Dianna Agron Doesn't Look Like This Anymore

Dianna Agron is back to blond.

The "Glee" star, who will next appear alongside Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie "The Family," showed off her golden locks at the MySpace party this week.

After being a redhead for all of two months, Agron hit the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. wearing a floral Marc Jacobs skirt, a crisp white top and white pumps, her blonde hair stick straight and her bangs swept to the side.

But going back to her honey-colored roots is hardly the most dramatic change the 27-year-old has gone through. Agron had previously cut her hair into a bob and streaked it pink for her role on "Glee."

Def Jam Is Angry About 'Yeezus' Leak, But Kanye Isn't

As anyone would expect, Def Jam is none too pleased about the leaking of Kanye West's "Yeezus" -- and the record label is on the hunt for the guilty party.

But perhaps as equally unsurprising, West himself is reportedly carefree about the news of the leak, which sparked a firestorm on Twitter and across the Internet upon its outbreak Friday afternoon. The term #Yeezus is still a trending term as of Saturday morning.

Sources reportedly tell TMZ that special procedures are in place so Def Jam can track down the sources of leaks when they occur. The label says it already has a lead on the suspect and will seek appropriate consequences.

West, on the other hand, remains unfazed, saying he was well aware this may happen, given the album's buzz. His reactions are aligned with comments he made at the beginning of the week during the "Yeezus" listening party in New York City.

"I have a new strategy, it's called 'no strategy.' I have a plan to sell more music -- it's called 'make better music,'" he said. "I had to learn about giving, this whole album is about giving -- this whole process is about giving ... no f--ks at all."

Still, West must realize the leak could impact his album sales come Tuesday, even if his current mantra indicates he is unconcerned with such statistics. Prior to the leak, industry insiders predicted a 500,000-copy debut. That figure is just slightly higher than the number "Watch the Throne" -- an album that managed to avoid a leak -- saw when it bowed in 2011.

Keith Caulfield, associate director of charts and retail at Billboard, tweeted yesterday in response to Los Angeles Times music writer Todd Martens:

The Huffington Post reached out to Caulfield to see if the 500,000 prediction has changed following the leak. HuffPost also asked Def Jam to comment on the matter bus has not yet heard back.

Steve Irwin's Daughter Victim Of Online Death Hoax

Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, was the latest celebrity victim of an online death hoax. This time, however, it wasn't some made-up, macabre story of a ski accident in Switzerland, but rather a rumor spawned from a jumbled Internet search term.

E! News referred to the snafu as the "perfect search storm." Social News Daily boiled it down to a "trends hiccup."

It all started Friday when word that Irwin's daughter had died began to spread on Twitter and became a popular term on various search engines, according to E! News. Hoax sleuths were able to link it all back to a glitch in Internet searches relating to the term "Steve Irwin daughter."

Bindi has been making headlines for her new movie "Return to Nim’s Island," which premiered in March and was released on DVD May 21. As people searched for information on Irwin's daughter, search engines matched up the query with stories written about her following the September 2006 death of her father. The searches overlapped to create one creepy trending term: "Steve Irwin's daughter dies."

The 14-year-old is, of course, alive and well.

On Thursday, Bindi tweeted a video of a trip to Hong Kong she took with her father. She also posted a photo to Instagram taken at a beach with the words "Unconditional Love" written in the sand.

The precocious teen has been busy working on projects with the Discovery Channel and dedicating herself to environmentalism. In April, she visited Singapore to talk about her commitment to wildlife.

“I’m a great believer in conservation, kid-empowerment and all things to do with wildlife," Bidni told Yahoo! Singapore. "So these programs are something that I’m really passionate and excited about. It’s very special – and what a unique position to be in, to be able to share your passion with such a wide audience. How nice is that?"

PHOTOS:Rihanna's 'Rain Boots' Sure Are Ambitious

We all have a pair of go-to rain boots we reserve for the dreariest days. While ours come from L.L. Bean, Rihanna favors Tom Ford thigh-highs in a drizzle. Naturally.

Before heading out to London's Cuckoo Club in Friday night's soggy weather, the 25-year-old singing sensation shared a photo on Instagram implying that the fashion designer gifted her over-the-knee boots fresh from his fall 2013 collection. Rihanna posted the following photo, captioned, "My baby daddy loves me!!!! #TomFord I love you! Thank you!":

That box certainly looks big enough to hold the high-end thigh-highs she wore to puddle-jump her way through the evening. Rihanna has been fond of S&M-inspired footwear for quite sometime -- which she prefers to pair with bare legs. Hey, statement shoes sure are one way to cancel out the "Risky Business" look an oversized white shirt evokes. What do you think of Rihanna's fancy boots?

The Kardashian's rep did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

Lawsuit Coming?

LOS ANGELES — The woman who was kicked by Miguel during a Billboard Music Awards performance continues to suffer cognitive difficulties and has yet to receive any assistance from the R&B singer nearly a month after the incident, her attorney said.

Doctors continue to evaluate Khyati Shah's injuries, but the exchange student from New Zealand has memory loss issues and has been unable to sit for final exams, attorney Vip Bhola said in an interview Thursday.

He said despite efforts to find out more about rehearsals for Miguel's performance and seek help for his client, representatives for the singer and the awards show are practically daring him to sue.

Miguel's representatives have said Miguel is concerned for Shah's well-being and reached out to Bhola to see if they could help.

Bhola said while he's talked with Miguel's attorney, no assistance for his client's medical bills or other expenses have been offered.

The lawyer said Shah, 21, went to the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas and was excited at the prospect of seeing Miguel. The singer-songwriter leaped from one stage to another while singing his hit "Adorn," catching his leg on the back of Shah's head and slamming it into the platform.

Shah later appeared alongside Miguel in a televised interview holding an ice bag on her elbow, a move that Bhola said was offensive.

"They didn't rush her to the hospital," Bhola said. "Instead they rushed a camera to her and an ice pack" and took advantage of a "star-struck, dazed and injured person."

Producers of the Billboard Music Awards declined comment.

"Khyati's wellbeing has been and continues to be of the utmost concern to Miguel," the singer's spokeswoman wrote in a statement released earlier this month.

"She was a fan of Miguel and she's dumbfounded at how she's been treated," Bhola said.

"She had hoped they would truly care about her rather than merely caring about themselves and some imaginary lawsuit they are defending against," he said.

Shah is studying for dual-degrees in politics and philosophy at UCLA. Bhola said she had planned to return to New Zealand for the summer, but her travel will likely be delayed while she continues to undergo treatment and testing for her memory and language issues. He said she has trouble finding words and also has difficulty typing text messages without them turning out garbled.

Despite the issues, Bhola said a lawsuit is not guaranteed.

"The doctors really are in the driver's seat in this situation, not the lawyers," he said. "Once we have that information, we'll be able to make legal evaluations."

As Robin Thicke continues his quest to nab the song of the summer, the singer has announced his sixth studio album will be released on July 30.

"Blurred Lines" is currently enjoying a run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album of the same name will serve as a follow-up to 2011's "Love After War." In addition to T.I. and Pharrell, who appear on Thicke's lead single, Kendrick Lamar will duet on a track called "Give It 2 U."

"The album is called 'Blurred Lines,'" Thicke said during a recent appearance on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club." "I've realized as I've gotten older that we all think we're living either in a black or white world, or on a straight path, but most of us are living right inbetween those straight lines. And everything you thought you knew, the older you get, you realize, I don't know nothing about this. I better pay attention, I better listen and keep learning.' So I think that, that's what I've been realizing these past few years."

"Blurred Lines" is Thicke's first No. 1 single, although 2007's "Lost Without U" also made a splash, having since been certified platinum. "Lines" also recently hit No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The second single, "For The Rest Of My Life," was officially released on June 3.

Check out the full track list for "Blurred Lines":

It's A Girl For Kimye!

Congrats go out to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West!

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Saturday June 15, reports TMZ. Both mother and daughter are reportedly fine, adds X17. "Kim and the baby are healthy. Given the baby's early birth date, however, the littlest Kardashian is in an incubator," adds the site.

After months of anticipation, Kardashian finally revealed the sex of her baby on the season premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" on June 2.

Kardashian, 32, and West, 36, went public with their relationship in April 2012, just six months after she filed for divorce from former husband Kris Humphries. Kardashian's divorce was just finalized on June 3.

Although West has yet to propose to Kardashian, the duo is delighted to be first-time parents. And we're sure Kardashian, who admitted countless times that pregnancy was "painful," is eager to get back in pre-baby shape.

"Ever since I felt the baby kick, it's such an amazing feeling, and it's really allowed me to embrace it. Once you feel this movement inside, it's just a whole different experience, so I love it now," she told reporters at the E! Upfront in April. "It was tough at the beginning, but I'm passed all that and I love it now."

Welcome to the family, baby girl!

PHOTOS: Ireland Baldwin Does NOT Look 17

Ireland Baldwin looked well beyond her 17 years dressed in a glamorous, strapless gown at the amFAR Inspiration Gala on Thursday.

The teenage Baldwin stunned in a lot-cut, off-the-shoulders DSquared frock for the event held at New York City's Plaza Hotel on June 13. She kept her makeup simple and styled her hair in a loose up-do. Standing at 6-feet, 2-inches tall, the aspiring model looked like the spitting image of her gorgeous mother, Kim Basinger, the New York Post notes.

This isn't the first time the blond beauty has turned heads. Her personal photos -- which include shots of her wearing bikinis, exercising and hanging out with her dog -- have become quite popular on social media sites. Although she told Vanity Fair she tries to be careful about what she posts, "at the same time it’s kind of fun not to be too careful," she said.

For a model-in-the-making, it makes sense Baldwin would want to share some snapshots.

Modeling isn't the only career she has set her sights on. During a recent interview with "Access Hollywood," Baldwin said she plans to get into acting as well. Her parents have already supported the decision.

Does He Ride A Motorcycle?

Attention, Fonzie fans: Henry Winkler does not ride a motorcycle.

While on NBC's Extra, the "Happy Days" actor admitted that the question he gets asked most often is whether he rides a motorcycle.

The answer is that this short Jew does not know how to ride a motorcycle!" Winkler joked. "I think it is in the Torah to not ride a motorcyle!"

Winkler is well known for the role of Fonzie, a leather-clad auto mechanic on the 1970s series "Happy Days."

He may not be riding a motorcycle around town, but Winkler's hardly been out of the spotlight in the past few years. Not only is he an "Arrested Development" favorite, but he's had a roles on USA's "Royal Pains" and "Children's Hospital."

Rosemarie DeWitt, Ellen Page Get Quirky

The trailer for what appears to be another quirky, heartfelt movie from mumblecore favorite Lynn Shelton ("Your Sister's Sister," "Humpday") has arrived, and it's in keeping with the director's normal understated fare. "Touchy Feely" will premiere first via iTunes on Aug. 1 before opening in theaters Sept. 6.

The movie features Rosemarie DeWitt, who also starred in "Your Sister's Sister," as Abby, a massage therapist who suddenly becomes averse to bodily contact. Abby embarks on an indentity crisis as her brother Paul (Josh Pais) develops a "healing touch." "Touchy Feely" also stars Ellen Page, Allison Janney and Ron Livingston.

Shelton has made a name for herself in the indie-film world thanks to her well-received directorial features as well as her work on a Season 4 episode of "Mad Men" and a Season 1 episode of "New Girl." Boasting what is arguably Shelton's most high-profile cast to date, "Touchy Feely" seems destined to see a reception in keeping with the director's previous efforts.

Another week, another round of celebrity news.

This week, Kate Upton wowed, showing off her incredible body in a bikini on the set of "The Other Woman." But she also made headlines for her dating life -- the model is reportedly seeing "Dancing With the Stars" pro-dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

In other news, Ariel Winter of "Modern Family" debuted a drastic new look. The 15-year-old dyed her jet black locks blond, posting a photo of her 'do on Instagram. But she's not the only star to change her appearance recently -- Jessica Alba and January Jones flaunted their new bangs, while Jennifer Connelly showed off her short haircut.

Also this week, Lindsay Lohan left the Betty Ford Rehab Center and signed into a clinic in Malibu, Calif. Prosecutors, the judge and Lohan's lawyer all agreed that Betty Ford was great for a 30-day program, but not for a 90-day sentence, which LiLo was ordered to complete. She is now at Cliffside Malibu, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Plus, pregnant Halle Berry's fiance admitted they're having a boy, Miley Cyrus and Amanda Bynes had it out, the new Superman revealed his drastic diet and Kim Kardashian's baby bump officially popped.

Gordon Ramsay Sued For Mistreating His Workers

Prepare for a shocker. Gordon Ramsay is being sued for mistreating his employees.

Radar online is reporting that the celebrity chef known for hosting FOX reality TV shows "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Hell’s Kitchen" is facing a class action lawsuit brought by employees of his Los Angeles restaurant The Fat Cow. The lawsuit doesn't involve the frank and at times verbally abusive outbursts that have made Ramsay famous, however. Rather, Ramsay faces allegations of a managerial nature, The Daily Mail points out.

The Fat Cow former and current employees Jennifer Becerra, Montinique Dever, Andrea Bourke and Lauren Benge said they were not properly compensated for overtime hours, and also were forced to work through meal times and other breaks.

For more on the allegations against Ramsay click over to Radar Online.

In April, Ramsay faced two separate lawsuits over unpaid bills, one from his accountants in New York over an outstanding $75,000 invoice and another from the company he hired to renovate the Fat Cow, which claims it is owed $45,000.

Of the most recent lawsuit, a spokesperson for Ramsay told Radar Online, “we are aware there was a problem with [The Fat Cow's] previous management which has since been changed, but this is totally unacceptable if any truth to it.”

'Psycho' Anniversary Recalls Worst Movie Remakes Ever

$

On April 16, 1960, the dawn of modern-day horror films was ushered in with the New York premiere of Alfred Hitchcock's now-iconic "Psycho." The story of murderous motel owner Norman Bates and his deranged mommy issues, the film provided a handful of movie milestones. In addition to often being known as the first psychological thriller and the first slasher flick, no movie prior to "Psycho" had shown a toilet flushing. Furthermore, Hitchcock instituted a controversial policy that forbade latecomers from entering the theater, thereby introducing the then-foreign concept of always arriving at movies on time.

The legacy of "Psycho" has only amplified over time. The movie, which collected four Academy Award nominations, sits at No. 18 on AFI's list of the 100 greatest films of all time and at No. 1 on its list of greatest "thrills."

Its influence has many layers, and much of modern horror's qualities can be attributed to Hitchcock's contributions. But there's one aspect in which the 1960 thriller did not serve contemporary culture fittingly: the 1998 shot-for-shot Gus Van Sant remake, which was universally panned and has remained a point of laughter among Hollywood.

So while "Psycho" mostly reminds of us the wonderful inventiveness that it inspired, we can't help but look back to its dreadful redo and consider the many other films that in no way needed another big-screen tryst. Here are 18 movies that should have remained locked and sealed after their releases.

LOOK: Inside Carrie Underwood And Mike Fisher's $2.2-Million Ottawa Home

Former Ottawa Senators player and fan favourite Mike Fisher and his wife, country singer Carrie Underwood, are selling their west Ottawa home for $2.2 million.

The custom-built single-family home at 1135 Spruce Ridge Road has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also features a garage, patio and fireplace, according to the listing last updated on June 13.

Fisher and Underwood had the home built on an 11-acre lot, surrounded by trees, in 2010. But Fisher was soon traded to the Nashville, where Underwood often lived, in the spring of 2011.

According to the listing from Paul Rushforth Real Estate Inc., the home features "a romantic master bedroom with a closet space thought to be conceivable only by imagination."

There is also an enclosed porch with its own fireplace, a fully finished lower level with a wine cellar, home theatre, wet bar, home gym and locker storage, according to the listing.

Fisher continues to play in Nashville, where he admittedly wanted to live after marrying Underwood, with his current contract ending in 2015.

Rushforth posted a YouTube video in mid-April showing a tour of the home. You can watch it below.

'Tanning Mom' Sent To Detox After Being Intoxicated At Airport

MINNEAPOLIS — A New Jersey woman widely known as "the tanning mom" was sent to a temporary detox facility after allegedly being intoxicated at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Patrick Hogan says airport police were called to the Delta ticket counter Thursday because of an intoxicated woman.

Hogan says Patricia Krentcil wasn't arrested but was taken to a detox facility to sober up. He didn't know if or when she had been released. She couldn't be reached at her home number Saturday.

Krentcil was accused of child endangerment in April 2012 for allegedly taking her then 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth. A grand jury declined to indict her.

Hogan says intoxicated travelers go to detox if they can't care for themselves or be released into another's custody.

Pat Gallagher: What Was George Clooney Like As A Child? His Father Tells All

$
0
0

"Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad." - Proverb

Nick Clooney -- brother of Rosemary, father of George and Ada, husband of Nina -- is a man of many talents. Over the span of his long, successful career, Clooney has taken a turn as a news anchor, starred in his own TV show (The Nick Clooney Show), hosted a local game show (The Money Maze), wrote a column for The Cincinnati Post, hosted a national television show (American Movie Classics), ran for Congress, and, with son George, became an activist for Darfur. The man obviously never sleeps! (And, for the record, he's charming, has a delightful sense of humor and is a true southern gentleman.)

The Kentucky native's look-a-like son is one of the most notable actors on the planet. People pay attention. The headlines never stop. ("Ball ironing"? Seriously? Stop! We're not even going to go there!) The Oscar-winning actor's body of work can be matched only by a select few in the Hollywood community. Nick was kind enough to sit down with The Huffington Post to share his memories of being a father for the past 52 years to that famous guy (whose sense of humor keeps him grounded) -- and perhaps spilled a cute little revelation about the teenage jester, George Clooney, that will bring a laugh or two. Who doesn't like cute kid stories? (If we only had the photos!)

Hey, Nick, how are you?

I'm just fine. I'm better off than you. I don't envy you.

(Laughs) You should. I'm talking to you!

That makes my point for me. I wrote a column for 18 years for The Cincinnati Post -- three a week -- and the one I could never pull off was the cute kid stories.

We're going to pull that off today, how's that?

You can do it. (Laughs)

There's nothing more important in life than being a good parent, as you know. You're a father. I know your son is one of the most famous actors in the world, but he's still your son. So let's talk about the part of his life as it pertains to the two of you.

I must tell you, I've spent most of my life doing the best I could to tell the truth because I've been a reporter all my life, so I have to tell you I think there's a whole bunch of overblown [statistics] of this parent stuff. I think they come out pretty much the kind of people they're going to be. They come out of the womb that way. We have very little to do with it. I tell you, if he were a serial killer, this would be an entirely different conversation you and I would be having, and I'd be running away from you.

But the most important fact is he's not a serial killer. You did a darn good job. He's absolutely one of the nicest actors I've ever interviewed in my life! So polite and gracious! You and your wife obviously raised him right!

It's in his nature. I wonder at it myself. I see him in really tough situations, and he'll make a call. He'll return the call. It's amazing. I would have ducked down and closed the door for a week or two after some of the things he's been through. But he didn't. So I salute him. He's turned out to be kind of a great guy.

In my research, I was looking at some photos, and I was just amazed at how much George looks like you when you were a young man. It's uncanny. Has your son gotten around to thanking you for his good looks?

I always thought he'd outgrow it. (Laughs)

He's like a little clone of you.

Believe me, not on my best day did I look as good as George. Not ever.

I saw the pictures. I beg to differ.

Someone must have retouched them. (Laughs)

OK, I want the cute kid stories. When you're sitting around the dinner table at Christmas or Thanksgiving, do you have a favorite story that you like to keep sharing with the family and friends -- family tales of a young George?

Sure, he did things. George had a kind of a sense of irony and justice from the very beginning. When he was very, very little -- maybe three -- we were at his grandparents, and there was a puppy there. He was playing with the puppy and the puppy snapped at him. That was the first time that had ever happened to him, and he was outraged. And he cried, but he also picked the puppy up and bit it. (Laughs) What a perfect sense of justice. The puppy was just as outraged as he was. That's one of the stories we talk about.

How cute is that. Did the puppy have to get a rabies shot?

(Big laugh) That's the tag of that story. You picked it perfectly. No, neither one of them had to get shots.

When he was a little guy, grade school age, do you have a favorite Father's Day gift he gave you?

When the kids were little, school would just be out, and they would have just made the most important decision, which is what to give mom. Mother's Day is important. Father's Day is an afterthought. (Laughs) And so they would all of a sudden remember, just having started summer vacation, "Oh, good heavens, I've got to get something done for pop." So then they would hurry up and makeshift something, and it would always be great! George is a wonderful caricaturist, and he made wonderful caricatures of me. I have a drawer full of them. All of them, unfortunately, look exactly like me. (Laughs) He captures me perfectly.

How many has he done over the years?

Oh, heaven knows. As a matter of fact, in high school he went to a festival in a nearby town and he sold caricatures. People would sit down, and he would do a caricature for five bucks. I imagine some of those are framed in Kentucky households.

Did you frame yours?

Oh, he signed mine, and as a matter of fact, I put them on the front of my collection of columns that I published 120 years ago. He's very talented. My daughter would make little ties for me. Those [Father's Day presents] are wonderful memories in every household.

When you were guiding George through those teen years from 13 to 18, how did that play out?

The [key] was a sense of humor. Even if we were having a difference about who should get the car and when, even if it got a little heated, we would find something -- either right at that moment or soon after -- that was funny; that always seemed to get us through.

We were a very progressive family in a very red state so that didn't always mix well. The way George tells it now -- they would be very young, maybe going through their puberty years -- we'd be in some restaurant where there would be a gathering, one of those chicken and peas dinners you would go to and you'd bring your family. Somebody would say something that, to me, was outrageous, and I would start a discussion. The discussion would get more heated, and as George and Ada watched, he told me later, as soon as he saw that I was getting pretty upset about what this other person was saying, he would call the waiter over and both George and Ada would make sure that they got their dessert because they knew I was going to be walking out. (Laughs) So they got their dessert first before I stormed out and gave one of these big ridiculous speeches: "Oh, yeah! So's your old man!" (Laughs) George and Ada would be furiously getting the chocolate cake down. He tells that story regularly now.

Are there any other cute stories you'd like to share?

There's one I've never been able to write. The funniest story that I remember about George and his teen years happened on Easter. There was a very, very rare earthquake that occurred in Kentucky. Our little town was not far from the epicenter. It was a significant one, 5.6. The cornices were falling off the houses. Nina and I were gone to the in-laws, and we were driving back. George stayed home because he was going to do a little show for the little kids for Easter.

Up in the attic we had a trunk full of stuff we had used on television, costumes and little props. He was in the attic, and he found a wonderful old full-length rabbit suit with the ears that were crooked and the great big feet and the big fluffy tail. And he thought, "Boy, this would be funny. I wonder if I can get into that thing?"

He put it on in the attic and the earthquake occurred at that moment. Everyone ran out into the street scared to death. And George, in full regalia, in the rabbit suit, came running out into the street, and the lady across the street -- a very religious woman -- looked at him and thought that the pit of hell opened up and all the animals were coming out. She screamed and very near fainted. She sat on the porch, and George finally had to take the head off so that she would see that it was him and everything was OK.

So getting that visual: earthquake in Kentucky and George in a full-length rabbit suit, big feet and all, awkwardly running out into the street, and this woman fainting at the rabbit coming out of hell. (Laughs)

I want that picture. George Clooney in a rabbit suit. You just send that to me. I'll frame that one.

(Big laugh)

I didn't realize that George played baseball and basketball in high school and tried out for the Cincinnati Reds. Were you hoping at that point in his life that he would become a professional baseball player instead of an actor?

I knew that he would in one way or another end up in a public business. That was just in the cards. He was just too gregarious and too talented and too funny not to be in the business. If athletics was the way that went, that would be great. I, naturally, was hoping it would be broadcasting. I was hoping it would be news. He has a wonderful sense of current events. And if sports had worked out, that would be great. I love the Cincinnati Reds. I lived and breathed them most of my life. If it was going to be that, great; if it was going to be news, great; if it was going to be the best disc jockey in Ashland, KY, that would have been fine. Instead it turned out to be what it did.

Did George ever give any serious thought to becoming a news anchor like his dad?

We talked about that a lot. I talked about broadcasting generally. When he first got interested in the idea of acting, which was a little later in his teenage years -- actually after he got out of high school -- I was arguing against it. I was saying how silly that was, what a dumb idea for him to be an actor. I said, "George, let's look at the numbers. How many people are making a real living as an actor right now in the world? In the United States, maybe 5,000?" I said there are probably 50,000 of us making a living in broadcasting. So I was pushing him hard. Of course, the moral of this story is: always listen to your father.

Does your son take advice from his dad now that he's over 50?

Of course not. Never did and never will. (Laughs) And we now know how smart he was not to take my advice.

Do you ever wish he would take your advice now?

I got over that in a hurry. Before things started working for George, you could tell that he had found a place that fit. He was content. Then I butted out.

What's the best advice you gave your son that he actually took to heart?

You know I don't think there was ever a thing that I said to him that ever worked perfectly. I asked him once that same question. I said, "Did I ever give you any advice that was worthwhile?" He thought about it for a minute or two and he said, "You told me never to mix grape with grain."

Well, there you go. He understood that logic, right?

That's one. (Laughs)

I'm a huge fan of your sister, Rosemary Clooney. What a singer! She had a beautiful voice.

You've got great taste.

Do you sing?

I had two sisters and I was the third best singer in the family so I decided I better start talking for a living. I sing like everybody sings at the family reunion. I'm that guy. But, no, I was raised with two world-class singers so I decided I better find out something else to do for a living. Rosemary wasn't just a world-class singer, she was a world-class sister. She also had a vibrant sense of humor. I think that's what I miss most of all. I miss the laughter. We laughed all the time.

Does George have a good singing voice?

He sings like me. He certainly has a presentable voice for a friend's gathering, but, no, he's not going to knock Bing Crosby off the charts.

I think he's doing just fine...

Without singing... (laughs)

He found his niche, and he's pretty darn successful. You must be a proud father.

That I am. I'm very proud the way he handles things and how he thinks. I'm very proud of his priorities. I'm a very lucky dad.

When George was growing up, did you teach him to follow his dreams or his heart?

You know, I don't suppose... I'm not sure those are inseparable, are they really? Let me think about that. I would suppose that would be pretty much the same thing. All I always said, "There are things that you believe and I believe. We believe that we should always help people that have less power than we, and we should always challenge people who have more power. We should always be suspicious of all power, especially any we get ourselves." Every time I look at him and listen to him, I think that he subscribes to that.

I have to ask you about George's pet pig, Max. I love farm animals. Did you get along with Max?

Max, the wonderful pig. Yes, Max and I were pals. At George's house, Max had his own house outside. But he would always come in the morning and lay across the doorstep outside so nobody could get in or out without stepping over Max which was no small [feat]. And he thought he was a great singer. He was a terrible singer, but very loud. He sang all day long.

What's your greatest wish for your two children from this moment on?

What I wish for my children is that what they are striving for comes true. I also hope, at the end of the day, they have as great a life as I've had.

'Call Of The Wildman': Deer Trapped In Consignment Shop

It was certainly a dangerous task on "Call of the Wildman" this week. Ernie "Turtleman" Brown received a call from a store owner because of a wild animal that had gotten itself trapped in his consignment shop. A buck had jumped through the window and couldn't figure out how to get back out.

The frightened animal proved quite a handful for Turtleman and his team to corral and gain control of. At 300 pounds, this 8-point buck was powerful enough to do real damage. They managed to get a hold of him and opted to blindfold him in order to help calm the deer.

As it was mating season for deer, the guys theorized this played a roll in the deer finding itself inside the store. During mating season, bucks fight one another, so it was possible this buck picked a fight with his own reflection in the shop's window.

Oddly enough, this isn't as unprecedented as it might seem. In 2011, one deer found itself in a cell phone store, while another made its way into a beauty shop in 2012. Perhaps the wildest story, though, happened earlier this year. A deer leapt from a man's trunk during a police stop.

Find out what animal Turtleman must square off against next on "Call of the Wildman," Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Animal Planet.
