate when people are big fans of the show. That's nice ... [but] there's been a lot of criticism of the show. Some of it is earned. Some of it is justifiable and justified -- I don't shy away from that."

11 Ridiculously Inspiring Life Lessons From The L'Oréal 2014 Women Of Worth

"When a woman feels empowered, she will never feel like a victim to anyone or anything."

President of L'Oréal Paris Karen T. Fondu opened the 2014 L'Oreal Women Of Worth event perfectly with one powerful statement. Now in its ninth year, Women Of Worth recognizes 10 remarkable women for whom the term "worthy" feels wildly insufficient. The 2014 honorees, and their stories of perseverance and survival, are no exception.

This year's honorees were celebrated at the annual gala in New York City on Dec. 2 by friends, family and some very famous admirers. These women of exceptional worth were introduced by L'Oréal ambassadors Eva Longoria, Blake Lively, Diane Keaton, Julianne Moore, Andie MacDowell and Aimee Mullins as well as MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski, "The Today Show's" Hoda Kotb and 2013 national honoree Lauren Book.

A common theme among their remarks was choice: choices as rights, choices as privileges, and choices as acts of courage.

"Every single one of us has a choice. A choice not to let our past define our future... The choice is truly ours alone to make," said Book.

"I'm a firm believer that the only limitations we have in life are the ones we put on ourselves," declared honoree Stephanie Decker, who chose not to allow the loss of her legs to hold her back.

"A heroine is a woman who risks going too far in order to find out how far one can go for a cause greater than herself," said Diane Keaton, reminding us that the only thing we must to do become a heroine is decide to be one.

The powerful impact of each woman's story told last night is easily matched by the actions they have inspired. We couldn't possibly capture the true depth of their wisdom in a few quotes, but they are too inspiring not to try.

Here are 11 pieces of wisdom from last night's honorees and presenters:

women of worth
The 10 Women of Worth nominees with L'Oreal's president Karen Fondu and senior vice president Malena Higuera.

1. We are surrounded by heroines every day.
"What makes a heroine? I think I can answer that. A heroine is a woman who risks going too far in order to find out how far one can go for a cause greater than herself." - Diane Keaton introducing honoree Audra Wilford, whose MaxLove Project provides support to children facing life-threatening illness and their families. As a mother of a 7-year-old son who survived a battle with brain cancer, Wilford is acutely away of just how important this support is.

2. The doubts of others shouldn't stop you from pursuing your dreams.
"Our generation has faced incredible scrutiny. But I do believe it's this generation that's going to change the world." -- Blake Lively, introducing honoree Brittany Wenger. At only 19 years old, Wenger has developed cloud technology that could revolutionize breast cancer detection, using artificial intelligence to read cancer cells.

3. Anger is best channelled as motivation.
"When I learned we live in a world where women are sold for sex, my heart was so broken. Then I got pissed off." - Jenny Williamson. Williamson turned her shock into rage, and her rage into action, after learning that sex trafficking hit shockingly close to her California home. Her organization Courage Worldwide builds homes and offers support and education for children rescued from the sex trade.

4. There is more to winning than receiving an award.
"I have already won because I have a group of girls who call me mom who have never had a family." - Jenny Williamson

5. We all need a few pick-me-ups, no matter how small they are.
"These are somebody's children, somebody's daughters and somebody's mothers. Somebody needs to be there to tell them: You're adorable, you're gorgeous, you're precious. And if that has to be me, OK." - Shaaron Funderburk, who survived drug addiction, homelessness and prostitution to found her Off The Streets program, which provides safe spaces for women battling to overcome similar circumstances.

6. It's all about your mindset.
"Storms are inevitable. Beating them is optional." - Stephanie Decker, who shielded her two children from debris when a tornado tore through her Indiana home in 2012. The 2014 honoree lost the use of her legs in the storm, but through her Stephanie Decker Foundation, which works to help children with prosthetics thrive, it is impossible to measure how much has been gained by her powerful story of survival.

7. The power of women can never be overestimated.
"I truly believe, when you kill a man, you kill a man. When you kill a woman, you kill a nation. We replenish. We rebuild. Everything you are looking at right now came from a woman. I don't care if a man made it. He had a mother." - Shaaron Funderburk

8. Difficult experiences will reveal your strength. Find it, and use it.
"A woman is like a teabag -- you can't tell how strong she is until she's in hot water. Women of the world, it's tea time." - Phyllis Sudman, who earned the top Women of Worth recognition this year. In 2004, Sudman experienced every parent's worst nightmare when her son Simon died of sudden cardiac arrest at just 13 weeks old. Sudman co-founded Simon's Fund to raise awareness for sudden cardiac arrest and the warning signs, and her efforts will help prevent other parents from experiencing this devastating tragedy.

9. We are not built to avoid tragedy. We are designed to endure it.
"We are all built to face adversity. It's in our DNA." - Diane Keaton

10. There will always be things out of our control. How we let it affect us is not one of them.
"Every single one of us has a choice. A choice not to let our past define our future. A choice to live the life we want to live... The choice is truly ours alone to make." - Lauren Book, who earned Women of Worth's top honor in 2013 for her efforts to prevent childhood sexual abuse. Her organization Lauren's Kids educates adults and children about sexual abuse and provides guidance and support to help survivors heal.

11. One exceptional woman ensures generations more.
"It's what makes it all worthwhile -- to learn from your mother and hopefully teach your daughter, and then teach the world." - Deborah Snyder, honoree and founder of the Operation Renewed Hope Foundation. The retired Lieutenant Colonel served 20 years in the military as a helicoptor pilot, but her service to our country goes on. Through her efforts providing support and education to veterans and their families, Snyder is inspiring the nation to put an end to veteran homelessness.

Gloria Allred Suggests Bill Cosby Waive Statute Of Limitations As Two More Women Step Forward

In a Wednesday Dec. 3 press conference, feminist attorney Gloria Allred addressed Bill Cosby with three of his accusers by her side. Allred threw down the gauntlet, asking Cosby to either waive the statute of limitations on allegations that more than 20 women have brought against him, or set up a $100 million account for his accusers and let a panel of retired judges review the claims.

The three women who joined Allred were Beth Ferrier, who was first publicly identified in 2005 as Jane Doe #5 in Andrea Constand's suit against Cosby, and Helen Hayes and Chelan (who is currently being identified by her first name only), who previously had not made their allegations about Cosby public.

The LA Times reported that Hayes is claiming that Cosby groped her breasts in 1973 while they were at a restaurant. Chelan, who was crying and visibly shaken during much of the press conference, said that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1986 when she was just 17, the same location where Florida nurse Therese Serignese claims she was raped by Cosby 10 years prior. According to the LA Times, Chelan told press that Cosby gave her a blue pill to "help with a cold." After she took it:
The woman said she found that she couldn't move or say anything and that he began sexually assaulting her before she blacked out. She said she awoke hours later to hear Cosby clapping his hands and saying, "Daddy says wake up." He gave her $1,500 to buy something nice for her and her grandmother, she told reporters at the news conference.

gloria allred
Attorney Gloria Allred (2nd from L) speaks during a press conference with alleged victims of Bill Cosby; Chelan, Beth Ferrier and Helen Hayes.

Allred said that her two proposed solutions were a way for Cosby's accusers and, should his name be cleared, Cosby himself, to get justice. She also said that she had "lost count" of the number of women who had contacted her with claims against the 77-year-old comedian.

When asked what advice she would give Cosby if she were his attorney, Allred was very clear: "Under no circumstances would I ever give advice to Bill Cosby... nor would he ever be my client, even if he wanted to be," she said.

Cosby has stayed fairly tight-lipped about the allegations, telling a Florida Today reporter on Nov. 22, "I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos ... People should fact check. People shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos."

His attorney, Martin D. Singer, gave a statement to The Huffington Post on Nov. 21, calling the recent slew of allegations "unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity." His statement also targeted news outlets, calling the coverage of these claims "an unprecedented example of the media’s breakneck rush to run stories without any corroboration or adherence to traditional journalistic standards."

HuffPost reached out to the Cosby camp about these new allegations and Allred's suggested next steps, but had yet to hear back at time of publication.

"We challenge Mr. Cosby to end this nightmare," Allred said as she wrapped up the press conference. "The ball is in his court."

Bill Cosby Stripped Of Honorary Title Given By Navy

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Navy is revoking Bill Cosby's title of honorary chief petty officer, saying allegations of sexual abuse made against the comedian are serious and conflict with the Navy's core values.

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus and Master Chief Petty Officer Michael Stevens made the announcement Thursday in a statement.

Cosby enlisted in the Navy in 1956 and served four years as a hospital corpsman before being honorably discharged in 1960 as a 3rd Class Petty Officer. The honorary title was presented to Cosby in 2011.

The 77-year-old Cosby has refused to answer questions about mounting accusations that he sexually abused several women.

NBC recently scrapped a Cosby comedy that was under development, some of his appearances have been canceled and he has resigned from Temple University's board of trustees.
