Kanye's Going With 'Yeezus'

Fresh off debuting a new music video via 66 guerrilla style projections shown on buildings all around the world, Kanye West has some more news to share with the music-listening community. West's sixth studio album will be released June 18 (as previously hinted in West's tweet) and be titled "Yeezus."

Rap-Up confirmed the news on Saturday. West is due to perform two songs on "Saturday Night Live," and sources tell The Huffington Post that he'll debut a previously unheard song as part of the show.

This isn't the first time "Yeezus" has been tossed around. Kid Cudi (formerly signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label) coined the term well over a year ago (a tip of the hat to Complex for the find). West also famously posed for a Rolling Stone cover wearing a crown of thorns.

Drake Joins Kanye In 'Anchorman 2'

Drake started from the bottom and now he's in "Anchorman 2." The Canadian rap star was spotted on the set of "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" on Saturday afternoon in New York.

Drake, who famously appeared on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," joins fellow hip-hop icon Kanye West in the cameo-heavy "Anchorman" sequel. West was photographed on the film's Atlanta set on May 10. Similar photographic evidence of Drake on the set of "Anchorman 2" below:

Drake wasn't the only "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" star filming in New York on Saturday afternoon: Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd were seen walking the streets as well. The highly anticipated sequel is loaded with talent in addition to Drake, West, Ferrell, Rudd and Applegate: Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Sacha Baron Cohen co-star in the film too.

Saturday was a busy day for "Anchorman" fans. Paramount released a new teaser trailer for the film, which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 20. Check out the New York Daily News for more pics of Ferrell and Applegate in costume.

Kanye West Debuts 'Black Skinhead'

Kanye West hit the stage during the May 18 episode of "Saturday Night Live" to perform some new music.

The 35-year-old West performed a new track called "Black Skinhead," rapping the song in the middle of the show. Wearing a studded black leather jacket and jumping around in front of a screen that featured the words NOT FOR SALE intercut with barking dogs, the rapper worked his way through an energetic track that includes lyrics that are filtered through a loud-speaker effect. Censores seemed to miss West's use of the n-word, which made it to broadcast during the East Coast feed.

West also performed "New Slaves," a song that he debuted by projecting it on the sides of buildings across the world.

His stint on "SNL" was one that the musician seemed less than enthused about. In the promos for the episode, hosted by actor Ben Affleck, West appeared apathetic and serious.

He also addressed the gig at a recent performance. "Someone asked me, 'When you do 'SNL,' are you going to do a skit about the paparazzi and humanize yourself?'" West said during a show, referencing his recent run-in with the paparazzi. "What the f--k do I have to apologize for? When did I become inhuman? Or was it them demonizing me and harassing me that made me less than human?"

Kanye West hit "Saturday Night Live" this weekend for a performance of two tracks. The rapper was the musical guest on Saturday night's episode, hosted by Ben Affleck.

West took the stage to perform "New Slaves" and "Black Skinhead" during the episode. Censors seemed to miss a number of choice words, as West was audibly heard using the n-word during both songs.

The performance was the second big Kanye stunt in as many days. The 35-year-old rapper premiered "New Slaves," by projecting audio and video for the song on the sides of buildings across the world.

At a recent performance, West shot down rumors that he would participate in a sketch on the show. "Someone asked me, 'When you do 'SNL,' are you going to do a skit about the paparazzi and humanize yourself?'" West said during the show on Wednesday, referencing a recent run-in with the paparazzi. "What the f--k do I have to apologize for? When did I become inhuman? Or was it them demonizing me and harassing me that made me less than human?"

The episode also marked the end of cast member Bill Hader's run with the program. The season finale was Hader's last episode of "SNL," after eight years on the show.

Will Keira Knightley become the Yoko Ono of new husband James Righton's band? He doesn't think so.

In an interview with NME Monday, Righton said he wasn't worried that his recent marriage to Knightley would change the public's perception of his band, Klaxons.

"I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing. We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love," Righton said. "The music is the music. That thing is going to be there because of who she is, but I'd say we're a pretty established band."

Klaxons frontman Jamie Reynolds described the wedding as "a big party."

"It was the greatest day ever, it was fantastic. We're still high from it," he said.

Knightley and Righton married on May 4 at the town hall in Mazan, France. They held a reception at their home in nearby Avignon. They began dating in 2011 and got engaged in May 2012.

See who else has gotten married this year in the slideshow below.

Founding Member Of The Doors Dies

Ray Manzarek, most known as a founding member of the '60s rock band The Doors, is dead. According to a message posted on the band's Facebook page, Manzarek died of bile duct cancer while in Rosenheim, Germany, on May 20. He was 74. Wife Dorothy Manzarek and brothers Rick and James were by his side.

An excerpt from the Facebook announcement is below:

"Manzarek is best known for his work with The Doors who formed in 1965 when Manzarek had a chance encounter on Venice Beach with poet Jim Morrison. The Doors went on to become one of the most controversial rock acts of the 1960s, selling more than 100-million albums worldwide … After Morrison's death in 1971, Manzarek went on to become a best-selling author, and a Grammy-nominated recording artist in his own right. In 2002, he revitalized his touring career with Doors' guitarist and long-time collaborator, Robby Krieger."

Doors guitarist Robby Krieger also confirmed the news in the Facebook message, releasing this statement: "I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek. I'm just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him."

The Chicago-born Manzarek met Morrison while studying film at UCLA. The two went on to create one of the most iconic bands of the '60s, described by Rolling Stone as possessing "eerie, powerful, almost shamanistic invocations." The band's name comes from the drug-trip book by Aldous Huxley, "The Doors of Perception."

After Morrison's death at age 27 in 1971, Manzarek released several more albums, including a collaboration with composer Philip Glass and two solo albums.

Scandalous Nickelodeon Star On 'Mad Men'

Note: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Season 6, Episode 8 of AMC's "Mad Men," titled "The Crash."

This week's extra trippy "Mad Men" saw an intruder not only in Don Draper's apartment (hey, Grandma Ida!), but another in his office.

The mysterious Wendy (Alexa Nikolas) showed up at SDPCGC and with everyone high on speed serum, started doing psychic "readings" with three coins. When she asked Don for a question, she told the very confused and very sweaty ad man that he "can just think of it" without saying it aloud.

Seemingly minutes later -- though time flies when you've had speed serum injected into your gluteus -- Don walked into his office and Wendy was there on his couch. "You want to get it on?" she asked, noting she was there "to make [him] feel better." (You can watch the scene above.)

Though Don rejected her, Peggy (Elisabeth Olson) later saw Cutler (Harry Hamlin) creepily watching Stan (Jay R. Ferguson) and Wendy "get it on." At the end of the episode, viewers minds were blown when they found out that Wendy was Frank Gleason's daughter, who Cutler brought to SDPCGC after Frank's funeral.

If Wendy looked familiar, you're either a fan of the late Jamie Lynn Spears vehicle "Zoey 101" on Nickelodeon or a "Walking Dead" watcher. (Don't worry, we won't tell.)

Nikolas, a 21-year-old Chicago native, got her big break on "Zoey 101" as boy-crazy Nicole, one of Zoey's (Spears) roommates at a posh co-ed boarding school, who left after two seasons when her character came down with Obsessive Male Gender Disorder (OMGD). (Seriously.)

In the years following "Zoey," Nikolas appeared on many other TV shows, including "Judging Amy," "CSI: Miami," "Supernatural" and "Heroes." But in 2011, she made headlines for a different reason. A photo leaked of the actress kissing Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, who had previously dealt with a nude photo scandal.

But Nikolas' reputation didn't suffer: The actress won the recurring role of Woodbury's resident archer Haley on Season 3 of "The Walking Dead" before earning the opportunity to hit on Don on "Mad Men."

Hidden behind the drum kit in this Sum 41 soundcheck video is an 8-year-old by the name of Jonah Rocks. According to his Facebook page, the tiny, tenacious drummer had the opportunity to play with the Canadian rock band earlier this year, jamming out to "Still Waiting" like a pro.

Jonah has been playing the drums since the age of three and skyrocketed to viral fame a year later when his rendition of "Toxicity" by System Of A Down hit YouTube. Since then the talented young rocker has met and played with Travis Barker (Blink 182), Jay Weinberg (Against Me), and Branden Steineckert (Rancid).

We applaud Jonah for his preferred taste in new American punk rock. For more of his adorable drum skills, check out the video below, which shows the prodigy at the tender age of 6 playing along to Foo Fighters. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Bret Michaels: The Worst Thing For A Singing Voice Is...

$

Singer and songwriter Bret Michaels knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a rockstar -- and he has some surprising advice for hopeful musicians on how to keep your voice healthy for long performances.

On a recent HuffPost Live segment, Michaels told host Ricky Camilleri that getting proper rest is the best way to sustain high performance as a rock singer.

"The thing that will kill you more than alcohol is being tired," Michaels said. "If you're worn out and wiped out, your voice gets gravely. I've been blessed with the ability for my voice to heal quickly. Don't get me wrong, rock is tough ... but if you can get a little sleep and exercise, it helps get that blood flowing."

And he's right: A 2011 University of South Australia study found that fatigue can compromise vocal performance by causing significant voice changes. Getting enough sleep can also help keep stress levels in check, improve memory and spur creativity, and even boost longevity, among other health benefits.

On the court, Dwyane Wade is an all-star guard for the Miami Heat. But off the court, he plays doting single dad to sons Zion and Zaire, whom he has full custody of.

And in the latest issue of Jet magazine, on newsstands now, Wade opens up about fatherhood and his relationship with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade.

"I didn’t set out to get full custody but I wasn’t able to see my kids the way I wanted and I’m not a parent who’s going to run away from his responsibilities," Wade told the magazine (via Madame Noir). "I was probably a terrible husband, but I pride myself on being a good dad.”

The NBA star was awarded sole custody of his kids, ages 11 and 5 in March 2011, though the exes are still working out a time-share agreement.

“It’s been six years and hopefully one day she and I can get to the point where it’s a lot easier than it is now to co-parent,” he said of his ex.

Last month, reports surfaced that the NBA star is paying his ex $25,000 a month, in addition to her living and travel expenses (estimated at $10,000 per month) and the reported $1 million lump sum he paid her when the divorce was finalized in June 2010.

The New 'X Factor' Judges Are ...

The new "X Factor" judges have been confirmed as Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio, Fox announced today. They'll join returning judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato when "The X Factor" Season 3 premieres in September.

“It’s taken more than a decade, but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!)," Cowell said in a statement. "Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”

“I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and 'The X Factor' family,” said Rowland. “It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!”

“I love 'The X Factor'! I can’t wait to find the next big music star here in America,” added Rubio. “I’m so thrilled to be part of the show as a judge. Simon, be careful what you wish for, let’s see if you are ready to handle me, empieza la fiesta, amigo!”

“We are thrilled that Kelly and Paulina are joining Demi on the panel this season, in what is sure to be a triple threat of talented and successful women against Simon week-to-week,” said Mike Darnell, President, Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “This is an incredible panel of judges and we can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for Season 3 of 'The X Factor.'”

“Kelly’s incredible talent as a member of one of the world’s most successful groups, Destiny’s Child, combined with her judging experience as part of the U.K. version of ‘The X Factor,’ make her an ideal choice to join this talented panel,” said Trish Kinane, executive producer for FremantleMedia North America. “Paulina is an amazing Latin superstar who brings glamour and fiery passion to the judges’ table. We welcome both of them in joining Simon, Demi and Mario in what will prove to be an exciting season.”

Rumors began to circulate on May 19 that the former Destiny's Child member and Latin singer/actress were nearing deals to replace Britney Spears and L.A. Reid for the reality show's third US season.

The clock has been ticking for Cowell and Fox to firm up the judging panel ahead of the competition's first audition show in Charleston, South Carolina on May 21.

Rowland already had experience with "The X Factor," having served as a judge on Season 8 of the original UK series. Rubio also has her share of reality experience, having coached on "The Voice Mexico" and signed on for upcoming offshoot "The Voice Kids" for Telemundo.

According to The Wrap, "The X Factor" took a different approach this season in trying to identify replacements for Spears and Reid -- reportedly placing judging panel chemistry with Cowell and Lovato ahead of simple name recognition, which is a marked difference from the strategies of rivals "American Idol" and "The Voice," which secured Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Shakira and Usher for their latest cycles. It's a plan that might pay off -- if a public figure as controversial as Spears couldn't boost the ratings, it's unlikely that another high profile artist could, short of Beyonce or Bieber.

As previously reported, Mario Lopez will return to the competition series as a host without Khloe Kardashian Odom.

Do you think Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are good judging choices? Who would you rather see beside Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell?

Chrissie Hynde: Don't Get Me Wrong: I Won't Stand For Cruelty to Geese

$

First came Twiggy, then Joanna Lumley, Dame Vera Lynn, Pamela Anderson, and Brigitte Bardot, and now me. With what amounts to a bevy of famous women speaking out for the majority of Britons who want to see a ban on the sale of foie gras, Fortnum & Mason is running out of excuses to profit from the bloated livers of force-fed geese.

As someone who has lived in London for a number of years, I know that Fortnum & Mason strives to be the quintessential British department store. But there is nothing British about ramming a tube down the throats of geese and filling their stomachs with mush. That's why foie gras production is illegal in the UK and more than a dozen other countries and also why Fortnum goes to French farms to stock its shelves. I have watched the undercover video footage that PETA UK shot on these farms, and it's enough to put anyone off their tea and biscuits. Geese raised for the store's foie gras spend their final weeks in cramped pens that reek of the fumes from the waste that accumulates beneath the metal grates on which they're forced to stand. Knowing what it means when the worker with the force-feeding pipe approaches, the terrified geese try desperately to escape, but they have nowhere to go and are too sick and weak to get very far anyway. Some birds are so ill that they can't even stand up - but the workers still mercilessly pump more mush down their throats.

Force-feeding causes the birds' livers to balloon to up to 10 times their normal size and become diseased with what is known as "hepatic steatosis". In addition to being miserably ill with a painful and debilitating disease, the geese can barely breathe because their grotesquely enlarged livers displace their lungs and other internal organs. In PETA's video, geese can be seen panting constantly in a vain attempt to suck oxygen into their squashed lungs. Veterinarian Holly Cheever has compared what force-fed birds endure in their final days to being smothered.

At the abattoir which Fortnum's foie gras suppliers use, the geese are slaughtered by being plunged upside down into 'killing funnels'. The birds are supposed to be stunned before their throats are cut, but PETA's investigator documented a worker who skipped the stunning step as soon as a supervisor wasn't looking. Instead, he simply stabbed the birds in the throat, which is illegal in both France and the UK. Video footage shows obviously conscious geese blinking, gasping, kicking and trying to lift their heads.

All this misery occurs just so that some self-proclaimed 'foodies' can toss a slab of greasy toxin-infused offal onto their toast. Personally, I wouldn't touch the stuff with a 10-foot force-feeding tube. I much prefer the 'faux gras' I sampled recently, which was created by former Manna chef Sean Paul Redding, a magical concoction that includes truffle oil, wild mushrooms, chickpeas and beetroot - but not so much as an ounce of animal abuse. Sean Paul's decadent creation would be at home at even the poshest gathering, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it served at Clarence House since Prince Charles refuses to allow real foie gras to be served at any of his functions.

In addition to Prince Charles, the BAFTAs, the BRIT Awards, Wimbledon, Lord's Cricket Ground and both Houses of Parliament refuse to serve foie gras, and Harvey Nichols and Selfridges refuse to sell it. Numerous animal-protection groups, including the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Compassion in World Farming, Animal Defenders International, Animal Aid, Viva!, Four Paws, OneKind, Save Me and the International Veterinary Society, have joined PETA in calling on Fortnum & Mason to stop selling foie gras.

So what's it going to take, Fortnum & Mason? Will I have to ask my friend Pamela Anderson to run naked through the store? She'll do just about anything for animals, so I wouldn't put it past her.

Antonio To Play Chilean Miner

SANTIAGO, Chile — Antonio Banderas will star in a movie as one of the 33 Chilean miners trapped deep underground for more than two months in 2010, and the charismatic survivor he's playing couldn't be happier.

Mike Medavoy, producer of "The 33," announced on Sunday at the Cannes Film Festival that Banderas will play Mario Sepulveda, who known as "Super Mario" became the public face of the miners.

The film will dramatize the cave-in at a mine in Chile's Atacama desert and the globally televised rescue of the miners that mesmerized millions worldwide.

Sepulveda told the Associated Press on Monday that he's thrilled because he's a fan of the Spanish actor and that he hopes the movie will remind people how life is the most valuable gift.

"I'm very excited and full of anxiety. All of my mates are looking forward to this big production," Sepulveda said. "Banderas is very charismatic. I like him a lot and I think this movie is going to make him even more famous than he already is."

Even in their despair, Sepulveda said, "peace, love, solidarity and teamwork" were shared by the miners who survived entrapment longer than anyone else before.

"There are people who don't realize the value of what they have next to them. And after those 69 days we know that there's nothing as important as being alive, being healthy and enjoying the people you love while you're alive," he said.

The miners said it felt like an earthquake when the shaft caved in above them on Aug. 5, 2010, filling the lower corridors of the copper and gold mine with suffocating dust. Hours passed before they could even begin to see a few steps in front of them. Above them tons of rock shifted constantly, threatening to bury them forever.

People on the surface didn't know for more than two weeks that the men had survived the collapse. The 33 men had stretched a meager 48-hour store of emergency food for 17 days, eating tiny capsules of tuna and sips of expired milk while a narrow shaft finally reached their haven and the world learned they were alive.

The small emergency shaft allowed food and water to be lowered to the miners while rescuers drilled a bigger escape hole. Finally, in the early hours of Oct. 13, the miners were hauled up one-by-one in a cage through 2,000 feet of rock.

Back on the surface they were received as heroes. They got paid trips to the Greek Islands, visited the Real Madrid stadium in Spain and paraded at Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

But the fantasy began to crumble on their return home.

Many ran out of money and had to scratch out a living in the dusty working-class neighborhoods and shantytowns of the desert city of Copiapo. Some began suffering from health and psychological problems. Others took to alcohol and drugs. Most are still kept up at night by memories of their ordeal.

"I'm thankful for things in life," said Sepulveda, an electrician who earns a living giving motivational speeches. "Some are good, others bad, but God gave us another chance ... The door that was opened for us is huge."

Variety magazine say production for "The 33" is scheduled to start in the fall in Chile. The film will be directed by Mexican filmmaker Patricia Riggen. Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Santoro are also on the cast.

WATCH: Elisabeth Moss Was Nervous About Peggy's Future

"Mad Men" fans were understandably nervous when Elisabeth Moss' Peggy Olson departed Sterling Cooper at the end of Season 5, and during a recent visit to "Live with Kelly & Michael," Moss admitted that she was pretty concerned about her character at the time, too.

In fact, Moss didn't find out about Peggy's departure until she was filming the episode before it. "It was unusual that [Matthew Weiner] didn't tell me. He usually tells me what's happening, pitches me things to ask me how they sound," she said in a 2012 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"There's supposed to be a phone call that happens before that, that lets you know that something's coming," she said on "Kelly & Michael." "You don't wanna get that phone call."

Everything worked out for the best for Peggy, who is still an integral part of "Mad Men's" sixth season, but before the season began, Moss told The Huffington Post that she had definitely been worried that she was about to become unemployed.

"The first question out of my mouth when Matt [Weiner] told me the storyline, I was like, 'That sounds great. Am I still in the show?' I was like, 'What does that mean?' and he assured me that everything was going to be fine," she admitted. "But then I couldn't talk about it, so when it aired, everybody was like, 'Oh my God, is she leaving?' and I couldn't say anything and I said to Matt, 'What do you want me to say? What do you want me to tell people, because everyone's asking me if I'm coming back?' And [he says] what he always says to me which is, 'They're just going to have to watch and see.'"

"Mad Men" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.

ABC has signed judges, cast and a host for its new competition series "Sing Your Face Off," and it’s quite a unique collection of famous names.

Heather Wagner: 'Hot In Orange County'

Note: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Season 8, Episode 8 of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Orange County," titled "Hot in Orange County."

It has come to my attention that many viewers dislike this show so intensely that they can't bear to tune in, yet still harbor a nagging desire to know what's elapsed each week. Thus, my role is to be your "Real Housewives of Orange County" seeing-eye dog. A role I happily accept -- I "Watch What Happens" so you don't have to!

On this auspicious note, here we are at Season 8, Episode 8. It's Heather's first day on set of "Hot in Cleveland." She interviews that family is her number one priority, but this year she's been trying to work on her creative side while "servicing my family." A weird turn of phrase, but okay. We hear that Heather doesn't need to solve her issues with Terry right now, instead she just wants him to support her and "handle things."

Meanwhile, Tamra breezes in to an OC jewelry store/bling emporium. She thinks that if she gets things rolling by buying her and Eddie's wedding rings their wedding will actually materialize. Then, totally coincidentally, former "Real Housewife" Lauri strolls in, with an eye-popping sparkly top and triple-decker platinum locks. There's some champagne and talk about Eddie's "ring size." Lauri reveals that when it comes to marriage, the third time's the charm. She then interviews that she and George are happily "blending the family" and that he is her "rock."

Frankly, I hate it when anyone refers to their spouse as their "rock." In my head it's an image of Faith Hill chained to Sisyphus, and my dislike of adult contemporary country music combined with a latent frustration at not remembering much from Greek Mythology 101 comes to a head and I need a gin and tonic to get back on track.

Whew! Hendricks gin is herbaceous! Apparently, Lauri's troubled brood all seem to be doing just fine, which if you remember from seasons past was not the most likely outcome. Good for them. Then, Lauri makes a swipe at Vicki's ex-husband Don Gunvalson, and she and Tamra start hating on Brooks because that is what you do to elicit screen time on this show. Lauri denounces Vicki as a person who can't take criticism, and then just goes for it and posits that Vicki played a role in breaking up Tamra and her ex-husband Simon.

Thank God we're now at Lydia's house, where we learn that her rad stoner mom Judy lives right across the street. Which, we can tell, is a mixed blessing. The reluctant mother-daughter duo page through old photo albums, back when Judy was a freewheeling brunette, smokin' some weed and exposing some side boob.

Lydia reveals, again, that she could never talk to her mom when she was younger because Judy was high all the time. Then she shares that in high school, a group of her girlfriends broke in to their house and wrote "POT ROCKS" on the wall. Is this an incident of life-altering adolescent trauma or just sort of awesome?

Now we're with Heather on set of "Hot in Cleveland." Heather networks with Wendie Malick, who looks fabulous in a black and white striped dress that I am actively Google Image-searching as I write this. Heather explains the intricate process of a table read, in which the actors read through the script. Heather's role appears to be not so far afield, as she is playing a character starring in the "True Housewives." Hah.

Betty White pops in and gives a perfunctory hello as Heather networks around saying she knows everybody and remembers them all fondly from something or another.

Far across town, in a perhaps less robustly funded studio lot, Alexis enters a sad looking "The Actors Workshop" whose interior boasts a word-wall art piece that says "FILM." Alexis shares her "General Hospital" bona-fides, followed by a priceless bit of archival footage of her (sporting fascinatingly serpentine extensions) playing a news anchor on "General Hospital" delivering the late breaking news in Port Charles. There is some high-level industry talk about whether Tom Hanks became "Forrest Gump" or vice versa.

Over on Dubrow Marital Tension Storyline Boulevard, Terry haphazardly parents while Heather is away filming. The kids seem cranky, then Heather calls saying she's on her way home. "Not so easy there at home with the kids," Heather gloats, and then relates that it's good for Terry to do it alone, for a change.

Meanwhile Gretchen and Slade have apparently had a fabulous romantic getaway at L`Auberge Del Mar in San Diego. As they exit this tony resort hotel, a hideous white Diddy video-outtake Rolls Royce pulls up to the curb and Gretchen freaks out.

"Is this mine? I need a driver for this!" she screams, in awe. Then, as reality sets in, asks of Slade, "Are we rich all of a sudden and I missed it?"

It's all very sweet but understandably disconcerting. Gretchen digs a bit deeper and the truth comes out. "The lease on this car is a couple hundred dollars more than your Mercedes," Slade says, gently, and it appears as though Gretchen will be providing the monthly payments for her birthday dream car.

Punishing Birthday Lease notwithstanding, everybody is heading to Los Angeles to witness Heather's acting debut: Gretchen, Slade, Lydia, Tamra, their overly groomed significant others ... everyone but Alexis, who is back at The Acting Workshop. And looking undeniably bombshell-y, to be honest. Then she opens her mouth.

"Change the oil in my car," she says, in the least sexually charged oil-changing scene ever to be captured on camera. "Oil. Grease. Tools. None of this interests me."

Next we're on the set of "Hot In Cleveland," where Heather deftly undermines that the rest of the girls will be "really excited" because they've never been on a "real set" before. Tamra glowers that sitting through a taping is a lot of work, especially watching it all "over and over again", and Vicki hustles in, in a blazing chartreuse power suit. An admirable warm-up comedian named Johnny Hamburger or something gets the crowd prepped.

But Gretchen is MIA.

Heather says her favorite part of performing involves looking up to "see my peeps," but then she sees empty seats where Gretchen and Slade should be -- and another manufactured fight is born.

Undaunted, Heather performs her scenes, and is "rocking it," according to Lydia. Gretchen and Slade arrive, late, and then, to top it off, Slade has some issue with his iPhone and the couple has to get up from their Studio Audience seats and wrangle with the most user-friendly technology the 21st century has to offer. Heather delivers the line: "I will cut you like bad bangs, b---h!" and signs some autographs and everyone seems proud, including Terry.

The after-party takes place in a weird boozy cafeteria. The Vicki-Tamra interaction is quite mild, considering last week's Wine Wives of Winetown meltdown. There is incoherent talk of things festering inside each other's souls. Tamra accurately assesses that Vicki was so defensive because she's alone in a sea of happy couples, and is flummoxed at the group's insistence on disparaging her wayward boyfriend Brooks. The two women agree that they are both b----es and it's the most unexpected but perhaps most understated and genuine truce thus far.

Terry then gives a toast about being very proud of his wife, and it seems like the Dubrows are in turnaround. Kudos, Mazel, etc.! Tamra admits she's falling in love with Heather, Lydia busts out some (non-narcotic) party poppers and this episode ends on a surprisingly positive note!

Next week: Is Gretchen fertile? Does Tamra's mom love her? Is Alexis real? Do come back as I piece it together for you all, most lovely viewers and non-viewers!

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Backstage Drama Leads To 'Nashville' Changes

"Nashville" has the dubious honor of being the only freshman ABC drama to receive a Season 2 pickup, but according to Deadline, there will be some changes when the show returns in the fall.

Line producer Loucas George and production supervisor Don Bensko, along with their team on the ground in Nashville, did not have their contracts renewed for a second season, and were reportedly never notified by the studio. This prompted Bensko's wife Micaela to pen an impassioned open letter to the entertainment industry, noting the long hours, production delays and behind-the-scenes friction between executives in Los Angeles and those creating the show in Nashville:

You know you've made it in Hollywood, when a studio replaces your team, and doesn't even bother to call ...

Nashville was a town unrigged for the immediacy of needs by a television series. Lionsgate had never done a network series. It had a star who worried, and a creator who cared so much it broke his heart, a community that was filled with pride, a small cafe with bluebirds that became famous overnight, and in the midst of it all, a life on the crew was almost lost; It happened during a string of endless and exhausting shoot days. This is not new to production, but a string of delayed scripts and tripping storylines kept everyone on edge. Then one of our crew lost his footing while rigging for a huge arena shoot at The Bridgestone Arena. He fell twenty feet and could have died. So he could make a living ...

The studios will argue they must shoot long hours because of their budget, the deadlines, the people that call them at midnight. The reality is, nothing is important when the humanity in the process is lost. When the writers' hands are tied. And when the very people who broke their backs to create something special were never even told they were being replaced. Like my husband and Loucas George. Not a phone call or a thank you for all they had done. I am so tired of seeing the emotional toll the industry takes on so many in production and on the crew who work so hard all for a paycheck and a wrap party they are too exhausted to attend.

According to the letter, creator Callie Khouri did reach out to the Benskos after learning about the crew's treatment: "Upon hearing of the news, and how things were handled, she called Don. She made Don smile because she told him he mattered. She shared in the loss and that he will be missed. And she reminded me, a production wife, that there are good people in this industry who truly do wish that they could make it different."

In addition to the crew shake-up, Deadline also reported rumors of difficulties between production companies ABC Studios and Lionsgate, "and other behind-the-scenes issues, including star Britton being unhappy with the experience" during Season 1.

While the intention is reportedly to keep production of the series in Nashville despite the writer's room being based in Los Angeles, Deadline suggests that it largely depends on available tax incentives from the state of Tennessee.

Still, much of the show's current backstage maneuvering shouldn't be apparent in terms of what appears on screen in Season 2, and ABC is banking on the charisma of Britton and co-star Hayden Panettiere to help grow the show's modest ratings from its Season 1 average of 1.8 in the adults 18-49 demo.
