Teresa Giudice: Meet The Real Me

If you think you know "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, think again. After surviving another week on "Celebrity Apprentice," despite fighting with pop singer Debbie Gibson, Teresa is happy that we are all getting to see a different and more accurate side of who she really is.

"Everyone will see me in a different light as a businesswoman and, of course, it's for charity," Teresa told me on the set of "New York Live."

On "Celebrity Apprentice," Teresa is fighting to find a cure for focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a rare kidney disease that she was introduced to after meeting Matthew Levine, a young boy who she says has a cholesterol level of 365 and takes 15 pills a day.

"The show has a lot of surprises," Teresa tells me. "The girls are very catty, but this was different from 'Housewives.' We were asked to do tasks and we are all there to raise a lot of money for our charities. You will see a different side of me, I'm very focused. There's definitely clashing -- there are a lot of Italians on the show."

And Teresa isn't holding back -- she says she had no concerns about doing another reality show after so much of her personal life was revealed by Bravo.

"It's totally different," Teresa explains. "We are working 20 hours a day. Getting up at 4:30 a.m. and sometimes working until 2:00 in the morning, but overall I have to say it was an amazing experience and if I had to do it all over again I would. I now feel like I can conquer anything."

Hollywood Still Donating To Obama, With A Twist

Looks like Barack Obama's star power hasn't dimmed after all.

In 2008, Hollywood insiders donated $9.2 million to the presidential hopeful's campaign. This year, despite much talk of softening support among entertainment professionals, they are expected to contribute even more.

According to Michael Janofksy of TheWrap, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Alec Baldwin and many other major figures have already maxed out their $5,000 personal contribution limits.

The trouble, for Obama, is that many in Hollywood do not want to dirty their hands with contributions to Super PACs, the controversial new groups that can accept unlimited donations as long as they don't direct their funds to a single candidate. Many Democrats have criticized Super PACs for giving wealthy donors outsize influence over the political process -- and if there's one thing Hollywood heavyweights understand, it's the power of bad publicity.

Jeffrey Katzenberg and Stephen Bing have waded into the Super PAC waters, but other big names are opting instead to bundle donations to the Obama campaign itself. The Wrap cites statistics gathered by the Center for Responsive Politics (often referred to as Open Secrets), which values producer Harvey Weinstein's bundle at $688,026 and agent Ari Emanuel's at $447,290.

Over the past year, reports of declining overall donations to Democrats (a $2.5 million decrease year over year at the end of 2011) and sharp criticism of the President from the likes of Matt Damon have created the impression that Obama was losing his hold on Hollywood.

The Obama campaign responded by sending a former ambassador to Los Angeles to set up a series of high-profile fundraisers.

TheWrap notes that Obama's latest fundraising trip was meant to raise $3 million and ended up bringing in $4 million. The dinners, hosted at the home of soap opera producer Bradley Bell, featured celebrity hosts, including Will Ferrell and his wife, Viveca Paulin. Tickets were priced at $35,800 each.

Head over to TheWrap for more in-depth analysis of Obama's relationship with Hollywood.

Want To Be Part Of Ochocinco's Wedding?

NEW YORK — Cable TV is getting ready to chronicle another sports-related celebrity wedding, this time involving NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and "Basketball Wife" star Evelyn Lozada.

VH1 said Monday that its eight-part series "Ev and Ocho" will air starting in September, culminating in a two-episode finale with their wedding.

It should sound familiar: The E! Entertainment network scored its best ratings ever last fall by showing Kim Kardashian's wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries. The marriage lasted 72 days.

Lozada has been featured in four seasons of "Basketball Wives," beginning with the end of her engagement to basketball player Antoine Walker, before she moved on to Ochocinco.

Donna Jean Freberg: The Heart Has It's Reasons

This life is a funny thing. Complex, full of twists and turns and disappointments, love and betrayal, all the stuff of the stories told that move us and shape us. Of all the things that come our way, a brutal betrayal is perhaps one of the things that is hardest to see in black and white. Oh, it looks pretty easy to navigate from an outside perspective (dump them, they're trash) but when it is your heart, your love we are talking about, well, answers seldom come easy and love quite often does not lie down in the bed made for it.

When I first heard that it was rumored to be a distinct possibility that Maria Shriver was considering getting back together with her estranged husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, just the possibility reminded me of how complex our whole dynamic as human beings can be. And this global village of ours is a tough room. We are such a micro-managing, judgmental society these days. We put our hands on our hips and move our fingers back and forth declaring with measured assurance what is unforgivable, who should, and should not, be forgiven. And from a distance it would seem like a no brainer, it's no secret we can do bad, selfish, beyond hurtful things to each other -- anyone would be crazy to walk back into a life with someone like that, right? And yet. There is that tricky, wily, unpredictable thing called love.

When you really and truly love somebody and are faced with making the best decision possible, the things one has to weigh up and ponder -- deep in those very hearts than hold that love -- are multi-layered and very complicated. It can include influences in our life like our religious beliefs, our children, the life we had or were building toward, health issues, our belief in each other and our capacity to change, and so much more. I think decisions like this can, and should, include what kind of character we have chosen for ourselves. Nearly every morning for a very long time I have said these words out loud to myself,

"Watch your thoughts, for they become your words
Choose your words, for they become your actions
Understand your actions for they become habits
Study your habits, for they become your character
Develop your character, for it will become your destiny."

I couldn't help but think, as I was typing those words, that I'm sure those of us that have been on the other side of a hideous betrayal, had wished our partners or friends had taken those words to heart and chosen a different character. For that matter there are times in my life, I wish I had. But the point is that 'character' that is worth its salt has wisdom, clarity, depth and almost always a huge capacity for forgiveness. This kind of character and the courage it takes to make wise decisions, that we, ourselves, have to live with, is what I thought about when I heard the blurb about Maria and Arnold. True or not, just the thought of it brought up in me a flash of admiration. Whatever she chooses to do, it reminded me that throwing away a marriage, a life together, shouldn't be so easy. Giving up and deciding what is more or less unforgivable should include a good hard look at the words... 'forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us' whatever your religion. Things like compassion, kindness and forgiveness, to me, transcend our disparate beliefs and make the dangers of fundamentalism less likely.

I've heard the words 'new human species' being bandied about in terms of our, hopefully, more enlightened, evolved selves coming more to the forefront and making a difference on this earth. To me, it starts with each of us and the character we choose and develop. It starts with our capacity to see the 'bigger picture' and as Nelson Mandela says, "to play for the long run." Maybe Maria Shriver is thinking about her life in terms of the 'long run'... I know when Hilary Clinton chose her love for her man over her beyond wounded pride, chose the hard road of forgiveness over being right but alone, chose the work it would take over the sometimes easier choice of walking away, chose her love over the opinions of others, I smiled to myself as I pictured the possibility of them loving each other into old age, playing in the garden with their grandchild, and facing, together, the hard things that inevitably come our way as human beings that include hospitals and loss and more tough decisions.

I am not naive enough to think that walking away from a truly horrendous, horrible person is not the doggone best, healthiest decision there is to make. Surely it is. I'm just saying that when it comes to our love for each other, our devotion, our reasoning in those areas we hold most dear, only we ourselves know the nuances and complexities involved that no one else will ever know, and maybe sometimes it is less black and white and more like that famous Blaise Pascal quote, "The heart has reasons which reason knows nothing of."

Morgan Spurlock's 'Day In The Life' With Joel McHale, Mario Batali And More

After teaming up with Hulu last year, documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock -- perhaps best known for 2004's "Super Size Me" -- is back with 10 all-new episodes of "A Day in the Life" (available beginning Mon., Mar. 12).

The new season will once again brings viewers behind the scenes to spend one day in the life of some of the world’s most fascinating people, including "Community" actor Joel McHale, comedian Marc Maron, famed chef Mario Batali, and UFC fighter Jason “Mayhem" Miller.

HuffPost TV chatted with the busy documentarian about the new season, Joel McHale's speeding habits and how a day in the life of Morgan Spurlock would be more mind-bending than "Inception."

After casting Season 1, how did you want to make the casting of Season 2 different?

We were really fortunate in Season 1 to have such an eclectic group of people, so we really wanted to go even further with that in Season 2. We have a couple of comics coming in Season 2. We're kicking off the new season with Marc Maron, who I think is one of the funniest and smartest people on the planet. One of the people that I'm really excited to have on the show is Tim Ferriss, who is one of the most brilliant self-help gurus in the world. He changes the way we look at our lives and how we work. It's having people like that -- who look at the world from a very different point-of-view -- is what makes the show so special.

Tell me a little bit about Joel McHale's upcoming episode. I'm a big "Community" fan.

Me too! What I love about Joel is watching him get inside his car and take off, leaving our crew in the dust in literally seconds as he zips around town. I hope people see how quickly Joel tries to get places in his career. He's all about punctuality and time as he speeds through Hollywood.

Are you on the series at all?

I'm not on one frame of this entire show. I'm never seen. I'm never heard. It's great. Well, that's not completely true. I do a voiceover at the beginning of every episode. So you do hear me, but you don't see me. It's great. Not being on camera is a fantastic thing. I highly recommend it. For me, it gives a very different energy to the show. I love focusing on the people who are shaping and changing the world in very different ways than one another. I want the focus to be on them, not me. What is the method to the madness that makes them who they are?

Do you have a highlight for Season 2?

There are so many things to love this season. I think seeing Mario Batali zip around town on a scooter in his name brand Crocs is kind of a special thing. These are special moments that we were able to capture in the show.

What's the relationship like between you and Hulu?

I've had an amazing relationship with them long before I did Season 1 of "A Day in the Life." We launched "Super Size Me" on Hulu not long after the service came to be. The film did really well on Hulu, and then we worked together with "30 Days" and "Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden?" I've just had a great relationship with the Hulu audience.

We're seeing a lot of grassroots campaigns pop up in network TV. There are showrunners like "Cougar Town's" Bill Lawrence who are going around the networks to get buzz for their show. What was you tactic?

For me, there's always a lot of begging. It's me going into Jason Kilar's -- the CEO of Hulu -- office saying, "Please can we do another season? Please, can we make this one more time?" And he goes, "Oh, all right." But for us, we've gotten a great response from the Hulu audience. The reason that it's been brought back is because the viewers love it. They've written in, and they post in the comments. We've been really fortunate to have a loyal audience.

Who is the one person you would love to follow around for a day?

The dream is always to get "A Day in the Life" with President Obama. It would be incredible to follow him from dawn 'til dusk. That, for me, may not happen in Season 2, but we're going to keep our fingers crossed for Season 3.

What would a day in the life of Morgan Spurlock look like?

Oh, it would be very, very sad. Nobody wants to see that. That's why I'm not on this program. It would be the most boring day ever. It would just be me making a documentary. Actually, it would almost be like "Inception" because you would be watching me make the show while you're watching the show.

And 'The Bachelor' Winner Is ...

Considering Courtney Robertson has been the only person making "The Bachelor" worth watching in Season 16, it's only fitting that she took home the title of winner of this season after Ben Flajnik proposed, and she accepted.

And after weeks of boring dates and Ben's hair flipping, the 29-year-old California winemaker chose Courtney over Lindzi Cox, the southern belle who was the other contestant in "The Bachelor's" final two.

In the two-hour finale (which aired Mon., March 12 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC), Ben took Courtney on a helicopter ride above The Matterhorn in Switzerland, which he called one of the "top 10 coolest things I've ever done in my life." In a picturesque wintry scene, they made snow angels and went tobogganing before Ben confessed: "With Courtney, I'm completely and utterly myself. I'm so happy to be around her. She makes me feel like a kid ... I've always wanted to feel this comfortable around a woman."

In the climactic final minutes, it appeared Ben might not propose when he hinted he didn't want to have his heart broken again. "But I promised myself that I wouldn't get down on one knee again unless I was certain it was forever,' he said. "And I want to tell you that you are my forever. You're my forever, and I have waited a really, really long time to tell you that I am in love with you, more than you'll ever know. And that this experience and journey has been worth it every step of the way."

When he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, she said, "Yes, of course I will. I love you so much ... I will love you forever."

Courtney, a model who shocked audiences and her fellow contestants alike with her penchant for nudity and incredibly high-pitched voice, won over Ben in the end, even though the other ladies of "The Bachelor" weren't fans of her inability to keep her clothes on or follow the rules.

But in December 2011, rumors started popping up that Courtney was the winner, with Ben proposing to her in the end.

And the two have already walked down the aisle ... kind of. On the Feb. 20 episode, Courtney and Ben had a mock wedding ceremony in her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. "This is the best way I can think of to show Ben how I feel about him," she said. "We're at this place where I've always wanted to get married and I've got a little wedding planned."

In his vows, Ben told Courtney: "From the moment I saw you, you took my breath away. What I asked myself after our first date was, 'Was this too good to be true?' The answer to that I found in Belize is 'No' -- you're incredible."

Later, despite the awkward date-turned-faux wedding, Ben said standing at the altar with Courtney "felt pretty natural."

She added: "We are not Mr. and Mrs. Flajnik yet, but it feels pretty good to try it on for size."

Apatow Favorites Invades SXSW: Jonah Hill, Lena Dunham Premiere New Work At Paramount Theater

Monday was a great day to be a Judd Apatow fan at South By Southwest -- especially if you happened to be near the Paramount Theater. In the afternoon, the Austin-based festival premiered "Girls," the new HBO series from wunderkind Lena Dunham, which Apatow produced with his "Undeclared" cohort, Jennifer Konner.

Following the debut of "Girls" -- three episodes screened to wild praise and applause -- the Paramount was home to the world premiere of "21 Jump Street," featuring Apatow regular Jonah Hill. (Apatow did not produce "21 Jump Street," though with its dick jokes and bromantic leanings, you'd be forgiven for thinking he did.)

Below, check out photos of the big Apatow-centric evening at SXSW; come back to Moviefone for more on both "Girls" and "21 Jump Street" this week.

'Secret Circle' Cast Tells All From Set

HuffPost TV recently ventured up into the foothills of Vancouver's Brittania Mountain to visit the cast of The CW's freshman series "The Secret Circle" on location.

The weather was chilly at the atmospheric old mine they were filming at for "Crystal," the April 19 episode, and the cast members filming that day -- Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Phoebe Tonkin, Chis Zylka and Jessica Parker Kennedy -- were eager to discuss their magical new series.

We'll have more from our exclusive visit in weeks to come, but since the show returns Thursday (March 15, 9 p.m. EST on The CW) after a month of repeats, we asked the stars to preview what we can expect in this week's episode, titled "Lucky."

In the episodes leading up to the break, we witnessed Cassie (Robertson) and Adam (Dekker) growing closer, and now the two star-crossed witches are an official couple, which, according to Dekker is "nice to play with" after so long giving each other furtive glances and shy smiles.

"In 'Lucky,' we're definitely together, but there are situations in the episode that are already challenging for us, [like]arguments about parental history, and it's interesting to already have a situation challenge us when we're such a new couple," Dekker said. "And in the following episode, you find out more about the 'written in the stars' destiny of our families and what that really means. I had a lot of fun shooting those episodes because Brittany and I got to get into the meat of those characters."

Robertson was equally enthusiastic about the new romance, especially as Cassie has been forced to deal with many of her recent worries on her own, since her grandmother left town to deal with her memory issues. "It’s a great place for Cassie, because she’s always had Diana as her friend and she’s always been able to talk to Diana, but now, she has someone on her side who’s there to protect her and be there for her, and they just have this great love for each other," she said. "It’s the first time you get to see Cassie exploring something very real and very familiar. The audience can see something tangible like a high school romance, and I think it’s really fun to explore that relationship and how new it is. They’re dealing with very mundane issues that everyone goes through -- it’s a very normal relationship. And then the supernatural aspects have their effect on their relationship as well."

Dekker also hinted that his closeness with Cassie might bring out sides of Adam that viewers haven't seen before. "Adam goes through big changes coming up, which has been very exciting," he teased. "He’s been kind of the rock of the show, very still and informative, and in the next couple episodes, his relationship with Cassie takes this really interesting shift for him, and you get to see the different colors that were maybe there before she got to town."

It's safe to assume that said "shift" is tied into the return of John Blackwell (Joe Lando), Cassie's long-lost father, who is set to make waves all over Chance Harbor. Though the circle is rightly suspicious about his intentions at the outset, Robertson admitted that Cassie is just "lurching out for someone to love her," and for now, at least, Blackwell fits that description. "He first came to town and there was a lot of hesitancy; we’ve heard so many horrible things about this man, but he seems to be perfectly harmless. So it’s like, ‘Great, not only do I have my father back, but he’s a good guy.' And he’s a protector, from what she's seen," the actress said. "He’s been very generous with his feelings for her and just trying to be there for all the years that he hasn’t been. I think that’s really encouraging her to try and build a relationship with him. I think you’ll see that relationship continue to blossom as long as he continues to be the way that he is."

Another character who seems desperate for someone to love him is Jake (Zylka), who has been dropped by Cassie and Faye (Tonkin) for other guys in recent weeks, and no longer has any family to fall back on. "Since Isaac has left and there’s not really that father figure that Jake seems to strive so hard to [find] to fill that empty space, Blackwell’s kind of taken that role on," Zylka said when asked about the ongoing alliance between the characters. "Whether or not he’s setting us up or doing good by us, Jake doesn’t care because he has that void filled for the time being."

Sadly, that goodwill won't extend to the rest of the circle's parents, who all have their own checkered history with Blackwell -- especially Adam's father, Ethan (Adam Harrington). "We sort of hinted in 'Witness' that Ethan possibly wasn’t so clean or honest as he has pretended to be," Dekker said. "What that really means, we find out in the next couple of episodes. The arrival of Blackwell, and especially Blackwell becoming so close with our circle, is the most information we’ve gotten from any of our parents, and it’s the closest we’ve gotten to really hearing the truth, and it starts to challenge everything that Adam has believed in his whole life."

In fact, Dekker shared, Blackwell's friction with Ethan becomes the main source of conflict between their children: "When Cassie, with her father, starts to unearth more truths, that’s kind of the challenge that it puts on our relationship of 'Who do we trust?' and it sort of becomes a bit of a competition of which parent is really the villain or the hero ... but I will not reveal which one Ethan is -- it's exciting!"

"Lucky" is also a pivotal episode for Dawn (Natasha Henstridge), Dekker said, as we see her "reveal her true colors and her true past with Blackwell" -- a theme that will carry through to episode 119.

One of the show's lingering questions is the identity of the other Blackwell child, and once the circle finds out about it, there's one obvious suspect who might have a little more investment in the outcome than the others. "Faye is attracted to dark magic, she’s attracted to solo magic, so the idea that there could be another circle member that could have dark magic like Cassie, she’s like, 'Right, I’m gonna find out how this could be me,’" Tonkin admitted. "But it may not necessarily be her."

Fans itching to discover who Cassie's secret sibling is (we're hoping it's not Adam, awk-ward) won't have to wait long, though -- at the time of our interview, Robertson already knew. "It’s weird, it kind of just happened all of a sudden; one day we’re talking about crystals and the next day we know who the child is. It’s like, 'Oh, alright, cool,'" she laughed. "When I was reading it, I was like, ‘What?! This came out of nowhere!' But it’s awesome and it’s great and the audience will find out very soon."

The other storyline in "Lucky" deals with Faye and her growing attraction to gorgeous voodoo practitioner Lee (Grey Damon), since he seems to be keeping a secret or two. "Faye was under the impression that Lee had this girlfriend, Eva, who overdosed on 'Devil’s Spirit,' but we find out that she isn’t dead, she’s just in a coma and that Lee is using Faye’s magic to bring her back," Tonkin said. "In these episodes, Faye is also starting to realize that not only is she trusting Lee to get her magic back, she’s also starting to like Lee in a little bit in a romantic way. Once Faye realizes that she’s starting to have feelings for Lee, around the same time, Eva wakes up, so suddenly there’s another woman, and I think Faye ... she’s not threatened by Eva, but she just doesn’t want her in the picture. "

Even though Tonkin admitted that Faye is drawn to "people who have a dark side," like Lee and Jake, she still has her best friend Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) to try and keep her on the straight and narrow. Parker Kennedy admitted that in the next couple of episodes, "Melissa’s very busy keeping Faye on track, which she always tries to do. Faye is very interested in getting her individual powers back, and she’s basically there to support Faye. Faye goes back to talk to Lee and runs into a girl who claims to be Lee’s girlfriend. Things get a little bit rough after that."

How rough? We'll have to tune in to find out.

"The Secret Circle" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

Who do you think the other Blackwell child is? Do you think the rift between their fathers will drive Cassie and Adam apart? Share your predictions below, and come back next week for more from our exclusive "Secret Circle" set visit.

On "My Crazy Obsession" (Wed., 10 p.m. ET on TLC) viewers met Bob and Lizzie, unassuming Brits who are just wild about sex dolls.

They love them so much, in fact, that they have amassed a whopping 240 of them, valued at $150,000, in their modest home.

Perhaps surprisingly, Bob and Lizzie don't engage in sexual acts with the dolls. Instead, they see them as friends and companions and do all the stuff with them that they'd do with regular friends.

They dress them up in special outfits, drive them to the country fair, give them music lessons and take photos of them, which Bob and Lizzie then post online.

On one recent jaunt, the couple took their favorite doll, Justine, out for a drive in the country dressed in her best outfit, "the naughty police girl."

Justine even got to ride in the front passenger seat while Lizzie sat in the back of the car.

Where better to take photos of the naughty police girl than on the steps of the local police station? Unfortunately the local police force took a rather dim view of Justine and told the trio to move on mid-shoot.

"My Crazy Obsession" continues on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

"New information about Rowling's estimated $160 million in charitable giving combined with Britain's high tax rates bumped the Harry Potter scribe from our list this year,” Forbes noted in its "Billionaire Dropoffs" list.

The celebrated scribe, who was once an unemployed single mom living on welfare, has been particularly involved with helping families facing similar struggles.

Rowling's called One Parent Families, a nonprofit that empowers single-parent households, one of her favorite causes, according to Looktothestars.org. The organization provides child-care services and helps parents discover new job and education opportunities. The writer also founded her own charity, Lumos, which helps institutionalized and disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe.

“You have a moral responsibility when you’ve been given far more than you need, to do wise things with it and give intelligently," Rowling said, according to Mother Nature Network.
