Here's your next big movie star getting cold water in his "butt crack," America:

During their headlining gig at the UK's V Festival in Staffordshire, The Killers took a break in their set to show some love for everyone's favorite summer anthem, "Fancy." Giving Iggy Azalea's hit a piano makeover, Brandon Flowers sang through the hook, switching the lyrics "from LA to Tokyo," to the in-the-moment appropriate "from Vegas to Staffordshire." Joining Flowers in the cover was drummer Ronnie Vannucci, who provided a sweet interpretive dance, borrowing some moves from Napoleon Dynamite. Watch the video below.

ABC News Anchor Elizabeth Vargas Returns To Rehab

LOS ANGELES (AP) — ABC News reporter Elizabeth Vargas has returned to a recovery center to be treated for alcohol dependency, she and the network said Sunday.

The "20/20" co-anchor said in an emailed statement that she checked into a treatment facility this weekend while on vacation.

"As so many other recovering alcoholics know, overcoming the disease can be a long and incredibly difficult process," Vargas said. "I feel I have let myself, my co-workers and most importantly my family down and for that I am ashamed and sorry."

Vargas, who's married to Marc Cohn and has two children with the singer-songwriter, said she was "committed to battling and addressing this debilitating disease" and expressed thanks for the support she has received.

The network said in a statement that it stands "squarely behind her" and was focused on Vargas' health.

"We look forward to having her back at ABC News when she feels ready to return," ABC News said.

Vargas is being treated at an inpatient facility, and the length of her stay will be determined by her and her doctors, said a person familiar with the situation.

The person, who wasn't authorized to comment publicly, spoke on condition of anonymity.

Vargas, 51, spent several weeks in a treatment facility last fall. She acknowledged in an interview that aired in January on "Good Morning America" that she was an alcoholic and that it took years for her to admit it.

She said she had suffered panic attacks since she was a child.

"I dealt with that anxiety, and with the stress that the anxiety brought, by starting to drink," she said in the interview.

Vargas has worked in network news since 1993, first with NBC and then ABC, which she joined in 1996.

Robin Williams Fulfilled Bucket List Wish For 21-Year-Old Mom With Terminal Cancer

In the week since Robin Williams’ passing, it has emerged that this beloved actor’s skills stretched far beyond the big screen.

Perhaps one of his greatest yet least-known talents was his ability to bring light to complete strangers who were facing their darkest days.

When Vivian Waller, 21, was diagnosed with bowel cancer, which has spread to her liver and lungs, she devised a bucket list to bring some meaning and joy to her final days. In addition to getting married and celebrating her daughter Sophie’s 1st birthday, she dreamed of meeting Robin Williams, New Zealand's Sunday Star Times reported.

Since Waller is now living in a hospice in Auckland and was too weak to travel to meet the “Patch Adams” star, the acclaimed comedian brought his signature mix of humor and empathy to her via a video message.

The message was short and perfectly sweet:

"Hi Vivian ... it's Robin Williams here saying, 'Hey girl what's going on down there in New Zealand,'" the actor says in the video above. "I'm sending all my love to you, Jack and Sophie ... knock this off your bucket list."

He then concluded by singing a song, which was his way of "channeling Matthew McConaughey."

Vivian’s husband, Jack, wanted to share this intimate moment with the world because, "we love [Williams], we want to show people how awesome a person he was," he told the news outlet.

Turns out, Waller was one of a number of people diagnosed with grave conditions that Williams quietly supported, away from the limelight, in order to boost their spirits.

Back in 2004, when Jessica Cole was dying from brain cancer, Williams had arranged through the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the little girl to meet him in California. But when she grew too weak to travel, the committed actor chartered a private plane to her home in Greensboro, North Carolina, so that the two could spend the day playing cards and watching football, WFMY News reported.

Williams also made a lasting impact on Rudy Garcia-Tolson who had both legs amputated above the knee when he was 5 years old, Jenna Novotny, Challenged Athletes Foundation senior marketing manager, told HuffPost via email.

The actor met Garcia-Tolson when he was 10 years old and the two completed their first relay triathlon in 1998 with the Challenged Athletes Foundation. The pair continued racing together afterwards, and Garcia-Tolson, now 25, has since gone on to win two Paralympic gold medals and was the first double above-knee amputee to complete an Ironman triathlon.

The determined athlete credits much of his success to Williams’ constant support.

"You showed not only me, but the whole world, that it’s okay to be different -- and that the power of humor can change lives," Garcia-Tolson wrote in a statement on his website. "I can never thank you enough for going out of your way to make me smile. Thank you for making me the luckiest kid alive. Thank you for being a heck of a friend."

While Vivian Waller is no longer accepting conventional treatment, she is raising funds for her daughter, Sophie’s future and her own medical and natural therapy costs. Find out more about her campaign and how you can get involved here.

Elin Nordegren Splits From Billionaire Boyfriend Chris Cline, Sources Say

Elin Nordegren may be a single woman again.

Tiger Woods' ex-wife has reportedly broken up with billionaire boyfriend Chris Cline after one year of dating, a source told Us Weekly over the weekend.

The 34-year-old former model reportedly began dating the 54-year-old coal tycoon back in March 2013. This was Nordegren's first serious relationship since she divorced Woods in 2010, following the pro golfer's heavily publicized cheating scandal.

So what went wrong with Cline? A source close to Nordegren told Page Six that the pair had simply "drifted apart."

"They didn't spend enough time together," the insider said. "He has a thriving business and has been traveling a lot."

In any case, the newly single mom of two has been making headlines for more than just her dating life as of late. In May, Nordegren graduated from Rollins College with a 3.96 GPA and was selected to give a speech as the school's outstanding graduating senior. That same month, the famously press-shy former model opened up to People magazine about how she and Woods get along today.

“My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good -- we really are -- and I am so happy that this is the case. He is a great father,” Nordegren said.

Woods, meanwhile, has been dating Olympic skiier Lindsay Vonn since May 2013.

Amy Poehler Says What We're All Thinking About Art World Pretensions

Are we dreaming? Or is that really Amy Poehler making the art world parody of our wildest dreams in the video above?

Poehler channels Edith Head in her latest commercial for Old Navy, donning a chic blonde bowl cut, a black cape, and lots of smack talk regarding art world bullsh*t.

The comedienne spouts mad knowledge of the inner workings of the art world in the commercial outtake above, shedding light on the ridiculous habits of art-speak we, sadly, know all too well. Our personal favorite nugget of wisdom has to be: "This is a challenging piece. It’s so stupid it's hard to understand, and that can be interesting."

We always suspected this was the logic behind some of the more dubious New York art shows.

The forty-five seconds of comedy gold above confirm our suspicion there are few things in life more enjoyable than a spot-on satire of the art world. Well done, Amy, well done. You really gave "Portlandia" a run for its money.

ESPN's Matthew Berry: Jay-Z Is 'One Of The Greatest Trash Talkers In The History of Fantasy Football'

Back in the '80s and '90s, fantasy sports existed only as a nerdy retreat for obsessed sports fans. Today, it has permeated culture so much that ESPN's Matthew Berry, arguably the face of fantasy sports today, helped rapper/mogul/icon Jay-Z with his fantasy draft last year.

Berry stopped by HuffPost Live on Monday to chat about the upcoming season, and told HuffPost's Jordan Schultz that hanging with Jay was a favorite memory for him. He also said the rapper might have talked the most trash he's ever seen at a draft.

"I always say: in what universe should Jay-Z and I be hanging out?" Berry said with a laugh. "I'm sitting literally this close to him for three hours, watching him draft and watching him trash talk, everyone else, which is an unholy sight to believe. It's really amazing. One of the greatest trash talkers in the history of fantasy football."

Jay did not end up winning the league, as that honor went to former record executive Steve Stoute. Clippers point guard Chris Paul was also in the fantasy league.

That Time I Met Beyoncé

$

With the overwhelming hardship of losing a beloved performer a few days ago, I thought I'd try to cast a little happiness and tell the world about how, today, I met Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

Would never happen, right? But yes. It actually happened. And here's the story:

I was able to take a free class at SoulCycle today (first off, love it) in Beverly Hills due to the kindness of a teacher that I've been taking classes with. I go into the room, and the class was tiny. Maybe about 12 people. Most were in the front. But I noticed there were two girls in the back. And after only needing about half a second of analysis, I confirmed that it was, in fact, the Beyoncé. I was within feet of her. Her glow nearly graced my shoulder.

That whole class, my mind was racing with fantasies. Maybe she'd be so impressed at my mediocre SoulCycle skills that she'd invite me to lunch. Then she'd invite me to take a ride in the back of her Escalade or whatever celebrities drive these days. In this fantasy, we quickly become lifelong friends and I become the primary babysitter of Blue Ivy. Well, that didn't happen, but this next part did.

The class ended, and I thanked the teacher for the free class, obviously to see if I could snatch a few more moments with the Queen. She stayed to speak to the teacher so I left the room. I'm at my locker, thinking the moment is gone, until:

BAM! She walks up and stands next to a locker directly next to me. I'm shaking. This isn't happening. To say she's a vision is an understatement. She's wearing little make up, but she still shines. Even though we've been sweating for 45 minutes straight, her hair cascades down in perfect waves. She's wearing sneakers by some designer I can't even pronounce. I didn't even know designers made sneakers.

As she speaks with her friend, I close my eyes. Ok Alex. This is the most once-in-a-lifetime chance of all once-in-a-lifetime chances. Say something. What the hell do I say??? "Danny DeVito, I love your work!!" No. Too far. So with a deep inhale, I turn to her and say "Hi, Mrs. Carter. I just wanted to say I saw you perform at the Rose Bowl last weekend, and you were incredible. You're one of my favorite performers."

For just a short moment, she examines me, before saying "Hey! Thanks so much. Glad you liked it!" I'm sure she's gotten that a million times, and this is just an ordinary example. But her response was so honest. Of course there were a million things I wanted to say to her, from her innovative and unprecedented music career to her support to the LGBT community to her uplifting messages to dreaming little girls everywhere. But obviously, that's all I got out.

Her bodyguard escorted her out the secret exit of the club. And I stood there in shock, trying not to stare. I thought that was our last moment. Until I got to the elevators (lawlz). As I'm waiting for an elevator, she arrives there as well, along with her party. Like that girl in the opening sequence in The Devil Wears Prada, I decided to not attempt to enter their elevator. So I just stood there and waited for the next one.

But right as her elevator doors close, I snag one last glance (cause I'm an idiot). And right before the door completely closed, she looked at me and smiled. And for that moment, we connected.

I later sat in my car for 20 minutes after the class, sweaty and in silence, pensively rerunning the past hour of my life over and over again. The moment was brief and has probably escaped her mind since its occurrence. But for this brief moment in time, fate did a funny thing, and I was brought face-to-face with this walking diva herself.

Beyoncé, thank you for gracing my life for just a moment. And thanks for all you've done for our community. Maybe someday, I'll have something more interesting to say.

JWoww publicly announced she wouldn't be having sex while pregnant, but much to her fiance Roger Mathews' dismay, the "Jersey Shore" cast member and new mother is in no rush to hit the sheets after giving birth.

In a HuffPost Live appearance to promote "Jersey Shore Massacre," the new horror comedy film she produced, Jenni "JWoww" Farley said that while her "vagina is back to normal," she'll still be abstaining.

"I'm not going to have sex for another year or two" she told host Caitlyn Becker.

Meilani, her daughter, was born five weeks ago, but the reality star's remained celibate "because doctors advise waiting until the six-week mark."

Although she and Roger haven't cozied up to one another since the beginning of her pregnancy, JWoww admitted she's not looking forward to resuming sexual activity.

"It's like virgin status," she affirmed. "[Roger's] like, 'Come on!' and I'm like 'No -- I was stitched. You have to wait!'"

Taylor Swift Premiered A New Song Called 'Shake It Off' During Her Live Stream

Taylor Swift premiered a new song during her Yahoo! live stream on Monday. Filmed before a scream-happy studio audience and opening with a talk show-esque spiel about absorbing backlash, Swift bestowed upon us her next single, "Shake It Off," which is all about how "haters gonna hate." That, of course, means there's a new music video to go along with it.

The clip is directed by Mark Romanek, who's responsible for such famous videos as Madonna's "Bedtime Story," Michael & Janet Jackson's "Scream," Fiona Apple's "Criminal" and Johnny Cash's "Hurt." It combines the complimentary art forms of ballet and twerking, which means we can count Natalie Portman and Miley Cyrus among Swift's recent influences.

As predicted, the singer also announced a new album, titled "1989" (the year Swift was born) and inspired by listening to "a lot of late-'80s pop." It's due out Oct. 27.

Stand With Keith Ellison and Barbara Lee to End the Blockade of Gaza

"True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." -- Martin Luther king, Jr.

I genuinely feel the need to speak out because I think to remain silent in the face of the horrors that we have all been witnessing in Gaza is irresponsible citizenship.

As responsible citizens we must demand that our government exercise all influence to bring the Israeli government to honest, productive negotiations with the Palestinian unity government, to achieve lasting justice upon which an enduring peace, security, and prosperity can be achieved by all. And the first step is for our government to use its influence with Israel and Egypt to ensure that there is a lasting ceasefire between Israel and Gaza that ends the economic blockade of 1.8 million Palestinians in Gaza, as Representatives Keith Ellison and Barbara Lee have called for.

It is not just the indiscriminate killing of non-combatant Palestinian citizens, hundreds of children among them, by the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza that moves me to speak out. My concerns coincide with the millions across the United States and around the world who are deeply pained and who denounced the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli boys. I join with so many other people in always opposing attacks on civilians, and therefore I staunchly denounce rockets being fired by Hamas at Israeli civilians. The economic blockade of Gaza's people is also an attack on civilians, and we should denounce this devastating act of economic violence as strongly as we denounce acts of physical violence.

What should we in the USA responsibly do as citizens to contribute to a just resolution?

I support the stand taken by President Obama in calling for a lasting ceasefire. U.S. citizens must understand that a lasting ceasefire requires not just meeting Israeli and Egyptian security concerns, but Palestinian security concerns as well. And that means protecting the Palestinian population of Gaza from the future threat of economic blockade. Palestinian producers in Gaza must be free to export their goods, including to the West Bank. Palestinian fishermen must be free to fish in Gaza's territorial waters. Palestinian farmers in Gaza must be free to farm their lands. Palestinian University students and Palestinians who need advanced medical care must be free to travel from Gaza, including to the West Bank, without facing arbitrary delays and restrictions.

Not only must there be a lasting ceasefire in Gaza, but as former U.S. president Jimmy Carter and former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, have stated, the international community must act to end the Gaza blockade. Carter and Robinson have called for a UN Security Council resolution to end the blockade. The international community should consider this step if the current talks in Cairo fail to end the blockade.

The US government must take concrete steps in sync with the international community, to ensure that diplomacy effectively addresses Palestinian aspirations. Otherwise, experts concede, a new round of violence is inevitable.

The active voices and organized demands on governments by even-handed, responsible citizens of all persuasions can, if we will, achieve peace and justice for all.

"Slobbering on the Coffin" - Oddball Interview With True Blood's Ginger, Tara Buck

2014-08-16-tarabucktaylorcolemillergingertrueblood2.jpg

Everyone who has seen Sunday's episode of True Blood "Love is to Die" knows that Ginger scored a major victory this week. The result was one of the series' greatest-ever, and certainly one of its funniest scenes.

The strung-out, over-glamored, bar-slinging fangbanger we all know and love is played by the lovely and hysterical Tara Buck. After speaking with Carrie Preston (Arlene) last week, I jumped at the chance to chat with her this week, but, for fun, I wanted to ask her a few questions she's probably never been asked. The very questions I imagine Ginger asks when Fangtasia's hiring new staff.

--

Hey Tara! So, before the oddball interview starts, one of my favorite scenes in the whole series is the one in which Ginger rides Pam's coffin to keep it closed and Pam inside safe from the witches. Can you tell me everything about that scene?

That scene definitely became one of my favorites as well! In the script it was just one line, no description, as kind of an after-thought after the preceding scene with dialogue. The witches are coming, Ginger tries to keep Pam in the coffin. That's all it said.

So, I didn't know what that looked like or even how the set would look or anything. I loved the scene right before right as well, where Pam has the skin-eating disease and she needs shots, and Ginger is giving her shots.

She's laying in that pink coffin, which I think is hilarious, and she kind of looks like Voldemort covered in that strange, weird see-through wonderful makeup, and you can see her veins and everything.

2014-08-18-gingershot.jpg

So, we started there, then I shut the lid on the coffin and [Pam] screams ... I think she curses, in fact I think she says "Fuck me!" -- and Ginger had to jump. We spent the day doing that scene, and then we setup for the next shot and it was like, "OK, you're gonna come down the stairs and there's the coffin ... what would you do?" And then they showed me that it was actually shaking. They had it on a rig, so it was actually moving, and I thought "Oh, that's wonderful!" They had this gigantic airplane turbine-fan looking thing -- a big huge wall fan.

They just said, "So, you know whatever. It's just going to start shaking, rocking a little bit. Whatever you want to do to keep her in there. We think it'd be funny if you get on top ... or use your body to keep the door closed ..." and I was like "OK ... cool."

So I come down the stairs, and it starts to shake and -- I get on the coffin, and I swear it was one of those things where I felt like the crew was scheming, like, "This is so funny!" -- and so they ramped up the rocking, and [she laughs] so I started bucking more and the wind is really ripping through there, and I'm screaming

And you know we did it once and people were laughing, and they're "So, let's do it again! Just keep going -- just keep screaming!" and so we just did the extended version where it just kept bucking, and I was sliding all around, and the wind kept blowing, and I just kept screaming and screaming. And finally, drool started dripping down the side of my mouth -- and I was like "Oh my god! Time out! I'm slobbering on top of the coffin."

And that was it -- and I think they kept a cut from that. But they had a full extended version that -- whenever there was a long day on set or somebody needed a laugh, they would turn that on to the monitor and everybody would gather around and crack up - it was kind of a thing on set that season. It was really hilarious!

2014-08-16-tarabucktaylorcolemillertrueblood.gif

My other favorite scene with you (before Sunday's episode) was, you just shot Lafayette. And then you start screaming. You scream at him. You scream at the gun. You scream at the door behind you when you accidentally fall into it. You put the gun on the bar and scream at it again. Where does this scream come from!?

That was really the first scene that the scream made its way into the character's profile. I screamed in the first scene of the season before, so season 1, but this was the first time Ginger had come back. I think it may have been written in the script that I screamed once, and I just thought it was funny. I thought it was funny she shoots him. She says she hates guns ... she comes out ... she's so tough -- trying to be so tough -- and then personally I thought it was hilarious. But then she picks up the towel and brings him a towel and screams and looks at towel and screams because it's so dirty. I just thought -- the more she can scream the funnier it is when he's the one who is shot and he's laying on the ground -- just ... "Jesus Christ who is this woman?!"

Does scream come from somewhere?

Ginger just is ... it's hard to tell exactly where those quirks of the character originate. But there's something very ... The first time Ginger screams, she screams and then she throws up. [I laugh] Eric and Pam make this comment like, "Oh jeez, humans!" There's just something about that that is hilarious that then she's the one that they choose to be with. She's like a guard do, the guard dog that won't stop barking. [she laughs]

They keep her but there's this one area where she's totally out of control, and I think that's funny. [she reminisces] I also think it's funny she's always dressed in these short dingy outfits and heels to the moon. In that particular scene, we were shooting behind the bar; at the time we were still shooting at Alex's Bar in Long Beach. So, it's a real bar that they would turn into Fangtasia.

So it's a real bar, and it looks relatively similar to the original Fantasia -- it really looks like that! Behind the bar on the floor there is that thick rubber bar mat with holes in it to keep you from slipping. That was really in there, but Ginger is wearing these insanely high spike heels, so I kept sort of stumbling through that with the heel getting stuck as I walked along. And I've got a gun ... in other words it was ridiculous. There's no way that on set in the moment that you don't think this is ridiculous and you might as well just play it because obviously she doesn't think it's ridiculous. This is her world. So, you might as well just go as far as you can with it.

Last week I spoke with Carrie Preston (Arlene) about wrapping the show and striking the set. She was pretty openly pissed that the cast, even though they had filled out forms for cherished items, did not receive the props they'd hoped for when Screen Gems and Warner Bros. swooped in and "stole the set" as she claimed. I know you had a few items you were eyeing from Ginger's house -- did you get them?

No! So ... I'm actually happy to hear that that I'm not the only one! There were so many -- seven years! of amazing props. All kinds of wonderful pieces, so I wasn't sure what had happened to them. We had officially all filled out things, and thought we were going to get some treasures.

I did get a few of my costume pieces which were gems to me, but you know there were things in Ginger's house that I thought were hilarious. Everything looked like it had been stolen from Fangtasia .. which ... of course ... [thinks for a second, then laughs] Or! Maybe Ginger thinks she's borrowing them, and she brings them home and then of course she forgets. Oh, you know, stickin' stuff in her purse at the end of the night to bring it home

[I laugh] Oh, that's fantastic. OK, on to the Ginger Oddball Interview.

Have you ever seen a ghost?

[she hesitates] I have not SEEN a ghost. But I feel that I have experienced a ghost-like presence that felt 100 percent real to me. I didn't SEE something, but I felt it. I was getting ready to go to bed, and I was laying in bed, and I just felt hands on my shoulders, and I tried to get up, and I felt pushed down. There was a presence there, and I felt like maybe somebody was even sitting on top of me. It was not a good experience, it was terrifying, actually!

Tell me a pet peeve ...

Women that can't walk in high heels. If you can't walk in them don't wear them. And I MEAN it.

Tell me a bad habit you have ...

I drink way too much caffeine. Coffee. Starbucks

What's your drink of choice?

[she laughs] Just a tall coffee which is not that romantic, but I could just live on it! It's such a comfort, I'm not a big sugar person, but that to me ... coffee I just LOVE it!

Tell me about your worst job ...

Wow, I've had some REALLY bad ones ... where do I start. I handed out promos so I remember being downtown handing out yogurt samples to people. "HERE! Have a Dannon yogurt!"

Also, I am not a bartender in real life. At one point I needed a job, and a friend asked me if I could bar-tend. I said yes. So, at some point I ended up behind the bar at some event like at the Palladium, and it was a HUGE event and there were tons of people there all night long.

People were asking me to make drinks, and I didn't know what was even in them. So, I was just sort of throwing stuff together and people were complaining, and I was sort of zipping to the other end of the bar as soon as I would deliver it so somebody couldn't find me right afterward and they didn't get what they wanted. Needless to say, I was not invited back ...

2014-08-16-tarabucktaylorcolemillertruebloodginger.jpg

Tell me the strangest thing you've seen about you online ...

After that coffin scene, a friend of mine sent me me an text, "Do you know this is going around on the internet? And it is ... Ginger riding things!"

They cut out that picture and put it all over it. [she laughs] Ginger was riding Britney Spears' leg; Ginger was riding a train -- a unicorn -- hilarious -- and VERY strange.

Who is the most famous person you've ever met?

Elizabeth Taylor. I waited on Elizabeth Taylor! It was amazing ... I was so excited, and she was lovely, and she was there with somebody, and she was later in life, obviously. She was a sweet, sweet woman. She took my hand when I took her order and spoke very softly to me and looked right into my eyes, and I felt like it was an EPIC moment. And I just told her how fantastic I thought she was. Incredibly beautiful -- until the day she died I thought she was a very beautiful woman.

I have another!

I also waited on Dustin Hoffman one time, and he was with his family, and they had just gotten a brand new puppy. They brought the puppy in to the restaurant, and the puppy was underneath the table, and it was the cutest thing in the world. And they were all -- it was a nice restaurant -- so they were trying to hide the puppy but at the same time everybody was like "OH IT IS SO CUTE!" Again, he was a lovely, hilarious individual and so sweet. His family was really sweet. He's a sort of a wonderful, neurotically humorous human being.

How did you decide to be an actress?

I decided I wanted to be an actress shortly after a phase where I wanted to be in the circus. I wanted to be a ballerina. I had horses growing up, and I decided I wanted to do acrobats on horseback with my little dog (I had a rat terrier). I had worked out a routine, and I was going to take that to the circus.

BUT. Then I saw Back to the Future, and I fell madly in love with Michael J. Fox, and I decided that the only way I could meet him was to become an actress.

And did you ... meet him?

No! [she's sad] I've never met him. I sure hope he reads The Huffington Post! Tell him I'm waiting! [Tweet him, folks!]

2014-08-16-tarabuckgingertruebloodtaylorcolemiller2.jpg

What's your first memory?

I remember nursing on my mother's breast, and my brother who is two years older than me, pushing down on my head. He was very upset, trying to get into the action, and my mom was telling him that it was ... not his ... zone ... anymore [I laugh, then she does] He had to give it up! So I had to have been REALLY young ...

Tara, what's your most unusual talent?

[long pause, then with complete sincerity] I can groom an Angora rabbit. [embarrassed but laughs] I can also sheer a lamb!

[I make impressed, vocalized noises.]

Mmhmm! I love you, you're so funny, you're acting like that's so impressive!

I'm getting you work, Tara! [imitates casting director] "And she can groom an Angora rabbit ..." "Oh!! Well ... then ..."

[she laughs] "Let's bring her on!"

Tell me something that embarrassed you ...

When I just saw myself on TV ....

Also, I have a dream that I am going to be a break-dancer at some point in my life. I do have a dream that someday I'm going to get good, but right now, it's pretty embarrassing.

And do you try it out?

Oh yes [she says very seriously]. Occasionally, I try it out at a party. But at some point ... It's the same concept at being really great at pool but you don't really tell people so at the right time you just bust out your really bad-ass game of pool. I have this same idea about break dancing -- only I've tried it a few times and it's ... not so great.

Well -- you can always just scream to distract them.

[she laughs]Yes, the scream is the ultimate divergent tactic. You just scream and point to the left!

You must have so many people ask you to do the scream.

So many ...

You'll be asked to do it for the rest of your life. You know Lucy Lawless who played Xena? She gets asked to do the Xena war cry at every kind of convention there is.

I'm glad I'm not the only one -- does she do it?

She will sometimes, but it seems like it embarrasses her ...

I get embarrassed too! Because I think it's got to be the most annoying thing in the world, I mean right? You honestly want me to sit here and scream in your face?! That's so weird. It's an annoying scream! I mean ... if you ask me to scream, and I was to scream at you, it's ... really awkward for everyone. But I've had a few of those moments, by the way. [she laughs]

[Hours later, I deeply, deeply regret not asking her to scream for the recording ...]

Are you ever recognized?

People frequently say to me, "I think I recognize you, have we met before?" And I'll say, "Oh, maybe you've seen me on True Blood?" and they're always like, "Oh no, I don't have cable, I've never watched it ... You're the spitting image of my friend's cousin!"

So one day, there were these two guys who said, "This is the weirdest thing, but, does anybody ever tell you that there's an actress you look like?"

And I said, "I've heard a few [she sighs], who is it?"

"I'm hesitant to say it, I don't want you to take this the wrong way. I mean you're the younger, prettier version of ... you know that girl ... that bartender on True Blood, she works at the vampire bar?" And I was like, "I don't know how to tell you this ..."

[laughs] You didn't immediately just go [imitates Ginger's scream at a polite decibel level]

That's what I should have done! Just started screaming and ran away.

Tell me about Sunday's episode "Love is to Die" and your hilarious sex scene ...

It is definitely one of my personal favorite episodes of all seven seasons. You know, you go to bat for your character and for me personally, I do take her very seriously even though she's very funny. But, I feel like I am rooting for her! Ginger finally gets what she ... Ginger gets a victory ... Ginger is going to go out on top!

She definitely gets what she wants!

How do you feel about Ginger's story?

What I think is so cool is -- Ginger really got developed over the full series, and only because it turned out to be fun, and the fans responded to her. But otherwise, you know in the book, Ginger is mentioned a few times, and then gets her head turned around by the witches, and is toast. So, as a magical twist of fate in life, Ginger actually ended up with a wonderful story, and I LOVE that she came up with the idea of Fangtasia. I think it was really sweet.

Part of my favorite thing about what happened with Ginger was that she turned into this funny character, and I love doing comedy, and I love that there's a show like True Blood that has so many different qualities to it that you can't quite put it in a box. And there's this broad humor in sometimes Ginger seeing something that I just love.

Do you have any final thoughts to impart to the fans?

Truly I feel like Ginger kind of got to be the fan on set in the world of True Blood, and so I'm happy to say that ladies and gentleman, don't be too mad, but I'm happy I got to take one for the team!

'Grey's Anatomy' Star Jesse Williams Schools CNN On Michael Brown Case

On television, "Grey's Anatomy" actor Jesse Williams has saved lives in crisis situations. But his recent activism in the real world far outweighs the work of his on-screen alter ego.

Williams, who in February spoke out against the "criminalization of the black body," appeared on CNN's "State Of The Union" last week to discuss Michael Brown, a black teen fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, on Aug. 9.

In the clip, Williams tries to steer the national conversation away from allegations that Brown had robbed a convenience store prior to being gunned down.

"You'll find that the people doing the oppressing always want to start the narrative at a convenient part, or always want to start the story in the middle," Williams says in the clip. "This started with a kid getting shot and killed and left in the street for four hours."

The experts who also appeared on the segment nod quietly as he continues. "There's a lot of bizarre behavior going on, and that is the story, that's where we need journalism. That's where we need that element of society to kick into gear and not just keep playing a loop of what the kid may have done in a convenience store," he said, referring to video footage of the alleged robbery which Ferguson police released last week.

"This is about finding justice for a kid that was shot, an 18-year-old that was shot, period," he added.

Williams' objection to airing the robbery video calls to mind the viral #IfTheyGunnedMeDown hashtag, which trended on Twitter soon after Brown's death. The hashtag argued against the media using images that could affect the public's perception of Michael Brown -- and others like him -- by making him appear less deserving of compassion or justice than, say, a white suspect.

Williams wants us to focus on what's actually happening, what actually matters, not what's narratively convenient.

"There's a complete double standard and a complete different experience that a certain element of this country has the privilege of being treated like human beings, and the rest of us are not treated like human beings. ... That needs to be discussed, that's the story," he explains.

And if it can help stop the next black teen from being shot dead in the street, that's a story we desperately need to push for.

"I'm a recording artist, author, song-writer and actress. I'm also living with bipolar disorder," Demi Lovato admits in a new PSA.

The singer has always been refreshingly candid in sharing her personal struggles with mental illness. In an April interview with Cosmopolitan For Latinas, she talked about her childhood depression and why she felt it was important to share her story with young girls.

Now, the "Really Don't Care" singer is working with the Jed Foundation, participating in The Mental Health Listening & Engagement Tour, learning from leading mental health supporters, telling her story and helping to crush stigmas.

"I've seen some dark times, especially with the depressive phase of the illness," says Demi in the Sunovion Pharmaceuticals-sponsored video. "Bipolar depression really got my life off track. But today I'm proud to say I'm living proof that someone can live, love and be well with bipolar disorder when they get the education, support and treatment that they need."

The singer also points out:

"Our society tends to shame or ignore people with mental illness, and I want to change that too. I want people to expect more from our society and for their futures."

Well-said, Dem.

Don Pardo, television and radio announcer best known as the voice of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," died on Monday, August 18 in Tucson, Ariz., his daughter and an NBC representative confirmed.

Cause of death has not been released at this time, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Pardo's long career in radio began in 1938, with a Rhode Island NBC affiliate. In 1944 he ended up with a job offer at NBC's main network while touring the New York headquarters.

He made the move to television as NBC experimented with the new medium, announcing for variety and game shows, including "The Price Is Right." When "The Price Is Right" left NBC, Pardo moved to another game show that would prove wildly successful, "Jeopardy!" As the original "Jeopardy!" came to an end, he was approached by Lorne Michaels for his new sketch comedy program, "Saturday Night Live." At that point, Pardo had been with the network for more than three decades; he would serve as the announcer for "SNL" for nearly 40 years.

Although Pardo officially retired from NBC in 2004, he would continue to announce the network's renowned sketch comedy show through its most recent season. In recent years, he had been recording episodes from his home in Tucson, according to the Associated Press.

Lorne Michaels once said, "I can’t imagine the show without [Don]," and, "and as long as he’s there, I stay young."

Former "SNL" cast member and host of "The Tonight Show" Jimmy Fallon said of Pardo, "Nothing is like the moment when Don Pardo says your name."

His authoritative voice helped him become one of the first announcers inducted into the Television Academy Hall Of Fame.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that his voice was one of the first to report that President John F. Kennedy had been shot , breaking into programming on on Nov. 22, 1963 to report, "President Kennedy was shot today just as his motorcade left downtown Dallas. Mrs. Kennedy jumped up and grabbed Mr. Kennedy. She cried, 'Oh, no.'"

Born Dominick Pardo on Feb. 22, 1918, in Westfield, Mass., his booming voice and affinity for entertaining came early in life, through public speaking and school theater. While he became best known for his announcing of "SNL," his career was diverse, ranging from war reporting to sports, news and advertising, the Associated Press reports.
