Lindsay Lohan's Ironic Party Appearance

Lindsay Lohan may be broke and facing jail time, but apparently that doesn't stop her from having fun.

The troubled 26-year-old ironically attended the holiday party for healthy lifestyle magazine, "Organice Your Life," last night (Dec. 14) at the Time Warner Building in NYC.

If it only it were an "Organize Your Life" kind of party ...

Dressed in a tight black dress and faux-fleece leather jacket, Lohan looked better than expected and flashed a smile as she entered the soiree -- despite her personal struggles.

The "Liz & Dick" star failed to appear in court in Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 12, where she was arraigned on charges for lying to the police about driving recklessly when she crashed her car on the Pacific Coast Highway in June. Her probation was revoked and prosecutors now want her to serve 245 days in prison.

And aside from her legal problems, Lohan's financial issues appear to be worse. Reportedly the former child star's possessions -- including designer clothes and family heirlooms -- are about to go up for auction since Lohan can't pay her bills and owes her storage company $16,000.

She is also having trouble paying the rent on her $8,000-a-month Beverly Hills mansion.

The only thing that appears to be going well in Lohan's life is her alleged romance with The Wanted's Max George. The actress has been following The Wanted on tour, hopping rides on their bus and partying with the guys into the wee hours of the morning.

"Yeah it’s fun [having Lindsay on tour]," George told HuffPost, "She’s a good girl."

Kristen Bell can't wait to welcome her first baby -- but that doesn't mean she's totally loving pregnancy.

The "House of Lies" star, 32, recently revealed she's never been happier ... or heavier!

"I am currently quite a bit overweight," she joked during a Dec. 12 radio interview with CBS Detroit's Stoney and Bill. "I'm pretty far [into pregnancy]. I'm about 367 pounds. I'm not sure how far that is in months, but in pounds, that's where I'm weighing in."

That same day, Bell -- who is expecting her first child with longtime love and fiance Dax Shepard -- flaunted her baby bump in a loose-fitting grey sweater at the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program Reading of "Life Partners," in Culver City, Calif. Her belly is bigger than we thought!

"I thought there was no cute maternity wear," she tweeted Dec. 8. "I was mistaken."

Aunts Kim and Khloe were on hand for the celebratory dinner, as well as Mason's dad Scott Disick and pal Jonathan Cheban.

Every school shooting I've ever heard about has been exceedingly heartbreaking and has stirred feelings of both rage and sorrow in me. Each one is tragic and awful, and there have been far too many of them in recent years.

But Friday's massacre in Newtown has affected me in a profoundly personal way, as I have a unique perspective on the town … I am blessed to have grown up there.

Have Demi Moore's Daughters Cut Off Contact With Her?

Reportedly Demi Moore's daughters have had enough.

According to the New York Daily News, Rumer, 24, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18 -- who are Moore's children with ex-husband Bruce Willis -- have decided to cut off all contact with her after her recent bizarre behavior at Miami's Art Basel.

Although the girls reconciled with their mom after her stint in rehab earlier this year, allegedly they are tired of 50-year-old Moore's crazy antics and partying ways.

“Rumer is really the one making the decision to do this as the oldest,” a source close to Rumer tells the Daily News, adding that as the girls started to get closer to their mom again, she scared them off with her wild lifestyle.

“Around the time Bruce’s wife Emma [Heming] had the baby, it was this scary sense of, ‘Demi went off her rocker again,’” says the source. (Willis and Heming welcomed their daughter Mabel Ray in April).

“Bruce is now very much out of the spotlight and the kids were very happy about that. They started feeling that Demi needs to stay home and be more of a mother," the insider explained. "She checked into rehab and they’d always been pushing for her to do that. [But] after Art Basel, she came out partying and dancing on tables again.”

The source also adds that Rumer was mortified after she found out her mom was dating 26-year-old Vito Schnabel, who runs in the same circles as she does. (Schnabel reportedly called off the romance last week).

“The kids are old enough to band together, Rumer being the ringleader,” the insider said. "The family is very much divided."

Saturday Night Live took a different approach to its cold open on the night after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

Instead of starting with a topical joke, the show kicked off with a touching performance of 'Silent Night', as sung by the New York City Children's Chorus, to pay tribute to those lost and affected by the tragedy.

Singing by candlelight, the choir performed in red robes, and delivered the "Live, from New York, it's Saturday night" line together, just before the opening credits. Martin Short, this week's host, did not address the shooting or the cold open, and instead performed a comedic, cameo-filled monologue -- as one would expect from the show's holiday episode.

The rest of the show carried on as usual, with surprise appearances by Samuel L. Jackson, Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon and Kristen Wiig, and musical performances by Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. The choir later joined Paul McCartney on stage for a rendition of 'Wonderful Christmastime.'

The film premieres of Jack Reacher and Parental Guidance were postponed or cancelled in wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, but a Saturday Night Live spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday that the show would go on.

But, this is not the first time Saturday Night Live has gone on air after a tragedy. In one of the show's most memorable moments, the 27th season premiere went to air 18 days after Sept. 11, 2001. In that episode, then-New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, New York firefighters and police officers joined the cast and executive producer Lorne Michaels on stage. Before starting the show, Michaels turned to Giuliani and asked, "Can we be funny?" to which the he replied, "Why start now?"

Amazing Race 2012 winners "The Beekman Boys," Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, have received more than 8,000 letters of congratulations from various fans after their triumphant finish.

One of those letters sparked a viral campaign to support a bullied young gay boy.

According to the Beekman Boys' blog, one of the first notes they received was from a mother with a son named Colin.

The letter read:

I’m sure you guys are way too busy to read this, but I want you to know how inspirational you two are to my 12 year old son. He is gay and is dealing with bullying and harassment in middle school. It’s so hard to see him going through this, and sometimes the “It Gets Better” message is lost on a 12 year old who feels that middle school will never end…We cheered you on every Sunday night and agonized every time you had difficulties. My son was so incredibly thrilled when you two won last night (as was I!). Thank you for helping him see that not only DOES it get better, it gets AMAZING.

Kilmer-Purcell and Ridge seized the opportunity to make a young boy feel special. The men asked each of the teams on this year's show to send a message of support to Colin. The entire cast responded and the images were posted on the Beekman blog Thursday.

"Colin, we know that you’re doing your best, and working as hard as you can in school. We shared Colin’s mom’s note with our fellow Amazing Racers – who have also all been underdogs for various reasons at some point in their lives," the Beekman team wrote on their blog.

"We urge everyone who feels like they’re down-and-out to “keep going, try as hard as you can, eventually someone will help you – and you will win,” they added.

Von D started dating Deadmau5 in mid-September before calling off their relationship in early November.

"Man, I sure was wrong," the tattoo artist tweeted at the time of the split. "But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. Lesson Learned."

Jason Mraz Brings Pop To Myanmar

YANGON, Myanmar — American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz mixed entertainment with education to become the first world-class entertainer in decades to perform in Myanmar, with a concert to raise awareness of human trafficking.

Mraz's 2008 hit "I'm Yours" was the finale for Sunday night's concert before a crowd of about 50,000 people at the base of the famous hilltop Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, the country's biggest city.

Local artists, including a hip-hop singer, also played at the event organized by MTV in cooperation with U.S. and Australian government aid agencies and the anti-slavery organization Walk Free.

Myanmar is emerging from decades of isolation under a reformist elected government that took office last year after almost five decades of military rule. It has been one of the region's poorest countries, and its bad human rights record made it the target of political and economic sanctions by Western nations.

But democratic reforms initiated by President Thein Sein have led to the lifting of most sanctions, and the country is hopeful of a political and economic revival. Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, the pro-democracy opposition leader, was released from house arrest in late 2010 and won a seat in parliament last April.

Mraz called his top-billed appearance at the concert a "tremendous honor."

"I think the country is, at this time, downloading lots of new information from all around the world," he said. "I've always wanted my music to be here, (for) hope and celebration, peace, love and happiness. And so I'm delighted that my music can be a part of this big download that Myanmar is experiencing right now."

Organizers said Mraz was the first international artist to perform at an open-air, mass public concert in Myanmar. Jazz artists Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Charlie Byrd visited the country under U.S. government sponsorship in the 1970s, when it was still called Burma, but played at much smaller venues.

Many in the crowd queued for two hours before being admitted to the concert site. Yangon native Sann Oo, 31, wearing a white T-shirt with a sketch of Mraz, said he was pleased that Mraz had come and that there would be a broadcast of the event.

"His visit can promote the image of Myanmar, because people outside have been seeing the country as an insecure place, and poor," he said. "Now they can see how we look like from the concert. It also opens the potential for more concerts by foreign artists."

Mraz has a history of involvement with human rights and other social causes.

But there was some criticism of his visit by campaigners for Myanmar's Muslim Rohingya community, which has been the target of ethnic-based violence this year that has forced scores of thousands of people from their homes into makeshift refugees camps. They feel Myanmar's government has been complicit in the discrimination, and that Mraz's visit provides it cover with the image of being a defender of human rights.

Walk Free used the occasion of Sunday's concert to launch a campaign calling on the world's major corporations "to work together to end modern slavery by identifying, eradicating and preventing forced labor in their operations and supply chains." They are seeking to have the companies make a "zero tolerance for slavery pledge" by the end of March next year.

"While many think of slavery as a relic of history, experts estimate that there are currently 20.9 million people living under threat of violence, abuse and harsh penalties," the Australia-based group said in a statement. "Within this massive number, the majority of people – more than 14.2 million – are in a forced labor situation, used to source raw materials, and create products in sectors such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing and domestic work."

Words Of Wisdom From The Internet's Raciest Grandmas

Golden Sisters Mary, Teresa and Josie Bartnicki have a lot to say, as anyone familiar with the viral videos of their reactions to Kim Kardashian's sex tape and "50 Shades of Grey" can attest.

"We were born like that," Mary said, before her sisters can jump in. "New Yorkers speak their minds."

"We interrupt, we intrude," added Josie.

"My ex-husband used to say, 'You're so intrusive,'" Teresa said.

"Well you are, Terry," Mary agreed, speaking over her younger sister.

The Bronx-born sisters (Mary is 81 and twins Teresa and Josie are 73) want to be "poster old ladies" for the golden years, and they've found the perfect venue for their sassy and blunt observations; their show "Golden Sisters" premieres on OWN with back-to-back episodes airing tonight. The show builds on the following the sisters earned through their Golden Sisters YouTube videos. Production company LMNO Productions videotaped the Golden Sisters' weekly lunch dates where the three would offer not-your-typical-grandmotherly advice to questions submitted via Twitter.

"We have a lot of information that this world has to know," Mary said. "We’ve lived it you know? Whatever we tell you, whatever we’ve learned, we let want everyone to know."

The Huffington Post spoke with Mary, Teresa and Josie as they talked about their bond, the most important lesson they've learned (including tips they picked up from Kim Kardashian's sex tape) and their biggest accomplishments.

The Huffington Post: How did the opportunity to be on OWN present itself?

Teresa: I’m an agent and I was pitching some shows. One show I really liked was "My Son the Plumber." The people I pitched it to (LMNO Productions) loved the mom, and I said I have two sisters. We had lunch every Wednesday so someone would come and film us. While they were filming us, one of the little segments that we did went viral and that was because something happened in my sister Josie’s beauty salon.

Josie: I was reading a magazine and Kim Kardashian was on the cover. I said to one of the hairdressers, “Look at her, isn’t she beautiful?” And her comment was, “She’s a slut!” So I said, “Why would you call her a slut?” She said, "Let me take you to the front desk where I have a computer so I can show you this video." I looked at the video and after one minute, I said, “Oh my God, I can’t believe that!”

One day we had lunch and the subject came up among us, what do you think of Kim Kardashian? And I said “Oh my God, she did a video, you guys didn’t see the video?” And they said “No.”

Mary: We don’t watch porn.

J: So they filmed us watching the video, LMNO put it on the Internet and it went viral. We got 6 million hits on YouTube.

M: I learned something from that porno, let me tell you. It’s unbelievable! Even at my age you can learn something. At 81! I kind of enjoyed it a little bit, it really made us laugh and have a lot of fun.

HP: What’s one thing you know now that you wish you knew when you were younger?

J: Things don’t mean a thing. When you’re younger, you want to buy this thing and that thing and that thing and this thing. And things don’t matter. Family and loving each other and that kind of stuff [matters].

M: But Josie, that’s not reality.

J: Well then, what would you say is something you've learned now that you didn't know when you were younger?

M: I shouldn’t have gotten married at 18, that’s number one. I wish I had more kids, that’s number two. And I wish I hadn’t let my husband get away with everything he got away with. Now that he’s dead -- he’s [been] dead a whole year -- God, I’m so happy and I don’t even know why! Because I was married for 62 years and all of a sudden I’m a widow and I feel so free. It’s ridiculous. I was happy when I was married too, but I made myself happy.

T: I think when you’re young you live your life a lot for other people, you do what other people think you ought to do. What I’ve learned is do what your heart tells you to do and follow your bliss. Make yourself happy because then the people around you will be happy.

J: Mary always says this: “Happiness is self-inflicted.” Don’t depend on the next person to make you happy.

M: My mother made us believe that a man is the head of the house even though we worked! We worked our whole lives, but then we got home there was dinner, we cooked, we cleaned, we took care of our husbands, we took care of our kids. And the husband was like a king, just sitting there. We had to treat them like a king. That’s what I would never do again. Treat a man like a king.

HP: What’s a rule that you feel like you can break without worrying what others think now that you’re older?

M: Staying out as late as I want! Maybe not coming home for the night, maybe spending the night at my sister’s.

J: No, you know what I love? I love spending everything I make. I love spending all the money my heart desires. I love giving a lot away. The thing I love most is creating a job for someone in my salon.

M: If we go to Vegas and she loses she says “So what? The dealer needed the money.” She’s a very, very happy loser.

T: As I grew older, the thing I like most is having sex and feeling guilty about it.

M: Why would you feel guilty about having sex?

T: When you’re younger, you feel guilty. Unless the relationship would really go further, you would feel really guilty and think, “Oh my God, I shouldn’t have gone to bed with him.” I used to think if you have sex with someone, you should really have a relationship, or get married. And now I think you can do it for fun.

J: At this age, right now, I don’t want anything I don’t have. I have a lot of crap in my house. Even after the earthquake I was so happy a few things broke. I’m so “stuffed” out.

HP: What is your greatest accomplishment?

T: My children are my biggest accomplishment -- I look at them and feel really good. I wrote a book and had it published, “How to kiss with confidence.” I discovered Shia LaBeouf, he was very poor and he got very wealthy, and that was fun for me. And now developing the show. It was several different things in my life that pushed me forward and made me happy because of the creative process.

J: The thing I’m most proud of is my salon Michelangelo Hair House in Woodland Hills, California. I’ve been in this shopping center for 40 years. 4-0. I’ve given a lot of hair dressers a start in the business, when nobody else would hire them I did. There are a lot of hairdressers who are hairdressers because of me. I implemented the apprentice program in the salon, otherwise they couldn’t afford to be hairdressers. So I feel like that’s my biggest accomplishment, besides my kids. I have four kids and three are attorneys and one is an insurance adjuster.

M: My biggest accomplishment is raising my grandson. When he was a year old his mother dropped him on my doorstep and I took care of him all these years, and now I’m taking care of his daughter, my great-grandbaby. She’s 8 years old and that’s my greatest accomplishment. I’m having a ball taking care of her.

J: Can I say this? I think Mary’s biggest accomplishment in life was making other people laugh. Because to me, laughter is medicine. She made people who would’ve gotten sick healthy when they sat in her chair and she did their hair. She made them laugh.

T: Another great accomplishment of Mary’s is raising the two of us. (All three sisters laugh.)

HP: How do you stay so vibrant?

J: I think it's genetics. And laughter, laughter is the best medicine.

M: I'm 81 years old. I have polka records and every morning for one hour I dance around my table. That's my exercise, because I can't afford a massage and all this stuff that they get.

HP: Why do you think people have a negative view on aging?

M: I know, isn't that terrible? We want to open their eyes. Every day is a beautiful day as long as you're healthy.

T: I think the big problem is loneliness and health problems.

J: I honestly believe you can laugh yourself to health.

M: Let me tell you something honey, getting old is beautiful! Look at me, look at how I'm going to die. What a finale! My God! Eighty-one-years old and I might be popular? I might be famous? Give me a break.

Greta Garbo may have been mysterious, but there's no doubting she was loved.

The movie star's personal possessions, including her sunglasses, shoes and furs, brought in an unexpected $1.6 million at auction this weekend -- proving the "Anna Karenina" star is as beloved as other Hollywood icons.

“Greta Garbo commanded Marilyn Monroe prices today,” Martin Nolan, the Executive Director of Julien’s Auctions, which hosted the event, said (via The Wrap). “Her beauty, extraordinary screen presence and fashion trending style were proven to be timeless in this extraordinary two-day event.”

Among her belongings auctioned off were her sunglasses, which sold for $13,750, as well as her Louis Vuitton steamer trunk ($37,500), antique gold pocket knife ($8,960), driving caps ($15,000), jewelry set ($9,600), Ferragamo shoes ($8,125), Maltese cross brooch ($13,750), Valentina Ottoman silk overcoat ($11,520) and velvet black turban ($12,800).

The event brought in three times the estimated take at pre-auction.

Garbo was a Swedish-born actress who rose to stardom during Hollywood's silent and classic eras. She was nominated for four Academy Awards for her roles in films like "Anna Christie" and "Camille" and received an honorary Oscar in 1954 for her "luminous and unforgettable screen performances."

Garbo retired in 1941 and died in 1990 at the age of 84.

Since the move to Las Vegas, the "Sister Wives" and their families have been making moves to get the family closer together. With progress being made on their new homes next to one another, it looks like things are moving in the right direction, but Christine still feels that the overall family structure is suffering right now.

"I feel like we’re failing as a family right now, I’m sorry," she said. "Because we haven’t gotten together a lot, we’re not each other’s support system right now. I think that’s frightening and that’s absolutely terrible."

She said they just aren't spending as much time together as a family, like they used to back in Utah. Furthermore, she often feels like she's now raising her kids all by herself, which isn't what she signed up for when she agreed to become a sister wife.

Christine did admit on Twitter that she's learned to ask the other wives for help with the kids, which would seem to indicate she's taking some responsibility for the distance she was feeling.

Adam Lambert may not be a diva in the traditional sense, but he hit up boot camp to prepare for his hosting gig for the latest "VH1 Divas" concert event. Who better to whip him into diva-tastic shape than NeNe Leakes of "The New Normal," "Glee" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

Leakes may not be a singer, but she knows a thing or two about diva-like behavior. She even walked off of "Celebrity Apprentice" after ongoing arguments with fellow contestant Star Jones. So she knew exactly what Lambert needed to do to get ready. Plus, she had real faith in her student.

"He won "American Idol," so maybe he can pull this off," she said. When a producer corrected her, telling her that Lambert was actually the runner-up during his season, Leakes showed how it was done with a diva fit of her own.

The newest housewives on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" seem determined to make a name for themselves -- and they certainly got their names trending on Twitter -- with a very bizarre fight during this week's episode. Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart were supposed to be talking out their differences, but things quickly escalated, and just as quickly stopped making any kind of sense.

Kenya told Porsha she was irrelevant. Porsha said, "Tell a Chinese man you want his baby!" She then proceeded to call Kenya Trash, stupid and a "curb ass b*tch."

But Kenya knew how to shut the argument down, even if it happened because everyone was scratching their head trying to figure out what she just said. Her closing argument was, "Fabulous! ‘Gone With the Wind’ fabulous! OK? Thank you."

The Winner of 'Survivor: Philippines' Is...

$

It was a wild ending to an intense season as "Survivor: Philippines" whittled its Final Four down to a single $1,000,000 winner. First to fall, at the final challenge, was seeming front-runner Malcolm Freberg. He admitted later that he just doesn't have steady hands, and that was what the final challenge was all about. Even an advantage won at the prior challenge didn't help.

Instead, returning player Michael Skupin won. As he had a tight alliance with former child star Lisa Whelchel, it really came down to whether they wanted to face Malcolm or Malcolm's closest ally, Denise Stapley. In the end, they chose to sit beside Denise, and it became a million dollar decision.

At the final Tribal Council, returning player Jonathan Penner outed Lisa's television past, which may or may not have impacted the votes she could have gotten. That's not to take anything away from Denise, who played a solid game. In the end, she took 6 of 8 votes, leaving Skupin and Lisa to split the other two, and thus tie for second place -- and that cash prize.

The 26th season of "Survivor" brings back the "Fans vs. Favorites" format and kicks off on February 13, 2013 on CBS.

'Survivor: Philippines' Reunion: Lisa's Moral Struggle

After a hard-fought season, the "Survivor: Philippines" reunion special brought the cast back to dish about a wild 39 days. Lisa Whelchel came into "Survivor: Philippines" as a known commodity to a lot of the viewers, though most of the people on the show had no idea who she was until Jonathan Penner outed her during the final Tribal Council.

For most of those days, she wore her heart on her sleeve and really struggled with how to play the game while holding onto her moral compass. It wasn't until her brother came during the "Loved Ones" episode that she really got her head into the game.

She talked about that struggle during the reunion, saying, "Nothing about ‘Survivor’ is the kind of thing that reflects, you know, the character of God, so it was a total internal struggle until I realized ... It’s OK to be human, and it’s OK to be sometimes good and sometimes bad."

Tune in for the new season of "Survivor," bringing back the "Fans vs. Favorites" format, starting February 13, 2013 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
