The "Bachelor" finale is just days away (Monday, March 11 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC) and viewers are waiting with baited breath to see if Sean Lowe will choose Lindsay or Catherine.

HuffPost TV has an exclusive sneak peek of the highly-anticipated "Bachelor" finale for Season 17 and Catherine is really putting her heart on the line. "I do get nervous because it is is so hard and it is very scary to be emotional and do it to somebody that means so much to me," she says in the clip above. Then, she tells Sean she can't imagine things ending "any other way ... than me accepting your proposal."

Later that night, Catherine makes the bold decision to tell Sean she loves him. But he doesn't respond even close to the way she wants him to. "After a told him, 'I love you,' I was looking at him and hoping that I could see a glimmer of, you know, 'I want to be with you forever.' But nothing," she says in confessional. "This is painful."

The evening ends with Catherine collapsed on the bed and Sean stuck in the middle of the two finalists. "At this point, the only thing that's holding me is knowing that there's still Lindsay," he says in his confessional. "I never thought I'd be in this situation. It's killing me."

Tune in to see who Sean chooses when the "Bachelor" finale airs on Monday, March 11 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

WATCH: Actor: Obama 'Should Die In His Boots' In Climate Change Fight

Actor and environmental activist Ed Begley Jr. doesn't think President Barack Obama is doing enough in the fight against climate change.

"He needs to do a lot more," Begley told HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski on Monday.

Begley, who has highlighted his own sustainable lifestyle in books and on TV, said that he supports the Obama administration overall and does think the president has accomplished more than other candidates would have. Still, he said Obama has been "very quick" to approve energy sources that he is not fond of and has had a hard time holding the line on things like energy efficiency.

"He needs to do more and I think he should die with his boots in some of these things," Begley said.

Begley is currently documenting he and his wife's attempt to build their home under LEED Platinum standards in a web series called "On Begley Street."

For years, Begley said he has successfully powered his home through wind and solar power. He told HuffPost Live he is against proposals like the Keystone XL Pipeline because he knows there are safer, more efficient ways we can get energy.

"It's not pie in the sky," he said. "With nuclear power, the worst energy-related accident is what happened at Chernobyl and what happened at Fukushima. What's the worst energy-related accident with solar panels on your roof?"

PHOTOS: Remembering Biggie Smalls

Saturday (March 9) marks the 16th anniversary of Biggie Smalls' untimely death at age 24.

The inimitable rapper, born Christopher Wallace, made headlines this year after a newly leaked autopsy report revealed startlingly graphic details about his 1997 murder in Los Angeles (Wallace was shot four times, and struck in the chest, shoulder, leg, forearm and scrotum, while in the passenger's seat of a Chevy Suburban on Wilshire Boulevard).

But the hip-hop legend is also frequently remembered by both his contemporaries and new generations of artists influenced by his music (though we won't mention this).

Even Jamie Foxx cited Biggie as a source of inspiration when preparing for his role in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained."

"I listened to a lot of Biggie Smalls. Whenever there was a time when I was getting ready for my scene, I would play 'Dead Wrong' or 'Somebody’s Gotta Die,' so there would be things like that that I would just use as fuel," Foxx recently told Vanity Fair.

Wallace would have been 41.

Ahh! Gene! Martin Mull will return to "Arrested Development" as Gene Parmesan, according to Jessica Walter. In an interview with Vulture discussing Lucille Bluth GIFs -- yes, you read that right -- Walter revealed everybody's favorite master of disguise will return to delight Lucille once more.

“First of all, Martin Mull, who plays Gene, is so adorable. I did like getting to smile and scream," Walter said about her character's reaction to Gene Parmesan. "You know, there’s something very little-girly about Lucille. I don’t see her as any kind of a villain. She gets excited about these surprises of his because I believe that’s how she’d react! ... Gene comes back. He’s in our new season. He fools me again! I couldn’t wait to film that episode, truly."

Mull isn't the only returning guest star. Basically every famous face who popped up during the comedy's original three year run will show up during the Netflix revival of "Arrested Development." Judy Greer, Mae Whitman, Liza Minnelli, Ben Stiller, Henry Winkler and Scott Baio are among the returning guest stars. In addition to the familiar faces, Kristen Wiig, Seth Rogen, Isla Fisher and John Slattery will appear.

WATCH: An Epic New 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Teaser

Good news, Trekkies! A new teaser trailer for "Star Trek Into Darkness" has been released to tide fans other until the movie's May debut.

The teaser (shown above) is short but powerful. Fans will see a rebellious Chris Pine reprising his role as James T. Kirk, impressive effects guiding quick action scenes, and a glimpse of Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura. "Star Trek Into Darkness" also stars Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, and John Cho. The film is directed by JJ Abrams, who also led 2009's "Star Trek."

"I don't like going to the movies to feel bad. I don't like going to the movies to feel depressed and feel diminished. The reason you go to the movies is to feel bigger and stronger and happier," Abrams said about the film in December. "So this is a movie that they certainly go 'Into Darkness,' but I would be the wrong director if it was about characters staying there. This is very much a movie about hope, about love, about romance, and about facing something that is truly terrifying and finding a way through the connection of your family and surviving and being stronger afterwards."

"Star Trek Into Darkness" is set for a full theatrical release on May 17. Last month, a new app for the movie allowed fans to purchase IMAX 3D tickets for the film for May 15.

Sources connected with the 28-year-old "Fashion Police" star tell TMZ that the seizure was far more serious than first suspected and doctors are still running tests. It's possible it was an isolated incident, but professionals are also saying that there's a chance Osbourne has epilepsy. Insiders also reveal that she'll be in the hospital for a few more days.

Meanwhile, Osbourne's mom Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter yesterday to reassure fans that her daughter was OK.

Kelly herself also shared an update on the social media site, thanking her followers for the support and confirming her medical situation.

What Does Chelsea Handler Know About Jennifer Aniston's Wedding?

What does Chelsea Handler know about Jennifer Aniston's wedding? Not much.

Handler revealed she isn't in-the-know when it comes to Aniston's wedding, People magazine notes. When sitting down with Katie Couric on Friday, the E! comedian said her bestie hasn't really been chatting her up about any nuptial details.

"I think everyone is very happy for Jennifer Aniston, that she seems like she's in love and that she's really excited about her wedding," the talk show host said. "So can you give us any any dish on that?"

"I don't know! I honestly don't know anything about it," Handler told Couric about Aniston's wedding. "I don't. She doesn't consult me about her plans. I'm sure I'll find out about it when it's about to happen... for privacy issues."

Reports have circulated that Handler is one of Aniston's bridesmaids, but don't expect her to take on the top duty.

In October, Handler denied reports she will be Aniston's maid of honor. “No, I'm not going to be maid of honor because she has other friends that she is much closer too," she told Extra. "We are good friends, but no she's not going to ask me. No, that would be really weird."

Although the wedding details are being kept under wraps, it is certainly no secret Handler and Aniston are great friends. In fact, they are so close that the "Chelsea Lately" host isn't afraid to publicly diss Aniston's foe, Angelina Jolie. Even though she claims it has nothing to do with the "We're the Millers" star.

"She seems like a demon," Handler said of Jolie while speaking with Bravo's Andy Cohen on March 5. "It has nothing to do with Jennifer. As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that's a bad girl. I just don't like Angelina Jolie. I don't think she's a girl's girl. I like girls' girls!"

"Oz: The Great and Powerful" took a major lead at the weekend box office Friday as the film opened at 3,912 theaters. The James Franco-led "Oz" brought in $24.1 million, a total which THR reports puts the film on pace for a weekend gross in the range of $69 to $74 million, with some sources expecting totals to reach $80 million. "Oz," which received a CinemaScore of B+ from moviegoers, had a production budget of $215 million. The reboot of the classic "Wizard of Oz" tale also stars Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, and Rachel Weisz, and has reportedly already been given the go-ahead for a sequel.

"Oz: The Great and Powerful" blew away its competition on Friday, with the second place film, "Jack the Giant Slayer" making more than $20 million less than "Oz." "Jack" made $2.5 million across 3,525 theaters on Friday, bringing its total domestic gross to $36.3 million since its release. "Jack" has had a disappointing box office run so far, as the film had a production budget of $195 million.

Also opening this week was "Dead Man Down," a thriller starring Colin Farrell and Terrence Howard. The film had a rough opening, taking the number three spot on Friday with $1.8 million at 2,188 theaters.

Comedies "Identity Thief" and "21 and Over" took the number four and five spots, respectively. "Identity Thief," starring Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman, made $1.8 million across 3,002 theaters. The film has grossed $112 million to date. "21 and Over" brought in $1.6 million across 2,771 theaters on Friday, bringing its total domestic gross to a measly $13.4 million.

Selena Gomez Helped Dad Pick Up Hooters Waitresses

Selena Gomez was once a favorite at Hooters.

The 20-year-old Texas beauty covers the April issue of Harper's Bazaar and reveals inside that when she was a little girl she used to help her father, Ricardo, pick up waitresses at Hooters after her dad split from her mom.

“When I was seven, my dad would go to Hooters to watch [San Antonio] Spurs games, but he started noticing that when I would come, with my little pigtails, all the waitresses would be like, 'Hey!'” Gomez tells Bazaar about her Hooters trips, according to the New York Post. “So he ended up spending time with me but with all those cute girls coming over. And that became our thing.”

The "Spring Breakers" star previously opened up about her parents' divorce to E! News. Her mom and dad broke up when Gomez was just 5 years old.

"I blame my mom a lot, because I wanted a family so bad," she said. "I wanted to have my dad and my mom together. So, it was really hard. I remember just being really angry with my mom. And I still feel really bad for that."

Although adorable little Selena was once a Hooters hit for her dad, the single starlet has had trouble finding dates herself these days.

"(I don’t get) asked out a lot," Gomez told Bazaar about dating post-Justin Bieber. "When I actually look presentable, I'm at an awards show. It's not like I've wanted to go out and look for someone. I'm not really good at that." But she still believes in love. "I believe in love -- yes, I'm one of those girls," she said.

Still, Gomez says she is happy and "having a lot of fun" with her friends these days. "I've been telling people I'm definitely a little bit more sassy now," she told E! News. "I'm a little bit more mouthy."

Rapper's Death Wish For Rock Band

Azealia Banks has added the Stone Roses to her list of enemies, joining the ranks of Perez Hilton, Angel Haze, Jim Jones, and many others.

Banks played a show in Australia this week as a part of the Future Music Festival, a gig that rock band Stone Roses booked too. According to Banks' recent tweets, her set went less than smoothly because of the Stone Roses.

"Big apologies on behalf of the Stone Roses to my fans at the festival today," Banks wrote. "My ex-tour manager made a pact with the Stone Toses saying they'd sabotage my set because I fired him... They decided to check their equipment behind me during my set."

Banks recently fired her manager, after accusing him of stealing from her.

Never one to back down from a fight, Banks took it a step further, calling the members of Stone Roses "old saggy white n----s" and wishing death upon them. Banks has since deleted the tweets, but a screenshot of her original statements can be seen below.

What Did Joss Whedon Think Of 'Lost'?

0
0

Joss Whedon screened his delightful Shakespeare adaptation "Much Ado About Nothing" at the 2013 SXSW Film Festival on Saturday afternoon, but during a post-screening question and answer session, one intrepid audience member had little interest in the Bard's tale. Austin resident Peyton McLeod wanted to know if Whedon, the geek master of the universe behind "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," "Firefly" and "Marvel's The Avengers," had ever watched "Lost."

"Settle in, people," Whedon said as the audience at the Vimeo Theater inside the Austin Convention Center laughed. Was Whedon about to throw the polarizing series, produced and co-created by fellow geek icon J.J. Abrams,, under the bus?

"I've never seen it," Whedon said, to some surprise. "I missed out on a lot of culture: you either make TV or you watch it. So, yeah I've never seen it."

That doesn't necessarily mean Whedon didn't have at least some awareness about the popular show. "I hear it's really good and then it gets confusing," Whedon said.

Fans of "Lost" who spent more than a few hours unpacking origins of the smoke monster are probably nodding in agreement.

Check back to HuffPost Entertainment for more from Whedon and his "Much Ado About Nothing" cast.

Judd Planning To Announce Run For Senate, Sources Say

0

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Ashley Judd, the 44-year-old actress and social activist, has told key advisers and political figures that she is planning to announce her candidacy for U.S. Senate here this spring.

Judd told one close ally that she plans to announce her run for the Democratic nomination for the 2014 race “around Derby” -- meaning in early May when the Kentucky Derby brings national attention to Louisville and the Bluegrass State.

Reached for comment by email Saturday, Judd offered a not-quite-ironclad denial to The Huffington Post. “I am not sure who is saying this stuff, but it is not I! I’d prefer as a fan of your journalism that you stay accurate and credible. We told everyone who called us yesterday these stories are fabrications.”

But she declined to specify which "stories,” did not say what wasn't "accurate,” and did not respond when asked directly whether she had, in fact, decided to run or chosen a time to declare her intentions.

“I know she knows she has to declare soon,” said one source, a highly placed elected official who declined to be identified because he was discussing private plans.

"She could always change her mind," he added. "I changed my mind twice before I finally declared. But as of now it is a done deal.” She has discussed her plans, sources say, with former Gov. Wendell H. Ford, the 88-year-old dean of Kentucky Democrats, among others.

The announcement, her allies told The Huffington Post, could “clear the field” of major contenders for the Democratic nomination, setting up a wild, made-for-YouTube contest between the free-wheeling, media-savvy Hollywood actress, and the methodically accusatory machine of the five-term Republican senator -- and Senate minority leader -- Mitch McConnell of Louisville.

Judd, sources say, is working with New York pollster Jefrey Pollock; has interviewed a number of media consultants including Anita Dunn, formerly of the Obama campaigns, and J.B. Poersch, the former head of the Democrats' national senate campaign committee, as well as leaders of Emily's List; and is lining up allies and field organizers. Advisers in Lexington are working on her filing papers and other technical issues.

As early as last summer, according to a top Democratic fundraiser with ties to President Barack Obama. Judd discussed the role of a woman candidate in a Senate race with another Pollock client, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).

Judd has some prominent backers in the state, led by Rep. John Yarmuth of Louisville; Christy Brown, whose family controls the Brown-Forman distilling fortune; and Brown’s son-in-law Matthew Barzun, the former ambassador to Sweden (and probable future ambassador to the United Kingdom), who was Obama’s finance chairman in the 2012 campaign.

Normally a candidate such as Judd would have to fight through a difficult field of seasoned, and generally more conservative, Kentucky Democrats. But several of them are focused instead on the governor’s race in 2015, and others doubt whether they could beat the experienced and tough McConnell.

The Kentucky Democratic establishment gathered in Owensboro Wednesday night at a banquet -- headlined by former President Bill Clinton -- in Ford’s honor and much of the private talk centered on which Democrat, if any, could mount a primary challenge against Judd, whose candidacy many of them fear.

“We don’t really have anybody,” said one.

The most likely alternative is Alison Lundergan Grimes, the 34-year-old secretary of state. The well-connected daughter of former Democratic state chairman Jerry Lundergan, Grimes is polite, earnest and cautious. She recently worked to ensure that Kentuckians in the military serving abroad could vote electronically.

Her father was a prominent Clinton supporter, and the former president took time in Owensboro to privately advise Grimes and her father after the Ford event.

But asked by The Huffington Post whom he supported in the Kentucky U.S. Senate race, Clinton demurred. “I don’t know because I have to wait and see who gets in,” he said.

Currently a resident of Nashville, Tenn., where other members of the performing Judd clan have ties, Judd must establish a new residence in Kentucky by November 2013. Under Kentucky law, candidates must have been residents of the commonwealth for a year before Election Day.

She is expected to live in Lexington, where she studied at the University of Kentucky and still attends UK basketball games. In fact, when interviewed on Saturday via email, Judd was busy watching her beloved Wildcats on TV.

A champion of global women’s rights and an ardent environmentalist, Judd admittedly would start her campaign with more ties in Hollywood than in the old-fashioned courthouses of Kentucky’s myriad 120 (mostly rural) counties.

Some Democrats, here and in Washington, fear that Judd is just the kind of glamorous liberal the GOP loves to run against in Kentucky and across the country. Some are concerned that the GOP will make her candidacy a national cause.

But Judd is smart, feisty and charming, and probably can, as one local here put it, “out-Kentucky and out-country” the Louisville-based, owlishly professorial McConnell in a state where down-home, one-handshake-at-a-time style still matters.

Judd made her intentions clear at a private dinner last month at Brown's Louisville home. Asked if she was tough enough to take on McConnell and the GOP national attack machine, Judd reportedly answered, “I have been raped twice, so I think I can handle Mitch McConnell.”

Judd was born in California, but spent most of her youth and school years in Kentucky. A Democrat who has been an advocate for causes for years, she more recently began focusing on a career in electoral politics after enrolling at Harvard in 2009 to obtain a master’s in public administration.

Judd considered running for office in Tennessee before turning her attention to Kentucky, according to one of her leading supporters in Louisville.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, whose leaders were cool to the high-risk but intriguing Judd candidacy, in recent days has taken new polls that show McConnell -- never an overwhelming winner despite his lofty status -- is more vulnerable to a Judd campaign than originally thought.

Judd would hardly be a textbook candidate in a mostly red state with a Democratic governor that has not gone for a Democratic presidential candidate since Clinton in 1996. “Kentucky has changed a lot in recent years,” said Crit Luallen, the former state auditor and a potential candidate for governor.

Being an “environmentalist” in Kentucky is a tricky matter. Among other things, Judd is a foe of “mountain-top removal” in strip mining, a hideous practice but nevertheless one that is defended in much of the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky. Those who oppose it are seen as outsiders who don’t understand the mountains.

This week she got some political cover on that issue as state Rep. Greg Stumbo of Eastern Kentucky took a strong public position against the practice.

Judd is given to cultural statements that might sound acceptably thought-provoking in Los Angeles but not necessarily so in conservative Kentucky -- such as her comment that she didn’t want to have children because there is too much suffering and poverty in the world.

She is an ardent Obama supporter and progressive on most social issues. She recently announced the end of her marriage to her race-car driver husband, and racy pictures and video from her movie career are plentiful and easy to find on the Internet. She writes movingly and openly about the challenges she faces from her bipolar disorder.

But Judd was born to campaign. A fighter by nature, she has a quick wit and the ability to raise far more money – not to mention engender more free national and local media – than all of McConnell’s past Democratic foes put together.

She is fearless, and would not necessarily lose a bar fight if she got into one, which she is about to do.

Justin Joins The Five-Timers Club On 'SNL'

Justin Timberlake joined the most exclusive club in New York when he hosted "Saturday Night Live" this week, the Five-Timers Club.

Entering the ranks of Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and many more, Timberlake was welcomed into the lounge where some of the most beloved hosts of the show seem to just hang out and make current cast members fight for their amusement.

The monologue turned into a who's-who of SNLs past, featuring Simon, Martin, Dan Aykroyd (who was relegated to tending bar since he's only hosted the show once), Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Alec Baldwin, Hanks, and Candice Bergen.

At one point, while standing next to Martin, Chase & Short, Timberlake even seemed to say what the audience was already thinking, "Oh my god, I just realized I'm standing next to The Three Amigos."

The Five-Timers club was first introduced in 1990 when Tom Hanks hosted the show for the fifth time. Hanks' opening monologue transitioned to the club where he met Martin, Simon, and Elliott Gould. The club was subsequently mentioned during episodes helmed by Danny DeVito (1993), Alec Baldwin (1994), John Goodman (1994), Christopher Walken (2001), and Drew Barrymore (2007).

6 Reasons Why Chuck Norris Is The Best Post 50 Action Star Ever

0
0

A universal fact? Chuck Norris is not someone you want to mess with.

It's a fact that's remained constant even as the action star has gotten older, something that can't be said for his contemporaries Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. While these guys feel the need to relive their glory days in ill-conceived blow-'em-up movies (Ah-nold teaming up with Johnny Knoxville in "The Last Stand" was a new low for all of us), Norris lets his past work and fists of fury speak for themselves. We doubt Norris, a man of few words but many roundhouse kicks, would trade in on his persona as a bad ass to become an aging action star cliche. And for that, Mr. Norris, we tip our 10-gallon hats to you.

As Chuck Norris celebrates his birthday today -- the man is turning an ass-kicking 73 -- we think the following will serve as further evidence as to why he is the best post50 action star there is.

Like your mom, Chuck Norris has eyes in the back of his head. All the better to school troublemakers with.

Two fists? Pretty tough. Three fists? Hide under your beds immediately, bad guys! (It's no use though -- Walker will still find you.)

Olivia Wilde and Jake Johnson Are 'Drinking Buddies'

0
0

AUSTIN, Texas — "Drinking Buddies" is a comedy about blurring the line between work friendship and budding romance. And when you work in a brewery – and partake of your product as often as you can – that line gets even blurrier.

Writer/director Joe Swanberg premiered his movie Saturday night at the South By Southwest film festival. Known for indie flicks with minuscule budgets, he brought his eighth film to the Austin gathering. It's also easily the biggest production, with a cast featuring Olivia Wilde, Anna Kendrick, Jake Johnson and Ron Livingston.

Walking the red carpet, Swanberg said he didn't feel extra pressure despite the more-lavish production.

"The film grew to its size really organically," he said. "There wasn't a concerted effort to make something bigger; it's just that this was a story that I wanted to tell and then, as the actors came on board, the budget grew."

Though the plot was scripted, Swanberg had the actors improvise their dialogue so that the audience could "see real people coming through."

"You're not watching famous Hollywood actors playing roles, what you're seeing is their personalities shining through," he said. "They're still playing characters, but they're bringing a lot of themselves into it."

Wilde said she so relished making her lines up as she went along that "Drinking Buddies is the highlight of her career so far.

"It's the thing I'm most proud of," she said. "I feel that I devoted myself to this in a way I've never done. Improvising the entire film meant that I was constantly creating."

Wilde and Jake Johnson of TV's "New Girl" play colleagues at a Chicago brewery whose close friendship teeters on turning into something more – even though both are in relationships with other people.

Kendrick, who garnered an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for "Up in the Air" and also starred in "Pitch Perfect" and "50/50," plays Johnson's girlfriend. Livingston, of "Office Space" fame is involved with Wilde. But another star of the movie is beer, with bottles and glasses and plastic cups of it being swigged from copiously throughout.

The movie features few characters – though Swanberg himself makes a cameo – and the dialogue they share often feels spontaneous. That left a packed-house crowd at the Texas capital's stately Paramount Theatre laughing early and often on the festival's second night.

"It's a different muscle," Livingston said of improvising. He added of Swanberg: "He'll go without a net. He's not afraid to change the story as we go."

Johnson said he came of age improvising on stage and continues to do so at times on his television show.

"Joe knew what he wanted so it wasn't free form," Johnson said. "It was very disciplined improv."

Swanberg lives in Chicago and filmed on-location at breweries there. An avid home-brewer, he said he picked up more than a few choice tips during shooting.

"Making a movie in a brewery," Swanberg said, "that's about the greatest thing I could imagine."

Green Day returned to the stage over the weekend, performing its first concert since frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's stint in rehab.

According to Rolling Stone, the band played a sold-out, 2-hour show on Sunday at the Fox Theater in Pomona, Calif. The concert was reportedly the first of four warm-up shows that the band will play before kick-starting its arena tour in late March.

Green Day had previously postponed the start of its 2013 world tour after Armstrong's "meltdown" onstage during a concert at Las Vegas' iHeartRadio Music Festival in September. According to an Associated Press report at the time, the Green Day frontman launched into a profanity-filled rant and smashed his guitar on stage at the festival. A couple of days later, the band's rep announced that Armstrong would be headed to rehab for substance abuse.

“I remember tiny things,” Armstrong recently told Rolling Stone of the iHeartRadio show. “The next morning, I woke up. I asked [my wife] Adrienne, ‘How bad was it?’ She said, ‘It’s bad.’ I called my manager. He said, ‘You’re getting on a plane, going back to Oakland and going into rehab immediately.’”

According to the music website Consequence of Sound, Green Day played a lot of older material at its concert on Sunday -- specifically favorites such as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and "Holiday" from 2004's "American Idiot," as well as punk classics including "She" and "Basket Case" from the band's 1994 album "Dookie." As the band embarks on its world tour, the musicians are expected to present new material from last year's three-album series ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tre!

After shows in Tempe, Ariz., and El Paso, Texas, this week, the band is expected to perform at the Moody Theater at the SXSW festival in Austin on Friday.
