Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert are funny on their own, but put them together and they're truly sublime. (This should come as a surprise to exactly zero people.) Here's further proof that these two are an incredible comedic powerhouse. In 1993, they were both part of a revue called "Take Me Out to the Balkans" on the stage of Second City.

Check out Carrell and Colbert performing "The Obvious Song," along with castmates Paul Dinello and David Razowsky.

The World's Top 5 Cities for Celebrity Sightings

"Where are the best places to see celebrities tonight?" That's the question nobody wants to be caught asking the hotel concierge, because that question is predicated on another question that nobody wants to be asking themselves: Why do I want to see celebrities tonight? The simple answer might just be that one wants to try living the proverbial high life. Most likely, it's because having seen these beautiful famous people on a perfectly lit screen for so long, it's satisfying to just sit courtside to Sofia Vergara being a real human being and eating. Either way, we won't judge. Want to follow LiLo in Miami? We're here to help.

5. Miami, Florida

2014-08-17-soho.jpgPhoto via their official FB page.

Also see a different kind of celebrity by visiting one of Miami's top celebrity chef restaurants

Miami has a long and highly esteemed tradition as a celebrity playground. Hotels left from the Art Deco-era of the 1920s are planted all over South Beach, after living out their most successful years as temporary palaces of millionaires and their pin-up girlfriends. Now, the legacy lives on through the city's thriving cultural centers, galleries and museums; as well as its explosive festivals. For a surefire shot into the heart of Miami's big money artistic apex, forget spring break and plan a trip for Art Basel, a modern and contemporary art festival that brings the best artists in the field together with billionaire art collectors and heiresses trying to understand the form. Around the calendar, the Soho Beach House offers a great view along with a top-notch beach-club experience, the Delano Hotel has a classic Hollywood vibe, José Andrés Bazaar serves up an unparalleled mix of tapas and molecular gastronomy, and for everything else, there are the mega-clubs on South Beach.

4. London, England

Save money for chic London cocktail bars by checking out these tips from Hopper on how to find cheap flights to London

The effortlessly cool London has produced its own shiploads of trend-setting and culture-forming celebrities over the last century and it continues to do so. Its fashion is sublime, the hipster cred is off the charts and the music scene is consistently strong. The city seems almost too massive to be guaranteed a celebrity sighting, but the trendy neighborhoods of Soho or Primrose Hill often play host to the Olsen twins and other fashionable vintage-loving anglophiles. Hit Nobu and you might even catch Cara Delevingne or some such supermodel attempting to swallow down a forkful of black cod. London! Truly a swinging city.

3. New York, United States

2014-08-17-girls.jpgPhoto by PaulSteinJC/Flickr.

Take a closer look at the best places to see celebrities in New York on Hopper

What can we say about New York that Jay Z hasn't already rhapsodized in a chart-topping hit? If you can make it here, then you can make it anywhere - and anybody worth slyly Instagramming has certainly made it here. But remember that sly is the crucial word - NYC is the celeb's playground, domicile and workplace. It's where they go to forget that they're famous because they happen to be surrounded by other celebrities. The rules are off when it comes to places like Barney's, Berdorf's and any restaurant with profiles in Bon Appétit and the New York Times (the Spotted Pig is a reliable favorite). So for the rundown - we can wait here while you silence your mobile - Tina Fey lives in the Upper West Side, Woody Allen in the Upper East Side, Ferris Bueller and Carrie Bradshaw in the West Village, and anyone under the age of 35 or pushing it can be found easily in Brooklyn Heights. But just, y'know, be cool about it, OK?

2. Vancouver, British Columbia

2014-08-17-vancouver.jpgPhoto by Tim Shields BC/Flickr.

Hopper's list of places to spot celebs in Vancouver has info on the cool hotels and restaurants they visit in town

The third most populous city in Canada might be a surprising hit on the celeb-radar, but there are several reasons why people have started calling Vancouver "Hollywood North." It's neighborhoods are round-the-calendar filming locations, having lent some background to shows like Supernatural, Smallville and Once Upon a Time and movies including Juno and MI:3 - Ghost Protocol. Plus, this beautiful western Canadian city is the birthplace of such notable stars as Pam Anderson, Michael Bublé, Sandra Oh and Cobie Smulders. Unlike many cities on this list, celebrity sightings in Vancity are, like the city itself, calm, cool and relaxed. No paparazzi disturbing your tuna tartare entrée. To get a glimpse of Rachel McAdams or Kim Cattrall, stay at the Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Vancouver and try the Blue Water Café and Raw Bar - you're not going to want to miss the seafood in this city.

1. Los Angeles, California

Celeb-chasers will have more money for Melrose Ave shopping if they follow these tips from Hopper on how to find cheap flights to Los Angeles

If you want to see celebs, go where the celebs are. The obvious first checkpoint is by going on a tour of Paramount Studios, which is the perennial workplace for certain movie stars as well as some TV mainstays like the cast of Glee, Community and Dr. Phil (he's a kind of celebrity, right?). Its sound stages and filming lots have been graced by the likes of hardworking men and women like Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich, Audrey Hepburn, John Travolta, Meryl Streep and many, many others. Of course, off the lot, there are tons of opportunities to get your celeb-sightings on over wining and dining. Follow the TMZ vans to The Ivy and it's not unlikely that Ben Affleck, Mandy Moore, Beyonce, Lindsay Lohan and a longer list of others will be sharing the open deck and getting their $30 lobster salad on at the next table over.

BET Suspends '106 & Park' Producer For Blue Ivy Joke (SOURCE)

NEW YORK (AP) -- BET has suspended a producer after a joke about Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter that aired Monday on the network's music video countdown show, "106 & Park."

A source at the network, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not allowed to discuss the matter publicly, said the producer was suspended after a remark about 2-year-old Blue Ivy's hair.

On Monday's show during a segment about Blue Ivy's hypothetical thoughts during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, guest host Karrueche Tran said: "I really did wake up like this, because my parents never comb my hair." Blue Ivy joined her mother onstage at the VMAs.

Stephen Hill, BET's president of music programming and specials, publicly apologized on Twitter.

"Last night on 106 & Park there was a stupid, unthoughtful joke made about a young child," Hill tweeted.

Hill also said the network privately apologized to Beyonce and Jay Z.

BET didn't immediately return an email seeking comment Wednesday.

Tran, who has dated singer Chris Brown on and off, tweeted Tuesday that she did not write the joke. She wrote: "Now y'all know I LOVE me some Beyonce and Blue Ivy!"

Hill also tweeted that it was not Tran's fault.

"We also apologize to her for putting her in that position," he wrote.

Counting Crows Frontman Adam Duritz Explains Why No One Can Find Him On Tinder

Single ladies, take note: Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz is on the market, and he's on Tinder.

You can follow in the footsteps of former Duritz love interests such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Emmy Rossum by simply downloading the dating app, which the musician recently joined. After tweeting a screenshot of his profile, he explained to HuffPost Live why he isn't ashamed to use the popular dating service.

"Everybody is on Tinder," he told host Ricky Camilleri. "My married friends are on Tinder. Seriously, there is nobody who is not on Tinder at this point. It's a video game. My married publicist who told me not to go on Tinder is on Tinder, and so is her husband."

Duritz is surprised that people even came across his profile to begin with.

"I don't think most people would even have me on their [age] range. Most people my age aren't on [Tinder]," the 50-year-old said. "They don't even know how to use a phone."

The singer seemed less surprised, however, at the fact that he was still single.

"You muddle through and you crash into a wall," he said, referring to the relationship trajectory he finds himself frequently succumbing to. "I blame myself because it's my fault. ... I'm crazy, and I write a lot of songs about that particular wall. I don't know why more people haven't picked up on it."

Adam Duritz Opens Up About Depersonalization Disorder: 'Being Crazy Is Scary' (VIDEO)

There are few things that faze Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz. But the rocker's battle with depersonalization disorder has terrified him, he admitted on HuffPost Live.

"The dissociative disorder is scary. Being crazy is scary. I would love to not have to deal with that," he said to host Ricky Camilleri.

Depersonalization disorder is a dissociative disorder that causes sufferers to feel as though they are outside observers of themselves, disconnected from their physical bodies and no longer in control of their thoughts and actions.

Duritz first revealed his diagnosis publicly in 2008, and has said previously that his mental health issues have hampered his ability to write new songs and release new music with Counting Crows. The band's newest album, "Somewhere Under Wonderland," will be its first in seven years.

Duritz admitted that he deals with depersonalization "all the time."

"It's not going anywhere. It's sort of an 'all day, every day' thing. It's not fun," he said. "But that's life, you know. It's just like anything else. You kind of get what you get. "

Now's your chance to go behind the scenes of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" music video. After beating out Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" to be No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, Swift tweeted the video and wrote, "I can't thank radio and you all enough for the Hot 100 #1! But I can give you this video of Shake It Off outtakes ..."

Based on the title -- "Outtakes Video #1 'The Cheerleaders'" -- this is just the first of a series of clips to be released about the filming. Directed by Mark Romanek, the music vid follows Swift being dorky with a bunch of different dance groups. "This is the most exciting music video I've ever done," she says to the camera. Swift also says she prepared by running a lot -- "which I hate!" See the outtakes from the cheerleader segment:

Hello Kitty Is Not A Cat Because Nothing Makes Sense Anymore

You might want to sit down for this one.

Sanrio has revealed Hello Kitty -- the supposedly adorable feline character that adorns everything from lunch boxes and toasters to t-shirts and lingerie -- is, in fact, not a cat. We repeat NOT A CAT.

Just what is Hello Kitty, you're asking?

Hello Kitty is a human girl (and a British one at that), Christine R. Yano, the author of "Pink Globalization: Hello Kitty's Trek Across the Pacific," told The Los Angeles Times.

"Hello Kitty is not a cat. She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature," Yano explained to the Times.

And if you are ready for your mind to be just a little more blown, the character we all know as Hello Kitty is actually Kitty White -- a Scorpio who loves apple pie, and is the daughter of George and Mary White.

"She has a twin sister. She's a perpetual third-grader. She lives outside of London. I could go on. A lot of people don't know the story and a lot don't care," Yano told the paper.

Leave it to Beyonce to hold one of the coolest surfboards/#surfborts we've ever seen.

The singer/leader of the universe is the cover star for CR Fashion Book Issue 5, Carine Roitifeld's magazine. Beyonce poses in a Yohi Yamamoto coat we wish we could pull off, Sister by Sibling mask and Manolo Blahnik shoes.

This is not the first time the magazine has made waves with its cover. Last year, CR Fashion Book featured Kim Kardashian wearing a grill. But let's forget the cover for just one second -- it's Queen Bey's fashion spread that's even more captivating. Inside the issue, her hair sweeps the floor a la Rapunzel and she holds some serious power stances with a Chanel surfboard in tow.

Captured by photographer Pierre Debusschere, the shoot was directed by beloved fashion designer, Riccardo Tisci. See Beyonce fulfill her own definition of ***Flawless in the photos below. Read her poem to Blue Ivy and more at crfashionbook.com or pick up a copy on newsstands September 4.

Congratulations are in order for Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Pique.

The singer turned "The Voice" coach and her Spanish soccer player beau are expecting their second child together, she confirmed in the Spanish edition of Cosmopolitan.

The couple welcomed a son, Milan, in January 2013.

The 37-year-old singer met Pique, 27, at the World Cup in 2010, where she performed her World Cup anthem, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)."

"If it wasn't for the World Cup, my son Milan would not be here," she told the Associated Press in July.

Miranda July's New App Will Turn The World Into A Miranda July Film

Nobody explores the space between intimacy and technology quite like Miranda July.

The performance artist, writer and filmmaker continually investigates the shapes of interconnectedness in the digital age, through films like "Me and You and Everyone We Know" and art initiatives like "We Think Alone," in which July's famous friends forwarded their intimate emails to your inbox.

Now July has created an app that will blur the line between digital and personal interaction, and it's called "Somebody." Basically, instead of texting your friend, lover or desired text recipient, your message will be sent to a "Somebody" user in close proximity of the intended receiver, who will then deliver the message in person. You can attach personal touches to your text message, adding actions like "crying," "begin air quotes," "kiss," or "scream."

So instead of reading your texts, the sendee will have the message personally acted out... by a stranger.

bm

"Texting is tacky. Calling is awkward. Email is old," the "Somebody" statement explains. But this app is far more than a new mode of communication. It's an improvised performance between two strangers, an unusual form of puppetry or even possession. "I see this as far-reaching public art project, inciting performance and conversation about the value of inefficiency and risk," July explains.

The app, created with support from Miu Miu, launched at the Venice Film Festival, along with an accompanying short film, which you can see below.

Like most of July's films, the short above blends the magical and the technologically enhanced, the banal and the uncanny, the awkward and the sentimental. But then again, this isn't just a short film; it's a trailer for the app. So, in a potential future where everyone has downloaded "Somebody," we'll pretty much be living in a Miranda July film. If that's not incentive to download the app, we're not sure what is.

"Somebody" works best when there is a critical mass of users in the area, like a party, concert or office. July has already set up official "hotspots" for app users at museums around the country, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The New Museum, Yerba Buena Center for The Arts, Portland Institute of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where it will be part of the exhibition "Conversation Piece," starting October 10.

Learn more about "Somebody" here, and make sure to download the app from iTunes -- yes, it's free. Check out an earlier interview with July here.

The MFA is hosting the lecture “Miranda July: The First Bad Man” with the artist on Wednesday and Thursday, April 15 and 16, 2015 –– part of the MFA’s Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Celebrity Lectures: Evenings with Creative Minds.

Miley Cyrus Wears The World's Least Wearable Bathing Suit On The Cover Of V Magazine

Miley Cyrus has this way of sending us on sort of an emotional roller coaster. One day she's advocating for homeless youth and the next day she's, well, provocatively lying atop a pile of stuffed animals in a sexy, custom Fendi fur bathing suit on the cover of V Magazine.

Cyrus is the glossy's Fall 2014 cover star, appropriately titled the Rebels issue, which is photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself (who also designed the swimsuit, obviously.) The shoot is styled by famed stylist Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele, who told the mag she and Miley "go together like hand and glove."

We've seen plenty of unwearable swimsuits before, but this one definitely takes the cake. Having said that, if anyone can pull it off, it's Cyrus.

Hang Out With 'Orange Is The New Black' Cast And Help Support Real Women In Prison

$

The fictitious ladies of Litchfield Correctional Facility are putting their on-camera differences aside for real women facing the realities of life behind bars.

A handful of cast members from Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black" are spending time with the winners from an online auction, with proceeds benefiting the Women's Prison Association, or WPA. Auction winners will have lunch with Taylor Schilling and Piper Kerman (who is not a cast member, but whose memoir inspired the series), drink coffee with Lea DeLaria, and shop with Jessica Pimentel, Laura Gómez, Jackie Cruz and Diane Guerrero. Fans were able to bid on the experiences, which are part of the WPA's #2ndChances Campaign and will take place in New York City, through online auction platform CharityBuzz. Bidding opened Aug. 13 and closed Wednesday afternoon.

The WPA provides a variety of services to women at all stages of the criminal justice system. While women are behind bars, the association helps them access mental health and addiction services and gain peer support from women in similar circumstances, among many other services. The WPA also helps women transition into post-prison life by helping them prepare for job interviews and teaching them everyday life skills, such as budgeting.

The WPA plays a vital role within a system that is affecting a growing number of American women. According to the organization, there are about 200,000 women behind bars in the U.S., reflecting a 750 percent increase in the last three decades. And certain demographics have taken the brunt of those alarming figures. In 2008, one in 100 black women aged 35 to 39 was in prison -- more than 3.5 times the rate for white women -- according to a report from the Pew Center on the State, the New York Times reported.

The WPA showed its appreciation for the Netflix series on Facebook earlier this week by posting a message in support of the program ahead of Monday's Emmys Awards ceremony.

Gun Company Cuts Ties With 'Sons Of Guns' Star Will Hayden

$

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A Louisiana firearms company at the center of the reality TV show "Sons of Guns" distanced itself from the program's star this week after he was arrested on charges of repeatedly raping a child.

Will Hayden was arrested Tuesday. As of Thursday, Red Jacket Firearms said that "with heavy hearts," it had legally cut ties with him but would continue to operate.

"We are the heart and soul of Red Jacket and will remain steadfast in our commitment to quality and our customers, for years to come," a statement on its website said.

An email request for information from the company was not immediately answered.

After the arrest, The Discovery Channel canceled the show, citing "the serious and horrific nature of the charges" against the star.

Hayden remained in prison Thursday morning, jail records showed, with bail set at $250,000. He was arrested on aggravated rape charges involving a child, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said. He already faced child molestation and aggravated crime against nature charges stemming from an arrest Aug. 9.

Hayden began having sex with the child, then 11 years old, in 2013, according to allegations in an affidavit filed by sheriff's deputies. The latest rape, the report said, happened in July.

A guardian of the victim contacted deputies Aug. 16. The victim confided to the guardian after Hayden's Aug. 9 arrest, according to the report.

Deputies said they met with the child and guardian and took a statement.

According to the affidavit, the child told deputies Hayden took her virginity when she was 11 years old and that sex acts happened almost daily thereafter.

The report says Hayden coerced the victim into silence with threats of physical abuse.

"Don't tell them nothing because I'm all you've got," the affidavit says the 49-year-old Hayden told the victim.

The Associated Press generally does not identify potential victims of sexual assault.

It wasn't immediately clear whether Hayden had an attorney

"Sons of Guns" began airing in 2011 and followed Hayden's family-owned custom firearms business. Episodes often showed Hayden and his adult daughter, Stephanie, helping customers find weapons, including rifles. Other scenes showed the process of making the guns, images from firing ranges, and ammunition tips.

Nick Cannon: I Like A Woman Who 'Knows' What She Wants

Fresh off the heels of revealing marital issues with wife, Mariah Carey, it appears Nick Cannon might be ready to move forward as an eligible bachelor.

During an interview with Hello Beautiful, the multifaceted "America's Got Talent" host recently dished on his relationship needs. Cannon admitted that he prefers “a strong woman. I like somebody who knows what they want and getting right to it. That makes a lot of sense for me. And so I welcome that, or ‘welcomed’ that. “

In addition to his ideal woman, the 33-year-old also gave advice on how to ask a woman out on a date.

“You never want to make it about the individual,” he admitted. “You say, ‘Hey, what are you and your friends doing? I want to come hang out with y’all.’ Or, ‘let’s all go together.’ So that takes all the pressure off of it of this whole one on one conversation.’

“I’m a true believer in everything has to start off as a friendship first so it was never really about dating. Everybody that I was probably ever serious with it always started off like, ‘Yo, let’s just be cool,’ and then it turned into something else.”

Check out more of Nick Cannon relationship advice in the clip above.

Swarm Of Bees Attacks Blake Lively, Teaches Her That Age Is But A Number

$

Blake Lively, person who was on "Gossip Girl" and recently made a "creepy" lifestyle blog, was attacked by a swarm of bees on her birthday. She recounted her experience with this different sort of "bee day" (pun intended, by her) over at Preserve:

I felt an electric shock of energy-- was it excitement that I was about to turn another year older? Was it nerves? Why did it feel like agony? I like getting older ... I think.

But this felt terrible. Does your butt quite suddenly (and painfully) deflate when you turn 27? Because mine hurt like hell …then my neck, back, legs and forehead. And oh my hands! They were shriveling. It felt like I was being shot by dozens of tiny invisible darts. I felt like the Wicked Witch, melting, melting, burning, melting.

As common as violent physical reactions to aging a year in your mid- to late-20s might seem, Lively's visceral experience was actually many bees using their butts to sting her.

After escaping the swarm, she decorated a vanilla cake. It was while baking she realized that the bees had used their venom to combat the fear brought on by the ephemerality of the human condition. Of course!

"It took a swarm of bees to remind me that a b-day is nothing but a number. Each day I choose my age," she wrote, presumably squinting at the screen with puffy eyes, doing her best to type with swollen hands. "Today it’s 27, going on 2."

Thanks for teaching Blake Lively that lesson, bees. We leave you with this:
