Selena Gomez debuted a new hairstyle this weekend.

The 22-year-old shared two photos of her new bangs via Instagram. On Saturday, Sept. 13, Gomez posted a filtered selfie. It's unclear if the look is permanent or thanks to some clip-ins, but the singer's fans are obviously liking it. The pic got more than 1.2 million likes.

On Sunday, Gomez uploaded another photo with a shoutout to supermodel Suki Waterhouse. "Tried my best @sukiwaterhouse," she wrote.

Although she might be rocking a new style, Gomez was hanging out with old flame Justin Bieber in Las Vegas this weekend. The two hit up a pool party at the Hard Rock and went to the Floyd Mayweather fight, according to TMZ.

U2's Bono Once Wrote A Poem For Billy Graham: 'The Journey From Father To Friend'

Billy Graham has had many high-profile friends over the years, and among them is U2 frontman and international rockstar Bono.

bono

Bono is open about his Christian faith, frequently speaking on the importance of God in his life and incorporating spiritually-theme lyrics into his songs. And based on a poem the singer wrote to Billy Graham back in 2002, it seems the American evangelical leader has played a important role in Bono's life.

The hand-written poem, which is on display at the Billy Graham Library in North Carolina, refers to "the voice of a preacher/loudly soft on my tears" which was the "lyric voice that gave my life/A Rhyme/a meaning that wasn’t there before."

Bono composed the poem in 2002 after visiting Billy and Ruth Graham at their home in western North Carolina. Several years later he teamed up with pop singer Pat Boone and other musicians to record "Thank You Billy Graham" as a tribute to the preacher.

"I give thanks just for the sanity of Billy Graham," Bono says in the tribute's intro. "That clear, empathetic voice of his, in that southern accent, part poet, part preacher. A singer of the human spirit, I'd say."

Sojourners writer Cathleen Falsani spoke with Bono in 2005 on his friendship with Billy Graham and the surprise phone call the musician received in 2002 from the preacher's office. Graham, as it turned out, wished to give Bono and his teammates a blessing.

“I told [my bandmates], I said, ‘This is a big deal. This is BILLY GRAHAM!’ And they all said, ‘That’s great. But we’re in the middle of a tour.’ So I rented a plane and flew there right away in case he might forget. I was picked up by his son, Franklin, and driven a couple of hours up to their house. I met briefly with himself and his wife, Ruth. I think I’ve mentioned to you before that the blessings of an older man mean a great deal to me. Particularly this man. I gave him a book of Seamus Heaney poetry, and I wrote a poem for him in it."

Kanye West Tells The Media To 'Pick Another Target' At Brisbane Show

$

Kanye West's impassioned speeches have become a legendary part of his Yeezus tour. His stop in Brisbane, Australia, was no exception.

According to those in attendance, the 37-year-old rapper reportedly unloaded on the media in a five-minute rant, during which he declared, "I'm a married, Christian man with a family, pick another target."

West was, of course, referring to criticism of his latest snafu in Sydney, when he demanded that a wheelchair-bound audience member rise to his feet to dance, before he continued performing his song. It was an incident, the rapper reportedly described as "bullshit blown out of proportion," during the rant in Brisbane on Sept. 15.

West did seem to learn from the Sydney debacle, however. According to the Australian newspaper the Courier Mail, he was more cautious in his demand for the crowd to rise to their feet this time around.

“Everybody who is not in a wheelchair or handicapped will stand up,” he told the Brisbane audience. “If you can not prove to me that you are in a wheelchair you need to be standing, if you can it is okay to sit down.”

Matt Damon Will Probably Play Jason Bourne Again After All

Matt Damon will return to play Jason Bourne after all. According to Deadline.com, Damon and "Bourne Ultimatum" director Paul Greengrass are set to reunite for another Bourne movie, the duo's third and the franchise's fifth overall. Universal would release this new Bourne film on July 16, 2016, a date the studio previously held for Justin Lin's "Bourne Legacy" sequel with Jeremy Renner in the non-Bourne starring role.

HuffPost Entertainment contacted representatives for Damon and Greengrass. This post will be updated if and when they respond.

That Damon and Greengrass would come together again for the popular franchise is not a total surprise. Since "The Bourne Ultimatum" was released in 2007, Damon has often talked about how much he enjoyed playing the character and how he would do it again if the story made sense.

"I've always been open to it if Paul Greengrass is the director," Damon said to CNBC in May of this year. "We've just never been able to come up with a story. So, if any of your viewers have a story, please call Universal and submit it."

Indeed, the plot for another Bourne film has been a roadblock for Damon for quite some time.

"If you really look at the mythology of the character, we would have to figure out some reason to get him going again," Damon said to HuffPost Entertainment in July of 2012. "Because he is a guy who walked away from everything, so we just have to solve that. And Paul and I haven't been able to do it. And we really wanted to make another one; we almost were making one a couple of years ago -- and then we just couldn't crack it. Because the second we said that we'd do it, they would announce a release date and then we would be making the movie. That happened to us on the last one. We did not have a script and we had a release date. And that was just harrowing."

Damon has discussed his displeasure with the script for "Bourne Ultimatum" in the past, telling GQ that the film "took years" off his life because Tony Gilroy's screenplay wasn't completed before the film's production began. Gilroy wrote and directed "The Bourne Legacy," which focused on Renner's Aaron Cross and included events that happened in "The Bourne Ultimatum," albeit told from a different vantage point. That, too, posed a potential problem for Damon, who said in a 2012 interview with Indiewire's The Playlist that "The Bourne Legacy" would make a new Jason Bourne movie "harder" to make.

"I don't think we can do the 'Dallas' it-was-all-a-dream scenario," Damon said in a separate 2012 interview with Movieline. "I don't think the audience would go for that after they paid money to see a movie."

And yet rumors about Damon's Bourne return have circulated for the better part of the last 13 months. In August of 2013, Twitch Film reported that Universal was discussing the franchise with Damon and Greengrass. That story was soon debunked by Universal, but a similar report sprang up again in July of this year. At that time, Latino Review noted that Damon and Greengrass would reconnect for the untitled film. It looks like all those intrepid reporters were onto something.

Kerry Washington Sheds Light On An Invisible Kind Of Domestic Abuse

$

Kerry Washington wants to keep the conversation about domestic violence going.

On Monday, the Emmy-nominated actress spoke out about an often-overlooked reason why women stay in abusive relationships: financial abuse.

"It's the reason why so many people stay," she said in an interview with The Huffington Post. "That whole hashtag #WhyIStayed that happened last week, you saw how many of those responses were about feeling trapped financially."

The "Scandal" star appeared at an event in New York as an ambassador for The Allstate Foundation, which runs an initiative called “Purple Purse” to raise awareness of domestic abuse. As the campaign's spokeswoman, Washington designed a limited-edition purple purse to draw attention to the role of money in abusive relationships.

Financial abuse is a tactic often used by abusers to control and isolate their partners. It takes many forms: Abusers may drastically limit their victims' access to cash so they have no money of their own if they want to flee. They may sabotage their victims' ability to work, or pile up debt under their victims' names. Experts cite financial abuse as one of the top reasons why many victims are unable to escape abusive relationships.

"I think people just aren't as aware of financial abuse," Washington told HuffPost. "If a woman isn't even aware of the dynamics of financial abuse -- what it looks like, what it is -- she may not even know that that's part of the tools being used to control her and manipulate her and keep her trapped. When there is more information around it, people can begin to identify it and then get the help they need."

Washington said she loved designing the bag and hoped it would spur more conversations about domestic violence. "A purse is a powerful symbol," she said. "It's where a woman's economic power lives."

On "Scandal," Washington plays Olivia Pope, a firebrand D.C. crisis handler with a team of "gladiators in suits."

One of those gladiators, Abby Whelan, is a domestic violence survivor whom Pope helped rescue from her abusive husband in a subplot on the show. Washington said fans often approach actress Darby Stanchfield and thank her for not shying away from such a tough issue.

"We've actually been told that this season is going to be a really strong season for Abby's character. I wonder if we'll get to see more of how that dynamic played between them as friends, as Olivia stepped in to help get her out of that relationship," she said. "I'm very curious to see how that plays out."

Washington also released a PSA on financial abuse.

"Finances are almost always a weapon of choice," she says in the video. "Taking away access to cash, destroying credit, jeopardizing jobs -- financial abuse leaves invisible bruises that can take decades to heal."

All proceeds from the initiative will go to domestic violence organizations nationwide to support their efforts helping survivors rebuild financial security.

How James Van Der Beek Tackles Work-Life Balance

James Van Der Beek was thrilled to become a dad, but having three kids meant he had to make some changes to his professional life, the actor told HuffPost Live on Monday.

During a conversation about his new role on the upcoming series "CSI: Cyber," a fan asked Van Der Beek about how he juggles his family with going away to shoot film and television projects.

"We take away the 'away' part," Van Der Beek said. "The last three jobs I've had, thank God, have been in town. And by 'in town,' I mean the town that I live in, Los Angeles."

The actor admitted that "you certainly take a lot of things off the table if they're not conducive to raising kids," but he's found ways to make business and family work together. For example, his children are part and parcel of his deal to work on the latest "CSI" spinoff.

"I had it in my contract that I get a dressing room for the kids so they can come visit, so there's a little space for them carved out on the lot," he said.

With three kids, Van Der Beek has had plenty time to learn the ins and outs of being a parent, and the experience hasn't been without its unanticipated moments.

"What surprised me is how fun it is -- even a newborn on a moment-to-moment basis. That really surprised me. I just thought, 'Okay, you have the kid, and then in five years, they get interesting.' But they're just fascinating. Their personalities are coming out right from the get-go," he said.

Rihanna Slams CBS For Yanking 'Thursday Night Football' Intro (UPDATE)

UPDATE: In a statement made to HuffPost Entertainment, CBS said they will not use Rihanna's song for "Thursday Night Football." "Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open," CBS Sports said. "We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast."

EARLIER: Last week, CBS pulled Rihanna's intro for "Thursday Night Football" amid Ray Rice's domestic abuse controversy. The original intro showed Rihanna singing Jay Z's "Run This Town," and featured Kanye West.

But in a tweet sent early Tuesday morning, Rihanna slammed the network, suggesting she did not want them to play the clip this week after axing it from the prior broadcast.

We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone and coverage,” CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus told SI.com at the time of the decision. “A lot of the production elements we wanted in the show are being eliminated because of time or tone.”

CBS had also nixed a comedy sketch featuring Don Cheadle. Instead, the hour-long pre-game show dedicated 25 minutes to Ray Rice's release and suspension after TMZ released a video of Rice hitting his now-wife, Janay Rice.

CBS has not returned HuffPost Entertainment's immediate request for comment.

"We could get hit by a bus tomorrow, and we’re going to have played it safe and conservative? Forget it," Barrymore told Into The Gloss of her cosmetic philosophy in 2013. "I want to try every hair color, I want to paint my face crazy colors for an M.I.A. concert, I want to work with CoverGirl and everything in-between. I don’t care what people think or say, I want to live. I want to have fun!"

Meredith Graves Calls Out Sexism, Gender Stereotypes In Moving Essay

$

Perfect Pussy singer Meredith Graves gave a powerful presentation at the Basilica Soundscape Festival in Hudson, New York, this weekend. Reading an essay about sexism, gender stereotypes in the music industry and the idea of authenticity on stage, Graves relayed what it's like to be a female musician.

The New York Times described her monologue as "a mixture of punk-band tour diary and rigorous cultural criticism," and the essay has been printed in full over at The Talkhouse. Here are some highlights:

On being forced to prove an authentic love of culture or music:
Women are called upon every day to prove our right to participate in music on the basis of our authenticity -- or perceived lack thereof. Our credentials are constantly being checked -- you say you like a band you’ve only heard a couple of times? Prepare to answer which guitarist played on a specific record and what year he left the band. But don’t admit you haven’t heard them, either, because they’ll accuse you of only saying you like that genre to look cool. Then they’ll ask you if you’ve ever heard of about five more bands, just to prove that you really know nothing. This happens so often that it feels like dudes meet in secret to work on a regimented series of tests they can use to determine whether or not we deserve to be here. The “fake geek girl” test is one, door guys stopping female musicians carrying gear to make sure they’re actually in the band and not just somebody’s girlfriend is another. Big rock magazines that interview male musicians about gear and female musicians about sexual harassment -- that’s up there too.

On the unfair gender-based expectations imposed on celebrities:
I feel weird about eating these days or leaving the house, or existing in a material form at all, because having a body that talks too much and sweats and makes mistakes is exhausting, and here’s [Andrew W.K.] just standing around with dented hair and a Napalm Death shirt over sweatpants shorts and it’s almost as if the whole world isn’t scrutinizing what’s in his cart at the grocery store, what he looks like without makeup on, how his gender affects his authenticity as a performer. I was looking straight at this spaced out, sweet-faced, charming guy, just standing there, calm and existing.

On being "fake":
But when a female musician is in any way fake, she’s denied creative agency, written off as uninventive and talentless. Beyoncé is accused of lip-synching, even when she isn’t. Music rags run articles exposing pop stars’ real names, highlighting Lorde, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus. But being that these are the most successful female artists in the world, one has to assume that their fakeness -- or, as we should be calling it, “reinvention” -- is necessary for women to succeed in the music industry. It’s the basic principle of survival, period: adapt and evolve, or die.

Blake Lively Reunites With 'Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants' Co-Stars

Blake Lively and her "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-stars reunited, proving that their onscreen friendships are just as solid in real life.

Amber Tamblyn uploaded a photo with Lively, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera to her Instagram Monday. In the snapshot, the four ladies pose with big smiles, looking like not a day has passed since they appeared together in the 2005 film adaptation of the popular young-adult novel.

"Brunch with my best bitches. #sisterhood," Tamblyn wrote. Ferrera reposted the photo, writing: "Always a good day when I'm with my sisters #DeLosPantalones Love these amazing women."

In April, Us Weekly reported Alloy Entertainment plans to develop a third installment in the series based on author Ann Brashares' fifth and final "Sisterhood" novel, "Sisterhood Everlasting." Following 2008's "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2," the third film will take place years later, showing the girls as young women who have grown up and fallen out of touch.

"The 'Sisterhood' series is one of Alloy’s most cherished properties and we are looking forward to continuing its legacy with 'Sisterhood Everlasting' nearly a decade after the first film was released," Alloy Entertainment President Les Morgenstein said in a statement. "The original film brought together an incredible group of talent who we hope to unite for fans once again."

Kim Kardashian Defends Kanye West After Wheelchair Incident

Kanye West already stood up for Kanye West, but Kim Kardashian is defending her husband after what will henceforth be known as the Wheelchair Incident of 2014.

The story goes that at West's show in Sydney on Sept. 12, he demanded everyone rise to their feet and refused to perform until they stood up. "I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and shit," he told the crowd. West became annoyed when he saw that there was only a single fan that remained seated. "Now, if he is in a wheelchair, it’s fine. Is he in a wheelchair right there?” The crowd screamed in the affirmative, and West had a bodyguard investigate that the concert-goer was actually wheelchair-bound, before he launched into “Good Life." The entire scene was captured on video, and it's pretty cringeworthy.

Kardashian chimed in on Monday to defend her beloved. The 33-year-old posted a video of West's performance on Instagram, and wrote:

What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings

Meanwhile, at his Brisbane show on Monday, West launched into a five-minute rant about the media "demonizing" him, demanding they "pick another target." There's video of that, too.

It's true that West asked everyone not in a wheelchair to stand up, and that's how it was reported. But it's unfortunate that neither West nor Kardashian understand a simple fact: West is taking heat because he had the audacity to insist that a fan prove himself physically unable to stand or he would not continue with the show.

Netflix Picks Up Judd Apatow Comedy Show 'Love' For Two Seasons

"Undeclared" fans, your decade-long prayers have been answered and a new Judd Apatow-created television show is in the works. Netflix has already picked up the comedy series "Love" for two seasons. According to Deadline.com, the first season will have 10 episodes while the second will have 12. Paul Rust ("I Love You Beth Cooper") and Gillian Jacobs ("Community") will star.

Apatow co-created and wrote the show with Rust and Lesley Arfin (she has credits on "Girls," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and wrote a book based on her Vice column, "Dear Diary"). The "Love" description reads: "'Love' follows Gus (Rust) and Mickey (Jacobs) as they navigate the exhilaration and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, and other things they were hoping to avoid."

“Judd Apatow has a unique comedic voice that manages to be delightful, insightful, and shockingly frank -- often at the same time,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos told Deadline.com. “Together with Paul and Lesley, he’s bringing a whole new level of agony and ecstasy to this modern day comedy of manners.”

Earlier this summer, Vulture reported that Apatow's "Love" might be sold to Hulu. In his report, Josef Adalian wrote, "A person familiar with the pilot script describes Love as a character-based comedy revolving around relationships, romantic and otherwise, with one (very messed-up) couple in particular at the center." At the time, Jacobs, Rust and Arfin were attached.

Variety notes that "Love" is Netflix's biggest pickup since David Fincher's "House of Cards," which was also nabbed a two-season order.

HuffPost Entertainment has reached out to Apatow's rep and Netflix, and this story will be updated when new information is available.

Zachary Quinto will be featured on "Girls" next season, but his plotline remains an incredibly well-guarded secret.

"I promised Lena I wouldn't spill the beans," he told HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri in an interview to promote "The Chair," his new Starz series.

That was the end of all discussion regarding his story on the show, but his ironclad privacy clause didn't stop the actor from raving about "Girls" showrunner Lena Dunham at length.

"I just love her through and through," he said. "I think she's so insightful and observant and intelligent and articulate, and that show captures so much of a that generation, and I feel like I'm even a little bit separated from that generation of people who are a decade or more younger than me now, but it was great to be a part of it."

Still, the question remains: will Quinto be playing Shoshanna's half-brother? Hannah's grad-school friend? Marnie's accountant? Jessa's butler? Elijah's cable man? Adam's digital strategist? The suspense is killing us.
