Katy Perry may be the best boss ever.

According to a report in the Daily Star, the singer dropped over half a million dollars on new cars for her five assistants. (Apparently, international superstardom requires a lot of planning and errands.)

Reportedly, the 29–year–old invested in five Fisker Karmas, each with a price tag of over $100,000. The sporty four–door sedans will help the star implement a greener lifestyle.

"They are completely electric and top of the range in car luxury but she hates the smog in the air in LA. In total she spent over half a million dollars on the cars and now her conscience is clean," a friend of Perry reportedly told the Daily Star.

The Huffington Post has reached out to Katy Perry's rep for a statement regarding the purchase.

"American Dream Builders" host Nate Berkus spoke at length about his forthcoming wedding to fiancé Jeremiah Brent as well as the couple's groundbreaking Banana Republic campaign in a new HuffPost Live interview this week.

"We're both really happy," Berkus said of his relationship with Brent. As for planning the wedding, which is currently set for May, he added, "It's been great just understanding more about each other as we go through this process and we're both really excited."

As for his decision to join Brent in Banana Republic's "True Outfitters" campaign, which featured models who are also real-life couples, Berkus said, "When we did that, we didn't realize it was such a meaningful political moment. The fact that they choose us ... is really incredible."

Berkus popped the question to Brent in April 2013 while visiting Peru's Machu Picchu.

Angus T. Jones Sticks By His Words Against 'Two And A Half Men'

"Two and a Half Men" has built quite a reputation for unceremoniously losing its leading actors, but unlike the infamous Charlie Sheen, former star Angus T. Jones isn't asking for his job back.

Jones, who used to play the show's young character Jake, and who has since joined the Seventh-Day Adventist church, announced in 2012 that he thought the series was "filth" and stated outright that he did not want to be on the show. "You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that," he said. In the video, Jones also implored viewers to quit watching "Two and a Half Men."

After the remarks went public, Jones' character was demoted from a main to a supporting role, and he saw less and less air time; Jones' character has not been featured in any episodes yet this season. The 19-year-old actor is currently attending school in Colorado and focusing on his Christian faith.

Now, Jones is speaking up about the show once again, and standing by his original words. In an interview with Houston's KHOU, Jones stated why he was so unhappy with his role on the show. "It was making light of topics in our world that are really problems for a lot of people, and I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't okay with it, but I was still doing it," he said.

Those harsh words aside, Jones did admit that he could have been a little nicer with his original remarks because the show is so important to its creator, Chuck Lorre. "That's his, like, baby, and I just totally insulted his baby and to that degree I am apologetic," he stated, "but otherwise I don't regret saying what I said."

Jones may be done with "Two and a Half Men," but he has not necessarily left the acting spotlight altogether. He told KHOU that he would be interested in pursuing productions with religious themes and "Bible-based stories."

Katy Perry Is Still Confused By Feminism, Despite Her Best Efforts

Katy Perry is making progress, but a new interview with Australian morning show "I Wake Up With Today" proves she still hasn't completely figured out what constitutes feminism.

Like many other celebrities, Perry has never really been clear on the definition or comfortable calling herself the F-word. Back in 2012, she told Billboard magazine, "I am not a feminist, but I do believe in the strength of women." Flash forward two years later to March 16, 2014 when host Karl Stefanovic asked Perry if she considers herself a feminist, with the pop star giving a slightly different response.

"A feminist? Uh, yeah, actually," she said. "I used to not really understand what that word meant, and now that I do, it just means that I love myself as a female and I also love men."

Uh, Katy? It's great that you feel that way, but that's not what the word feminism means. We know you're trying so we're going to help you out. HuffPost's Social Community Editor Rebecca Searles created this handy guide back in 2013 that not only explains the concept of feminism, but will help you figure out if you're a feminist in two easy steps:

Future's 'Good Morning' Is Either The Original 'Drunk In Love' Or A Cool Cover Or What?

At this year's South By Southwest, Future headlined a day of music festivities for Spin at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, Texas. During the show, Future performed an unreleased track that he called "Good Morning," but Beyonce fans might call "The Song That's Like 'Drunk in Love.'"

"I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail. We were working on 'Drunk In Love,'" Future said at the concert. "We started working on this other record at the same time, and then once 'Drunk in Love' came out it pushed this song to the side. At the same time, it's one of my favorite songs that didn't make the album."

So, what gives? Was "Good Morning" the original "Drunk in Love," or vice versa? BuzzFeed speculates the tracks could be connected (both were produced by Noel "Details" Fisher), but notes Future's representative told the site he had nothing to do with "Drunk in Love." At Fuse, "Good Morning" is described as taking a "sample" from "Drunk in Love." Mystery! Watch above to come up with your own conspiracy theories, and here's Beyonce's "Drunk in Love," because cigars on ice.

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we dusted off our VHS copy of the 1993 so-bad-it's-good thriller, "Leprechaun," starring one Jennifer Aniston.

In the horror film, Aniston, who was 24 at the time of the "Leprechaun" release, plays a teenager named Tory who spends the summer in South Dakota with her father. She soon finds out that an evil, perverted leprechaun is living in her basement, mainly because he keeps creeping her out:

Then she goes into total badass mode and tries to shoot the little demon:

Clearly, Aniston has come a long way since her days as a leprechaun slayer, but hey, we all start somewhere.

Solange Knowles Opens Up About Her Love Life

Solange Knowles -- Beyonce's equally cool younger sister -- is getting real about her personal life.

In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, the 27-year-old singer and style star opens up about the types of guys she dated in the past before eventually finding love with video director Alan Ferguson.

"Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago. My love life has been stable for a while," Knowles said, before dishing on how those earlier relationship missteps have influenced her music. "It's a f*cked-up thing -- without conflict it's a lot harder to write interesting songs."

Knowles, who launched her own music label, Saint Records, last November, also addresses her 2006 divorce from high school sweetheart Daniel Smith, with whom she has a nine-year-old son.

"In a lot of ways, emotionally and mentally, I feel far older than 27," she told the magazine. "Just going through a marriage and a divorce -- which I essentially did by 21 -- will give you an insane amount of perspective on life."

Today, Knowles's relationship with Smith remains as friendly as ever. "We co-parent really well," she said. "I'm able to say, 'I need to finish this album, can you step up and take care of the boy?"

If only all celebrity exes could be this amicable.

Hacker Sentenced For Extorting Miss Teen USA Winner

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California computer science student has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for hacking the computers of a future Miss Teen USA and other young women to try to force them to send nude photographs or undress on camera for him.

Nineteen-year-old Jared James Abrahams pleaded guilty in November to three counts of extortion and one count of unauthorized access of a computer. The Temecula resident was sentenced Monday by a federal judge in Orange County judge.

Authorities say Abrahams hacked into the computers of several women, including Cassidy Wolf, who won the teen crown last August. Authorities say he was then able to control the webcams and surreptitiously photograph them.

Abrahams and Wolf went to high school together.

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus Should Get a Do-Over

I hesitate to give celebrities even more attention than the obscene amount they already receive, but I feel the need to comment on the folly that is Justin Bieber. The deposition video released last week, in which the Biebs presents his best impression of a sassy, arrogant little butthole, has saturated the Internet. I bring it up not to talk about how douchey the Biebs acts in the video (very douchey) or to discuss how tragic childhood fame can be (very tragic), but to discuss more of a large-scale issue with celebrity culture -- specifically, celebrity music culture. Through all the mug shot, DUI, sex tape scandal bullshit that artists go through, there is some serious talent that is not only being overlooked, but actually being diminished.

I don't think many people realize that Justin Bieber actually does have talent. It doesn't matter if you hate his music with a fiery passion, he possesses musical talent in the most fundamental sense of the term. He sings well, he can play several instruments, and he can write lyrics and music that resonate with a large group of people. Regardless of what he's produced as a musician, the fact is that the potential is (or was) there but is quickly overlooked when he appears on camera with a smug grin saying things like, "I don't have to listen to you."

I think his behavior as of late is the result of many things: the pressure of fame at a young age, the fear of judgement and ridicule, and the fact that he is a sassy little brat that needs to be put in timeout. With all of this working against him, no one is talking about, thinking about, or celebrating him as an artist. He has become a ridiculous joke.

Also in the news of the same genre and (let's be honest) the same look, Miss Billy Ray Jr. herself, Miley Cyrus. Did the recent Miley news story discuss her talent as an artist or how great her latest song is? Of course not. It was about a "wardrobe malfunction" during her latest tour stop in which she had no time to change into one of her costumes and so proceeded to perform the next song in only her bra and panties. As you're probably thinking, this was not much different from her intended attire anyways, but Miss Miley took to Twitter afterwards to explain the incident, which is ironically what caused it to be an incident to begin with.

Again, it doesn't matter how terrible you think her music is, Miley does have talent as a vocalist. Her cover of Lana Del Ray's "Summertime Sadness" on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge definitely proved that for me. But she's not appreciated or celebrated as a legitimate artist in any regard. She puts on a shocking spectacle for the public, just as the Biebs does, and it erases the possibility of legitimate musical talent from our minds. The way our society treats celebrities is to blame for this, just as much as their own absurd behavior is to blame. I see it as a two-way street where both sides are losing and missing out on the potential for great music.

As hipster/indie culture becomes more absorbed by the mainstream, it seems the music typically classified as pop music has ironically become more and more unpopular. I think this has a lot to do with the extravagance and the gimmicks that have come to be associated with popular music, on an artist level as well as an industry level. Sometimes the showiness is intentional and is a necessary part of the art itself. But sometimes it completely detracts from the real, raw talent. And isn't it the talent that makes music what it is? Maybe it's never truly existed, but I wish we could find a way back to that simplicity. To the place where talent and artistry is celebrated first, and the gimmicks take a back seat. I'd like to see a pop music industry that looks like that.

Lars von Trier's "Nymphomaniac" was split into two parts for general audiences. "Volume 1" is out now via on-demand services and in limited release in theaters on March 21. It's wild. ("It made me blush," co-star Uma Thurman told HuffPost Entertainment about the film's sex scenes, which she witnessed on set.) "Volume 2," of course, comes next: it's available through VOD beginning on March 20, with a theatrical release set for April 4. Hulu debuted the film's new trailer on Tuesday, and it's kind of off-putting and bizarre and funny and weird in that way only von Trier can do. Watch below. (It's pretty suitable for work, all things considered.)

'Teen Wolf' Star Explains Why She Decided To Leave The Show

MTV shocked "Teen Wolf" fans when the show killed off one of its main characters on Monday, March 17.

Beware of spoilers ahead!

Badass arrow-wielding Allison Argent was the show's latest victim when she sustained a fatal sword wounds at Oni's hands. In a heartbreaking scene, she called Scott "my first love" and bled out in his arms.

Crystal Reed, who played Argent for three seasons, told EW that it was her decision to leave the show. "I cannot be more grateful for what the show has given me,” she said. “It’s given me such a platform to be a role model, to be seen, to be heard and, actually, from the beginning, I’ve grown into a woman from the show -- from beginning to end -- and I think that was the biggest motivating factor for me to leave. I feel that there’s nothing more that I can give to this character.”

The 29-year-old also noted that she was ready to move past "Teen Wolf." "I think the age difference was something I wanted to change as well because she's 17," she said. Reed said she doesn't have any future projects in the works at the moment, but is looking for something where she can "tell a great story."

Allison's death shook the Twitterverse and "#RIPAllison" began trending after the show aired. MTV asked fans to share their memories of Allison online, prompting an outpouring from viewers.

Woof. What an episode.

Vicente Fernández, the “King of Rancheras,” is about to temporarily set aside his crown to venture into a new musical genre: tango.

The Mexican crooner will release “Mano a Mano, Tangos a la Manera de Vicente Fernández” this month, according to news service Notimex.

Fernández, 74, spent a year working on the project as director and producer. According to Spanish-language daily La Opinión, the record will include 12 tracks that include hits by tango’s biggest names like Carlos Gardel, Mercedes Simone, José María Contursi, Alfredo Le Pera, Marianito Mores and Enrique Santos Discépolo, among others.

The first single off the album, “Mano a Mano,” debuted via radio on Monday while the rest of the record will be available digitally on March 24 and in stores on March 29.

“Chente” gave each rendition his own personal mariachi touch, but kept the signature sound of the bandoneón, an essential instrument in tango.

In 2012, Fernández embarked on his farewell tour to give fans one last chance to see him perform live. The singer canceled shows during the tour due to a small lump in his liver which required surgery.
