Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Split Coming? Report Claims The End Is 'Soon'

$

Is a split coming "soon" for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom? Yes, at least according to Us Weekly.

The magazine reports that Kardashian and Odom have been estranged for weeks and claims it's only a matter of time before they announce a formal split.

"Her assistants packed up Lamar's clothes and dropped them off at his loft," a source told the magazine, adding that Odom still refuses to admit to his reality star wife that he has a drug problem. "She'll be the one who ends things, and it will be soon."

While this report is essentially unfounded, there definitely seems to be trouble in paradise. The two have not been photographed together in public since June and Kardashian dropped "Odom" from her name in her Instagram bio, E! News first noted.

"A source tells us that Khloe is still very, very upset, but that life is finally starting to move on for her," an E! correspondent said. "There is going to be no more interventions and no more trying to save Lamar because she just wants to live her life, even though it's very separate from the life that he's living now."

"Khloe isn't quite ready to file divorce paper, but she is definitely done trying to save the marriage."

Earlier this week, RadarOnline reported that Kris Jenner is telling her daughter to file for divorce. At her mother's insistence, Kardashian reportedly met with a lawyer, but allegedly hopes to salvage the relationship.

Emmys 2013: Parties Begin With 'Modern Family,' 'Downton Abbey' And 'Mad Men' Cast In Attendance

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Even the Emmy host needs to blow off some steam before the big show.

Neil Patrick Harris sipped a cocktail and bantered with friends at Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmy party, one of several events in Tinseltown on Friday celebrating Emmy nominees. The sophomore Emmy host made an early exit from the gathering at Fig & Olive, which drew scores of stars and a small group of fans who were forced to stand across the street and crane for a celebrity sighting. Kristen Chenoweth, Kaley Cuoco, Amber Riley, Aasif Mandvi, Jason Mraz and Ashlee Simpson were among the party guests, along with Raquel Welch, who held court at the back of the restaurant in a form-fitting leopard-print dress and gold stiletto cage sandals.

Just around the corner, the TV academy held its annual reception for nominated performers at the Pacific Design Center. A ballroom became a quirky library setting, with books and old knick-knacks dotting antique bookshelves. A full dinner spread of steak, salmon and an array of salads covered two large buffet tables inside, and there was more food outside on the heated patio.

The patio also held a small stage, where the nominees accepted certificates and posed for a group photo. Some actors used the opportunity to geek out on their favorite stars. As soon as Michelle Dockery of "Downton Abbey" came up, Anna Chlumsky leaned in and introduced herself, saying, "I'm a big, big fan of yours."

Lily Tomlin, who helps lead the acting branch of the TV academy, praised her colleagues on stage.

"I'm so awed to look at you guys," she said. "You have such great hair and everything else."

Alfre Woodard, Scott Baklula, Elizabeth Moss and "Modern Family" stars Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen were among the night's party-hoppers (show sponsor Audi provided car service to make it easier). Women in Film also held a nominees' gathering, while "Mad Men" had its own affair at Chateau Marmont.

The Emmy Awards will be presented Sunday at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater and broadcast on CBS.

An Introductory Guide To Ansel Elgort, Soon-To-Be 'Fault In Our Stars' Mega-Star

Hey guys! Meet our friend Ansel.

He's pretty cute, no?

The 19-year-old will be playing Shailene Woodley's love interest, Augustus Waters, in "The Fault In Our Stars" movie.

This is a BIG deal, trust us.

First, though, he's going to play Shailene's brother in the "Divergent" movie. (Yeah, that's a little awkward.)

He's also in the upcoming film, "Carrie," with Chloe Grace Moretz.

In other words, Ansel is about to become pretty famous.

But don't worry, he seems like a really chill guy.

Who's a pro at shirtless basketball.

Appreciates fine food

And is a professionally trained dancer.

The most important thing to know, however, is that he's a TOTAL nerdfighter.

Seriously, he loves John Green as much as you do.

He's also besties with Nat Wolff (who plays Isaac in the movie).

2013-09-20-Screenshot20130920at5.03.03PM.png

And sometimes he gets confused about whether he IS, actually, Augustus Waters IRL.

2013-09-20-Screenshot20130920at4.54.46PM.png

So to any skeptics, it's time to let go of your doubt and join the Ansel Elgort fandom.

Okay? Okay.

Eminem took to Twitter on Friday evening to unveil the cover art for "The Marshall Mathers LP 2." The imagery for the rapper's eighth solo album, due Nov. 5, bears an appropriate resemblance to his first "Marshall Mathers LP," from 2000. The same sepia tones are used in a depiction of Eminem's Detroit childhood home, except this time he's not seen in the photo.

Eminem revealed the art first to a Twitter follower who correctly answered a trivia question he posed.

Eminem released "Berzerk," the first single from "Marshall Mathers LP 2," on Aug. 27. The album marks the rapper's first solo release since 2010's "Recovery."

Sad news for Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy, whose mother passed away this weekend after battling breast cancer for 17 years.

According to E! News, Debra McCurdy passed away yesterday (Sept. 20). A rep for the child star told E! "Jennette has suffered an unimaginable loss. Please respect her and her family's privacy at this time of mourning. She appreciates the love and support of her fans."

The iCarly star, 21, also tweeted this morning:

Back in 2011, Jennette penned a poignant essay in the Wall Street Journal, addressing her mother's illness. She wrote: "Underneath the carefree facade, you may be surprised to know that some of us [young actors] actually do have to face some tribulations."

"In March 1995, my mother was diagnosed with Stage IV mammary ductal cell carcinoma, also known as breast cancer, and required a bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy, breast surgery and many radiation sessions," she added. "Miraculously, my mother made it through."

According to TMZ, Debra's cancer went into remission but returned in 2010 and spread throughout her body. Two months ago, Jennette posted this photo to Instagram, captioning it: "Me, my mom, and her big chocolate truffle hat."

George Soros Weds Consultant Tamiko Bolton For His Third Marriage

By Jennifer Ablan
NEW YORK, Sept 21 (Reuters) - George Soros, the 83-year-old billionaire investor, philanthropist and active supporter of liberal political causes, married health care and education consultant Tamiko Bolton on Saturday afternoon.
Soros and Bolton, 42, exchanged vows in a small ceremony at his Bedford, New York, estate, which Soros bought in 2003 from "Jurassic Park" author Michael Crichton. Federal judge Kimba Wood officiated at the non-denominational wedding, which was attended by members of the couple's families, including the groom's five children, a source familiar with the wedding told Reuters on Saturday.
For Soros, whose net worth is $20 billion according to Forbes, this will be his third marriage. It is Bolton's second.
Soros put a Graff wedding band on Bolton's finger during the half-hour ceremony, according to the source.
The exchange of vows will be followed by a reception, which begins at 4:30 p.m, with more than 500 guests at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, the Westchester County complex known for its Italian Renaissance-inspired buildings and lush gardens.
Among the guests at the various events are World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and some foreign leaders, including Hendrik Toomas Ilves, president of Estonia; Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, president of Liberia; and Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania.
Also expected to attend are fellow titans of the hedge fund world, Paul Tudor Jones and Julian Robertson. From the U.S. political realm those invited include Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi of California and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, both Democrats.
On Friday night, the couple held a reception for 300 guests at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan for a preview of the new exhibition of works by Belgian painter Rene Magritte - "Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary, 1926-1938."
The honeymoon plans were not immediately disclosed.
Soros, who established one of the first hedge funds in 1969 and is probably best known for famously betting against the British pound in 1992, met Bolton at a dinner party in 2008. Their engagement was announced in August 2012.
Bolton, who was raised in California, is the daughter of a nurse and a retired naval officer. She graduated from the University of Utah and holds an MBA from the University of Miami.
Bolton has been a consultant and entrepreneur working in the fields of health and education. She started an Internet-based dietary supplement and vitamin sales company, and her most recent project was advising on development of a web-based yoga education platform.
The bride's dress was designed by U.S.-based, Lebanon-born Reem Acra, whose gowns have been worn on the red carpet by many stars, including Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez.
The reception on Saturday night will feature Hungarian composer and conductor Iván Fischer, a family friend, who created a new arrangement for the occasion. It will be presented with the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Also, Cape Verdean Mayra Andrade will sing with the Harris Lane Orchestra. Andrade and Roma ensemble Via Romen will perform at a Sunday brunch.
In lieu of gifts, the couple has asked that donations be made to charities including Global Witness, Harlem Children's Zone, National Dance Institute, Planned Parenthood and the Roma Education Fund.

Journey At Music Midtown Festival: Rock Band Closes First Day Of Atlanta Event With Two-Hour Set

ATLANTA — The rock band Journey capped the first day of the third annual Music Midtown Festival with a set that lasted nearly two hours, performing hits such as "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Any Way You Want It."

"This is the best time we've had in years," lead singer Arnel Pineda said to a screaming and packed crowd on Friday night at the Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta. "Thank you for everything. Thank you." Rapper 2 Chainz was also a headline performer earlier in the day of the two-day festival. He put on an energetic set that featured his hit songs such as "Birthday Song," "I'm Different" and "Feds Watching."

"This is my hometown, so welcome to the Music Midtown," the rapper said.

Shortly after 2 Chainz's performance, the crowd shifted from the Great Southeastern Music Hall to the neighboring Electric Ballroom stage to catch alternative rock group Phoenix. The four-man band from France performed a number of hits from "1901" to "Entertainment."

Pineda leaped off the stage during Journey's performance and gave fans in the front row high 5s. Neal Schon, the guitarist of the five-man band, played the Star-Spangled Banner during his solo set as the American flag went on display behind him while the rest of his band mates looked on.

North Mississippi Allstars opened the festival Friday. The Mowgli's, Cake, Drivin N Cryin and Jane's Addiction also performed.

Thirteen more acts will perform Saturday, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Capital Cities.

Penn Badgley Says He Misses 'Gossip Girl' Like 'An Old Lover'

Last December, it was revealed that the object of Serena van der Woodsen's (Blake Lively) affections, the scruffy Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), had been sabotaging Upper East Side's elite for five years.

Yes, Dan was the elusive Gossip Girl of "Gossip Girl." Although Badgley told HuffPost Live that it didn't make much sense for him to be Gossip Girl in April, when HuffPost TV caught up with him he had nothing but good things to say.

"I miss her like an old lover," he joked at Esquire's 80th Anniversary party this week. "No, of course I do. I miss everyone. Every day of it was a blessing. I wouldn't be here without it."

But what about that dig he took at the CW series earlier this year, ahead of the release of his film "Greetings From Tim Buckley"?

“To be proud of something is a really nice feeling. And it’s a new feeling, and it’s something that I wanna keep going with," he told Salon. "I can walk a little taller feeling that I don’t have to be constantly apologizing for the work that I’ve done in the past."

Well, things may have changed a bit. "I find that almost a year later I definitely do miss a lot about it," he admitted to HuffPost.

We miss you too, Dan. Xoxo.

Jack Antonoff Talks Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles' 'Brave'

LAS VEGAS — Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff says co-writing with Taylor Swift helped him become a better musician.

Antonoff co-wrote Swift's song, "Sweeter Than Fiction," which will appear or the upcoming "One Chance" soundtrack; the film is about "Britain's Got Talent" winner Paul Potts. "She's just like the most incredible writer and singer and performer," Antonoff said in a recent interview. "She feels completely unaffected by all the stuff happening around her, so working with her was like the most amazing experience. ... It made me better at what I do just watching her process."

Antonoff, 29, added that he and the country-pop princess decided to work together after he told her about a song he was writing that featured the snare drum. He added that the collaboration worked so well because there was "no label involved, no one put us together."

Fun. is still riding high – and on tour – off the success of its platinum-selling sophomore album, which launched the hits "Some Nights" and "We Are Young" last year. The latter track won the Grammy for record of the year and helped the trio win best new artist. Antonoff co-wrote the entire album with band mates Nate Ruess and Andrew Dost. He said songwriting outside of the band is helping the group.

"I'm doing a lot of other stuff with other people. I did some stuff with Christina Perri and I'm working with some other people that I'm not allowed to say yet," he said. "The more I can do that the more I kind of constantly re-fall in love with all the elements of what I do, so I think it's really good for me, it's good for my band."

Antonoff also co-wrote Sara Bareilles' "Brave," which became a Top 40 hit after music fans said Katy Perry's "Roar" sounded like the piano tune.

"I hear what everyone else hears," Antonoff said with a laugh of the comparisons. "I hear the similarities. But at the end of the day, you know, I think Katy Perry releasing `Roar' put a big spotlight on `Brave' also, so if we can find ourselves in a situation where two great songs are present in the public then that's great."

Bareilles recently said she doesn't feel like Perry ripped off her song.

"I don't think the songs sound the same, but I think there's a lot in their production that feels similar," Antonoff added. "It's cool if Katy Perry was anyway inspired by `Brave' – that's awesome."

Fun. performed Friday as part of the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas. The group sang its own hits and then joined Queen onstage, along with Adam Lambert.

"I wouldn't play guitar if there was no Brian May. We wouldn't be a band if it wasn't for Queen," Antonoff said. "It was one of the most incredible experiences."

The pop-rock group's "Most Nights" tour wraps Oct. 13 in Mexico City at the Corona Capital Festival. Antonoff said they'll likely head back in the studio to record the follow-up to "Some Nights" in March and he's happy with how his band has dealt with their massive success.

"I'm still alive, I'm still in a relationship, I haven't (messed) everything up yet, but it's not easy," said Antonoff, who is dating "Girls" actress and creator Lena Dunham. "It's tough to be away – it's that simple. You miss things. A year ago it was real (messed) up, it was hard. There was no way you can learn how to be in that schedule and be under those kinds of pressures."

"I think that we went through a lot and I think we got through it," he said of group. "And none of us turned to drugs or none of us ended as shady people."

Catherine Zeta-Jones Stuns On The Red Carpet In China In First Public Appearance Since Separation

Catherine Zeta-Jones turned heads on Sunday night in her first public appearance since news broke of her separation from husband Michael Douglas at the end of August.

The 43-year-old actress was in China's Shandong province to announce the launch of a brand-new $5 billion film studio, as well as plans for a Chinese film festival hosted by AMC Entertainment, reports People.

While Zeta-Jones made her first red-carpet appearance since the separation, Douglas was halfway around the world accepting his Emmy award for his role as Liberace in HBO's "Behind the Candelabra." During his acceptance speech, Douglas surprised many when he included Zeta-Jones in his speech:

"I want to thank my wife Catherine for her support, my kids Dylan and Carys, and a shout-out for my oldest son Cameron and hoping that I'll be able and they'll allow me to see him soon," he said.

The separation may not mean the end of the marriage, as many had feared, as last week Douglas told ET Online, "Everybody is fine. Nothing really more to say. We were just taking a little break. We’re talking. I think everything will be fine and I’m very hopeful.”

These Are The Dresses The Stars Should Have Worn To The Emmys (PHOTOS)

$

It's pretty obvious that we were underwhelmed by the fashion we saw at the 2013 Emmy Awards. A very select group of stars managed to shine, but most of them just flopped.

Since so many gorgeous dresses came down the runway during Fashion Week, we expected our favorite A-listers to do much better. To help them out (and hopefully give them inspiration for next season), we've picked out the gowns from various spring 2014 collections that we wish they had worn. Next year, these celebs should consult us first, clearly.

Lena Dunham --> Temperley London

lena

The main issue with Dunham's dress is the excessive material. The skirt is too full and too long, and the bodice is not tight enough, making her look bigger than she is. This Temperley London dress is not only proportionally better, but the purple hues would have complimented her brown hair and fair skin.

Kerry Washington --> Monique Lhuillier

kerry

Washington looks amazing in bright colors and this red and pink Monique Lhuillier top and skirt combo would have made her stand out on the red carpet. And we know she has the body to rock a crop top.

Allison Willams --> Jason Wu

alison

Williams' dress is boring us to tears. Nothing about it is memorable, and while we don't hate it, we think this Jason Wu dress could have easily made her the best-dressed star of the night.

Alyson Hannigan --> Delpozo

hannigan

If she's not in a wedding party, this dress has got to go. Imagine Hannigan's red hair against this billowy Delpozo top. And that slim skirt would make her legs look miles long. (Our only suggestion would be to skip the blue eyeshadow when copying this look.)

January Jones --> Cushnie et Ochs

jan jones

This color is washing the "Mad Men" star out, and the dress has little shape. Had she worn this Cushnie et Ochs dress, she could have flaunted that amazing figure of hers.

Jessica Paré --> Tadashi Shoji

jessica pare

This dress was the wrong color and the wrong shape. However, this little black Tadashi Shoji dress has the perfect amount of sex appeal and bling to set Paré apart from the crowd.

Kate Mara --> Naeem Khan

kate mara

Mara got the color right at the Emmys, but her look needs slight refining. This Naeem Khan dress is so simple, yet so delicate and striking. Which is perfect for Mara, who always likes to make a statement.

Julie Bowen --> Ralph Lauren

ralph lauren

The dress Bowen wore to the Emmys was overly sweet and ruffly. We would have much rather saw her take a chance in this sexy red Ralph Lauren number. The color would have been perfection against her porcelain complexion.

Carrie Underwood --> J. Mendel

carrie

Another bad bridesmaid dress. Instead of showing up to the Emmys looking like a cake topper, the country singer should have sported this slinky red J. Mendel number. It would have shown off her best assets.

Kanye West's Zane Lowe Interview Can Only Be Described As Amazing

"Product guy" Kanye West sat down with Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1 for an intense discussion on all things "Yeezus," fashion and family. The first portion is available in video form below, but the full session just aired on Radio 1. Here are a few tidbits:

On why he's focusing on fashion more than clothing now: "It's not illegal to not listen to music. It's illegal to walk around naked."

On providing inspiration: "If you're a Kanye fan, you're not a fan of me, you're a fan of yourself. I'm just the espresso. I'm just the shot in the morning."

On his "rants": "They classify my motivational speeches as rants… I have reached the point where my 'Truman Show' boat has crashed into the painting."

On "Yeezus": "This is what frustration f--king sounds like."

On being in a peerless place: "I look around and I say, 'Wait a second, there's no one around me in this space that looks like me. And if they are, they're quiet as f--k. So that means, wait a second -- we are seriously in a civil rights movement."

On rap going mainstream: "Where is the culture at?"

And, perhaps most impressive, on fashion and Hedi Slimane (currently of Saint Laurent): "Whether I'm at a dinner with Anna Wintour, or a listening party with Pusha-T or in Rome with Virgil [Abloh, West's creative director], giving Fendi our designs and getting them knocked down… [We] brought the leather jogging pants six years ago to Fendi, and they said no. How many motherf—kers you done seen with a leather jogging pant? So when I see Hedi Slimane, and it's like, 'OK, this is my take on the world,' yeah, he's got some nice $5,000 jeans in there, it's some nice ones here and there, some good sh-t here and there, but we are culture. Rap is the new rock and roll. We are culture. Rap is the new rock and roll. We are the rockstars. It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane. It's been like that for a minute. We the biggest rockstars, and I'm the biggest of all of them."

Take a peek at the first 14 minutes above.

Ian Somerhalder Is Not Angry He Wasn't Cast In 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' (VIDEO)

Fans of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series may be sad that Ian Somerhalder wasn't cast as Christian Grey for the big-screen adaptation, but the actor himself is not sweating the decision.

During a conversation about his partnership with breaking news site RYOT, the "Vampire Diaries" actor told HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill that while he is "unbelievably grateful for all the support and all the cheering and the love" from fans who wanted him to star in "Fifty Shades," he's plenty occupied without the role.

"I'm on a TV show that shoots 10 months a year," he said.

Somerhalder added that he was not upset when it was announced that Charlie Hunnam will play Grey.

"It's so funny, you read these blogs: 'Ian Somerhalder angry, livid he's not Christian Grey' -- I mean, no, no, no, there's none of that," he said.

It was long rumored that Somerhalder was a frontrunner for the part. In March, Andy Cohen asked him about the rumors on "Watch What Happens Live," and at the time Somerhalder gave a vague answer that seemed to hint he was in fact in the running for the part.

"I think they have a very big job ahead of them, casting this role," Somerhalder told Cohen. "So, I can’t say anything other than, it’s a very interesting story and whoever plays that role is going to have a lot of fun rehearsal time."
