Jamie Foxx Wishes Fans A Happy Kwanzaa

On Thursday (Dec. 26), Jamie Foxx posted a photo of himself in African clothing with the caption "Happy Kwanzaa!" Yesterday marked the first day of the celebration that lasts for seven — each day and corresponding candle represent a unique value of importance to African Americans.

While many celebrities have been using social media to wish their followers happy holidays and New Year, few have mentioned Kwanzaa. However, many are known to celebrate the cultural holiday, including Oprah, Maya Angelou, and Angelina Jolie.

25 Things You Wish You Hadn't Learned In 2013 And Must Forget In 2014

$

2013 will be noted for a number of positive, enlightening and informative moments that took place across the cultural spectrum. People discovered, spoke truth to power and risked their lives to get information to the public. But there was also a poop cruise, outrage over butt-shaking and E-list celebrities clinging to fame by doing porn.

You were alright, 2013, but we could have gone without learning ...

1. What happens to CNN when it finds a stranded cruise ship filled with poop.

A Carnival Cruise ship sailing in the Caribbean lost power and was stranded for four days. The 4,000-plus passengers reportedly backed up toilets, causing human waste to flood cabins. CNN covered the story pretty much non-stop, getting every feces-encrusted detail it could from the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. The wall-to-wall "poop cruise" reporting ended up being lampooned by "The Daily Show."

2. People aren't afraid to announce how much they suck, even at funerals.

The selfie was huge in 2013. So much so that funeral selfies became a thing. Our prediction: Selfies will one day be the No. 1 cause of ruined reputations.

3. We're still only one giant space rock away from the end of humanity.

Back in February, a large meteor streaked across the sky and exploded above Russia (because where else?), again reminding us that a bigger asteroid might just end our civilization someday. This is not news -- an asteroid could destroy the Earth and there's really nothing we can do about it, yeah, yeah -- but it's something we'd love not to have rubbed in our faces. Or maybe we'd just love to believe that Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck have it taken care of -- "Armageddon"-style. Either way, LA LA LA, not listening!

4. People are still paying insane amounts of money for paint on canvas.

In November, an art collector paid $142.4 million for a series of paintings by Francis Bacon, which depicted Bacon's friend sitting on a wood chair. Art can be a beautiful thing, emotional and transformative. And purchasing art can be not only a great way to support artists, but also a lasting commodity. At a certain point, however, it is still paint on canvas that can be inexpensively replicated into a really snazzy print.

5. We have at least a full lifetime of British royalty media coverage to come.

If you thought the news cycle was too rife with coverage of the British royals, you probably shook your head when Prince William married the beautiful Kate Middleton. And then this year, the couple had an adorable baby boy, George, who is third in line to someday become king. Get comfy, America, no doubt we'll be hearing about this for a while.

6. Santa and Jesus are both apparently white.

Oh, you didn't hear? Fox News' Megyn Kelly was going for maximum coal this year when she criticized a columnist for suggesting Santa could be black. "For all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white," said Kelly. "Jesus was a white man, too." Beyond being factually wrong, this was just a stupid fight to pick.

7. The nation cares more about a young woman shaking her butt than it does about anything else.

When pop star Miley Cyrus twerked at the MTV Video Music Awards, the nation flipped a collective shit. A onetime child star dancing with her butt near the crotch of an older entertainer, while both sang songs with lyrics about things far worse than what was playing out on stage?! Some called the routine obscene, others called it racist, but pretty much everyone in the nation called it something.

Then she released her new single "Wrecking Ball" along with its video, and the nation found something else to be temporarily obsessed with.

8. Anthony Weiner still loves to sext.

Just when we thought we had forgotten about the 2011 sexting scandal, Anthony Weiner struck again in 2013 during his campaign for New York City mayor. This time, the former New York congressman sent explicit text messages and photos to Sydney Leathers, an Indiana woman with a borderline obsession with Weiner. And because we apparently needed proof that this liaison did, in fact, take place, Weiner dick pics were unfortunately released on the internet. And Leathers' 15 minutes eventually led to -- wait for it -- her starring in a porn flick parodying the sorta-sex scandal.

9. Over-exposed teen moms will take pretty much every bad opportunity they are offered.

Farrah Abraham, former star of the MTV show "16 And Pregnant" as well as the subsequent "Teen Mom," made headlines this year when she decided to star in porn. Abraham claimed it was a personal sex tape and she never wanted it released. Well, that makes all of us.

10. Drug addiction and desperation cause people to do unimaginably violent things their bodies.

Krokodil, a drug made by cutting prescription painkillers with caustic agents like gasoline or acid, made its way from the slums of Russia to the U.S., bringing along with it reports and photos of melted flesh and bone. We've long known that these are consequences of addiction and abject poverty, but we've traditionally been spared the gory details.

11. The government still doesn't know how to use the internet.

The rollout of the Obamacare website was pretty awful. Healthcare.gov, the site uninsured people were expected to use to get soon-to-be mandatory health insurance, managed to work terribly -- in an era when 10-year-olds can program apps.

12. If you combine two food words, people will stand in line forever to eat it.

In New York, this was the summer of the cronut. It’s not croissant, it’s not a donut, it’s a moist, buttery reason to stand in line for two hours.

13. Nothing can stop cockroaches.

A new species of cockroach is living in Manhattan -- they like the cold and winter is coming.

A pair of Rutgers scientists discovered an Asian species of cockroach making its home in New York City. Though they say the species will likely not mate with other roaches, the invasive bugs will compete for food and will -- most concerning to all residents of the Big Apple -- survive the cold weather.

14. You can become a folk hero by killing an unarmed teenage boy.

The George Zimmerman saga continues in 2013. After being found innocent last year in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman became a hero for conservatives -- many of whom maintained that Martin was at fault and that the media had unfairly targeted Zimmerman. A poll taken after his acquittal found that Zimmerman was more popular than Obama. If we needed further evidence of his folk-hero status, Zimmerman recently sold a "patriotic" painting for more than $100,000 on eBay.

Zimmerman has also been involved in a handful of police incidents after his trial, none of which have led to lasting criminal charges, even though his wife has admitted she should have pressed them.

15. Dying could be even more terrifying than we thought.

According to Stony Brook University Hospital Dr. Sam Parnia, the evidence so far shows that consciousness does not end when the human body dies. "If I were to die this instant, the cells inside my body wouldn’t have died yet," says Parnia. "We have a longer period of time than people perceive." So, there you have it. If you die in the clinical sense, you may still be conscious enough to sit back as it unfolds around you, unable to do anything about it. ... Yay.

16. Dinosaur erotica is a thing that exists.

“A reptilian tongue, stiff and hot, dashed out to lick at the tender, naked flesh so suddenly exposed.” Okay, that’s all, move along.

dinosaur erotica

17. People still think Halloween is an excuse to be horribly racist and insensitive.

We won't put the pictures here, but yes, two assholes thought George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin would be a fun couples costume. Someone else dressed up as a Boston bombing victim. Seriously, stop.

18. Daft Punk isn't actually just two music-making robots.

Electronic music duo Daft Punk was caught sans robo-helmets at a small party, playing champagne pong. So the two aren't aliens or cyborgs like we all hoped. And like the mysterious Big Foot, the photo of them is also rather blurry.

19. The Motorola RAZR is in a museum.

So, yeah ... damn, we got old fast.

20. Justin Bieber will be representing the Earth in space.

This summer, pop star Justin Bieber and his manager put up the $250,000 deposit to be a part of the first commercial space flights by Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic. Thanks for rubbing it in our faces. And if any aliens are reading this, do what you wish with him, but he’s not Earth's best representative.

21. People freak out way more over TV deaths than they do over ones in the world we actually live in.

If you stood outside on the night "Game of Thrones" aired the “Red Wedding” episode, you may have heard screams of anguish, shock, or perhaps just a colossal thud -- the result of jaws across the country simultaneously crashing to the floor. Meanwhile, catastrophic violence in Iraq is so regular that it's become easy to ignore.

22. When government officials smoke crack, they get bobbleheads instead of jail.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford exploded onto the scene after a photo (captured from video) was released purportedly showing him smoking crack. Ford denied it repeatedly until November, when he finally admitted to having used the drug before.

Much of his staff has quit or resigned, and despite calls for his own resignation -- and the suspension of his mayoral powers -- Ford still refuses to step down. The internet seems to have forgotten almost completely about his original transgression (and prior controversies), and has instead embraced him as one of the web's reoccurring characters. Now we have Ford bobbleheads, or "Robbie Bobbies," and a plethora of GIFs documenting Ford's goofy antics.

23. Some people need to be reminded that it's not okay to say someone deserves to have their mouth pooped in.

In November, following former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's comments likening our national debt to slavery, MSNBC host Martin Bashir lambasted Palin and told the story of a famously cruel plantation owner named Thomas Thistlewood who would often make slaves defecate into each others' mouths. Bashir then proposed that Palin might benefit from having someone shit in her mouth. Bashir resigned from his post a week later.

24. Some ad men don't do underwear.

This year has been a busy one for "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm's privates. Apparently he's very blessed south of the border, and he, or those who examine photographs of him, really want you to know that. Hamm says he wants people to stop talking about his loins, but it might help if he'd put on some underwear.

25. Al Roker sharted at the White House.

In his book Never Goin' Back, "Today" co-host Al Roker revealed that his bowels were less than fortified during a 2002 trip to the White House. Roker told the world this year that an attempt to pass a little gas had led to something much worse.

"I pooped my pants," said Roker in a interview with "Dateline." Roker had gastric bypass only a month before the visit and was suffering from what's known as dumping syndrome, where food from the stomach moves too quickly into the small bowel. Honestly, we could have happily gone without ever knowing that dingleberry of knowledge, just like we could have gone without Roker telling us that he simply dipped into the nearest bathroom, removed his soiled undies, and enjoyed the rest of his White House visit commando.

Backlash Over '12 Years A Slave' Posters With White Actors Ends With Apology

$

An Italian distributor has apologized for "12 Years A Slave" posters featuring enlarged images of white actors alongside a small image of the film's black star.

Photos of the Italian posters spread on social networks earlier this week. The ads showed white actors like Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender featured prominently in the artwork, while the star, black actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, was featured secondarily in a lower corner. Although Ejifor has already received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Solomon Northup, a freeman kidnapped and forced into slavery in the 1800s, Pitt -- who is credited as a producer -- only has a small role in the flick.

Many criticized the juxtaposition.

BIM Distribuzine, the Italian distributor of the film, has recalled the posters ahead of Italy's February release of "12 Years A Slave" and issued an apology Thursday, according to TheWrap.

“We apologize for creating and releasing unauthorized posters for ’12 Years A Slave’ in Italy featuring Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender in a manner inconsistent with approved advertising materials," BIM Distribuzine said. "All inappropriate materials have now been withdrawn. We are very proud of the film and regret any distraction this incident may have caused.”

Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment was behind the international marketing of the film and issued its own response to Variety earlier in the week. The company said the ads were "unauthorized and were not approved by any of the producers or licensors of the film."

"12 Years A Slave," which hit theaters in the United States in November, will be released in Italy Feb. 20.

Selena Gomez Reportedly Battling Lupus, Taking Time Off To Deal With Health Concerns

When Selena Gomez announced that she was canceling the Asian and Australian leg of her tour to take some time for herself, rumors that the singer was rehab-bound after suffering a breakdown began buzzing. But according to a new report, the "me time" Gomez is seeking is to deal with the fact she's suffering from Lupus.

Sources told Popdust that the 21-year-old singer was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease a couple of years ago, and suffered multiple "flares" recently, that cause facial swelling, extreme fatigue, headaches and joint pain.

“Selena has been going full throttle the past few years and her Lupus is really catching up with her right now,” a source told the website. “She knows that she needs to take some time to address the disease and look after herself better if she wants to live a full and healthy life."

A rep for the singer told the Huffington Post "no comment" when asked if Gomez was suffering from the disease. However, when rehab rumors first started a source denied the reports to E! News, but made mention of the singer's health concerns:

"She is not having a breakdown. She wants to be the healthiest that she can be and this means taking a little break. But she is fine. She is OK."

The Best Comments About The Terror Of Seeing 'The Exorcist'

On Thursday, we celebrated 40 terrifying years of "The Exorcist." The iconic horror movie opened on Dec. 26, 1973, frightening legions of moviegoers who were rendered unable to sleep with their lights off. The comments section on our retrospective lit up with memories of cowering in dark movie theaters and worrying about the presence of lingering demonic forces. We've compiled some of the best reminiscences about the classic movie and the visceral responses it provoked.

the exorcist

I saw the movie at the Cinerama Dome on Sunset Blvd. (don't think its there anymore) stood in line with my cousin, and we each dropped a tab of orange sunshine while we waited and then when in to watch the movie. It was so scary that we stayed up all night watching each others backs LOL those were the days. -- Rod P.

Saw it in February of 1974 at the Paris Theater in NYC ... extremely scary for the times ... people got up and left crying ... someone fainted ... great book to read too -- Doug S.

We were around 14 years old when this came out. My friend started swearing his bed was lifting up in the night after we saw this.... It messed us up for months! -- Larry K.

I saw The Exorcist at a late night screening and when I got home and finally fell asleep, one of the bed springs shot up through the mattress and scratched me. I slept on the couch the rest of the night after first jumping several feet into the air. -- Emma B.

Shortly after "The Exorcist" was released, William Friedkin came to WVU (where I was a student) for a talk and showed a few scenes from the movie and explained how the effects were created. The next day, I saw the film in a theatre for the first time. And even though I knew the "secrets" behind some of the effects, the movie still scared the living bejeebus out of me! Repeatedly! Then I didn't see the movie again until the director's cut (with the "spider walk" scene) -- and the movie scared the crap out of me again! It really is the scariest movie I've ever seen. -- Hank T.

To me, it's still the scariest movie of all time. It was one of those movies that stayed with you when you left the theater. I remember seeing it and having my eyes closed through much of it. After seeing it, whenever I heard that song on the radio, I think it was called Tubular Bells, it gave me chills. -- Debra Moreland

I recall watching this for the first time when I was about 12 years old. My mother seriously sat me down and warned me that it would be disturbing. I thought she was overreacting. Boy was I wrong. -- Shane C.

I saw it first in The Rialto Theater in Peoria, Illinois in 1974. 40 years later, I've seen them all and nothing else comes close to Exorcist in sheer terror. The only time I got a major shock again (after Exorcist) was in 'Alien' years later at the exact moment actor John Hurt gives bloody birth to the alien creature through his chest (the girl in the next seat jumped into my lap screaming!) Even the final scene in Stephen King's 'Carrie' where a bloody hand jerks out of a grave to snatch flowers from a kneeling mourner, and everybody in the theater was screaming -- all these take a back seat to the creeping horror visited on us by Bill Friedkin and Peter Blatty. They got everything right, and it still resounds to this day. -- Frank Okolo

My Mother took my brother and I to see it in a Manhattan theatre. We took the No# 2 subway train from the Bronx into Manhattan. I was terrorifed going home after seeing that subway line was featured in the movie. The scene when "the homeless man asked The Priest for a handout because he was an old alter boy"! One for the record books as the scarest movie of all times. -- Ronald C.

I remember seeing that movie I had my ears plugged and my eyes closed I think I was 10 my brother took me he was laughing I was terrified and crying to this day I can't watch it. -- Sherry V.

As a horror movie buff all my long life, I have seen them all, and I don't scare easily. Nothing scared me as much as the Exorcist when I saw it the night it was released. I was 22, and went home after the movie and closed all the drapes in the house--convinced that something might be on the other side looking in. The Exorcist was, and is, a terrific movie and will still scare the hell out of you. -- Aodhan R.

When my 25 year old mother and her infinite wisdom decided it was good idea to take her seven year old catholic son to see this movie she couldn't sleep for weeks because he would let her... After that, he was never the same and kept referring to himself in the third person... -- Sean T.

How Lena Dunham Learned To Stop Apologizing For Taking Up Space

Whether it's taking up a seat and a half on a subway car, draping an arm across the chair beside them or putting their feet up on a desk at work, men often seem to take up more space than woman do. But one (fictional) woman who never seems to be afraid of owning her personal space is "Girls" protagonist Hannah Horvath, played by show creator Lena Dunham.

Dunham recently sat down with Salon writer Alice Driver to discuss the upcoming premiere of "Girls" season three. During the interview, Driver asked Dunham what about her upbringing made the actress feel empowered to take up space in a way that many women often do not, a subject that has already been explored this year by slam poet Lily Myers and the Tumblr "Men Taking Up Too Much Space On The Train."

Dunham explained that it was her changing teenage body that forced her to feel unapologetic when taking up space. She told Driver:
You know, it’s funny, I think part of inquiry into that kind of stuff started when I entered high school and went from being a really tiny kid to a chubby teenager and had to figure out how to handle that shift in my body. It’s interesting because I was looking at that transition and trying to figure out how to deal with my new body. It’s funny, I don’t know, maybe it’s a selfishness thing, but when there are only a few chairs or something, I’m never the person who is like, “I’ll stand.” I always sit down, because I prize comfort highly.

She also spoke about this spatial sensibility as it informs the way that she plays the character of Hannah in "Girls." "[Hannah] tries to be really aware of social aspects but fails," Dunham told Salon. "In that space between trying and succeeding is the comedy of using your body too broadly or knocking into things. I’m also really spatially unaware as a person."

Thank goodness for that. We can't imagine the beloved, often unlikeable, wholly frustrating Hannah Horvath any other way.

Head over to Salon to read Driver's full interview with Dunham.

The holidays may be a wholesome time of year, but TLC has a little something to spice up your week.

The network is premiering its new series "Sex Sent Me To The ER" this Saturday (Dec. 28). And from the looks of the promo above, we can expect quite a bit of drama from those who land in the ER due to sex ... and those who send them there.

One storyline viewers can get excited about -- depending on your definition of excitement, of course -- is a 440-pound virgin, Gregg Casarona, who sends his girlfriend to the ER during the show's premiere episode.

“My initial reaction was, 'I killed her,'" Casarona told The New York Post last week. Luckily, he didn't -- but his girlfriend did wind up in the hospital.

"Sex Sent Me To The ER" premieres on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.

Paris Hilton Says She's One Of The World's Top 5 DJs

Somehow over the last few years, Paris Hilton has grown from a reality star to an actual DJ. What's more, the heiress tells TMZ that her new–found career has proven incredibly successful.

Asked how lucrative her DJing is, Hilton casually responded, "I'm one of the top 5 in the world, so…"

Hilton reportedly makes between $100,000 and $350,000 for each of her live DJ sets, so her claim isn't implausible. The 32-year-old spent this summer playing weekly gigs at the Amnesia nightclub's "Foam and Diamonds" parties, and has been contracted to do the same in 2014. TMZ reported that Hilton's sets drew in massive crowds and helped the star to prove that she could hold her own in the growing electronic music scene.

Additionally, the famous blonde signed on with record label Cash Money earlier this year and plans to release an album in the near future.

The Daily Mail crunched some numbers to see how Hilton really stacked up to the competition:

…she would still have to be doing a lot of gigging to break into the prestigious top five, which features Harris in first place with $46 million, Tiesto in second with $32m, David Guetta in third with $30m, Swedish House Mafia in fourth with $25m, and finally Canadian duo Deadmau5 at $21 million.

Anyone curious enough to want to witness Hilton's skills for themselves can catch her spinning on New Year's Eve, as she performs a live set at Hyde in Las Vegas's Bellagio Hotel.

Renee Zellweger, that you, girl? The 44-year-old actress went super casual while dining with her parents Emil and Kjellfrid Zellweger in Santa Monica, Calif., on Thursday (Dec. 26). (The half-up, half-down hairdo is an apparent fave, judging from the same hairstyle Zellweger wore back in November).

Zellweger has remained relatively out of the spotlight since starring in 2010's "My Own Love Song," though fans of the actress have been putting up her name for bid ever since Helen Fielding released a third Bridget Jones book, "Mad About A Boy," in October.

Meanwhile, Zellweger has been spotted hitting town with her new beau, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, whom she has been dating since at least last December.

First Look At 'Gone Girl' Shows Ben Affleck As Nick Dunne

Twentieth Century Fox offered up a first look of "Gone Girl" for fans, featuring leading man Ben Affleck.

The movie studio tweeted out a photo of Affleck on the set of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's fictional thriller. In the shot, Affleck can be seen portraying Nick Dunne, a man in a rocky marriage whose life implodes when his wife goes missing and he becomes a suspect for murder.

Dressed in a blazer and button down, he stands on stage beside a "missing" poster of his wife, Amy, played by actress Rosamund Pike.

Last month, the Oscar-winning actor told Entertainment Weekly that David Fincher's adaptation of Flynn's novel is on-point.

“I don’t want to give away too much, because if you know the book, you know that there are set of reveals that you would want to maintain the integrity of,” Affleck said. “But I will say that Gillian adapted it and I think it’s very, very faithful to her book. If you read the book and liked it, you will definitely like the movie.”

The film is set to hit theaters Oct. 3, 2014.

Are Keri Russell And Matthew Rhys An Item? Co-stars Reportedly Spotted As A Couple

Could a small screen romance turn into real life love? That might be the case for "The Americans" co-stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys.

Earlier this month, news broke that Russell and her husband of almost seven years, Shane Deary, split. "They have been separated since early summer," the actress' rep told People magazine at the time. "The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children." They have a son, 6, and a daughter, 2.

Now People reports that Russell has moved on with her FX co-star, Rhys, and that the two were spotted shopping around her New York neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights before Christmas. "They looked very much like a couple," a source told the magazine. "They were laughing and walking closely together."

A request for comment made to Russell's reps was not immediately answered.

Russell, 39, has spoken about being married to someone outside the spotlight and admitted the celebrity lifestyle takes getting used to. "[I] think it's good that it makes him uncomfortable. I think anyone who is too comfortable with all this stuff is strange," the actress told TV Guide in 2007. "It's normal that he's uncomfortable. Like, if someone takes our picture on the street, I tell him, 'Act however you want to act. It's uncomfortable; you can look uncomfortable.'"

Alan Robertson Says Family Is 'Emboldened' By 'Duck Dynasty' Supporters

Alan Robertson, a preacher and the eldest brother of the "Duck Dynasty" clan, says his family is "encouraged and emboldened" by the support they have received following controversy over patriarch Phil Robertson's anti-gay statements.

Phil Robertson made headlines ten days ago after GQ published an interview in which he compared homosexuality to bestiality and said being gay is a sin. Along with those homophobic comments, he also claimed black people were "happy" and "singing" in Louisiana during the Jim Crow era.

The 67-year-old was initially suspended from the hit reality series for his remarks. Following this move, more than 260,000 supporters signed the "#IStandWithPhil" petition created by Faith Driven Consumer. On Friday, A&E announced Phil Robertson's suspension had been lifted. The network explained the show is not about "one man's views," but rather about "a family America has come to love."

Alan Robertson responded to the decision to lift the ban in a statement to E! News Friday, crediting "Duck Dynasty" fans for their support.

"Our family has become even closer through the past 9 days and we are excited to keep making a quality tv show for our dedicated fans, who have showed us wonderful support," he said. "We will continue to represent our faith and values in the most positive way through 'Duck Dynasty' and our many projects that we are currently working on. The outpouring of support and prayer has encouraged and emboldened us greatly."

Cultural conservatives are using the incident as a barometer to measure "true tolerance."

Chris Stone, founder of Faith Driven Consumer, told CNN he and other "Duck" supporters will "remain vigilant as we measure whether A&E's actions reflect true tolerance, diversity, and mutual respect -- including their equal embrace of our biblically based values and deeply held beliefs."

Alan Robertson previously cracked jokes about the controversy, TMZ noted, at a church service on Sunday, Dec. 22.

Drake Releases 'We Made It' Freestyle Over Soulja Boy Track

Early this morning (Dec. 28), Drake tweeted a soundcloud link to his new freestyle, "We Made It," with the text "New Years Anthems on deck."

"We Made It" is a remix of a track off of Soulja Boy's recent mixtape, "The King." Listen below.

A little while ago, Drake announced that he would be releasing four or five tracks before the year's end. "We Made It" is not your typical Drake track, reminiscent of the flow and braggadocio found on his "Versace" verse. While remixing a Soulja Boy track is risky business, the banger beat is sure to find its way into club playlists.

Drake followed the release by tweeting that "Trophies," the instrumental first heard in the rapper's trailer for "Nothing Was The Same," was up next. Apparently fans thought Drake was going to release the song right then, and so he told them to "go to sleep."

We've all come to know and resent love Taylor Swift's quirky, off-beat dance moves at every awards show and concert she attends. But who would have thought Miley Cyrus would become the New Taylor Swift?

A crop top wearing Cyrus was spotted first row at Britney Spears' first Las Vegas show yesterday (Dec. 27), and boy, did she know all the words. The video above was later released, showing the 21-year-old lip syncing and dancing her famous booty off to "Till The World Ends."

Notably successful businesswoman Patti Stanger sat down with OK! magazine to answer some reader questions, submitted via Twitter, and it turned out to be the most candid the "Millionaire Matchmaker" has gotten in a while.

"My biggest regret is that I didn't have children," Stanger said in reply to one Twitter user's question. "I had an abortion in my 20s. I was pregnant and I didn't have enough money and I didn't think it was okay to have a child and be a single parent. Now, look, everyone's doing that."

Stanger added: "I didn't find the right guy at the right time to have one with, I guess. But I don't think I would adopt and be single. I would have eventually found a guy, settled down, got the picket fence. I just didn't meet person at the right time, I wasn't that lucky, like a lot of other people."

The 52-year-old ended a seven-year relationship with real-estate executive Andy Friedman in 2010. She is now in a relationship with former baseball player turned mortgage broker David Krause, notes the Daily Mail, and has been since March 2012. In March 2013 the Bravo star told "Good Morning America" that she and Krause are not engaged, but said, "I have a promise ring ... A promise ring to me means a commitment. However, at the same time I have the freedom to take my time to consider marriage."
