PHOTOS: Victoria Beckham Makes A '70s-Inspired Statement

$

Victoria Beckham knows how to make a statement. Be it with her signature pout, an angular haircut or her adorable baby girl, the designer certainly knows how to turn heads.

On a trip to New York City this weekend, The Artist Formerly Known As Posh Spice went shopping (naturally) in a spring look that packed major drama despite NYC's climbing temps. Victoria solved the age-old conundrum of staying cool AND looking cool at the same time by sporting a dramatic camel-colored vest. Part cape, part duster, the sleeveless look minimized fabric bulk while maximizing movement with its wide cut. The best part about this transitional look? It has pockets.

Victoria paired her vest (a tricky garment she's designed before) with wide-leg pants and chunky wedges for a breezy, '70s-inspired look.

Do you like Victoria's transitional outerwear? Take a look below!

BEIJING — Quentin Tarantino's violent slave-revenge movie "Django Unchained" returned to Chinese theaters on Sunday, about a month after it was pulled on opening day for unspecified "technical reasons."

The rare suspension order on April 11 by the movie's importer, China Film Group Corp., led to speculation that the Hollywood film had run afoul of Chinese censors despite weeks of promotion.

"Django Unchained" reportedly already had some violent scenes cut and had been cleared by China's rigorous censors, who generally remove violence, sex and politically edgy content.

"The new version is one minute shorter than the previous one," said a manager at a UME Cineplex cinema in Beijing.

The manager, who gave only his surname, Wang, speculated that a nude scene might have been cut.

Calls to China's regulatory agency, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, were not answered.

"Django Unchained," which won two Oscars, stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a plantation owner and Jamie Foxx as a freed slave who trains to become a bounty hunter and demands his wife's freedom before the U.S. Civil War.

China has become the second-biggest movie market behind the U.S. with sales of $2.7 billion last year, according to the Motion Picture Association of America. While Hollywood is eager for a slice of this market, directors are having to accept the altering of their movies if they show China in a bad light, or to make them suitable for all ages in the absence of a classification system in China.

Earlier this year, some Chinese moviegoers were left confused because of awkward cuts to the James Bond feature "Skyfall" that included unflattering references to the sex trade in the Chinese territory of Macau. Then "Cloud Atlas" was shown in Chinese cinemas minus 38 minutes that included gay and straight love scenes.

China is even getting American studios to sanction alternative versions of films specially tailored for Chinese audiences, such as "Iron Man 3." The Chinese version features local heartthrob Fan Bingbing – absent from the version showing abroad – and lengthy clips of Chinese scenery.

By now, Britney Spears knows what suits her.The 32-year-old singer has been in the limelight since the tender age of 15, so we're sure she's downright comfortable with media attention.

And attention's what Britney got at the KIIS FM Wango Tango Festival on Saturday. The grown-up teenybopper made an appearance in a skin-tight little black dress with sheer detailing that fit her like a lovely body-conscious glove. A single sleeve -- a big trend this spring -- elevated the look from sexy to sophisticated, covering Britney up so that she showcased an appropriate amount of flesh for a public event.

Needless to say, we're big fans of Brit's Roberto Cavalli stunner. What do you think of the dress' intricate detail and sheer panels?

Unexpected 'Idol' Drama

$
0
0

LOS ANGELES -- The ratings are down. Randy Jackson is out. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are still at it.

All is not well on TV's once dominant "American Idol," despite a shake-up at the beginning of this season that was supposed to rejuvenate the aging Fox talent competition. Instead, the behind-the-scenes-and-sometimes-in-front-of-the-scenes drama continues to cast a shadow over the series, right up to Thursday's coronation of "Idol's" 12th season champion.

Jackson's declaration last week that he was departing the show means producers could plan a proper send-off for the lone remaining original judge this week, much the same way they did for Simon Cowell during the ninth season finale in 2010. However, `the fates of the other three judges remain uncertain amid reports they're out, too, and Fox and "Idol" producer FremantleMedia aren't commenting.

It's oh-so-familiar territory for the show, whose panel has revolved like an amusement park carousel since the addition of songwriter Kara DioGuardi at the beginning of the eighth season in 2009. The will-they-or-won't-they speculation sparked publicity for years, but many viewers – the ones who are left, anyway – have seemingly grown tired of the guessing games.

"It's a disservice to the talent on the show," said Lyndsey Parker, Yahoo's music editor who writes about "Idol" and other televised singing competitions on the "Reality Rocks" blog. "I'm quite fatigued by all the emphasis on the judges, especially when they step down or aren't asked back or whatever, and the speculation begins about all the potential replacements."

A trio of chart-topping new faces on this season's panel was supposed to breathe new life into "Idol." With reported paychecks of $18 million for Carey, $12 million for Minaj and $6 million for Keith Urban, there hasn't been a return on the investment. The ratings have never been lower for "Idol," which for nine seasons was the most-watched show on TV.

What went wrong? How did "Idol" lose its way? Was it merely a lackluster crop of contestants this season? Their song selections? Or have viewers simply grown weary of searching for yet another superstar since 2002? Maybe they were turned off by that ongoing feud between hip-hop diva Minaj and pop queen Carey, just as much as by some of the contestants?

"When you're on the stage, it does feel pretty awkward," acknowledged Candice Glover, the R&B vocalist who will face off against country singer Kree Harrison on Wednesday. "When it's happening to another contestant, I try not to watch. I don't think it overshadows the performance, but when you're up there, you have to wait for them to finish (the back-and-forth)."

The tone between the pair is far darker than the days when Cowell playfully teased Paula Abdul, and the vitriolic tweets and sensational asides between Minaj and Carey have stood in stark contrast to all the "girl power" up on stage. For the first time, five female singers ascended to the top of the pack, and a woman will win the show's grand prize for the first time since 2007.

It's likely no consolation that over on NBC's "The Voice," which has regularly toppled "Idol" in the ratings this year, drama-free celebrity panelists like Usher, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Shakira actually seem to all get along. Some of them even dueted together last week at a Los Angeles event. It's difficult to imagine Minaj ever laying down a rap alongside Carey.

"I don't think `Idol' is ever going to get back to its glory days," said Yahoo's Parker. "It's really difficult to retool any show that's been around for this long and make it the No. 1 on TV all over again. That said, I think it could rebound if they cast a diverse set of contestants and judges that have good chemistry. They don't necessarily have to be mega-stars."

The old "Star Search" show originally lasted for 12 years before it fizzled out (ironically, it was resurrected in 2003 after the success of "Idol"). It doesn't seem "Idol" has reached that point just yet. The show is still a huge moneymaker and draws millions of viewers. At its peak in 2003, the "Idol" finale attracted more than 38 million. Last season, more than 21 million watched the conclusion.

Perhaps even more will tune in to this week's finale to see this version of the "Idol" judging panel one last time.

"Saturday Night Live" opened its penultimate show of the season with a send-up of the Benghazi hearings, mocking Republican saber-rattling on the tragedy. But in "SNL's" version of the Senate inquiry, there was some unexpected star power in the form Jodi Arias. Sure, she may know nothing about Benghazi, but she'll definitely bump the ratings.

WATCH: You Won't Believe What Happened To Katharine Hepburn's Home

Today, we're saluting Katharine Hepburn on what would have been her 106th birthday by taking a peek inside her beloved home in the Fenwick section of Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

In "Me," her 1996 autobiography, Hepburn wrote: "Fenwick is and always has been my other paradise." She loved the property, which has been in her family since 1913. A hurricane in 1938 would completely destroy the original home -- after all, it is as close a home can be on the Long Island Sound without actually being in the water. In the aftermath, Hepburn and family bravely handled themselves as if it was a little party damage. They combed the shoreline for their silverware. Soon, they rebuilt.

Hepburn spent much of her free time at the estate, taking morning swims even when there was snow on the ground. Though the property was grand, the home's decor was on the more modest end of the spectrum -- for instance, her kitchen's key feature was a secondhand stove, which had belonged to her first husband, Ludlow Ogden Smith. Here are a few other views of Fenwick, as decorated by Hepburn.

When Hepburn's home went up for sale in 2011, we were a bit shocked to see how the interiors were renovated. Of course, we expected some modern updates (it might be a challenge to cook on a decades-old stove), we didn't expect to see...well, every trace of character removed completely.

Watch the video above and tell us: What did you think of the renovation?

Katharine Hepburn would've been 106 today -- and we don't doubt that the feistiest of the Old Hollywood-era stars would still be going strong. (And, you know, doing things like swimming in Connecticut during the dead of winter.) And to this author, this is a holiday. We have all the books one can possibly own about Hepburn, occasionally turning to her photos and quotes when we need guidance about anything from the most stylish way to wear pants to the secret to a loving relationship.

Yet, the real life lessons could be found in one of her many fabulous on-screen roles. Here they are:

Lesson #1: Always be honest about one's feelings, even if you're facing someone as handsome as Cary Grant. (Also: Add a statement collar for extra flair.)

Lesson #2: Revenge can be the small, subtle gesture delivered with a smile.

Lesson #3: Take advantage of every opportunity.

Lesson #4: Fit in exercise when you can.

Lesson #5: Dance like no one's watching, and knock over couches like no one cares.

Kristen Wiig's SNL Monologue Takes A Weird Turn

Kim Kardashian: Kanye And I Live 'Different Lives'

Kim Kardashian doesn't mind putting her life on display ... but her boyfriend does.

In a new interview with the U.K.'s Fabulous magazine, the reality star and mom-to-be, 32, admits that she and Kanye West, 35, deal with their personal lives much differently in the public eye.

"I'm definitely more of a recluse since I was pregnant. But I haven't necessarily decided to hold myself back, it's just preparing myself for respecting the privacy of my child and my boyfriend," Kardashian tells the magazine, adding of West, "We live different lives, but I love being open. That's who I've always been. That will never change because that is who I am."

Still, Kardashian admits she is concerned about raising her child in the spotlight.

"It does worry me when I think about it," she says, explaining that her younger sisters Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, give her a little inspiration.

"My little sisters have grown up so amazingly," Kardashian continues, "with really good heads on their shoulders."

As for West, we're not sure he's willing to air his life on camera just yet. The rapper, who has only appeared on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" a few times, wants to keep his world under wraps.

Mike Ryan: Kristen Wiig's Greatest Hits Disappointed

snl kristen wiig

Less than a year ago, Kristen Wiig was given an emotional and touching graduation-style sendoff from "SNL" that very few cast members ever received. So, that's why it was a little weird seeing her "back in school" so soon -- pulling the same old tricks.

Last year, we watched Wiig perform all of her best-known characters one last time. When I first heard that Wiig was coming back already to host, my hope was that she would have integrated herself into what this version of the cast has been doing. Basically: keep her old characters retired and show us some new things. Nope. Instead, we saw five of Wiig's recurring characters. Honestly, this is like grading a greatest hits album of a band whose deep cuts you prefer. (I don't really blame Wiig for this. I can see the writers having "How do I get my stuff on the air?" flashbacks from last season, resulting in the words "Target Lady" being yelled at the pitch meeting.) Well, whatever. Onward to a very recurring and uninspired Scorecard ...

Sketch of the Night

"Weekend Update" (Seth Meyers, Bobby Moynihan, Kristen Wiig, Seth Armisen) Did Seth Meyers have a cold? I ask this because his voice seemed off. If so, here's what I've decided: I like Seth Meyers with a cold. His delivery was just slightly slower, which made it at least feel like he wasn't rushing through any of the punchlines.

I do enjoy Anthony Crispino, though this may have been one of Crispino's weaker efforts, no matter how high his voice gets.

Now, one recurring character I didn't mind seeing was the return of Garth and Kat. If for no other reason than it's one of the rare opportunities that we get to see true improv on "SNL." In a perfect world, Wiig would have had all new material tonight -- which we know she's capable of -- and this would have been her one tip of the cap to her old characters. Again, whatever.

Score: 8.0

The Good

"Kristen Wiig Monologue" (Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Maya Rudolph, Lorne Michaels, Ensemble) I guess Jonah Hill is in town? Regardless, I'm a sucker for the high-energy monologues with the entire cast involved (and the backstage llama). Though, "SNL" has a tendency to overuse the "I don't remember your name" joke for whatever reason. And even while pregnant, Maya Rudolph brought her A-game.

Score: 7.5

"Mother's Day" (Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Tim Robinson, Bill Hader) Kate McKinnon makes a good mom. Look, there's not a lot here other than "moms will be moms," but there's nothing wrong with that. And if nothing else, Wiig and McKinnon have a nice chemistry together.

Score: 7.0

"Acupuncture" (Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Fred Armisen) So, this happened. I have no idea if I should award this Sketch of the Night or put it in The Ugly slot. Good God, this was ... something. But at least it was "something" everyone seemed to commit to 100 percent. How about this? How about we give it "6" and move on with our lives and never speak of this again? (Especially that giant exploding cyst.) Can we all agree on this? Please?

Score: 6.0

The Bad

"New Disney Show" (Cecily Strong, Bobby Moynihan, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Tim Robinson) A few weeks ago, a terrible movie called "Scary Movie 5" was released at theaters. A lot of the jokes "Scary Movie 5" used about horror movies were also used in this sketch. I do appreciate the fact that something at least halfway original was attempted, but there really wasn't any new ground covered here.

Score: 5.7

"Lawrence Welk" (Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Vanessa Bayer, Nasim Pedrad, Jason Sudeikis, Cecily Strong) I was tempted to find whatever I wrote about the last time this sketch aired a year ago and just copy and paste that here and see if anyone noticed. But then I remembered that at least last year's version had an appearance from Jon Hamm. Anyway, the greatest hits keep on coming.

Score: 5.5

"Double Date" (Tim Robinson, Bobby Moynihan, Kristen Wiig, Cecily Strong, Taran Killam) This is a classic case of something sounding really funny at a pitch meeting, but not working on the air. I can actually imagine Tim Robinson explaining this. My imaginary thoughts of Tim Robinson explaining a sketch about 6th graders going on a date with two adult women makes me laugh much harder than the final product did, unfortunately. A final product that just went nowhere. (Though, I'd still rather see a Tim Robinson misfire than the same old tired sketches that were being force-fed to us the entire show.)

Score: 5.5

"Cold Open: Benghazi" (Bill Hader, Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, Nasim Pedrad, Tim Robinson, Bobby Moynihan) This felt too tame, really, which has kind of been problem with the political satire all season. The main point was kind of hit: the endless amount of hearings for an attack in which we know the culprit. But this was sloppy (with its message and even its props) and would have needed to be drastically tightened up to get its point across. Sometimes a writer just needs to be asked, "What are you trying to say?" After he or she comes up with that answer, then just say it instead of dancing around the issue.

Score: 4.2

The Californians (Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Vanessa Bayer, Taran Killam, Maya Rudolph, Kenan Thompson) I have nothing more to say about this sketch. Ever.

Score: 4.0

"Socialite CD" (Kristen Wiig, Nasim Pedrad, Kenan Thompson, Cecily Strong, Jay Pharoah, Aidy Bryant) I've never understood parodies of reality stars because the people being parodied are already such caricatures of themselves, so what's the point? This sketch was no different. And this went on and on and on. Though, at least it had a "Coach" reference.

Score: 3.5

The Ugly

"Target Lady" (Kristen Wiig, Bobby Moynihan, Aidy Bryant, Jay Pharoah, Vanessa Bayer) It's the Target Lady, same as it's always been the Target Lady. This particular Target Lady sketch was better than some of the others that had come before, but not as good as some installments. (If you're wondering what's the point of the last sentence that I just wrote, I'm wondering the same thing.) Again, nothing new here and that's what's so bad about it. If we're going to see a now eight-year-old sketch idea (Target Lady first premiered n 2005), at least do something new. And if we had to have recurring sketches, would it have been terrible to use "The Two A-Holes"? Especially considering that next week might be Jason Sudeikis' last show?

Score: 3.0

Kristen Wiig returning to host "SNL" offered plenty of opportunities to reprise her most popular roles, but the one it seemed everyone was really hoping for was Kat, of Garth and Kat. Fortunately, they were not disappointed.

Robin Roberts sent a Mother's Day message on Sunday to her mom that she lost about nine months ago.

Last year, Roberts' was diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood and bone marrow disorder. She announced that she would take medical leave and undergo treatment for MDS, which included receiving a bone marrow transplant from her sister, Sally Ann. Days before the transplant, Roberts' mother, Lucimarian Roberts died at the age of 88.

Roberts posted a message to her mom on her Facebook wall. Roberts and her mother wrote a book together, which came out about one year ago. The "Good Morning America" host posted a photograph of her and her mother at their book party.

Dear Mom,

I miss you every day. Especially today as we celebrate our moms, and mother figures in our lives.

This is my first Mother's Day without you. It hurts so much. But I remember something you said after daddy died: "You have a choice. You can have sad sorrow or happy sorrow". I'm going to follow your advice and choose the latter.

I'm not sure if you ever saw this picture. It was taken last Spring before your book party that the wonderful people at Upper Room hosted. Family and friends traveled near and far to honor you. I vividly recall you beaming as your daughter, Dorothy, beautifully sang the title of your book. This is MY STORY, this is MY SONG. Cousin Steven flawlessly accompanied Dorothy on the piano. Happy sorrow.

Momma, Happy Mother's Day to you and all the moms in heaven, as you smile down on your children today and every day.

Forever your baby girl,

Robin

Roberts returned to "Good Morning America" earlier this year and resumed her role as co-host alongside George Stephanopoulos.

Reese Witherspoon Rocks White Short Shorts

Reese Witherspoon is back to her blonde roots.

The actress who recently went brunette for her role in "The Good Lie," showed off her newly-dyed blond hair at her son Deacon's football game in Brentwood yesterday (May 11).

Witherspoon -- looking happier than ever -- rocked a pair of white short shorts as she cheered on Deacon from the sidelines with her husband, Jim Toth.

The 37-year-old and Toth made headlines last month after being jailed following a DUI-related incident in Atlanta. Witherspoon, who has always been portrayed as America's Sweetheart, apologized following her arrest, saying, "I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. The words I used that night definitely do not reflect who I am. I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior."

In a video from the arrest, Witherspoon can be heard asking a cop, "Do you know my name?" before telling him, "You're about to find out who I am" and "You're about to be on national news."

We're happy she's a blonde again ... her brown-haired alter ego needed to go.

'Revenge' Finale: Death And A Shocking Reveal

$

While you might think the death of a principal character in a season finale would be the big game changer, it was a confession on "Revenge" that will turn a big part of the show on its head next season. The two-hour finale spent much of its focus on Conrad's election win.

It was a win somewhat tainted by the fact that he blew up his own campaign headquarters, in an attempt to kill Jack Porter. Unfortunately, though he probably doesn't care much about collateral damage, it was Declan who was there. He was looking for Charlotte, having recently learned that she was pregnant. Declan was seriously injured in the explosion, and died later at the hospital. What is with this show killing off one parent of every new baby?

Conrad also revealed to Victoria that there is no Initiative, at least not in the sense she thinks. The Graysons aren't victim to the machinations of the Initiative. Conrad is an active member and participant in all of the scheming.

The big reveal, though, came at the end. Distraught over the death of his brother, Jack was ready to assassinate Conrad at his acceptance rally. Emily stopped him and then dropped a bombshell he was in no way emotionally prepared to handle. "Deep down inside, you’ve always known the truth," she said. "I’m Amanda Clarke."

Calling it "the finale's best shocker," E! Online reacted to the reveal with one word: "Gah!" HitFix speculated about how this might affect the show, doubting that Emily would bring Jack in on her revenge plot. "Jack may be just as fired up with rage toward the Graysons as she is, but his lack of experience and his hotheaded behavior would seem to make him more of a liability than a help in Emily's master plan," they wrote.

James Spader returns to NBC with "The Blacklist" on this fall.

The "Office" alum and longtime "Boston Legal" star returns to the spotlight on the Peacock network and this time, instead of upholding the law (albeit via blackmail, bribery and the like), he's breaking it. In NBC's upcoming series "The Blacklist," Spader stars as Raymond “Red” Reddington, the most wanted man in the world.

Check out Spader and his devilish ways below in NBC's new four-minute trailer for "The Blacklist", as well as two new preview clips, and scroll down for more previews and official descriptions of the new series on NBC's 2013-2014 schedule: the “Ironside" remake starring Blair Underwood, the new Mike O'Malley comedy "Welcome To The Family," Sean Hayes' return to sitcoms with "Sean Saves The World," and, of course, the highly-anticipated "Michael J. Fox Show."

"The Blacklist," Mondays at 10 p.m. ET

For decades, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader, “The Office,” “Boston Legal”) has been one of the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as “The Concierge of Crime.” Now, he’s mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone, “Law & Order: Los Angeles”), an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it’s going to be one hell of a first day on the job. What follows is a twisting series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins. What are Red’s true intentions? Why has he chosen Liz, a woman with whom he seemingly has no connection? Does Liz have secrets of her own? Zamani is only the first of many on a list that Red has compiled over the years: a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. He will help catch them all ... with the caveat that Liz continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz to think like a criminal and “see the bigger picture” ... whether she wants to or not. Also starring are Diego Klattenhoff (“Homeland”), Harry Lennix (“Man of Steel”), Ryan Eggold (“90210”) and Ilfenesh Hadera (“Da Brick”). Jon Bokenkamp (“The Call,” “Taking Lives”), John Eisendrath (“Alias”), John Davis (“Gulliver’s Travels,” “Predator”) and John Fox serve as executive producers. The pilot was directed by Joe Carnahan (“The A-Team,” “The Grey”).

“Ironside,” Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET

In the gritty world of the NYPD, no one’s tougher than Det. Robert Ironside (Blair Underwood, “The Event,” “In Treatment”). He’s a fearless cop who won’t stop until the guilty are brought to justice. He and his trusted, handpicked team of specialists -- Virgil (Pablo Schreiber, “The Wire” “Lights Out”), Holly (Spencer Grammer, “Greek,” “As the World Turns”) and Teddy (Neal Bledsoe, “Smash,” “Ugly Betty”), as well as his former partner Gary (Brent Sexton, “The Killing”) and boss Det. Ed Rollins (Kenneth Choi, “Sons of Anarchy”) -- will do whatever it takes to solve New York’s most difficult and notorious crimes. As a detective, Ironside’s instincts are second to none, and those around him have to stay on their toes if they want to keep up ... because when his spine was shattered by a bullet two years ago, Ironside swore he’d never let a wheelchair slow him down. Nothing gets in his way. Michael Caleo (“Rescue Me,” “The Sopranos”) serves as executive producer-writer and Teri Weinberg (“Ugly Betty”), John Davis, John Fox, Ron West and David Semel (“Heroes”) are also executive producers.

“Welcome To The Family,” Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET

Parents Dan Yoder (Mike O’Malley, “Glee,” “My Name Is Earl”) and wife Karina (Mary McCormack, “In Plain Sight,” “The West Wing”) find out on the day their daughter Molly (Ella Rae Peck, “Deception,” “Gossip Girl”) is graduating from high school with an acceptance to college, she announces she pregnant. Across town in East L.A., Junior Hernandez (Joseph Haro, “Glee,” “Awkward”), in the middle of his high school valedictorian speech, gets a text from girlfriend Molly that he’s going to be a daddy. Expectedly, Junior’s parents Miguel (Ricardo Chavira, “Desperate Housewives”) and Lisette (Justina Machado, “Six Feet Under,” “ER”) are also upset, as they now have Caucasians in the family. What follows is a crash course in culture blending as Molly and Junior decide they want to get married and, in doing so, bring together two very different families. The dads have the most difficult time reconciling while the moms take a softer approach to get to know one another. When the parents fully realize that their kids are serious about making a life together, the adults exhale and begin to come to terms with this new blended family and start to understand it will take, humor, love and tolerance to make it all work. Mike Sikowitz (“Rules of Engagement,” “Friends”) and Jamie Tarses (“Happy Endings, “Franklin & Bash”) serve as executive producers.

"Sean Saves The World," Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET

Sean (Sean P. Hayes, “Will & Grace”) is a divorced gay dad who juggles a lot -- his successful but demanding career, offbeat employees, pushy mom Lorna (Linda Lavin, “Alice”), and weekends with his teenage daughter, Ellie (Sami Isler). So when his 14-year-old bundle of joy moves in full-time, it’s a whole new world. Never one to do anything halfway, Sean’s intent on being the best dad ever, so he loads up on parenting how-to books and plans Pinterest-worthy family dinners. But it seems his company’s new owner has decided Sean and his team should work longer hours, putting a damper on his homemaking plans and throwing a kink in Sean’s perfectly constructed work/life balance. Ellie, a normal girl who wants to hang with her friends and eat on the run, sees this development as a plus. She loves her dad, but he’s clearly going overboard. From keeping his boss happy, his employees motivated and enduring his mother’s tactless “advice” to raising a smart, grounded and healthy kid, it’s going to be a growing experience, to say the least. But if anyone can handle it all, it’s Sean. Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911”) and Echo Kellum (“Ben and Kate”) also star. “Sean Saves the World” is executive produced by Hayes and Todd Milliner (“Hot in Cleveland,” “Grimm”), executive produced/directed by James Burrows (“Friends,” “The Big Bang Theory”) and written/produced by Victor Fresco (“Go On,” “Mad About You”).

“The Michael J. Fox Show,” Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET

Look who’s making the news again! One of NY’s most beloved news anchors, Mike Henry (Michael J. Fox, “Spin City," “Family Ties”), put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. But now five years later, with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless, it just might be time for him to get back to work. Having never wanted Mike to leave in the first place, his old boss Harris Green (Wendell Pierce, “Treme," "The Wire”) jumped at the chance to get him back on TV. The trick, as it’s always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. After several -- OK, many -- failed attempts, Mike’s family, anxious to see him out of the house, finally succeeded in getting him to “run into” Green. Now their plan is in motion. He’ll be back to juggling home, family, and career, just like the old days -- only better. Also starring are Betsy Brandt (“Breaking Bad”), Conor Romero (“American Gangster”), Juliette Goglia (“Easy A”), Jack Gore and Katie Finneran (“I Hate My Teenage Daughter”). Fox also serves as executive producer on the new comedy from executive producer/writer Sam Laybourne (“Cougar Town”) and executive producer/director Will Gluck (“Easy A”, “Friends with Benefits”).

Check back for previews of "Dracula," starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and midseason shows "About A Boy," "The Family Guide," "Crossbones," “Believe" and "Crisis."

'Survivor: Caramoan' Finale: Who Won The Unanimous Vote?

"Survivor: Caramoan" has crowned its 26th winner in its usual two-hour finale extravaganza. But there was one more medical evacuation to get out of the way, opening the door for an unexpected reward challenge for the final four. The reward this time, though, was an advantage in the final challenge. An advantage that ultimately didn't really pay off, but it all worked out anyway.

All that whining Erik did in Wednesday's show about starving turned out to be exactly what was happening. Collapsing immediately after Tribal Council, Erik was forced out of the game, leaving a stunned final four. Eddie was hoping this was the opening he needed to make it into the final Tribal Council, but it wasn't.

Cochran took the reward challenge that saw them building houses of cards on a platform they were balancing with one arm. A brutal challenge that could have gone to anyone. The irony was that the advantage he got didn't seem to help much. The final challenge had them gathering bags -- Cochran's weren't tied to the structure -- and then assembling a puzzle. Cochran's advantage had him working on the puzzle well before the others, but he was nowhere when the rest started putting theirs together. Once he started to figure it out, though, he pulled ahead and won.

The final tribal saw Dawn and Sherri face off against Cochran, and it seemed pretty obvious how things were going to play out. Cochran was very open about how he'd played the game, and didn't get nearly the heat that Dawn did -- despite playing a similar game. Sherri thought she had this, but was mostly ignored. She didn't plead her case well, and was downright hostile at one point, which didn't win her any favor, either.

In the end, it was only the third unanimous vote in those 26 seasons as Cochran took home the $1 million prize. Entertainment Weely felt he more than proved himself, writing, "Cochran went the entire season without having a single vote cast against him. Until the final Tribal Council, that is, when he got all the votes he needed and was named the winner ... It was a remarkable turnaround for a guy who was berated for being disloyal and mocked for his inability in challenges the last time he played in 'Survivor: South Pacific.'"

'Breaking Amish: Brave New World' Premiere: Original Cast Reunintes

After the runaway success of "Breaking Amish," the original cast reunited for the premiere of "Breaking Amish: Brave New World." The five young people who'd chosen to leave their restrictive religious homes continued to explore their new lives in the larger world, which proved awkward inspirational for Abe's sister.

The series began with Abe and Rebecca planning to take a road trip down to Florida to meet with the rest of the cast. When Abe's sister, 18-year-old Katie Ann, wanted to join them on this new adventure, Rebecca wasn't supportive of it at all.

“Leaving the Amish is not simple. If you want to leave it’s not like, 'Okay, let’s go, and I can do anything I want,'" she told Katie Ann. "I don’t think it’s going to work. You’re young. You’re way too young. I just don’t think you’re ready for it.”

It was certainly an interesting reaction, considering Rebecca had already left. Maybe she knew the struggles she'd gone through when she left. Regardless, the whole tone of the episode was rather morose, leaving The Hollywood Reporter to say that it seemed perhaps too dark. "The show's sadness may or may not lift once the group reunites and heads south, but so far it's simply depressing," they wrote.

The Examiner felt that it felt like things might become familiar to "Breaking Amish" fans, saying, "If the premiere episode is any indication, fans can look forward to yet another season of drama revolving around sexual tension, drinking and lies.”

To find out the tone of the new season, check out "Breaking Amish: Brave New World" every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

Sheree Whitfield Responds To NeNe Leakes' Rant Against Her

Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Sheree Whitfield dropped by "Watch What Happens: Live," where she got a chance to respond to comments made about her on the same show by her former co-star, NeNe Leakes. And, to make it an even more surreal experience for viewers, "Glee" star Matthew Morrison sat in as Leakes, holding a mask of her over his face.

Leakes had said to Andy Cohen that Whitfield was the one castmember she would never have anything to do with again, calling her evil, mean and entitled for starters. Leakes had plenty more to say, but Whitfield didn't take the same route in her response.

"I’m really flattered that the ‘rich and famous’ -- the newly‘rich and famous’ -- still have time to talk about me all day," she said. "I don’t know, um, maybe get a life?"

Whitfield thought it was weird that Leakes had all this time to think about her when she wasn't really thinking about Leakes at all. She expanded on her thoughts a little with TooFab -- where she didn't have the 30-second limit Cohen gave her. "We have a lot of history," she said. "I can say, when someone knows your baggage and someone knows all your dirt ... I’m not afraid of her. But I wish her the best. I wish her the best.”

Tune in to "Watch What Happens: Live" every Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo.

'The Client List': Riley's Work Comes Home In A Devastating Way

The fallout from Riley's illegal activities over at The Rub hit home in a real way, and in perhaps the most devastating way possible, on "The Client List." Lacey was attacked by a man who broke into Riley's house searching for that elusive client list. The attack was so violent that she was quickly rushed to the hospital.

It was the worst possible news. Lacey had only recently found out she was pregnant. After the home invasion attack, she wasn't anymore.

"Look, we tried real hard," Dale told her. "And when we’re ready we’re gonna try again."

Style Bistro thought the episode was an emotional roller coaster, as we'd only found out she was pregnant moments before she lost the baby. TV Fanatic thinks the fallout from this incident may see Lacey lose more than her baby, too. "If Lacey has time to process that it was Riley's fault that she lost the baby, she might not be in the best frame of mind to have her friend's back while she engages in criminal activity anymore," they said. "At what point do you stop enabling your friend when everyone around them is getting hurt because of what they are doing?"

The drama continues on "The Client List," Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
