Is A Leather Jumpsuit OK?

$

We've got to hand it to Jennifer Lopez. J.Lo has been in the business for 22 years, and she still manages to grab the spotlight. But this time it was due to what she was wearing, unlike earlier this week, when she shocked us by hitting the red carpet without wearing something most of us consider essential.

Lopez appeared on the "Katie" show to discuss, amongst other things, her devastating divorce from Marc Anthony and her new film "Parker," all whilst wearing a leather jumpsuit and dangerously spiked Christian Louboutin pumps. We know the superstar has a particular affinity for jumpsuits (especially of the sparkly variety), but this was a first. What do you think? Was it a hit or a miss?

Ellen Kardashian Slams Kim And Khloe For Calling Her 'Trash'

Sounds like this brutal battle isn't going to end anytime soon.

Robert Kardashian's widow, Ellen Kardashian, who released suspicious excerpts from what she says is her late husband's journal this week -- claiming Kris Jenner was an abusive mother -- is fighting back after Kim and Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to slam her allegations.

Keep in mind that the fourth wife of the famed late attorney, whom he married two months before he died of esophageal cancer in 2003, is the same woman who last year alleged that Robert's youngest daughter Khloe was not his biological child, but the product of an affair.

Ellen tells In Touch of the journals, “I am simply stating the facts and the truth -- their father’s truth. I simply delivered hand-written diaries from their father. They are my property at the disposal of whatever I so choose. Robert would have no problem with that.”

“How can such a piece of trash even mention my father’s name?" Khloe tweeted on Jan. 24 after the reports of Kris' alleged abuse surfaced. "You married him on his deathbed while he was not even aware of his surroundings.”

“That is completely false and horrible," Ellen tells In Touch of Khloe's comments. "I was with Robert for almost five years total. I dated him for three years, and he proposed to me in 2001. We married two months prior to his passing in 2003 and planned a wedding -- we didn’t just run right out and get married. In fact, I met with the girls just the week before to go over all our plans. We had a beautiful wedding with the girls and all of his family at our home. It’s sad they choose to lie when they know their father was so happy on that wonderful day.”

Ellen also bashes Kim for telling her to "get a job," explaining to In Touch, "Get a job? Really? I have a career. I am a successful business professional who has worked hard in my profession for 25 years. My God, I’ve worked since I was 18 years old.”

And that's not all. Ellen addresses Khloe's bankruptcy comments, saying that she took her lawyer's advice once real estate went south. "When Robert died, he left me a big mortgage on both homes, and I had to pay," Ellen says, adding that she let the bank take her home. "To get out from underneath everything else, they filed bankruptcy at the same time. That's true and a record anyone can pull up at the County Recorder."

Ellen even took the time to clear up another tweet by Kim, which stated that Ellen was Robert's ex.

"I am not his ex! I am his widow! I have nothing to hide," Ellen tells In Touch. "I have not belittled them or chastised them or said shameful things about them. If this was about money, I would have done this nine years ago, because I'm not the one who was left the insurance policy.”

A rep for the Kardashian-Jenner family denied the allegations, telling Gossip Cop they had "no knowledge of these diaries existing and these accusations are ridiculous and not true.”

Even without the family's statement the claims seem questionable given that Ellen appears to pop up every few months with a new bombshell about the family.

Swatting Takes Over Hollywood

$

LOS ANGELES — Celebrities have long contended with the occasional downsides of stardom – tabloid scandals, stalkers, box office bombs, the paparazzi. Now, add "swatting" to the list – a prank that sends police charging to the gates of stars' homes on false reports of gunmen, hostages or other crimes in progress.

Instead of bad guys, responding officers, police dogs, helicopters and sometimes SWAT teams have found only stunned domestic and security staff unaware of any trouble – because there wasn't any.

The recent hoax 911 calls to the homes of Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher, Chris Brown and other stars are leading authorities to eye some 911 calls with extra suspicion and lawmakers to call for stiffer penalties for the pranksters.

"This is a very vexing problem that needs to be fixed at the early stages," said California State Sen. Ted Lieu, who is proposing tough consequences, including hefty fines, for those caught swatting. "If this isn't resolved, this will result in a tragic situation."

Swatting is the rare trend that actually didn't start in Hollywood. Authorities in Dallas, Washington state, Alabama and elsewhere have arrested teens and young men for bogus 911 calls that have drawn large police responses and in some cases, resulted in innocent people being detained by police.

The term comes from the pranksters' desire to have heavily armed special weapons teams dispatched to their calls. That doesn't always happen, but the calls tie up resources ranging from dispatchers, patrol officers, helicopters, detectives and cyber-crime specialists.

The Beverly Hills Police Department estimated more than half of its emergency resources were occupied with the Cruise swatting call on Jan. 17. It was just one of a rash of calls aimed at celebrities over the next several days, including a false claim there was a domestic violence incident at Brown's home.

"We're getting much better at deciphering what is real and what is not," said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The agency has handled calls at Bieber's home and a former Kardashian family home.

Patrol units will check out every call but will hold off calling in the big guns until signs of an actual crime emerge, he said.

Authorities in the Los Angeles area are concerned that the high-profile calls against stars are inspiring copycats who perhaps notice the immediate attention swatting incidents command on tabloid news sites.

Los Angeles police Cmdr. Andrew Smith said the department has seen an increase in the number of swatting calls since last year, when stars such as Kutcher, Bieber and Cyrus were targeted.

"People are jumping on the bandwagon thinking it's funny or a clever or interesting," Smith said. The calls aren't just tying up patrol officers, but also investigators probing the pranks who could be assigned to larger crimes.

"The last thing we want to have our detectives do is spend a bunch of time on a foolish prank like this," he said. "We want our detective handling robberies, burglaries and other crimes."

Police arrested a 12-year-old boy in December who is suspected of placing swatting calls at numerous homes, including Kutcher's. That call brought out many heavily-armed officers and prompted the actor to leave the set of "Two and a Half Men" to make sure his home and workers were safe.

Prosecutors are still evaluating potential charges against the boy.

"If we catch you, and we're going to catch you, you're going to be prosecuted," Smith said. "We've got some pretty clever detectives in this department. They'll find out who did these things."

There are also concerns that swatting will lead officers to treat certain 911 calls differently.

"At some point, we don't want law enforcement to feel like this is another cry-wolf situation," Lieu said.

Smith said that's a possibility, but he said officers are being told to treat all 911 calls with caution, even if they know they're traveling to a celebrity's home and the call has the traits of a prank.

The California bill, which is also being proposed by Assemblyman Mike Gatto, would increase the penalties for convicted swatters to up to three years in jail if someone was hurt as a result of their call, and also make them responsible for the costs of the emergency response.

Whitmore and Smith said they did not have precise estimates for how much swatting calls cost, and it does not appear any agency is tracking the phenomenon nationwide.

The term swatting was coined by the Dallas FBI office a few years ago after its agents busted a group responsible for 60 hoax calls around the nation. The group's leader was sentenced to more than five years in prison and ordered to pay more than $75,000 in fines, although most swatting calls are handled by local authorities.

Hoaxers often use a computer and programs available online to trick 911 systems into thinking the distress calls are coming from the address where officers are dispatched, even though the prankster may be miles, or several states, away.

Although the use of Internet phone providers can make it harder to track the callers, "nothing on the internet is ever terribly secret," Smith said. "There's always going to be a trail,"

Spoofing a phone number is legal and used for many legitimate business purposes, but it has become a favorite technique of pranksters to harass strangers or send pizza deliverymen or locksmiths to unwitting targets' homes.

Dr. John Grohol, a research psychologist who studies internet behavior and founded the online community PsychCentral.com, said the motivation for celebrity swatting may be rooted in the hoaxers desire to impact the stars' lives and gain notoriety for themselves in online communities.

"You have to kind of look at it from the perspective that most people don't have a lot of opportunity to affect a celebrity's life directly," Grohol said. "This is a way that a person can feel empowered."

Ben Affleck sheltered his 11-month-old son Samuel from the rain as he and wife Jennifer Garner went to watch their daughters Violet and Seraphina's karate class in Los Angeles, Calif., yesterday (Jan. 25).

As the adorable family left the studio, 7-year-old Violet sported a red belt, while 4-year-old Seraphina showed off her yellow one, as well as a certificate. Way to go girls!

"My daughters do karate," Affleck told Jimmy Kimmel recently, adding, "I wouldn't call it a sport as much as I'd call it a discipline."

"They know that it's a way of peace and it's purely defensive and they would never use their powers to hurt others," he continued, "But if you tangle with them ... they'll rip your nuts off."

Happy Birthday, Ellen! 55 Reasons We Love Her

$
0
0

Ellen DeGeneres is one of those women who seems ageless. Her energy, kindness and ability to make us laugh evidently have no bounds. However, Ellen is, in fact, mortal, and her 55th birthday is January 26th.

The celebrations started early on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" -- readers sent in virtual gifts, and Ellen played a slideshow of her unbelievably adorable baby photos. And let's not forget the birthday cake.

Recently we commemorated Michelle Obama's 49th birthday with a list of 49 things we love about the first lady, and we created a similar list for Hillary Clinton when she turned 65 in October. It's only fitting that we give Ellen the tribute she deserves, too.

So here's our list, 55 reasons to love Ellen Degeneres on her 55th:

1. She finally brought Kristen Bell a sloth. After Bell revealed her sloth-related 31st birthday breakdown on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in early 2012, Ellen joked that she had a cute sloth waiting backstage to introduce Bell to. Ellen finally made good on that promise during Bell's January 2013 appearance, when Ellen invited the actress to feed bananas to a visiting sloth named Lola.

2. In 2008, Ellen told Modern Dog magazine: "My life is my journey, and mine alone. I either feel good about something, or if I don't, I know I made a mistake [and I] learn from it."

3. She has her own ride at Disney. Ellen's Energy Adventure is a popular attraction at the Epcot Future World park.

4. She is constantly early. Interviewers at O, The Oprah Magazine and Good Housekeeping noted Ellen's early arrival for their appointments -- apparently a rarity among celebrities.

5. Her hilarious campaign to appear on the cover of O, The Oprah Magazine. Ellen begged her way onto the cover of O by mentioning it on her show constantly, photoshopping images of herself onto existing covers of past issues and creating an "O Yes I Can" vision board. In December 2009, Ellen's wish came true when she appeared with Oprah on an O cover. The only other person who had ever been pictured with Oprah was Michelle Obama.

6. She's funny without cursing -- because it's more difficult. In 2004, she told NBC's Stone Phillips:" I mean, if you put "f***" in front of anything, an audience is going to laugh. You know? It just-- it's easy. And I like a challenge."

7. The best seat in the house at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is reserved for Ellen's mom, Betty. In the October 2011 issue of Good Housekeeping, David Hochman wrote that Ellen's octogenarian mother was a regular at tapings of her daughter's show.

8. She was the voice of Dory in "Finding Nemo."

9. She's an advocate for the environment, and encourages her viewers to think about how they can affect change on ecological issues. She was quoted in "The Green Book" as saying: "People don’t realize how little it takes to change our world for the better."

10. Her motto is "Let's try to beat that."

11. She challenged Michelle Obama to a push-up contest -- and lost gracefully. When FLOTUS appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in early 2012 to promote "Let's Move!," Ellen challenged her to a push-up competition. It didn't end well for Ellen, but she was a good loser.

12. She believes that humor should always be kind, and holds herself to a high standard of compassion. She told Good Housekeeping:

"The most important thing for me is to know that I represent kindness. I'm glad I'm funny. I'm glad I make people happy, because that's very important. But I'm proud to be known as a kind person. You listen to any monologue on late-night TV or just in general, to people talking, and there's always a joke at someone's expense. It's sarcasm; it's nasty.
Kids grow up hearing that, and they think that's what humor is, and they think it's OK. But that negativity permeates the entire planet."

13. She became an ethical vegan in 2009 -- at the age of 50, proving it's never too late to live according to your beliefs.

14. She worked a variety of jobs before getting into her groove as a comedian. In her teens and early twenties, Ellen worked as a legal associate, vacuum salesperson, TGIFriday's waitress, house painter, oyster shucker and sales clerk, among other things. She has stated that these experiences inspired many of her early comedy routines.

15. She tries not to judge others. In an interview with O, The Oprah Magazine, Ellen said: "I am saddened by how people treat one another and how we are so shut off from one another and how we judge one another, when the truth is, we are all one connected thing. We are all from the same exact molecules."

16. She came out on "Ellen." Coming out can be a very difficult personal step -- emphasis on the personal. We love that Ellen's announcement was filled with humor and aired publicly on her sitcom. Despite the possibility of a backlash -- which followed almost immediately -- she chose not to hide.

17. She was named Showtime's "Funniest Person in America" in 1982 -- and is still making us laugh over 20 years later. Ellen has longevity in a notoriously difficult business.

18. Readers voted her 1997 TIME magazine cover one of the best ever.

19. She was the first female comedian invited to sit on the couch with Johnny Carson. Ellen appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" in 1986. She told Entertainment Weekly: "It was a big deal, because he'd only done that, at the time, with a few men in the history of the show."

20. She hosted the Oscars in 2007, making her only the second women to M.C. the Academy Awards solo. Critics were divided on her performance, but Tom Shales of the Washington Post called it "a crisp and unpretentious job."

21. She doesn't think entertainers need to be sexualized. In 2004, she told TIME: "In a way, I think we've seen enough nudity. It's getting to where we're all numb, and in a way, I'm against (sigh) all the sexuality that's all over the place."

22. She won't compromise herself in the name of success. She told Oprah: "I want people to like me -- but not at my expense."

23. She collects antique portraits, proving that you can be incredibly successful and famous and still not be entirely mainstream.

24. If she could be anonymous for a day, she would do totally normal things. Ellen told Good Housekeeping: "I like sitting at outdoor restaurants; it would be nice to go someplace on the street and not worry about somebody taking my picture while I'm about to take a bite of something."

25. She became a CoverGirl in 2009, and was unapologetically herself in the campaign.

26. ...and used that platform to grant a young girl's wish. In September 2012, Ellen invited her long-time fan and teen cancer patient Tara Castellano to appear on her show. Ellen made Tara an honorary CoverGirl.

27. She describes her greatest achievements as "being able to do what I love, and being able to install a dimmer." Awesome.

28. Her dramatic reading of "Fifty Shades Of Grey" still has us laughing. Do not eat the pancakes.

29. Her prom picture re-take. Ellen swapped awkward prom photos with Michelle Obama, then re-staged hers, totally owning her teen awkwardness.

30. Criticism about her appearance doesn't faze her. In response to appearing on a worst-dressed list, Ellen said: "This business manipulates and screws up women's — and men's — views of what we're all supposed to look like… My gender-bender style is apparently a bore."

31. She's full of energy -- all the time. In 2006, Ellen told Redbook: "I'd like to be more patient! I just want everything now. I've tried to meditate, but it's really hard for me to stay still. I'd like to try to force myself to do it, because everybody says how wonderful meditation is for you, but I can't shut my mind up. So patience and learning is the key."

32. In 2012, she won the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Ellen's response to the news was typically hilarious: "It's such an honor to receive the Mark Twain Prize. To get the same award that has been given to people like Bill Cosby, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell, it really makes me wonder… why didn't I get this sooner?"

33. She doesn't let her critics get her down. She told Shape magazine: “When I came to Hollywood, my whole motivation was to be loved and appreciated, which is the stupidest thing in the world … You think, ‘If I’m famous, everyone will love me.’ The truth is, when you’re famous, some people will love you and some people will hate you for the exact same thing.”

34. Her wedding to Portia was pretty much the most beautiful thing we've ever seen. The pair married in 2008 at their home in L.A., after dating for four years. Ellen told People: What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world."

35. The video of Ellen and Portia going Christmas tree shopping, which makes us wish it was the holidays all the time.

36. She made Britney Spears go carol singing with her, which would have been amazing even without the pilgrim costumes.

37. Way back in 2011, Ellen was named one of Forbes' Top 10 Celebrity Tweeters. She has over 16 million followers to date.

38. She believes in bravery. Ellen told Shape magazine: "I think I read somewhere that courage isn’t about doing something you’re not scared of. Courage is doing something in spite of the fact that you are scared of it.”

39. That ping pong table. We were blown away by a lot of things when Ellen and Portia opened up their home to Architectural Digest in 2011, but one of the most amazing things in their house -- and the first thing guests saw upon entering -- was undoubtedly the glass ping pong table made by Rirkrit Tiravanija.

40. Her rapping session with Rebel Wilson. On an October 2012 episode of "The Ellen Degeneres Show," the two performed an outstanding rendition of "Shoop" by Salt-N-Pepa. Can we get that on iTunes?

41. She praised Kate McKinnon's impression of her on SNL. Not all celebrities are a fan of SNL skits based on them, but Ellen loved hers so much that she talked about it on her own show the next episode.

42. The way she introduced Portia on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The pair appeared for their first interview as a married couple in November 2009. Ellen introduced her wife as "the smartest, kindest, most wonderful woman that you'll ever, ever know."

43. She invited Psy on her show to teach her and Britney how to dance "Gangnam Style." After Britney tweeted that she wanted to learn the "Gangnam Style" moves, Ellen surprised her with a lesson by none other than Psy himself. We're just sad that Simon Cowell wasn't there to join the fun.

44. She says she doesn't regret anything. In 2007, Ellen told Vanity Fair: "I don't have any regrets or I wouldn't be the person I am today."

45. She started her own record label. Ellen launched eleveneleven in 2010, demonstrating once again that she's not afraid to try something new.

46. She may or may not be related to Kate Middleton. In 2011, Ellen claims she received a letter from the New England Genealogical Society stating that she and the Duchess of Cambridge are 15th cousins. We'll take it.

47. She's danced with POTUSandFLOTUS on her show. Jealous!

48. She hangs out with animals. As well as the aforementioned sloth, Ellen has invited an orangutan, an anaconda, and an owl to join her on set.

49. She refused to wear a dress for W magazine when she was featured on their cover in 2007. Ellen told interviewer Bridget Foley: "When I [first] thought about doing it, I thought, Okay, I'll be open to this. I'll play dress-up. Then I thought, I just don't feel comfortable in it. I don't want to apologize for who I am."

This list wouldn't be complete without some of our favorite moments from her TV show, including...

50. Testing out the Hawaii Chair.

51. Scaring celebrities in general -- but mostly Taylor Swift.

52. Getting "the lowdown" on Justin Timberlake's underwear.

53. The time she sent Dennis Quaid to Starbucks.

54. Discovering young singers Sophia Grace and Rosie -- and their rendition of "Super Bass."

55. The time she drove a firetruck through Hollywood. Please let this woman have 55 more great years ahead.

Snooki & JWoww Fit Right In

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley attended a viewing party for "Ru Paul's Drag Race" on Friday, and we don't know who looked more outrageous, the reality TV stars or the drag queens. Snooki's outfit was par for the course: a black and gold lace top and teeny-tiny hot shorts, topped off with a big black bow on her head. But JWoww's look stole the show.

JWoww wore a black tuxedo jacket, pants and not much else. Her ill-fitting jacket wasn't able to contain her enormous breasts, and as a result, her floral bra was on display. Are you surprised by these attention-seeking outfits?

What Landed Ashton Kutcher In The Hospital?

$
0
0

PARK CITY, Utah — Ashton Kutcher says playing Steve Jobs on screen "was honestly one of the most terrifying things I've ever tried to do in my life."

The 34-year-old actor helped premiere the biopic "jOBS" Friday, which was the closing-night film at the Sundance Film Festival.

Kutcher plays the Apple Inc. founder from the company's humble origins in the 1970s until the launch of the first iPod in 2001. A digital entrepreneur himself, Kutcher said he considers Jobs a personal hero.

"He's a guy who failed and got back on the horse," Kutcher said. "I think we can all sort of relate to that at some point in life."

Kutcher even embodied the Jobs character as he pursued his own high-tech interests off-screen.

"What was nice was when I was preparing for the character, I could still work on product development for technology companies, and I would sort of stay in character, in the mode of the character," he said. "But I didn't feel like I was compromising the work on the film by working on technology stuff because it was pretty much in the same field."

But playing the real-life tech icon who died in 2011 still felt risky, he said, because "he's fresh in our minds."

"It was kind of like throwing myself into this gauntlet of, I know, massive amounts of criticism because somebody's going to go `well, it wasn't exactly...,'" Kutcher said.

While the filmmakers say they tried to be as historically accurate as possible, there was also a disclaimer at the very end of the credits that said portions of the film might not be completely accurate.

Still, realism was always the focus for Kutcher, who watched "hundreds of hours of footage," listened to Jobs' past speeches and interviewed several of his friends to prepare for the role.

The actor even adopted the entrepreneur's "fruitarian diet," which he said "can lead to some serious issues."

"I ended up in the hospital two days before we started shooting the movie," he said. "I was like doubled over in pain, and my pancreas levels were completely out of whack, which was completely terrifying, considering everything."

Jobs died of complications from pancreatic cancer.

Still, Kutcher was up to the challenge of playing Jobs, in part because of his admiration for the man who created the Macintosh computer and the iPod.

"I admire this man so much and what he's done. I admire the way he built things," Kutcher said. "This guy created a tool that we use every day in our life, and he believed in it when nobody else did."

The film also shows Jobs' less appealing side, withholding stock options from some of the company's original employees and denying child support to the mother of his eldest child.

Kutcher still found the man inspiring. Jobs had a singular focus, Kutcher said, and felt like anyone could change the world.

"I don't know if there's ever been an entrepreneur who's had more compassion and care for his consumer than Steve Jobs," Kutcher said. "He wanted to put something in your hand that you could use and you could use it easily... and he really cared about that."

'We Forgot About Nirvana'

Nirvana fans were in for a surprise last month when the remaining members of the band performed for the first time in decades. While Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear were without the great Kurt Cobain, a somewhat unexpected singer stepped in to take the mic. Beatles alum Paul McCartney performed with the band members twice -- at the 12-12-12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy, and on "SNL."

While many Nirvana faithfuls were happy to see the band together in any form, some, including Cobain's former wife, Courtney Love, were less than pleased with the inclusion of McCartney.

"We started playing for the first two hours, maybe, we were so in awe of Paul that we forgot about Nirvana," Grohl said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "It took a few hours before I realized, wait a minute . . . we haven't done this in maybe 20 years, Krist and Pat and I – wow, how cool. And f----n' Paul is here, too."

For his part, Grohl spoke about what an impact that Beatles had on music. "The funny thing about musicians from that generation is that they're pioneers," he said. "The reason why they changed the world is that they were doing something that no one else was doing, and they weren't scared to do it. It's our generation that gets safe with music. A lot of people from my generation of music are so focused on playing things correctly or to perfection that they're stuck in that safe place. They're not willing to, like, f----n' get rad. And Paul definitely is."

The history of Nirvana (as well as that of McCartney, Fleetwood Mac, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Neil Young) was celebrated at the Sundance Film Festival this week. "Sound City," a documentary led by Grohl, tells the story of the famed California recording studio that produced some of music's biggest albums. "Sound City" is set for a Feb. 1 release.

Miley Cyrus Goes Braless On Cosmopolitan Cover

Miley Cyrus isn't afraid to flaunt what she's got.

The 20-year-old star poses braless on the cover of Cosmopolitan's March 2013 issue and talks about her newfound confidence, as well as her hunky fiance Liam Hemsworth.

Donning a white suit and not much else, Cyrus shows off her incredible body as she admits her fear of entering back into the music world. When asked to rank the parts of her life that she feels most satisfied with -- love, family, music, acting -- the former "Hannah Montana" actress puts love at the top spot.

"Number one is my relationship with Liam. That's what I feel the most confident in," she gushes to Cosmopolitan adding, "because you never know; there's so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone f**king hates it."

That's doubtful, considering Cyrus has over 11 million followers on Twitter and admirers all around the world. And the reason she's so adored? Her individuality.

"I think the best thing I could have done was take those two years off to really live, because now people don't think of me as who I was on the TV show," Cyrus says of her Disney past. "Some of the worst things that have happened in my career, like things getting leaked, have actually been what's best for me, because people knew when I was on that show that I was really growing up. I never faked anything. I never played the Disney game of smiling and being a princess and then suddenly having a hard time, saying, 'That isn't who I really am.'"

As for who she really is now, Cyrus admits she's the luckiest girl in the world, thanks in part to her delicious arm candy.

"I'll literally look at him and be like 'You are hot, dear God!'" the singer says of Hemsworth. "The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, 'I'm gonna faint -- the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot.' So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, 'Who's that? He is so hot!'," she continues, "That's my hubby!"

"Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" puts a spin on the classic tale, portraying the duo as feared fighters of evil rather than innocent children.

Jessica Chastin continued her box office domination with two movies in the top five. Horror flick "Mama" took the number two spot on Friday, making $3.8 million across 2,682 theaters. The Guillermo del Toro movie has made $39.6 million since its Jan. 18 release. Chastain's controversial "Zero Dark Thirty" came in at number four, making $2.3 million at 2,929 theaters. Led by Kathryn Bigelow, "Zero Dark Thirty" has earned a domestic gross of $62.4 million.

Oscar hopeful "Silver Linings Playbook" reached number three on Friday. Starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, the movie made $2.3 million across 2,641 theaters, for a domestic gross of $61.8 million. "Silver Linings" is up for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress.

Rounding out the top five is Jennifer Lopez's "Parker." The thriller debuted on Friday to $2.1 million across 2,224 theaters. Absent from the list is the star-studded "Movie 43," which made $1.8 million on its opening Friday. Starring Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Richard Gere, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Dennis Quaid, Kate Winslet, and Uma Thurman, among others, "Movie 43" has received harsh reviews.

Vika, Redfoo To Party After Aussie Win

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Victoria Azarenka plans to celebrate with her rap star friend Redfoo after a dramatic Australian Open.

Azarenka was joined by Party Rock Crew, as Redfoo's group is known, after the winning the title against Li Na on Saturday.

The LMFAO frontman known for his wild hair and wilder music has been a colorful addition to this year's Australian Open, where he was a regular fixture in Azarenka's front-row seats. During her final, his leopard-print jacket was visible from the upper decks.

"It's a dream come true," Redfoo told an Australian TV station, referring to Azarenka's win. "I came out here to support her, and I'm just so happy."

The interviewer seemed more interested in getting the pair to talk about their relationship, which made the 23-year-old Azarenka turn bright red.

In one attempt to change the subject, Redfoo said that he and Azarenka share a love for music.

"She's actually very into music, she has a piano now on the road. In the off-season she might be my pianist," Redfoo said of the world's No. 1 player.

The interaction was a light moment after a heavy match.

Azarenka beat China's Li 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, overcoming a hostile crowd to win her second back-to-back Australian Open title.

Li twisted her ankle twice, needed two medical timeouts and hit her head on the hard court. When twisted her ankle the second time and fell, Li said she blacked out for a couple of seconds. That happened early in the third set after a 10-minute break for Australia day fireworks.

When Li sent the last point long, Azarenka dropped her racket and began to sob. During the trophy ceremony she thanked her coach and the Party Rock Crew.

By the end of the ceremony Azarenka was all smiles, and the interviewer asked how she planned to celebrate.

"We party," Azarenka said.

Redfoo added: "We bring out the bottles" – a subtle plug for his upcoming new single called "Keep Calm and Bring Out the Bottles."

FRENCH OPEN, HERE SHE COMES: Li Na might have lost the Australian Open, but she'll always have Paris.

In a remarkably upbeat mood despite her loss, Li noted that several runners-up in Melbourne have gone on to win the French Open later in the year.

Last year, Maria Sharapova also lost to Azarenka and went on to win at Roland Garros.

The same thing happened to her, too.

In 2011, Li made an historic run to the Australian Open final but failed to deliver China its first Grand Slam trophy – until a few months later at the French Open.

In 2008, Ana Ivanovic lost the Australian final before winning the French Open.

"I don't know," Li said. "I hope I can do the same this year."

FLASHBACK TO CHINA: Li Na joked that it seemed like the China Open with all the Chinese chants and red flags waving in Melbourne.

Chinese fans poured into Rod Laver Arena for the match and cheered Li on with shouts of "Jai You Li Na" – or Let's Go Li Na!

Li said she felt lifted by the support.

"I (could) hear a lot of Chinese fans," she said.

So could the chair umpire, who had to ask for silence as some exuberant fans cheered in the middle of points.

"Also, I (could) see them with the China national flag everywhere," she said, with a big smile. "I was like, `Oh! It looks like the China Open.'"

It was a change from 2011, when Li admitted she struggled to deal with how some fans cheered during her final.

Li's success at the Australian Open in the past few years has likely increased the number of Chinese fans at the season's first major and helped the growth of the sport in China.

Good news for "X-Men" fans! Director Bryan Singer took to his Twitter account on Saturday to announce new cast members for the upcoming film.

Singer noted that Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, and Shawn Ashmore have been added to the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" cast. The director also thanked Brett Ratner, who directed "X-Men: The Last Stand," the third film in the franchise.

It was made public in November that both Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart will be returning to the film as well.

"What a gas! I mean, Patrick Stewart and I have been have just been playing 'Waiting for Godot' throughout England and in the West End of London. So, we've stayed in touch. We can't believe it [laughs]. I thought these were Fassbender and McAvoy's parts, but -- no, no -- we're back," McKellen told HuffPost in November. "We'll give them a run for their money. I mean, I haven't read the script, so I don't know how much we've got to do. But, to be back in that world, and for Bryan to be doing it -- with all the success he's had in the meantime -- it's wonderful. Wonderful."

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is due out on July 18, 2014.

Updated childhood classic "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" opened this weekend to a box office win. The Jeremy Renner film took the number one spot with $19 million across 3,372 theaters. "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters," which reinterprets Hansel and Gretel as fierce fighters of evil, took an early lead on Friday, making $6 million. The film earned a B CinemaScore and mixed reviews from critics.

Horror flick "Mama" continued its successful box office run, taking the number two spot. The Guillermo del Toro film made $12.9 million this weekend, across 2,682 theaters. "Mama" has made $48.6 million since its Jan. 18 release.

Oscar hopefuls "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Zero Dark Thirty" came in third and fourth, respectively. "Silver Linings Playbook," which stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, made $10 million across 2,641 theaters. The film, also featuring Robert De Niro, Chris Tucker, and Jacki Weaver, has made $69.5 million to date. "Zero Dark Thirty," starring Jessica Chastain, made $9.8 million across 2,929 theaters, bringing its domestic gross to $69.9 million. Both films are up for Best Picture, among other awards at this year's Oscars.

Crime thriller "Parker," starring Jennifer Lopez, completes this weekend's top five. The film saw a $7 million opening.

Despite its laundry list of Hollywood heavyweights, "Movie 43" made just $5 million on its opening weekend, keeping it out of the top five. The comedy stars Dennis Quaid, Seth MacFarlane, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Emma Stone, Richard Gere, Kate Bosworth, Jack McBrayer, Justin Long, Jason Sudeikis, Kristen Bell, Gerard Butler, Halle Berry, and Uma Thurman, among others. This is particularly bad news for Butler, who adds to his streak of box-office blunders. His two films prior to "Movie 43," "Playing for Keeps" and "Chasing Mavericks," made $12.9 million and $6 million, respectively.

Colombian pop star Shakira and footballer Gerard Piqué left the hospital Sunday and headed home with their newborn baby Milan, HuffPost Voces reports.

The couple tried to make a break for it without getting spotted, but the hospital was surrounded by press and photographers hoping to catch a glimpse of them as they departed. For now, the new mother will stay in a luxury apartment that belongs to Piqué along with close family members, while Piqué gets back to work for Barça.

Shak gave birth to her baby boy by caesarean section at Teknon Hospital in Barcelona on Jan. 22.

But curious fans will have to keep waiting to see what the baby looks like -- the throngs of photographers didn't manage to snap an image of him. Piqué tweeted the first picture of baby Milan's feet on Thursday.

Adele's Dad: 'It's Like I'm Dead To Her'

Since he sold a story about her to the press in 2011, Mark Evans has yet to have any contact with his daughter Adele -- and he has a feeling that trend isn't going to end.

In a new interview, Evans admitted to The Daily Mail that he has had no access to Adele or her 3-month-old son and feels like she has completely shut him out of her life.

"It breaks my heart that Adele is so hell-bent on cutting me off like this. I knew she had met her new fella ... but it was a bolt out of the blue when I found out she was expecting," Evans, 49, told The Daily Mail. "As soon as I found out, I wanted more than ever to get in touch and meet up so I could see how she was with my own eyes and let her know I'm here for her."

Adele, 24, has been dating her son's father, Simon Konecki, since January of last year. Still, Evans hasn't had the chance to meet him ... and probably never will.

Evans left Adele's mother Penny when the Grammy-winning singer was three and has not had a good relationship with his daughter since. After he cashed in on the story, Adele dissed her dad, openly admitting she would never speak to him again.

"I was actually ready to start trying to have a relationship with him. He's f**king blown it. He will never hear from me again," Adele told Vogue magazine in Feb. 2012. "There's consequences other than just getting a bit of f**king money that lasts you half a year. It blows my mind. 'I love her so much.' Really? Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face."

"I'm not interested in her celebrity status or her money, I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper granddad to the little one," Evans, a Welsh plumber, added to The Daily Mail. "I'm missing out on so many of the joys of being a grandfather. Simple pleasures like taking him out for a walk in his buggy along the promenade at Penarth like I used to with Adele."

SAG Award Winners Announced

Each year, the SAG Awards honor the best actors on film and television, and the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony was no different.

Daniel Day-Lewis, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence were among the movie stars nominated at the 19th annual SAG Awards. Once again, however, it was Ben Affleck who stole the show.

Affleck's "Argo" took home the Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Picture, upsetting "Lincoln" and "Silver Linings Playbook" to win the award. Following the film's victory at the Producers Guild of America Awards on Saturday night, "Argo" is in prime position to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24, this despite Affleck being snubbed in the Best Director category.

Lawrence solidified her status as Best Actress front-runner by grabbing the Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance in "Silver Linings Playbook"; Day-Lewis, also favored at the Oscars, won Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role for "Lincoln."

Tommy Lee Jones won the first award of the night. The actor, who wasn't at the ceremony, captured Outstanding Male Actor in a Supporting Role for "Lincoln." Anne Hathaway won the Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role trophy for "Les Miserables." Accepting her award, Hathaway joked that she was happy to have dental insurance.

On the television side, Alec Baldwin won Outstanding Male Actor in a Lead Role for "30 Rock"; Tina Fey won the Outstanding Female Actor in a Lead Role for the same series. "Amy, I've known you since you were pregnant with Lena Dunham," Fey joked during her acceptance to friend and fellow nominee Amy Poehler.

Despite those wins, "30 Rock" lost to "Modern Family" for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson thanked the casts of "30 Rock" and "The Office" for inspiration and general awesomeness, as both shows are going off the air after this season.

Julianne Moore won Outstanding Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for playing Sarah Palin in "Game Change." Kevin Costner was awarded with the Outstanding Male Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries for "Hatfields and McCoys." Costner wasn't at the SAG Awards ceremony.

After a flurry of early awards, Baldwin came back out on stage to announce Dick Van Dyke's Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award.

Bryan Cranston kicked off the second half of the SAG Awards by winning Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series for "Breaking Bad." He thanked his family, his cast and AMC.

Claire Danes won the Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series for "Homeland."

"Downton Abbey" was an upset victor in the Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series, defeating "Mad Men," "Breaking Bad," "Homeland" and "Boardwalk Empire" for the honor.

The 2013 SAG Awards results could help clear up the very murky Oscar race. From previous HuffPost Entertainment coverage of the SAG Awards, via The Associated Press:

Honors from the actors union, next weekend's Directors Guild of America Awards and Saturday night's Producers Guild of America Awards – whose top honor went to "Argo" – typically help to establish clear favorites for the Oscars.

But Oscar night on Feb. 24 looks more uncertain this time after some top directing prospects, including Ben Affleck for "Argo" and Kathryn Bigelow for "Zero Dark Thirty," missed out on nominations. Both films were nominated for best picture, but a movie rarely wins the top Oscar if its director is not also in the running.

Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" would seem the Oscar favorite with 12 nominations. Yet "Argo" and Affleck were surprise best-drama and director winners at the Golden Globes, and then there's Saturday's Producers Guild win for "Argo," leaving the Oscar race looking like anybody's guess.

The Screen Actors Guild honors at least should help to establish solid front-runners for the stars. All four of the guild's individual acting winners often go on to receive the same prizes at the Academy Awards.

Last year, "The Help" won Outstanding Ensemble in a Motion Picture, while Viola Davis, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer won the respective acting awards; all but Davis won on Oscar night (she lost to Meryl Streep for Best Actress).
