Scott Disick Did Not Move Out Of The House He Shares With Kourtney Kardashian, Says Rep

This week's cover of In Touch magazine is pretty dramatic with the headline "2 Kardashian Relationships OVER!" splashed over photos of both Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

While Khloe made the decision to end her three-year marriage to Lamar Odom, filing for divorce on Dec. 13, Kourtney's relationship with the father of her two children, Scott Disick, is still going strong, according to the reality star's rep.

In Touch claims Disick moved out of the family’s Calabasas, Calif., house and into the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel. And a hotel patron named Thomas Johnson alleges he saw the reality star, who likes to be called "Lord Disick," looking like he was "a lot more than friends" with a 20-something brunette, who was wheeling a small suitcase with her.

A rep for Kardashian told the Huffington Post these claims are "ridiculous" and simply "not true."

Although Disick and Kourtney have had their ups and downs over the years, many of which have played out quite publicly on their various reality series, the pair were most recently photographed together on Dec. 15, grabbing lunch at a deli with their son Mason.

Jason Schwartzman and his wife, Brady Cunningham, are expecting their second child. Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Cunningham is pregnant and due in the spring.

The couple's daughter, Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman, is now three years old. "Marlowe is super excited about becoming a big sister and they are thrilled to be adding to the family," a source explained.

As they did when Marlowe was born, Schwartzman and Cunningham plan to wait until birth to learn the sex of the baby. In a previous interview with Us Weekly, the actor explained their choice to keep the baby's sex a surprise and described it as leading to "a great moment."

Christina Applegate Shows Off Mandolin Skills In Lost 'Anchorman 2' Moment

Think of it as a deleted scene from "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." On Wednesday's edition of "The Tonight Show" Christina Applegate told host Jay Leno that she spent a ton of time learning how to play the mandolin for the comedy sequel, only to have the scene cut from the film. When Leno offered her the chance to show off her skills, Applegate jumped at the opportunity.

Even better, she slipped into her "Anchorman" character, Veronica Corningstone, to do it. "This is how I sang it," Applegate said before breaking into a short and very strange ditty about "police and thieves in the street." While she slipped easily into Veronica this time, Applegate admitted to HitFix that it wasn't easy for the film itself. The original "Anchorman" was released in 2004, so she had trouble finding her character after such a long time had passed. "Then I realized, Veronica had changed so drastically. She's a mom now," Applegate said. "She's successful. So her MO is different.”

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" is in theaters now. "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on NBC.

Britney Spears Is Working Hard, Looking Sophisticated In New Twitter Photo

Remember when Britney Spears was not a girl, not yet a woman?

Well she has definitely grown up since then. The "Work B*tch" singer posted an elegant and sophisticated photograph of herself on Twitter, showing the 32-year-old pop star in a much less glitzy light than we're used to seeing.

Despite the fact that her latest album, "Britney Jean" was released in late November and her "Perfume" music video debuted earlier this month, Spears is not slowing down or taking any breaks. It looks like she's brainstorming for her next project the old-fashioned way, with a pen and paper.

This Sunday, E! will debut Britney's two-hour special documentary, "I Am Britney Jean."

Kim Kardashian Looks Glam In Sheer Dress At Kanye West's Show In Chicago

Things have been pretty black and white for Kim Kardashian lately -- at least when it comes to her wardrobe.

With the exception of an all-gold outfit the 33-year-old donned to the Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Breakfast earlier this month, it's become expected that Kardashian will step out in an all-black, or all-white ensemble. It's also become increasingly easy to predict that she'll be rocking something sheer, just like she did in Chicago on Dec. 18 to watch fiance Kanye West's second show in the city.

The reality star posted an Instagram photo, in which she found a way to cover herself from head-to-toe and still give the cameras what they want. Kardashian looked glamorous in a sheer black turtleneck dress that exposed her bra, and paired it with a black fur-trimmed jacket.

We're banking on the likelihood of this being one of Kim's (or Kanye's) favorite looks, since she wore a very similar getup while she was in New York in November.

Lupus Myelitis: Actress Kristen Johnston's Diagnosis, Explained

After months of experiencing a mysterious sickness, actress Kristen Johnston announced that doctors have finally diagnosed her with a rare complication of lupus, called lupus myelitis.

The 3rd Rock From The Sun star wrote on her Facebook page:

I just was diagnosed 2 days ago with a rare form of Lupus called "Lupus Myelitis"--google it.
I'm not on my death bead...far from it. I'm gonna be fine.

Johnston, who is currently starring in "The Exes" on TV Land, said that she had been experiencing muscle weakness since September, making it hard for her to climb stairs or even hold her head up without a neck brace.

Lupus myelitis is a rare complication of lupus that causes paralysis -- whether it just be one limb, or all the lower extremities of the body. According to Lupus International, it occurs when the the sac around the spinal cord becomes inflamed, a condition called lupus vasculitis. It can also be caused when blood clots occur in the arteries connected to the spinal cord, which is caused by antiphospholipid antibodies. The Lupus Book points out that about half of lupus myelitis cases are from lupus vasculitis, while the other half come from antiphospholipid antibodies.

Treatment for lupus myelitis usually first involves steroid administration to combat inflammation, according to The Lupus Book. From there, anticoagulant drugs may be prescribed to the patient.

Lupus itself is a mysterious disease, with no known cure. It's an inflammatory disease, meaning the immune system attacks the healthy tissue in the body, but inflammation from lupus can occur in different parts of the body (such as the joints, brain, heart and lungs), according to the Mayo Clinic. Symptoms of lupus differ from person to person, but most often involve fatigue, a butterfly-shaped face rash, chest pain, joint pain and stiffness and shortness of breath.

'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Claims Black People Were 'Happy' Pre-Civil Rights

"Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson made headlines this week for his anti-gay sentiments in a GQ interview. Now another statement from the interview -- this time about the black community during the pre-civil rights era -- is stirring more controversy.

GQ's Drew Magary sat down with the "Duck Dynasty" patriarch for a candid interview about his road to fame. The 67-year-old journeyed from substance abuse to devotion to God to small-screen celebrity, all in the backwoods of Louisiana. According to Robertson, growing up in those Louisiana backwoods in the pre-civil rights era was not bad for black people.

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person," Robertson is quoted in GQ. "Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field.... They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

Before the civil rights movement of the 1950s, Jim Crow laws enforced a system of subjugating African-Americans in the South by upholding racial barriers for years after the Emancipation Proclamation. The cultural climate in the Southern states was one of "disenfranchisement, segregation and various forms of oppression, including race-inspired violence," History.com notes.

The Human Rights Campaign and the NAACP wrote a joint letter to the president of A&E, expressing deep concern over Robertson's remarks:

We want to be clear why Phil Robertson’s remarks are not just dangerous but also inaccurate. Mr. Robertson claims that, from what he saw, African Americans were happier under Jim Crow. What he didn’t see were lynching and beatings of black men and women for attempting to vote or simply walking down the street. And his offensive claims about gay people fly in the face of science. In fact, it’s important to note that every single leading medical organization in the country has said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being [lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender] -- it’s not a choice, and to suggest otherwise is dangerous.

Robertson called homosexuality a sin and juxtaposed it with bestiality. After his homophobia made news, A&E released a statement announcing Robertson's indefinite suspension from "Duck Dynasty." The network emphasized that his beliefs are in contrast to those of the network.

Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals Favorite 'Sex And The City' Episode

Sarah Jessica Parker talked about "Sex and the City" during a speed round on "Watch What Happens: Live." She barely had time to think or react to the questions, but she did manage to reveal which guy she thinks Carrie should have wound up with, as well as her favorite episode.

For sentimental reasons, Parker said that she felt Mr. Big was the right guy for Carrie. As for her favorite episode, Parker went all the way back to the fourth episode of Season 1 with "Valley of the Twenty-Something Guys." The episode featured Timothy Olyphant and a rather unorthodox cab conversation. Let's just say, Samantha's declaration that "a hole is a hole" will forever be etched on our brains!

As for a third movie, SJP made it clear that it's pretty unlikely by saying, "There’s a story that could be told, but I don’t know that we’ll ever tell it."

"Watch What Happens: Live" airs every Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Meet Malin Akerman's new TV mom! Cybill Shepherd was cast on "Trophy Wife" as Kate's (Akerman) mom, Cricket, according to E! News.

"The Moonlighting" and "Cybill" actress is iconic on the small screen, and her new role is described as "a fun-loving, spontaneous wild child whose arrival quickly throws Kate's family life into chaos."

Earlier this year, Akerman opened up to HuffPost TV about her character's past. "My own personal backstory of her life is that she comes from a screwed up family," she said. "And finds this sort of instant family where she’s finally part of something that really is more important than boys and partying she’s been doing."

Now, we'll see exactly what her "screwed up family" is like as Shepherd is slated to appear in Episodes 17 and 18 of the ABC sitcom.

"Trophy Wife" airs Tuesdays, 9:30 p.m. on ABC.

Epic 'Eye Of The Tiger' Battle On 'Sing-Off' Earns Standing Ovation

"The Sing-Off" continues to impress with mind-blowing a cappella performances, and yet sometimes even that isn't enough. In a tough double-elimination night, all of the remaining contestants were forced into sing-off battles. The acoUstiKats and Voice Play both came ready to fight, masterfully tackling Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger."

The judges were on their feet after that one, but they didn't stay there. In fact, both groups were sent home after their powerful performance. It just goes to show how stiff the competition is, as Small Screen Scoop's Jessica Rae pointed out. Only four groups remain in the running for the top prize, and only two episodes remain.

"The Sing-Off" continues Thursday at 8 p.m. EST, and wraps its season Monday at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.

Is Miley Cyrus Dating Kellan Lutz? Romance Rumors Spark After Pair Is Seen In Miami

Miley Cyrus may have herself a new romance in the form of "Twilight" hunk Kellan Lutz.

Rumors sparked when Cyrus and Lutz were spotted in Miami Wednesday, Dec. 18, getting off the same private jet. The "Wrecking Ball" singer was spotted wearing cutoff shorts and a white sweatshirt, while Lutz followed behind in jeans, a T-shirt and flip-flops.

The two exited the plane separately, E! News noted. Cyrus was with her best friend, Cheyne Thomas, when she emerged.

While he is currently single, a source told E! News Lutz is not dating Cyrus. Apparently, they just have mutual friends. He headed to Miami to promote his new film, "The Legend of Hercules," and she is there to perform at Jingle Ball on Friday.

Since she called off her engagement to Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus has been linked to rapper-producer Mike WILL Made It and Theo Wenner, Liv Tyler's ex and the son of Rolling Stone magazine owner Jann Wenner.

Cyrus opened up about her split from Hemsworth while talking with Barbara Walters for the "Most Fascinating People of 2013" special. The 21-year-old revealed that she and her ex-fiance moved too fast, and that she was scared of being alone.

"I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself," she said.

Memorable Makeup: Beauty Standouts for 2013

With a bright and shiny new year a matter of days away, I'm taking a glance back at 2013 to mark the moment. And what a year in beauty inspiration it was! While nude makeup -- which I adore -- enjoyed a major moment with countless designers, starlets and models, other style setters chose to mix it up and embrace vibrant color and envelope-pushing looks that had us voyeurs captivated. I'm all for experimentation and some of the ladies below are proof positive that taking the occasional gamble with your makeup statement can pay off beautifully. New year, new you?

Best Use of Blue Eye Shadow in a Supporting Role: Nicole Richie at the Golden Globes

Few shades are as misunderstood -- and scariest in the wrong hands! -- as blue eye shadow. But style maven Nicole Richie pulled it off and then some at the Golden Globes, sporting not only blue shadow but an icy shade precisely matched to her dress. Flawless. By keeping the rest of her makeup on the simple side, Richie made the monotone look modern and sophisticated.

Best Use of Graphic Liner to Create a Trademark Look: IGGY AZALEA

Graphic liner was one of the strongest makeup trends to hit the runway in 2014. Rising star and Australian native Iggy Azalea has embraced the razor-sharp statement eye and made it her trademark. Often paired with a bold lip, and Madonna-esque ponytail, her beauty style is as cool as her music. A tip to up-and-comers: Want to make a splash? Get pally with a great makeup artist! OR invest in an expert lesson and perfect your technique.

Best Makeup Smokescreen to Distract from Personal Drama: Kristen Stewart at the Met Gala

While the seemingly endless drama of K-Stew's on-again, off-again relationship with Robert Pattinson spilled over well into 2013, all eyes were on Stewart's darkly sexy makeup statement on the red carpet at the Met Ball. Following in Nicole Richie's footsteps, Stewart also pulled off a high-risk shadow that matched her gown. The gamble paid off, creating one of the most memorable looks of 2013 that was far more interesting than Stewart's standard black/bronze smoky eye and brought out her intense green eyes like never before. Robert who...?

Best Use of Brows as a Statement Accessory: Cara Delevigne

Few faces were as ubiquitous in 2013 as model of the moment Cara Delevigne. Part of Delevigne's allure is that her face can transform from sexy to sinister to silly in a matter of seconds. Yet from the Victoria's Secret catwalk to avant-garde photo shoots to her beloved Instagram videos, one feature is almost omnipresent: her enviable set of bold brows. Delevigne has made them a true statement accessory to accent every look. Apparently, sales of tweezers have dropped dramatically in the past year. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Face of the Future: Joan Smalls

A runway force to be reckoned with, supermodel Joan Smalls has quietly risen to the top of the fashion hierarchy. As she kicks off the New Year on the cover of ELLE, Smalls may be the woman to lead the fashion industry into a new era of diversity in 2014. Signaling not only the return of the supermodel but also wielding a powerful voice in the movement to embrace a new standard of beauty, Smalls is poised to be a game changer in more ways than one.

Rick Ross & Jay Z Team For 'Devil Is A Lie,' Talk Wingstop, D'Ussé, Illuminati

Rick Ross and Jay Z let go of "The Devil Is A Lie," a hotly anticipated track off Ross' upcoming "Mastermind" LP on Thursday. The track features considerable flexing on the part of both the 37-year-old Rozay and 44-year-old Hov, both of whom are eager to share stories about stepping on drugs and revel in their relative brand associations. Ross gets in a plug for Wingstop, Jay continues his song-ruining habit of repping D'Ussé (see: Beyonce's "Drunk In Love"), and Jay even goes so far as to mention the Illuminati and stop and frisk. Unclear: Whether he was wearing the snakeskin snapback he's currently selling at Barneys, the store which made headlines this year for racially profiling black customers. Jay would also like to make it clear that he's "getting white money but I'm still black." Regardless, listen below.

Quentin Tarantino Almost Quit Film And Isn't Working On 'Kill Bill 3'

$
0
0
Imagine a Hollywood without Quentin Tarantino. Something wouldn't feel right if we didn't have the Oscar-winning director around to add to the oeuvre of blood-splattering violence. Luckily, he's not going anywhere -- but that almost wasn't the case.

Tarantino recently revealed to The Independent that he considered quitting film "after 10 movies," which, by our calculations, means he was probably weighing whether last year's "Django Unchained" would be his final project.

"I went back on the idea," Tarantino said. "OK, it would sound really cool because it's a round number and it would make sense, as I would have made three movies per decade, but it's not fixed in time. I still have some more things to do before being done with movies."

We know that Tarantino has at least one more up his sleeve: a Western. During a November appearance on "The Tonight Show," Tarantino told Jay Leno that his next movie is spurred on by his enjoyment in making "Django" -- but it's not a sequel. "I had so much fun doing ‘Django,’ and I love Westerns so much that, after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like, ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I'm doing.'"

One thing Tarantino isn't working on, to many fans' despair, is a third "Kill Bill." Rumblings of a potential new entry in the series have been floating around for nearly a decade, since "Vol. 2" was released. Tarantino told Entertainment Weekly in 2004 that he was working on a third "Kill Bill," and two years later, thoughts of a fourth movie began circulating as well. But he changed that narrative in December 2012, saying "probably not." The director reiterated that sentiment to The Independent. "I don't think about 'Kill Bill 3' that much, as ... we already visited them," he said.

The director also told The Independent that, while he no longer has a checklist of things to tackle in his career, he might like to some day work on a horror film.

Grimm's Bitsie Tulloch: Naughty Or Nice?

While I would like to think I am the viewer who first discovered NBC's "Grimm," I am sure I would have many who would beg to differ. Understandably, the show which had a bit of a slow start, has a minion of fans who have finally found satisfaction in what we knew early in Season 1: This show is fantastic. With characters who live complicated and intertwined lives, the actors who portray them are no less connected off-camera as this is truly an ensemble cast.

Therefore, when I had the opportunity to sit down with Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette Silverton), it was no surprise that the actress behind the character is equally as smart, authentic, slightly sassy, and nothing short of delightful with a flair for the fantabulous.

Joshua Estrin:
With the holidays upon us... Are you a traditionalist or more spontaneous?

Bitsie Tulloch: I am as far away from a traditionalist as one could be. I grew up with a mother who put the Christmas tree up in October so I know it might not make me the most popular person, but sometimes the holidays just get to me. That being said, I enjoy spending time with my grandmother and try to make the season all about making her happy.

JE: "Grimm" is one of the hottest shows with a loyal fan base that has few rivals. There was a time when it wasn't so "cool." What do you think was the turning point?

BT: We have unbelievable fans. They are passionate about the show and without them we would be nothing. In the beginning, it took the idea some time to catch on. But, once the focus became more about the mythology and the legends, we really connected with our audience and experienced an amazing shift. I think it made sense as the show became about people trying to find their way home and that resonated with viewers.

JE: Can you give a little inside scoop about the making of the Christmas special?

BT: The Christmas special was so much fun to shoot. I spend time on Twitter and I was shocked that as excited as people were to have two-hours of "Grimm", they were taken aback to hear it was the season finale. We aren't going away forever, just taking a little break and coming back with more than a few surprises.

JE: So many people have come to identify you as "Juliette Silverton." What do you think is the greatest misconception fans have about her?

BT: In Season 1, I think Juliette was a bit misunderstood and I get it as she didn't have a great deal to go on because most of Nick's life was hidden from her. After the comma, she began to come into her own. In truth, what might have been interpreted as a passive-aggressive woman getting in the way of the man who loved her, was actually a very smart, loving person who made one of the ultimate sacrifices despite her love for Nick by realizing he was not ready for marriage. I believe saying "no" to him took a great deal of courage and integrity.

Madonna Gushes Over Beyonce; Daughter Mercy Gets A Queen Bey Smooch

Madonna might be known as the Queen of Pop, but she isn't afraid to give Queen Bey credit where credit is due.

Madonna hit up Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show World Tour stop in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center Thursday, Dec. 19, with her adorable daughter, Mercy. The 55-year-old uploaded some photos from the show and couldn't help but gush over the "XO" singer.

"Mrs. Carter crushes the BK with her bad ass show! Girls run the world! #srtforfreedom," she captioned one photo.

At one point, Beyonce bent down and gave Mercy a big kiss, and Madonna captured the sweet moment.

"Mercy James gets a big fat one from the Queen. B !" she wrote.

Madonna isn't the only celebrity who loves Beyonce. When the 32-year-old dropped her self-titled album on Dec. 12, celebs like Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Emma Roberts and Snoop Dogg freaked over the surprise.

"I'm literally FUH-REAKING OUT over this new #BEYONCE... The music vids?!!?! I CANT HANDLE THIS MUCH FIERENESS.... #NOJOKE #DYING," Demi Lovato tweeted.

"Beyonce" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week. She's the first woman to reach No. 1 with her first five studio albums, according to Billboard.
