LeAnn Rimes' Legs Go For A Walk

Who wears short shorts? LeAnn Rimes does.

The country star, 30, looked hot in a pair of cut-off denim hot pants as she did some shopping in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 3. Rimes was all smiles, flaunting her fit frame and toned legs in a tie-dyed pink shirt and beige wedges.

And those good looks could come in handy, considering the "Blue" singer has been hinting that she's ready to start a family with her hubby Eddie Cibrian. As a matter of fact, Rimes tweeted a photo of her and a friend's baby yesterday, writing:

Rimes, who is stepmom to Cibrian's two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville -- Mason, almost 10, and Jake, 6 -- has said that she can't wait to welcome kids of her own.

"Eddie and I talk about having kids and I would love to be a mom," she told E! News in a special last year. "I didn't ever want to bring a child into the world without taking care of myself. And that was another reason I decided to go [into treatment]."

Well, we have to admit -- LeAnn is looking better than ever.

Paris Hilton is ready to settle down.

The 32-year-old hotel heiress said that she "definitely" wants to marry her much-younger boyfriend River Viiperi, 21, during an appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show" May 2. Hilton confessed that she has "grown up" and is "staying out of trouble" after making headlines for her infamous party girl behavior. And she admitted that starting a family is at the top of her list.

"I think that's every woman's dream. I think that's the meaning of life to have children and have a family one day," Hilton told Williams, adding, "I am so in love. I feel so lucky to have met him. He's one of the kindest, most loyal men I've ever met in my entire life, and he treats me like a princess."

Not to mention Viiperi is easy on the eyes.

"He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life," Hilton gushed, explaining that he may be younger than her, but she's "21 forever."

And although Hilton has recently caught up with some of her former pals, including Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian, the socialite admitted that she's much more focused on her career these days.

"I just opened my 44th store in Colombia last week and we're expanding all around the world," Hilton, who is also working on her 16th fragrance, said. "I'm getting into the hotel business and following in my family's footsteps. I love it."

Fleetwood Mac Hits New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — Little Big Town says that some networking they did is paying off with a chance to cross a couple of items off their "bucket list."

After playing Bayou Country SuperFest in Baton Rouge last year, group member Karen Fairchild said they talked to festival producer Quint Davis about other things they hoped to accomplish. They mentioned that they'd one day like to perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Davis was in a position to help since he also produces Jazz Fest.

Known for its trademark four-part harmonies, Little Big Town performed in New Orleans on Saturday.

"Can you believe we're opening for Fleetwood Mac?" said Kimberly Schlapman, another group member. "We've been wanting to play Jazz Fest forever and now we're opening for Fleetwood Mac and can mark off two big things from our list."

Schlapman said early in their career they had the chance to meet Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, which she described as an "amazing harmony band."

"Being able to share a stage with them is one of our greatest wishes," she said.

Fairchild said they've watched Jazz Fest from afar for years. "The who's who of music shows up year after year at the festival. Who wouldn't want to play there?"

Flags flying amid a cool breeze, music fans packed the festival grounds by the stage where Little Big Town and Fleetwood Mac performed. Some put down tarps over the muddy infield. Others sat in chairs, wore rubber boots or stood barefoot to hear the bands.

"Once you're in it, it kind of feels good," said Mary Kathryn Gatlin, of Greenville, S.C., who danced shoeless in the mud, the muck covering her feet past the ankles. Gatlin was taking in her first Jazz Fest with her sister, Frances Gatlin.

The pair had been at the stage since noon, about an hour after the gates opened.

"We love country, bluegrass, just easy-listening music that's fun to dance to," Gatlin said.

Many danced as Fleetwood Mac performed such hits as "Dreams," "Rhiannon," "Gypsy," "Tusk" and "Landslide," which drew huge roars from the crowd when Stevie Nicks introduced it.

Nicks also delivered her tribute to the host city, singing a portion of her song, "New Orleans," which she said she wrote after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. "I wanna get a room in New Orleans, I wanna sing in the streets of the French Quarter," she sang.

The band also performed a new song, "Sad Angel," testing it out with the crowd. Toward the end of their set, they played an old favorite, "Go Your Own Way" at the end of which Buckingham shouted to the crowd, "New Orleans, we love you!"

They left the stage briefly before returning for an encore performance of "The World Keep On Turning," a song from their self-titled first album released in 1968 and "Don't Stop."

Other Saturday headliners included Phoenix, Frank Ocean, Los Lobos, Terence Blanchard, Davell Crawford and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Sunshine and blue skies were welcomed by fans of the outdoor festival, which had been drenched by rain in previous days. Despite the mud, the field in front of the festival's largest stage was packed hours before Fleetwood Mac's performance.

Little Big Town's Fairchild said she hoped their festival appearance would help boost their fan base.

"This is a great chance for longtime fans to come out and see our set and a chance for us to discover and be introduced to new fans," she said.

Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook make up the rest of Little Big Town, which recently won two Academy of Country Music awards for their latest album "Tornado." They go on tour with Keith Urban in July.

"I like them," said Monique Powell, of Lafayette. "They've got three big hits out right now, `Tornado,' `Pontoon,' and `Little White Church.' We came in to hear Maroon 5 yesterday. This is just a bonus."

Powell and her friend, Matt Chaisson, also of Lafayette, said Saturday's sunny weather made the trip worthwhile.

"Even though it's nasty out here with all the mud, we're making the best of it," she said, adding that she should have packed her rain boots.

"I should know better," she said, laughing. "I'm from here!"

The festival ends Sunday, with closing performances by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Aaron Neville, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra with special guest Dee Dee Bridgewater.

The 139th running of the Kentucky Derby won't last much longer than two minutes, but the party at Churchill Downs is an all-day affair.

Fans lined up early on Saturday morning outside the famed track in Louisville, braving the rain and enduring the security lines. Whether heading to Millionaires Row or to the raucous party in the infield, the scene at the Kentucky Derby has something for everyone, provided you like mint juleps.

As usual, the Kentucky Derby has brought out big names and even bigger hats. Aside from Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino, who is a partial owner of one of the horses in the field, the world of sports was well represented. Julius Erving, Ken Griffey Jr. and Warren Moon were among some of the high-profile athletes photographed arriving. They were joined by Hollywood celebs, musicians, models and Miss American 2013 Mallory Hagan.

The reaction to the rain among the patrons seemed decidedly mixed as the undercard races went on ahead of the main event. While some were forced to cover their festive gear with ponchos, fans in the infield set up improvised slip-and-slide activities.

Here is a selection of images from the Kentucky Derby as well as the Kentucky Oaks:

Is Metallica Getting Into The Sports Game?

$

SAN FRANCISCO -- Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo sure could get used to this: a tour of sorts, with stops at the Bay Area's professional and college sporting venues. Or even some travel to ballparks and arenas beyond Northern California.

AT&T Park was a nice start Friday night as the reigning World Series champion Giants hosted the rival Los Angeles Dodgers for the first time this year.

"What's special about this is you can actually merge the two worlds together," Trujillo said. "I feel that music is such an inspirational form of energy, as baseball is. And especially with Metallica, believe it or not, our shows are very physical. Sports is a very physical thing, too."

Whether Trujillo's idea really takes off, time will tell – though he is already hoping for an Oakland Raiders game across the bay down the road.

"We'll see, maybe the Raiders are around the corner, you never know," Trujillo said. "I think we could be starting something here. Maybe this transitions into other bands uniting with their local team and representing and bringing that kind of excitement into the sport."

After playing the national anthem with Kirk Hammett to roaring cheers from the crowd, lead singer and guitarist James Hetfield led cheers of "Let's go Giants!" before first pitch. The band members reside in Marin County.

The band would love to make this an annual thing, and appreciated the Giants' invite.

"Extremely grateful. I think the Grateful Dead have their day," Hetfield said. "And we have a pretty loyal following ourselves. So I think we might be in the territory of the Dead as well. We're very grateful to be a part of this. Hopefully it can continue and we'll do it as long as we can."

Drummer Lars Ulrich threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Giants closer Sergio Romo. On the main scoreboard in center field, Giants players' photos were shown with Metallica-like hairdos when they batted.

With the Giants still early in their season, Hetfield is cheering for the San Jose Sharks in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

"Any sports team is a little tough for me to follow all the time," he said. "We're pretty busy ourselves. But I love it, especially when Bay Area teams are doing well. I just love what it does to people."

Trujillo insists he is the band member with the most baseball experience having played three years in his youth mostly at second base and in center field – and, at 48, "I'm actually the baby of the band, scary, huh?"

"I've been a baseball fan in the early part of my life, so through the 70s and the 80s I was a huge fan," he said. "I actually followed the Dodgers back then, back in the Kirk Gibson years, Steve Garvey. ... It means a lot to me. It's an honor to be here at this park, it's one of the most beautiful ballparks in the U.S. and probably in the world even. It's incredible. I don't think any seat's a bad seat here."

Trujillo is thrilled that Yankees closer Mariano Rivera makes his way to the mound to the Metallica hit "Enter Sandman."

"To have a song that's so relevant to kind of getting the energy going and people fired up, that's really special," Trujillo said. "That doesn't happen. It's really a rush and a thrill to feel you've been part of a body of music that's inspiring."

And this heavy metal band hopes to keep fans head banging for years to come. They're still having a blast coming up with new tunes even decades later as their lives have changed with spouses and children.

"We're still in there, and I hope we're still relevant," Trujillo said. "At a certain point, you go through the phase in your early years where you're drinking a lot of beer and whiskey and doing all of the wild stuff and then there's a certain point in your life, and it usually comes with family, marriage and your responsibilities to that, and then all of a sudden that transitions into `You need to be responsible for your art' and how you're going to perform and how you treat your body.

"If you choose to take care of yourself, you're going to get more mileage for your career. I think the biggest reason for Metallica is we're very inspired. Usually you get 30 years into your career and songwriting doesn't become a priority anymore and you're just kind of banking on the hits. Basically when we put on our instruments we're like teenagers again."

Amanda Bynes is coming clean -- but not about her behavior.

The 27-year-old has taken to Twitter to reveal that she did, in fact, have a nose job several years ago. Bynes says that she hates when media outlets use old photos of her, gushing, "I look so much prettier in my new photos."

"Intouch used a photo from years ago on their cover and I hate it! The reason I've asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don't look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don't want old photos used anymore!" she tweeted May 5.

"I'm so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop?" Bynes continued. "I will never look like that again! Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!"

The troubled star has been open about her new appearance, tweeting about her haircut, weight loss and style over the past few months.

Mike Ryan: Zach Galifianakis Saves The Best For Last

snl zach galifianakis

The past hallmarks of a Zach Galifianakis-hosted "SNL" have been (A) absurdest humor and (B) Galifianakis ending the show with less hair than when he started. Last night, Galifianakis' hair remained intact in what was an ... OK enough show. But, really, it felt at times that the cast was just sitting around waiting for the reaction to final sketch of the night -- which turned out to be one of the most ambitious sketches in recent memory. Off we go to a slightly repetitive, but still pleasant enough Scorecard ...

Sketch of the Night

"Darrell's House Parts 1 and 2" (Zach Galifianakis, Vanessa Bayer, Kenan Thompson, Jon Hamm) I can honestly say that I've never seen anything quite like this attempted on "SNL" before. Sure, there are plenty of sketches that have had reprises throughout the show, but never anything quite like this -- "Z-Shirt" came close, but the first sketch really was independent of the funeral, payoff sketch -- never anything that the entire payoff of the sketch is dependent on watching the second part. I mean, the first part is close to unwatchable, but the second part payoff makes the whole thing brilliant.

Score: 9.5

The Good

"New Balance" (Zach Galifianakis, Taran Killam, Bobby Moynihan, Tim Robinson) It's funny because it's true. (But, c'mon, New Balance has some pretty decent looking shoes.) Also, this feels like it has Tim Robinson's fingerprints all over it. And, if that's the case, I'm really enjoying his late season surge.

Score: 7.5

"Zach Galifianakis Monologue" (Zach Galifianakis) Yes, Galifianakis' opening line, "I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving," made me laugh. Though, there wasn't much new to see here -- this was basically a continuation of Galifianakis' heralded monologue from the first time that he hosted in 2010. Though, for whatever reason, this time around, the piano-accompanied non-sequiturs didn't really land with the same odd punch that they had the first time. Regardless, it's still better than most monologue efforts.

Score: 6.8

"Weekend Update" (Seth Meyers, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen, Cecily Strong) Another three segment "Update," which we seem to be seeing more and more of as of late. Hader as James Carville and Strong as "Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started A Conversation With at a Party" were both fine, but (again, a recurring theme tonight), more of the same. The standout here was Fred Armisen as a tech blogger named Randall Meeks who has the new Google Glass. And, yes, this is what people will look like who use Google Glass. This will be our future.

Score: 6.2

"Cold Open: Fox and Friends" (Taran Killam, Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, Fred Armisen) It really seems like the mantra of this "SNL" season is, "When in doubt, write a 'Fox & Friends.'" And, look, for the most part, these always wind of being pretty good. And, yes, the "corrections" are always a highlight. With only two shows remaining, we probably won't be seeing "Fox and Friends" again until this fall anyway, but, boy, it would be nice to see "SNL" come up with something new instead of wearing this one out -- which is dangerously close to happening.

Score: 6.0

The Bad

"Game of Game of Thrones" (Bill Hader, Zach Galifianakis, Taran Killam, Aidy Bryant, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) I thought this would be better. Seeing the setup as the sketch started, I just really thought that this would be better because there's just so much to work with (including a walk-on by "Game of Thrones" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Instead, they went with the tried and true: Fans of a certain genre don't know anything except about that genre. I mean, it's comedy, who cares? It's just that there's absolutely nothing new to see here. (I feel "SNL" has been chasing the ghost of Shatner's "get a life" sketch for 26 years and can't quite recreate it.)

Score: 5.8

"M&M Store" (Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudeikis, Nasim Pedrad, Fred Armisen, Tim Robinson, Bobby Moynihan, Kennan Thompson, Vanessa Bayer) I've watched this sketch three times now and I really am having a hard time with it. I think there are some interesting ideas in here -- and even flirts with edginess -- but it still feels like a misfire. A smart misfire, for sure, but there's something missing here that could have really made this one jump.

Score: 5.5

"Match.com" (Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Nasim Pedrad, Cecily Strong, Taran Killam) Martha Stewart wants to meet a man -- that's pretty much the gist. Though Kate McKinnon does a fairly good Stewart impression, I pretty much forgot this sketch existed the second it ended. A sketch involving either Martha Stewart or Match.com seems like it belongs on something that aired 10 years ago.

Score: 5.0

"Jennifer Aniston Lookalike Pageant" (Jason Sudeikis, Zach Galifianakis, Cecily Strong, Bobby Moynihan, Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, Nasim Pedrad, Vanessa Bayer, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms) I have two takeaways from this sketch: Vanessa Bayer does a really great Jennifer Aniston impression and that someone really wants me to see "The Hangover Part III."

(This sketch is not online because a Dione Warwick song was sung by the cast of "The Hangover Part III.")

Score: 3.5

The Ugly

"Michael Jordan Wedding" (Zach Galifianakis, Jason Sudeikis, Kenan Thompson, Fred Armisen, Aidy Bryant, Jay Pharoah) Boy, this went on for a long time. I mean, it's listed as an under five minute sketch, but I don't know how that could possibly be true. The only good thing I can say about this sketch is that it didn't turn into a commercial for "The Hangover Part III."

Score: 2.0

Singer-Songwriter's Surprise Pro-Gay Move At Christian College

Singer-songwriter Josh Ritter is making headlines after speaking out in defense of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community during a performance at a private Christian college which allegedly has an anti-gay policy in place for its student body.

After his performance at Pennsylvania's Messiah College, Ritter took to Facebook with the following message:

"Messiah College requires all students to sign a 'Community Covenant,' promising to, among other things, 'avoid such sinful practices as…homosexual behavior….'

This policy, which I see as exclusionary and bigoted, could not run more counter to my personal beliefs. If I had done my homework, and read about Messiah's policies ahead of time, I would never have agreed to play there."

When he took to the stage, Ritter says he "chose to use the opportunity to talk to the students -- to encourage them to seek openness and change," adding, "I spoke honestly about my personal views -- that we should all have the right to love -- and to marry freely, no matter what our sexual orientation. Everyone was respectful and kind, and it is my hope that they'll continue to demand a change to the Community Covenant."

Vowing never to perform at Messiah College again "until they welcome, in word and deed, all members of their faith regardless of sexuality," Ritter is donating his earnings from the performance to The Trevor Project, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth advocacy organization.

Click here to read Ritter's full Facebook post.

The Idaho-born Ritter is currently touring in support of his latest album, “The Beast in Its Tracks."

In 2011, Messiah College's "Community Covenant" made headlines when an openly gay student opted to transfer out of the school, saying he had been harassed by fellow students and even a professor because of his sexual orientation.

Meanwhile, College Provost Randy Bassinger defended the covenant to Penn Live at the time, calling it "quite clear on the behavioral expectations in a number of areas, one of them being homosexual behavior."

Bassinger added, "We’re very committed to that and very intentional on how we apply that — consistently, as with all our behavioral expectations.”

HUGE Opening For 'Iron Man 3'

For the "Iron Man" franchise, the third time was the charm. According to numbers released by Disney, the studio's "Iron Man 3" grossed $175.3 million during its opening weekend, the second biggest debut ever behind only last year's "Marvel's The Avengers," which was also released by Disney.

Coupled with an international gross over $504.8 million thus far, "Iron Man 3" has already earned $680.1 million around the globe. That gives the Shane Black film a bigger worldwide tally than the lifetime theatrical tallies of either "Iron Man" ($585 million) or "Iron Man 2" ($624 million). "Iron Man 3" also topped the global totals of "Thor," "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "The Incredible Hulk."

On the all-time list of domestic openings, "Iron Man 3" surpassed "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" ($169.1 million) to nab the runner-up position behind "Marvel's The Avengers" ($207.1 million). The two other films in the top five are "The Dark Knight Rises" ($160.8 million) and "The Dark Knight" ($158.4 million). (Unlike "Marvel's The Avengers," "Iron Man 3" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," neither Batman film was presented in 3D.) With its opening weekend, "Iron Man 3" bumped "The Hunger Games" ($152.5 million) from the top five.

The strong start for "Iron Man 3" gives Marvel Studios the top two spots on the all-time list. For star Robert Downey Jr., "Iron Man 3" represents his third $100 million debut since 2010 ("Iron Man 2" and "Marvel's The Avengers" being the others); he has starred in four of the top 25 biggest openings ever. More fun with Downey: This is his sixth film since 2008 to top $500 million around the globe (four Marvel films and the two Sherlock Holmes movies). If "Iron Man 3" crosses $1 billion, it will put Downey on the short list of lead actors with multiple films over that monetary threshold, alongside Christian Bale and Johnny Depp.

Elsewhere at the box office over the weekend, "Pain and Gain" finished in second place with just $7.6 million, "42" landed in third, and "Oblivion" and "The Croods" rounded out the top five.

They don't call the Met Gala the fashion Oscars for nothing. The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala honors high fashion and the icons who wear it, so it's only natural that the dresses attendees don are the biggest spectacle of the night. Now, this is no Nerd Ball. Risk is the name of the game, and with high-concept themes like punk rock and Beyoncé as a co-chair, we're more excited than ever for tomorrow's festivites.

As we prep for the 2013 red carpet -- likely to be the Met's most rebellious one yet -- we're taking a look back at the gowns of Galas past. 'Kindly Kiss My Entire Almost Back To Healthy A--'

P!nk is speaking out.

The 33-year-old singer took to her personal website on Saturday, addressing her recent cancelation of a show in the English city of Birmingham, and those that criticized her for it.

Born Alecia Moore, P!nk canceled the Birmingham show last month, citing a respiratory infection as her need to put off the performance.

The singer got some heat from both fans and critics who felt that she should've played her show. Never one to keep quiet, P!nk wrote an open letter on her website, apologizing for canceling the show and standing up for herself against the critics.

"I sincerely apologize, AGAIN, for any inconvenience this may have caused you," P!nk wrote to fans. "Sincerely. I actually rode by the venue, and saw some of you in line, and there was not a f--king thing I could do about any of it. Except cry. My heart was absolutely broken."

She went on to add, "For the loyal and understanding fans - I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way. For the rest of you - Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy a--."

Read P!nk's full letter below:

To all of the fans/friends/people/ticket buyers from the Birmingham show that I had to cancel: and I say "had" because I had absolutely no choice in the matter, no control over the circumstances, and physically could not get my sick ass on stage, because of an ear infection and chest infection all at the same time, and even a doctor told me I could not go on stage wether I wanted to or not: To all of you:

I sincerely apologize, AGAIN, for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sincerely. I actually rode by the venue, and saw some of you in line, and there was not a fucking thing I could do about any of it. Except cry. My heart was absolutely broken.

I am getting a lot of hate mail from some of you, not all. But to those of you that expect and feel entitled to perfection; Have a look at my track record- please- in general- for tours past. I have an incredible record. I do not cancel and I do not take it for granted how much trouble people go to- from spending hard earned money they don't have, to travel expenses and time and planning, etc. I take NOnE of it for granted, EVER. That's why I never phone it in. I go on stage and pour my fucking heart and body out on that stage. I ruin my body and my vocal chords, make myself sicker, come hell or high water. I don't lip sync, I don't rely on dancers to do my work for me. I try to put the best show on that I can, that any human being can, and I don't stop until I know you're happy.

I am a human being, therefore I am able to catch illness. It is beyond my control- and I can't apologize for that. And you know what I've been performing through the last week? ROTA virus. Look it up. I challenge any one of you to do what I do while sick with that. You couldn't do it.

The fact that I don't get the benefit of the doubt from you saddens me. There is no way I can make up this date. There isn't a way. And for any of you that believe in me, please know we did everything we could to try to make it happen. Everything. It's a logistical nightmare that is again, out of my control.

And guess what? I might actually get sick again on this tour. Can you imagine it? How dare I even think that? I have a two year old who is building her immune system by getting sick all over the place. And the fact that I even went on tour while being a full time mom is a miracle in itself.

The next time I schedule dates- ill have to say to myself- "if, God forbid I have to cancel one show, those fans will turn on me like rabid dogs and question the moral fabric of my character."

For the loyal and understanding fans- I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way. For the rest of you- Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy ass.

Love always, Alecia the human also known as p!nk

Big Names Close New Orleans Festival

NEW ORLEANS — For more than two decades, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has closed with a performance by the city's own Neville Brothers.

On Sunday, that tradition changed. Aaron Neville performed on a stage with his new band while young brass band frontman Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews closed the festival's biggest stage – where the Neville Brothers once held court the last day.

Andrews and his band, Orleans Avenue, entertained a jam-packed crowd as the festival ended its 2013 run. A sea of faces stretched to the track's back fence.

Neville said he views the closing lineup change as kind of a "passing of the guard.

"Trombone Slim, as I call him, will do a great job," Neville said of Andrews. "I remember when it was Professor Longhair out there and then we did it for a long time. It's time. Slim is a big musician and I'm proud of the way he's handled himself."

Neville is promoting his new album, "My True Story," released earlier this year. At 72, he says it's the right time to focus on a solo project.

"My brothers and I have been performing together like 35 years," Neville said. "I wanted to do some other things and I couldn't do both because of my age and my health, so I decided to back off the Brothers and focus on what I wanted to do. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be here and I would be mad at myself if I didn't take the time to do me."

His brothers – Art, Cyril and Charles – performed during the festival's first weekend under a new name, The Nevilles.

Still, he wasn't completely without family on stage. Charles Neville plays saxophone in his quintet. Aaron Neville gave fest-goers a good sampling of the new music which covers a musical genre close to his heart – doo-wop.

"If you listen to any of my music, there's a doo-wop essence to it," he said. "Since I was a little boy, I've listened to people like Clyde McPhatter and the like. Everything I've ever done has some doo-wop in it. It's innocent music. Music that tells the story of boy meets girl. Music I can listen to with my granddaughter and my grandmother and nobody gets offended."

Another closing day act was Hall & Oates, who made their Jazz Fest debut Sunday under sunny skies and a cool breeze that the crowd reveled in after several days of rain and muddy ground conditions.

John Oates said he and his longtime musical partner, Darryl Hall, have always wondered why this festival was never on their schedule.

"I can tell you, both Darryl and I haven't been more excited about a gig in about 20 to 30 years," Oates said. "We're really psyched and excited about the opportunity."

Adam Butler, of Lisle, Ill., said he came a long way for his first Jazz Fest, and Hall & Oates delivered. Their set included old favorites such as "Out of Touch," "Method of Love," "Maneater," and "Say It Isn't So." They closed the set with "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)," but came back for encore performances of "Rich Girl," "Kiss On My List," and "Private Eyes."

"Their music is timeless," said Butler, who sipped a margarita as he took in the music with friends from California, Indiana and Nevada.

Other closing day acts included Irma Thomas, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, The Black Keys, Taj Mahal and Pete Fountain.

Fans cheered and stretched their hands to the sky as Thomas sang bluesy numbers such as "Let's Stay Together," "It's Raining," "Forever Young" and "Let It Be Me."

During her upbeat medley of New Orleans favorites such as "Iko Iko" and "Hey Pocky Way," Thomas asked the thousands packed before the stage to wave a towel or handkerchief in a New Orleans tradition known as a second-line.

"We're so happy to see the sun, we don't know what to do," she said.

Many in the crowd were on their feet dancing.

"You can't sit still when you listen to Irma," said Cecelia Wright of San Diego, Calif., who has attended Jazz Fest every year for the past 30 years. "This festival has so many wonderful types of music. I don't come for the big names. I come for the jazz, the blues and the funk."

Among the music was a touch of romance as festival spokesman Matthew Goldman exchanged vows with Elise Gallinot on the front porch of a shotgun house on the festival grounds. The wedding party later second-lined to one of the music stages where a crawfish boil reception was held as the day closed.

Weddings are not uncommon at Jazz Fest, where couples in years past have gotten married between sets in the Gospel tent and other locations around the grounds.

Lindsay Lohan Gets VERY Candid In New Interview

Lindsay Lohan opens up about everything from her experiences with drugs and alcohol to her destructive family life in a new interview with Piers Morgan.

The 26-year-old troubled star, who started her 90-day lockdown rehab program on May 2 -- after leaving her New York and Newport Beach centers for the Betty Ford clinic -- talked to Morgan late last month and admitted that although rehab is "a good thing," it may not be what's best for her.

"I look at it as a good thing. I can come back afterwards and be fully focused on work. But I think there are other things I could do instead of going to a rehab center that would benefit me more," she tells Morgan, whose full interview with Lohan appears on the Daily Mail. "The best thing they could do for me would be to make me go abroad to different countries and work with children."

When Morgan asks her if she ever voluntarily sought out treatment, Lohan says, "Once. I went when I was doing a movie called 'I Know Who Killed Me,' and I hadn’t been drinking for a year at that point, but I was having really bad nightmares and the movie was pretty traumatizing. So I stayed in a facility so I could get some sleep and talk about it with someone the next day, because it was overwhelming. But I would leave every day and just sleep there at night," she continues, "I liked that. It was kind of like having my own live-in therapist, because I was having crazy nightmares and I was having AA meetings on set and stuff. It really helped."

As for whether or not she considers herself an alcoholic, Lohan says 'no' and reveals she's "never been a huge drinker."

"I don’t think so," she admits when asked if she has an alcohol problem. "But when I was younger I was definitely going out too much and I was drinking too much. I was accused of everything, even stealing a necklace. I’d never steal a necklace ... So, there’s like a slew of things that have gone on like that which have been such a strain."

Lohan also admits that she hardly does drugs and only did cocaine "maybe 4 or 5 times in my life."

"I don’t like it. It reminds me of my dad," she explains. "I took it four times in a period from about the age of 20 to 23, and I got caught twice ... It’s the truth. I’ve never taken heroin either, never injected myself with anything, never done LSD. Those things all scare me."

So, why is she in court-ordered rehab, you may ask?

"This is where it gets hard for me to explain," she tells Morgan. "I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people taking time to just be by themselves. I think people want to see me do that. They will keep saying the same things about me if I don’t. I don’t think it will be a bad thing for me to be away with myself for three months."

So, it sounds like all Lohan wants us to know is that she hardly does drugs, she's not a big drinker and rehab most likely won't work for her. Oh, and this ...

"I’ve never been a junkie, and never will be. I just like going out late to clubs with friends and listening to music. Always have done," she reveals. "It’s not that unusual for girls of 26!"

Kim Kardashian has admitted that being pregnant is not easy. And by the looks of her swollen feet, pregnancy really is painful for the reality TV queen.

Kardashian took to Twitter yesterday to share a photo of her blown-up feet and ankles on Instagram, writing:

The 32-year-old, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, has been judged for her maternity style, choosing to wear tight dresses and sky-high heels over loose-fitting frocks and flats.

"It’s pretty ridiculous. I love fashion, I love experimenting with fashion so for me to try all of these new things, pregnant or not pregnant, it’s been fun for me, whether they like it or not," she told Extra TV of the criticism. "It’s so funny because people would say, 'Take a cue from Kourtney, she looked so good pregnant!' So, I would borrow her clothes and that’s when I would get dogged out the most. We have such different bodies and the things that would look great on her, didn’t look great on me."

"My boyfriend also gets so defensive," she continued, "and he’ll call and say, 'Who’s saying mean things' and I’m like, “Don’t worry about it.” I’m so used to it."
